The Job:

Jumanah made her way to the orphanage, she recently had been looking for more jobs to do on her own rather than just letting the man she was staying with just informing her of any job he found that he thought she should do. What she found was a job to help some orphans feel better since many only recently became orphans.

If they felt any bit on how she had when she first woke up and learned of what happened... Well she didn't want to just sit back knowing that they were stuck feeling that way when she could possibly help. She had been thinking about what she wanted to do to help the kids.

She wasn't totally sure about what she wanted to try to do but she still wanted to at least go there and try to help. She paused and took a moment to look around trying to remember the instructions to the orphanage she was given. She believed that she was near it but she was still a bit lost on where it was.

Abal skipped around the town with a huge grin. Many people would think she is just an innocent girl, but really she is a thief. The girl was looking around, trying to find her next target. She was processing approximately how much profit she would get from just a single glance. However, her smile faded away like a sunset, slow but discouraging. That day, no one was a good target. They were either rich but heavily guarded or they were poor but defenseless. She sighed as she walked over to the job board. There were some interesting jobs which included lots of money, but she needed something quick, easy, and enjoyable. Then a job request caught her eye. Abal ripped the paper off the wall and read it with a small grin. She laughed as she quickly went off toward the orphanage with great force.

As she ran toward the orphanage, something caught her eye. At a full stop, she tilted her head and looked at the person. It was a women with a mask, looked older than Abal, with black hair. Abal eyes opened up with surprise as she touched her hidden crossbow with caution. "Is this an assassin from Kou? Are they coming after me?" She took a deep sigh and tried to remain calm. Abal needed to act as if she is a normal girl. She approached women with nice, convincing smile. "Hello ma'm. Are you lost?"

Jumanah looked around still and frowned under her mask, she wouldn't lie to herself like many would. No, she would be brutally honest... She was lost and she knew she should have written down those instructions. She mentally scolded herself in her mind though to any passing person the girl would just look like she was staring off into the distance. She stopped her mental attacks to herself for her not being smarter and prepared upon hearing a girls voice speaking to her. She looked to the younger and smaller girl hiding her frown under her mask as she heard her words.

Ma'm... the word made her feel so... old... she didn't want to feel old, she didn't want to be reminded of how much of her youth was taken from her she-... she forced her thoughts to stop after realizing that to the girl she probably just looked like she was silently staring at her and she didn't want her to feel uncomfortable nor creeped out by what seemed like her staring eerily at her. She nodded to the girls question that was asked a while ago and proceeded to answer. "Yes, I need to reach the orphanage, do you know where that might be?" She asked in a calm near casual manner to the girl hoping that her long delay did not ruin her chance at help to get to her job.

Abal looked at the girl with a smile but it turned after some time. The masked girl took some time to say something which made Abal have mixed emotions. This proved that the girl is not an assassin at all as they would not hesitate to say anything. However, this girl is weird that she is not an assassin, especially with that mask. When Abal needs to, she will wear a mask during a heist but what is the reason for her. Her reason was shrouded with mystery.

Abal put a nice smile on her face and nodded after the reply. "Follow me!" She then places his hand on her shoulder to make sure she is paying attention and points to a direction. Abal then skips along the path, hoping that the girl follows.

In Abal's mind, this girl may still be a thief or ninja or something dark and dangerous. At the same time, she looked so innocent as if she would not even hurt a fly. However, looks can be deceiving and if you mistake someone for who they are, it can cost you your life.

She stops at a small house with a roof falling and holes through the house. Abal knew from one look that this was the house and she remembered it well. She knocks on the door, hearing loud noises but does not hear an answer. Abal pushes through the door to see what the problem is.

Jumanah blinked as the girl suddenly turned but her confusion as to why she did so so suddenly left the moment the girl said to follow her. She nodded and walked beside her and followed close to her to make sure she didn't get lost. Thankfully the girl put a hand on her shoulder which made it easier for Jumanah to be able to follow and not get lost in any large amount of people they passed by. Though soon after she pointed towards the direction the girl removed the safety net from Jumanah and took away her hand and started to skip away.

Jumanah quickened her pace to try to keep up with the girls skipping. Jumanah then blinked seeing the house and frowned. This was the place that the orphans had to stay in...? She was glad that she wasn't put here but she felt sorry for the kids that had to live here. Jumanah's head perked up as she heard the loud noises and followed the girl in. She saw some kids running around and chasing one and other. She then quickly made her way over to the kids as they were running towards a wall while they were running after each other clearly too lost in their own rough housing to realize the objects they were knocking over but clearly a wall would hurt far more if they hit that.

She quickly caught the kids before they ran into the wall but they all seemed to still fight with one and other. She sighed and let them go before gaining a focused look in her eyes before she pulled out her staff and held it to the ground while she closed her eyes and focused as she had practiced not too long ago. She then casted her spell The Music Of The Rukh, echoy like sounds started to fade into existence gaining the children's attention and slowing their fighting to a stop out of curiosity. She then turned the sounds into panthers that was slowly turning into a song as she made the rukh make various sounds from all around the room to create a calming yet up beat song that sounded unlike any instrument in the world yet.

The children's faces slowly grew bright smiles that were filled with wonder and amazement as they looked around the room for the music's source but found nothing. "Wow...." "So cool!" Two kids said making Jumanah smile under her mask as she continued. The kids started to jump around and playfully run around the room while some danced but all enjoying the music as Jumanah preformed her song with her magic. She though soon finished it and the song faded away which made some kids pout for a few moments before going back to their playing and other clapped happily in approval.

She then looked to the girl and walked over to her "I had seen the job that talked about cheering up the children and well it seems like I managed to do so. Would you happen to know where the head of the orphanage is?" She asked calmly but kindly. She was glad that she had managed to help the kids and she knew they would probably start to rough house again out of probably frustration but she was glad that she could calm them down even if it was a brief amount of time.

As the masked girl entertained the kids, Abal went to find the owner. Abal and the owner were close friends and would sit together and chat on nice days. However, nowadays, they are both so busy it's hard to socialize anymore.

Abal looks at a huge wooden door and knocks on it. There is no answer with either a come in or the door being open. Abal knew what to do so with her half fanalis strength she broke the door down with a kick.

She goes over to the owner sleeping and slaps him to wake him up. Then she explains on how there is another person who wants and award so the owner goes to where Jumunah is and talks with her.

Abal then goes over to the kids with a nice smile ready to entertain them. She already made a dart board for them so she gets about 30m away and she is standing outside. The dart is in the house and from her angle, she shoots and it hits in the middle of the board.

After a long day playing with the kids, Abal heads over to the owner to get her money. Even though she may be acting happy she really isn't. She wasn't able to steal today.
