Team Bitter sweet and The Sweetly Creepy city! [Ani/Chimera]

The two odd girls who had touched the podiums would find themselves slowly shifting away to a new world. A white mist rolled over them, covering all their senses which left a taste of sweetness in their mouths. The white mist seemed sweet like it was sugar but felt cold like the snow yet also soft like a blanket. Lost inside it with no track of times there bodies were warped to a new location without them noticing it. The white mist rolled away past them slowly revealing the new location, at first they would not notice. Slowly they would come back to their senses after the sweet and comfortable feeling of the mist would leave them. The cold feeling persisted but they were treated to a joyous site in their new location.

They stood in a town square of some sort, there were buildings outside the small combat are in which they stood with a long road leading up to the pair. Standing next to the houses appeared to be wooden statues of guards. They gave no sign of life but it felt as if their eyes were watching them. The city was beautiful, it looked like a place from a child's dream with the beautiful village houses, everything looked right, but everything there felt wrong. It would feel as if everything that was going on there was a farce. The strange feeling would only linger there as there was no real proof.

Above them floated a timer counting down from 120, within this time they would be able to explore the square and look at some of the houses. Soon as the timer counted down it soon struck zero shifting into the words round one signifying the combat would soon begin. As this happened the statues somehow dances and moved as a long clock ringing could be heard.

OOC: There will be no time limit for this post as this is just meant to be an introduction to the area of combat helping to give you a grasp of the area you'll be fighting in. After this every round will be on a normal posting time that will not stop until a break or till the battle is over.

As they were wrapped in the sweet mist Ani was confused looking at Hoyo. It was cold, sweet ,and soft so it was somewhat pleasant to her considering her tastes. Though for the most part it was confusing and the transportation reminded her of the weird transportation she experienced back inside the dungeon. When they appeared in their destination she adjusted her mask somewhat and let out a soft sigh. "What an interesting mess I've ended up in." She said chuckling softly before looking to the girl she came here with. "Well at least I have the company of someone pleasant to look at." She said loud enough to hear as Ani was flirting with her just a little.

Looking around Ani shivered slightly finding this area a little ominous. The feeling she got was definitely different from the appearance of the city. Though what bothered her the most was the timer that was hanging up in the sky. She wasn't sure what was going to happen when it counted down to Zero, but she was going to be ready for when it did. When the clock hit zero and the statues started moving she grit her teeth and looked to her partner. "By the way my names Ani, and this is Hoyo." She said as she got ready to fight whatever would come their way.

Chimera rubbed her limbs to create a little friction to keep herself warm, she was shivering and she didn't have much in terms of cloth or anything to keep her warm. The spriggan woman began to jog in place to activate her body when she heard her ally speak up to her. Chimera, now a bit distracted from weather, took a chance to look at the lady, and there was a strange beast beside her, like something that might come out of a dungeon, but she shrugged, it was no longer her place to question such things. She took a moment before she introduced herself, deciding to stick with her former appellation, "The name's Chimera, but hey, you got any clue what's going on here? Magic?"

Chimera crossed her arms for a moment. She saw a number floating in mid-air, but she was only stunned by the occurrence for a few moments, as it began to tick down, she reacted. Her feet sprinted towards the closest house as she peaked inside of it, wondering just what kind of location they were to battle in. She walked over to the wood statue next to it, touching it with curiosity. Perhaps if Zadi had been with her now, she would feel more confident about the situation, however, Chimera knew nothing of Ani's abilities.

As the clock rang they would hear the sound of marching coming their way. As the looked onward throughout the strange town in which they stood they would see what was creating the strange noise of marching in the distance. There stood a group of 4 men in a set of strange winter clothes. They stood resolute as if they trained soldiers prepared to fight at the drop of a hat, each equipped with a sword on their sides. As they stood there 15m away from their targets they drew their swords as they were showing their will to begin combat immediately, looked on with blank expressions, soulless as if they were dolls doing their jobs.

