ГPat..pAt.paT..pat, went the sound of feet pressing down onto the soft white snow that fell from the skies. Footprint after footprint led to many more footprints that just seem like a bunch of footprints made by a groups of feet. Whomever made snow sure had a liking for Imuchakk. Snow would pollute the place everyday and led to huge mountains of snow that would lead to avalanches. It wasn't everyone kindve taste but mother nature sure enjoyed dropping this dump over here. Tai had some things to get done and he needed some hot coco to go with it..

So what place to go for some awesome food other than 'ImuBucks' it served imported coffee beans, hot chocolate from pure coco, had wonderful crossants, and best of all the amazing dessert. Tai couldn't get enough of, it was a world for a busy guy like himself. He walked through a bunch of different routes so he could reach his destination and probably have the time of his life with take out. He didn't plan on staying there because he wanted to enjoy some of it within his home. He started to pick up pace while walking and then all of a sudden within the blink of an eye.

Tai had crashed into someone and fell into the snow. Surprised that his instinics weren't higher. His desire for some ImuBucks took over his senses so he hadn't even paid attention. As he would wiggle the snow of his head, he noticed that it was someone from the village not aware of whom it really was. He wondered constantly and constantly with no hesitation to ride to his feet to lend a hand if the person would accept looking down at them as he stood on his feet.

"I'm reallly sorry about that " he said with a meaningful expression on his face while rubbing the back of his head.

Imuchakk. It had been several long months since the young halfling had left her home to embark on a large journey to the outer regions of the country of Imuchakk and what laid beyond its closed borders. An impulse it had been yet such a decision had reaped its great rewards. Now, the light pink haired woman had decided to return and, as thus, had found her way back to her small village. She would then be ready to resume what little of a life she had left behind even if it had not been grand or even perhaps memorable. Yet, that would be her plans until, of course, another opportunity would arise for her that would take her on yet another adventure she oh-so happened to crave.

Serenity smiled as she thought back on what had occurred weeks prior to her long absence. More specifically, on the day she had made up her mind to leave the realm of frozen waters. The fanalis chuckled, deep in thought, as her feet continued to subconsciously guide her back towards her village. Oh how she remembered it well. It had taken much persuasion for the young adventurer to have obtained permission from the village's elder to do so, but obtained it she had which was something she was eternally grateful for. To have granted her such a gift was truly a blessing and, to say the least, the months she had spent outside of their villiage had proved to be an unforgettable as well as an unimaginable experience like no other. One she could have never thought to have lived through even before she had gone on her voyage to the great unknown.

Serenity continued to walk silently through the unending rivers of white. The soft blankets of the pure, blue tinted snow provided a sort of surreal atmosphere to the land of Imuchakk. Her icy blue eyes twinkled in delight as her lips curled to that of a faint smile. She could truly feel the excitement of coming back home. The young fanalis closed her eyes briefly as she inhaled the sweet scent of nature's perfume. It was different from the foresty smell she had grown accustomed to, but still one she loved. After all, it was the smell of home. Not minutes after she had slowed her pace did the young fanalis snap back to reality. Serenity's deep reminiscence was promptly cut short as soon as something bumped into her thus causing her to fall into the ground.

Serenity blinked, daze, with no idea of what had happened. All her mind had managed to register was an extended hand which she hesitantly accepted. "I'm really sorry about that." The young man's voice said. Serenity glanced up as he, unsure of what to do next, rubbed the back of his head. Much to her dismay, all Serenity could do was nod mutely as she dusted herself off. Her crystalline scanned her surroundings. When had she made it to the city? She frowned slightly as she began mentally slapping herself for being careless until she again remembered the young man before her. Serenity gave him a warm, apologetic smile. "Ah! No worries. It was my fault really." She shifted to weight as she raised an eyebrow at his non blue hair. "Pardon me asking... Are you from around here?" She asked curiously before awaiting his response.

