The swordsman was back to the Coliseum, bringing lots of idea under his sleeves to be practiced directly in a real battle to see if he was capable to defeat an enemy by using the ability that he trained as the killing blow. Although for the new ability to be able to be successfully executed was already a great thing, Tenma wanted to challenge himself. He knew that other people might see him as an ambitious man with a naive belief, however he was a simple man who was striving to be stronger and the way he did it was by challenging himself. He waited for the gate from the opposing side to be opened after the emcee announced his name as a signal for him to enter the arena and got ready to fight. The black haired man was not really picky with his enemies, anyone who showed up would receive the same treatment although he couldn’t lie but he might be a little bit gentler towards female warrior even though he knew they wouldn’t like to be underestimated like that. However for Tenma it was the act of respect and he would still give his all to the fight even if he needed to fight against a female fighter.

A sigh of relief would leave his lips as his opponent was not a female and he was quite satisfied with who stepped down from the gate. He wouldn’t need to worry about giving scars to women since the one who stood in front of him with full of pride was a Fanalis male who looked really confident with the strength that he had.


Tenma knew that Fanalis had amazing speed and amazing strength based from what he learned by observing Hiro when they were doing a couple of missions together, however e might have to admit that the Fanalis that he met at Heliohapt was a little bit different from the other Fanalis he had met so far. He was hot headed but there was something more resided in his mind that made him still able to control himself unless something took his mind over and changed him into a beast that he could call as a brutal killing machine. So far no Fanalis was as interesting and as strong as Hiro if he could say and that made Tenma wondered if this redhead in front of him was capable to make him acknowledged that he was on par with his fellow Fanalis. The swordsman chuckled and smiled towards the redhead even though he knew that the Fanalis wouldn’t be so kind to reply his smile back, he seemed to love the cheer from the audience as he waved towards the spectators when his name was announced; Zai, the Fanalis and a brute strength holder. Perhaps this would be very interesting…

Once the battle begin, the Fanalis would begin to run towards Tenma and attempted to use his Flurry of Blows and Feints once he got into a close distance with the swordsman. However Tenma was not so blunt to now react to this kind of attack as he already anticipated it since the battle began. It was so silly to the point Tenma wanted to laugh on how the Fanalis recklessly approached him without thinking and attempted to deal a blow towards him only to be blocked by his Lava shield that he prepared in front of him right away right after the battle start. He also used the chance to use the ability that he made from the shield and cast 15 meters high lava wave towards the redhead. The one eyed man smirked when he saw that Zai managed to slapped the attack out of the way by using his bursting parry.

Both of the fighter was not moving and could only stare towards each other, acknowledging the strengths that each other held. It was not every day the Fanalis could get a pretty interesting fighter like this who was able to keep up with his insane speed and strength, so the redhead was pretty hyped up because of this swordsman who kept staring at him with his golden eye. He couldn’t interpret the meaning of the stare as the eye of the one eyed man only show a mere excitement that a fighter commonly had. However if he tried to dug deeper, he felt like he was being absorbed into an endless darkness that his eye held. They said eyes were the window to someone’s heart, so could it be that his heart was pitches black like how Zai saw from Tenma’s eyes? The Fanalis stepped back and got ready to blow another attack as he knew that whether his heart was black or white, it didn’t matter at all. All that matter was the battle, whether he won or not depended on himself alone and he wanted to win, so bad… there was no way for him to let this newcomer to take his victory.

Zai would then use the heritage from his race as he delivered a corkscrew punch towards Tenma, but before it could get closer towards the one eyed man, the swordsman pulled his hand back to engage the base of the palm to deliver four upward thrust so he could clash with the Bursting Strike. The redhead was surprised that a mere human who seemingly weaker in the term of strength with his clan managed to actually clash with his attack with a simple palm thrust ability. Tenma was not a foolish man who would go to the path of warrior if he couldn’t stop this kind of attack even though it cost him some of his stamina to be able to clash the ability, it was still worth it to be able to be on par with this Fanalis in front of him. So the swordsman decided to test the ability that he had been working out before he entered the arena today, it had same concept with his ability to focusing magoi on his hands although this time, he would infuse the magoi into his Katana. Probably it would do him a wonder so he by doing the same concept of his Shogekiha ability, Tenma finaly unsheathed his Katana to the side and focusing his magoi into his palms first before transferring it into his Katana. Then when he was ready, he would use his Shidden-issen-tou towards the redhead that would instantly finished him. Fortunately for Zai, Tenma was not in the mood to kill so he didn’t really aim for vital part of his body and only ended up making him unable to move and unconscious because of the magoi infused slash.

Tenma was pleased with his achievement to be able to do the skill that he had been trained since last night as well as truly using it as the final killing blow for the poor fanalis. The one eyed man smiled happily and wondered what kind of ability that he should give it a try next since he still had a lot of concept inside his head as well as already undergo some kind of small training so he could grasp the basic on how to do it properly such as the right stance, movement and also the strength that he needed to use. He might not went back to Heliohapt soon because of this since he really liked how coliseum helped him to train himself as well as giving him a very amusing experience to try and fight various type of coliseum fighters that would give him advantage in the future. As his name was being called as the victor of the battle after several second of disbelief that Tenma was not actually breaking a sweat nor having difficulties on defeating the famous Fanalis, the swordsman only give a smile before turned back and headed towards the gate. He could use the time to get a meal since it was already noon and the sun was already high, but since his body was still hot because of the adrenaline stuff, he was kind of not sure if he wanted to go outside. However, he found a nice way to cool his body down by pouring water on himself starting from the head before stretching his arms up and headed outside the coliseum. He would surely come back again after he got some warm meal in his stomach and he wondered what kind of food that would be good for him to eat. Probably he should visit this dumpling stall since it has been a while since he ate that and he missed the taste of those fluffy warm dumplings that would give him an explosion of flavor inside his mouth once he bit and chew it. After that, a flavored ice might be a very suitable dessert for this hot day and would help him to calm down a little bit more. Feeling happy that he already knew where to head, the one eyed man began to make his towards his lunch.