ГWehhhhh, went the calm breath from Tai's lips being released, it was a relief that she didn't seem to have been harmed from the collusion. In fact now this gave Tai a reason to have a conversation with her. She seemed like an beautiful young lady, but there was something very strange about her. Not power wise, and not the fact that she was in Imuchakk. In the process of thinking about all of this and having to still rethink everything that had just happened, he was interrupted by a few words that released from the females lips asking if he was from here.

"Yeah, but yah see Im what many would call a Halfling.. Hmmm, to make it clearer.. Im like two different kinds of rice that were divided equally together to form me. Yah know 'the birds n the bees'?" He said with the expression of his hands waving with the world's that repeled out of his mouth.

Before the female could even reply to him he'd interrupt, "I could say the same for you, Pink Haired Beauty?" as he blinked wondering what he'll in the world was she. She was a like a rose & a queen gave birth to a gorgeous petal that had been lost in this snowy north pole.

Tai was amazing when it came to metaphors it was his niche. He looked at the female and just observed her up and down hoping to probably know whom she was. He rarely seen females of her sort in Imuchakk especially with PINK HAIR! She didn't seem to be from here and so Tai took action, he didnt want her to deal with the cold snowy weather. Actually they were standing right in front of the famous 'ImuBucks' so this was perfect timing he thought.

"How about we finish this conversation inside?" he directed to the store right in front of them with a head nod hoping she followed.

Her words once finished, he was quick to reply. "Yeah, but, yah see, I'm what many would call a Halfling..." A halfling? Serenity's crystalline blue eyes almost immediately began to slowly scan the man up and down in a questioning manner. Although her gazing could have been looked upon as if she was checking him 'out,' he must have mistaken her gazing for another completely different manner for he continued. "Hmmm, to make it clearer..." The amateur spy listened intently. Was he to tell her of the races that made him? It would, regardless of what they were, definitely prove interesting as he carried neither the traits nor abilities of a Fanalis nor Imuchakk. None that she could see, of course.
The man seemed to yet again take the conversation in another course although it seemed to her that he took her as if she were inexperienced in the ways of the world outside. "I'm like two different kinds of races that were divided equally together to form me." Serenity nodded slowly as her eyebrows seemed to furrow in thought. It wasn't as if she didn't know what he was talking about as she was a halfling herself, but it was moreso to humor herself as he didn't seem to know what she was. This proved to be quite the amusement.
Serenity softly bit her lip. So, in the end, he never did tell her what he was. Human, for sure, but his other half? Still, she would not press the matter further. "Yah know 'the birds 'n the bees'?" The man said as he emphasized his ending words with the swatting of his hands into the empty air. The young Fanalis blinked. The bird and the bee..?
Before she could utter a single word in question of his words, he swiftly cut her short. "I could say the same for you, Pink Haired Beauty." Huh? Faint traces of a blush blossomed against her already cold nipped cheeks. Pink haired beauty? That was a first. "I was, um, born in a village not far from here." Serenity said at last although her words were hesitant. "I just arrived here from my voyage not so long ago." About her race, she would say nothing. But, regardless of it, he could already possibly now tell what she was or, at least, half of what she was.
If he said anything, she would give a brief pause as she would listen carefully to what he would say. And, when he would invite her into the the small cafe like building, she would agree. "How about we finish this conversation inside?" He said as he gave a head nod. Serenity smiled a warm smile in return. "Sure although," She gave a brief pause. "I never did catch your name." Serenity would await his before answering back with hers in return.

ГA smirk came to Tai's face while having a conversation with the female. It had really been a while since he was able to chitchat so casually with someone and so he thought it was a good way to really relieve all the stress. Despite having being in deep thought, not one moment did he take his concentration off of her. Wink, to glare at her lips, Wink to glare at her perfectly shaped eyes, Wink, to glare at her amazing hair. He couldn't stop looking at the female, but if it was one thing that he noticed was the sudden blush that came to her face.

'a village not too far from here? voyage?' Tai thought to himself wondering whom she truly was, she seemed to be freely walking through Imuchakk so she had probably already been approved of entrance. She must've had earned her way in, that was nice to actually know. That automatically meant she was a trusted ally. From the looks of things the female had agreed to come inside with Tai into the Cafe. Before he could press onto the door, she asked him for his name. "You might wanna improve that catching of your's" he said since she had included that 'she did not catch his name'.

"The name is Tai Black..Nothing Special Your Ordinary Civilian.." he gave a smile back despite the fact he clearly lied about ordinary. "And Yours Pink Haired Beauty?" if He would answer Tai would continue walking towards the door and pushed forward.

Hhhhhhhhhhhh

Went the squeak of the door opening. Tai held the door open so she could come in and he with ease found two seats for them up front right near the Server (Waiter/Waitress). This place was the best you could just tell from the scents the amount of delicious meals they have in here. They even had free bread sticks that customers could eat. Tai didnt even hesitate to grab one.

'May I Take Your Order Please?' a large Imuchakk man came with a notepad.

"I'll have Two double swirl cinnamon croissant, a batch of cheesy breadsticks, and the Rampaging Unicorn Latte."

'And For You Ms?' the waiter asked, Tai peeked at her waiting for her to order, she could get anything she wanted so he hoped she properly skimmed the menu. If she ordered the waiter would nod and go about taking care of the meals.

"So why not tell me about this 'voyage' of your's?'

The young male’s lips curled up to that of a smirk as Serenity spoke. During her speech, his gaze seemed to travel across her face, taking her features in, which, in turn, caused her to become a bit self-conscious of herself. Still, the young Fanalis was glad, though, that she did not stutter due to the nervous feeling she was beginning to feel from all the staring. When he finally spoke in reply to her, the self-conscious feeling dispersed and her eyes brighten with utmost attention. Yet, the words he would say next would catch her ‘off guard ”You might wanna improve that catching of yours.” He said as a teasing manner. Serenity cocked her head curiously to the side. What on earth was the young gentleman talking about? Catch what exactly?

As the seconds began to tick on by, it took a while for his words to sink in. Her eyes then began to grow wider in realization as her lips parted to that of an amused grin. My, wasn’t he the humorous type? ”You may be right.” She finally said, her mood returning back to a playful jest. ”Although one cannot learn how to catch without another person lending a hand.” What she meant by that, she would not say. She would leave it to the young man to take it however he wished to. For now, she was curious as to the young man’s name as well as where he came from. He was currently walking peacefully through Imuchakk so she could only deduce that he was from here was well. Still, she would await his answer before asking some questions of her own.

The young man then introduced himself. ”The name is Tai Black.” Tai? A peculiar name if she hadn’t heard one before herself. She could only wonder what it meant. After all, a name truly was everything.”Nothing special. Just your ordinary civilian.” A gentleman and modest, Serenity thought to herself as he smiled to her in turn. If he called that ordinary, she could only wonder what he considered extraordinary. ”And yours, pink haired beauty?” Serenity gave him a small, playful smirk. He had taken a liking to calling her that. If he emphasized the color of her hair, she could only conclude that he was indeed fascinated by it. It was then that it struck her. Black? Tai Black? Did he have any relations to Natalia d’Blakc?

She shook off the thoughts that had begun to cloud her already cluttered mind. It couldn’t be, could it? Yet, instead of saying anything, her icy blue eyes met his as they twinkled in mild amusement although her eyes seemed to contain hints of unreigned sorrow. ”Well, Mr. Black,” She began. ”The name’s Serenity.” No first nor last name, simply a name. ”Just Serenity.” If he would press, she would not know how to respond. After all, Serenity knew not who she was nor where she had originally come from. The young Fanalis only knew what she had been told by the village -that a couple had gained access to the city, birthed her, then had abandoned her in the midst of the garden of blue tinted snow.

After their brief exchange, Tai opened the door and stepped in as she trailed behind. She was uncertain of what was in store for her instead as she had never entered the cafe before, but she was definitely not at all disappointed. The swirls of mouth watering aromas instantly made the young woman close her eyes and deeply inhale the rich smells of the delicacies in store for her even if just briefly. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and watched as Tai chose a table for them two. She raised an eyebrow and shook her head slowly as he didn’t hesitate to grab the free appetizers they had for the customers, trying her to not grin widely, before taking his seat. She followed suit. ”You come here often?” She asked him amused. Yet, as to if he would answer, it would have been before or perhaps even after the server arrived to take their order.

Serenity felt her pockets to see if she carried extra cash on her. Thankfully she did and so she would feel comfortable to order and pay for her share of the meal or, even, the whole tab. After all, she could not allow him to pay for her especially as they had just met. ”May I Take Your Order Please?” A large Imuchakk man asked expectantly as he took out a notepad, awaiting their order. ”I'll have Two double swirl cinnamon croissant, a batch of cheesy breadsticks, and the Rampaging Unicorn Latte.” Tai swiftly replied. The waiter then turned to her. Serenity blinked momentarily before rapidly trying to scan through the menu she had neglected to touch. Her cheeks burned in embarrassment as the waiter continued to wait. ”I, um.., I’ll take a Mocha and a Big Blizzard’s brownie.” She gave a small sigh of relief. She had finally ordered without so much of having to make everyone wait.

Having placed her order, the waiter gave a firm nod and made his way towards the back. Serenity’s gaze slowly turned to Tai in hopes of continuing a conversation of some sorts. It appeared he also had that in mind for he asked her about her recent travels which she was more than happy to answer. ”So why not tell me about this 'voyage' of yours?” He asked her. Serenity beamed. ”Where do I start?” Serenity said with a tone full of wonder and happy reminiscence. "I left Imuchakk about a year ago, with permission of course, and travelled through worlds uncharted. So many beautiful cultures and things out there. Not to mention the adventures! You just have to see it all one day." She knew she didn't brush much on anything and so she would continue after taking a second to breathe.

She then continued. "Before this year, I had only known Imuchakk." She would begin at the beginning of it all. "Yet, I have always dreamed of adventure and uncovering the mysteries of the world." She frowned slightly. "I know it is not the ways of the Imuchackk, but..." She sighed. "Anyways, I was able to obtain permission from the Elder and headed off on the first boat out of this icy wonderland." Serenity would then glance at Tai to see if she should bother to continue. Maybe he wasn't interested? She didn't know, but she would continue regardless. "I found my way to Reim and almost joined forces with the Fanalis corps." She would, of course, omitt the part that she had trained as a spy and assassin under Bahir. "But my loyalty will always remain to Imuchakk so, after a few months, I came back and now I'm here." She paused to collect her thoughts. If he had anything to ask, now would be the best time to say it.

ГWehhhh, as a short sigh released from his lips. That coin flicking scene has seemed way much more cooler in his head, but it was already to late to take back the scene. He grinned back at Serenity, she had seemed to be amused by Tai's actions. So it wasn't completely a waste having done what he did. She replied stating that Imuchakk were hard to beat, and then it hit him that Tai didn't recall ever informing the Pink Haired lady that he was in fact an Imuchakk. He questioned his response as he glared at the females lips for they caught his attention. She had caught his eyes numerous times, and he had resisted numerous times to compliment her beauty.

With the shaking of his head he blurred out a few words to take his mind off the lips of the female. "They sure are... But they are nothing compared to Fanalis.." he said with a fasinated look. Tai loved the sight of Fanalis they were strong and probably had the most barbaric strength , Tai has ever seen. He wouldn't sell his race short,, but Fanalis had something like he had never seen before. Their raw talent and aggressive strength. Still as he looked up to them he couldn't forgive himself for what had caused the death to many.

Serenity didn't know much about Tai but she seemed to observe him throughly, well thats what Tai could tell from her words. She made him feel as if he were on the right way towards his goals. He glared at her as if he were in shock from her words. "I wish it were easy, but what does my goal matter if I know others can't accomplish their own? I have to open the eyes of others so that my dreams can become reality. Whats a belief, if nobody else believes what you do? An imagination. Soo maybe I am on the right track, just have to ensure everyone has the same fire as I.." he said sounding like an old lecturing man. Tai sure had a way of words, Thats the perk that came with being an activist.

His thoughts dispersed, as she asked him what he did on his free time. He rubbed his facial hair and looked up at the ceiling. Wasn't much to truly do on this ice berg of a village, that's when it hit him. "Well I don't get much company so when I really have nothing to do I just enjoy the celebrations or just lay around in my house." he was more of a busy guy his life included training and trying to complete task to support the community.

Tai seemed to almost absorb the sound of her name for he repeated it no sooner had she mentioned it. "Serenity?" The Fanalis’s new acquaintance asked as he repeated her name in a perhaps thoughtful manner. "Hmm I like it..." Serenity smiled. She was glad. After all, it was the name that had been gifted to her by her clan and it meant a lot to her. "Serenity, 'The Pink Haired Beauty'" He concluded. Her brow raised in a questioning curiosity. It appeared that the nickname would simply stick to her regardless of him now knowing her name. Still, she didn’t mind his small nickname for her and so, hence, she would not say a word in protest to it.  As to whether or not he came to the cafe more often than naught, he would reply with the latter. "I come here rarely, too much time on my hand." Tai said in response. "It just keeps me going for a short period of time." Serenity’s brow furrowed in a pensive manner. It made sense.

Tai then gave an exasperated sigh. She watched him with a small smile of her own as he leaned down against his arm, his chin resting atop the palm of his hands, while his elbow supported the weight of it all. The more that she studied him, the more that she definitely had to admit that he was quite a handsome man. She mimicked him although she tilted her head against her palm in a more pensive look as she continued with studying him. He was rather tall, although not as tall as the Imuchakk race, as well as he was slim. His light brownish colored skin reminded her of caramel and not to mention the goatee he sported wonderfully as well as stylishly. She had already gathered that he was a citizen of Imuchakk, but, if she had met him in another country of those in which she had traveled, she would have never been able to guess that simple fact. Her eyes narrowed in a more observational manner. How old was her? Perhaps in his middle twenties? Younger?

When the waiter finally arrived, her thoughts dispersed as she frantically searched for what she would eat. She did not notice Tai’s annoyance towards the waiter’s impatience until she had finished her order. For, as soon as the server had begun to swiftly head towards the back, Tai flicked a silver coin towards the back of the waiter’s head. The young Fanalis’s eyes widened tremendously as the silver coin made direct contact with the Fanalis which was followed by Tai’s retort. "There's Yah Tip.." He said looking back at the waiter through the corner of his eyes. Serenity blinked for a few seconds, stunned, until a big grin swept across her face. ”You sure are brave to do that.” She said, biting back a chuckle. ”And extremely lucky that he didn’t make his way here.” Her eyes sparkled with amusement. ”After all, the Imuchakks are hard to beat.” It was true, about the Imuchakks. Great warriors and impossible to best them in physical combat unless one had a trick or two up their sleeves.

Tai then asked about her adventures outside of the snowy wonderland which she answered him with delight. It wasn’t until she mentioned the Fanalis Corps that the air around them grew tense. Despite his best efforts, Serenity could see that it was a touchy as well as sore subject for him, causing her to regret ever mentioning it. Still, he said nothing against it and, instead, forced a smile in order to hide his discomfort. She frowned although she definitely knew not to press matters further. "It seems like you had a lot of fun out of Imuchakk." She nodded. "Your stories sound so fascinating," He continued causing her to beam. "Maybe one day we can start a chapter of adventure one day. See all the corners of the earth." Serenity smiled warmly. ”Well, if you ever head off to an adventure, count me in.” She said in reply. After all, traveling in a pair was definitely better than doing so alone.

Tai continued to speak. "I haven't had much journey but it's been rough here yah know? Serenity knew. She had not been in Imuchakk much, but she had already started to hear about the rumors of what had occurred in the icy paradise while she was gone. Still, she said nothing and waited for him to continue. "Just trying to protect my tribe and making sure no avalanches occur again." So the rumors were true. Although, it was strange how one had occurred not long ago. It was shrouded in mystery and could only leave it to those in charge to investigate what had happened. "I have to be strong to protect everyone and set everyone free." His eyes blazed with the flame of determination and courage as he uttered those words. They were powerful and strong, much like his goals would prove to be if she were to ask for his words truly marked the heart and soul of a warrior.

Serenity lifted the newly arrived mocha to her lips and took a sip. After taking a drink of the hot beverage and taking time to slowly enjoying its taste, she would give a small, satisfied sigh before starting to speak. ”You know, I have only known you for no more than half a day yet I already know you’ll definitely accomplish if not pave the way towards your goals.” She was being quite serious as she gazed directly into his eyes. ”Not many have the vision as well as the fire to do what you wish to do.” She gave a slight pause yet her icy gaze would not leave his. ”You’ll definitely go far in life if not have already started down that path.” Her silvery blue eyes then shifted towards her beverage.

Serenity had much to say, but she was a stranger. She had already ‘butted’ in much already even if it was not at all in her place to do so. She sighed as her hands encircled the cup before her as she thought about her life up until this point. What were her goals in life besides finding out where her parents and disappeared off to? Where was she heading besides trying to uncover the truth of her pasts and where she had truly come from and belonged? She was a woman on the go, but no destination ahead. Sure she had been recruited as a spy as well as trained and challenged until she could no more. She had made it to the top, but what was the point of it now? Where would she use her skills an what for? Nothing... That was what. A woman with no direction to go even if she traveled the world. Her eyes saddened. The man in front of her, on the other hand, had the world within his grasp and he knew it. She waved away her thoughts. "So," she finally said at last. "What do you usually do in your free time? With this, she could only hope that their conversation would continue.

Serenity titled her head to the side in growing fascination at the man before her. He appeared carefree and held a sense of humor. Something she truly enjoyed of the man. Her lips curled into a small smile completely unaware of him staring at her. The pink haired woman raised an eyebrow as he shook his head. Was something the matter? "They sure are... But they are nothing compared to Fanalis.." he said with a fascinated look in reply to her comment. Serenity nodded slightly. So he was a fan of the Fanalis? ”It would be an interesting spar, the Fanalis against the Imuchakk.” She replied as she bit her lip in thought. The outcome surely would be an interesting one. As the conversation continued, the discussion seemed to turn away from the direction of small talk and a carefree environment. "I wish it were easy, but what does my goal matter if I know others can't accomplish their own? I have to open the eyes of others so that my dreams can become reality. Whats a belief, if nobody else believes what you do? An imagination. Soo maybe I am on the right track, just have to ensure everyone has the same fire as I.." SHe frowned. ”What matters in the end is that you believe in it,” She finally said. ”That there is someone who truly cares enough to fight for it and keep the flame going. People will turn on a new leaf in time, but change starts with a single person.” The conversation then took another turn. This time to a light hearted one. "Well I don't get much company so when I really have nothing to do I just enjoy the celebrations or just lay around in my house." Serenity nodded slowly in understanding. ”This is one of your free days then?” She wasn’t sure of that Imachukk had to offer, but it did show that there was some distractions. Plus, the company of a new acquaintance and friend.