Two of the soldiers went towards Chimera, one of them leapt into the air above her and began to fall towards her. As he closed in he would use a Pierrot Slash in attempt to slash her head. As that one focused on her from above the one facing her would use a Soldiers Thrust in attempt to make it more difficult for her to attack. And the other two soldiers headed towards Ani ignoring her beast not seeing it as a threat at the moment. They would position themselves to the left and right of her using a Pierot slash cornering her making it hard to move away. Their attacks were coordinated showing how experienced they were as soldiers.

The fighting area is is 100m long and 70m wide with a barrier allowing people to fly only up to 60m into the air and if one tries to leave they will bounce right back, taking D-tier damage.

Enemy:

Seeing the enemies that appeared before them Ani was somewhat shocked by their appearance, but she knew that it didn't matter what they looked like she just needed to take them out so they wouldn't be a threat. She looked to Chimera and nodded softly while Hoyo growled. "Get ready." Ani said as she bit into her lower lip making sure to be prepared for whatever would come next. She stared into their eyes finding the soldiers quite creepy and that it would bring her a little bit of pleasure to take them out. As they began to move forward she shivered slightly from their appearance, but she got ready.

When the soldiers walked past Hoyo and towards her she knew that they made a mistake that would help her out in the long run. She stared at them, but when they began to attack she quickly dropped down trying to dodge the attack, but whether or not she was attacked she thrusted her leg out to attack the soldier on her right. At the same moment she whistled to Hoyo to attack the soldier on the left from behind. Her charged from behind and lashed forward to claw at it.

Chimera enjoyed the Toy Soldiers, even if they were part of the gauntlet. It jumped at her with a slash at the ready to reach her head, as if they knew her weakness. She moved back and just perpendicular of the slash, her hairs just barely escaping the last slash, but the other soldier slashed at her side.

As Chimera ducked, she had an open palm, and rammed it into chest of the toy soldiers chest, disabling it in one strike. 

Her bark-like nails scraped into the chest of the lifeless toy soldier, and threw the corpse into the remaining soldier that had just struck her arm. Even if she could see and feel the pain, it was a lot less than when she was a human.

As the two soliders attacked the blue haired girl she moved too slow so their attacks had managed to land on her. THeir blades struck her arms barely doing any damage only managing to leave small cuts on her arms. She managed to retaliate by kicking the soldier on her right in the chest breaking him apart with a single kick. The large beast tried to come and attack the soldier on the left, he moved fast and would have surprised him if he moved faster he would've been able to hurt the soldier. As the beast headed his way he used a Soldiers Thrust to rush and challenge it, unless he used a stronger attack the reptile would be damaged by the attack.

Chimera was also busy with her own enemies at the moment, she had tried to avoid their attacks but it proved futile. The soldier above her managed to slightly slash the tip of her head doing little damage to it. As she struck upward it hit the warrior in the chest killing it with a single blow showing how weak they are. As she struck this soldier she would find the other one's attack strike her in the shoulder. It would barely hurt her but she slammed it's partner into it. The creature was knocked down leaving it open to be struck by the contenders. They would have to be quick if they wanted to kill it, it would not take long for it to move the body and prepare to attack.

Enemy:

Ani was bothered by the cuts on her arms, but she was quite pleased when she saw that the soldier died from her kick. Turning she saw Hoyo who was getting challenged by the beast. She whistled loudly to command Hoyo to use Lockjaw and attack back. She clenched her teeth looking over to Chimera to see that she had destroyed one and knocked the other one down. Even if she wasn't looking towards her she nodded towards chimera to tell her to finish off the last soldier while she watched Hoyo. She was confident this would be over quickly after seeing how weak they are.

Combat Details: D-tier damage to both arms

Abilities used:

Chimera rubbed the top of her head, as the bark-like hair was ruffled, and distorted. She rubbed her nails along her scalp, feeling a touch of pain. She was happy that she had taken out both of the enemies and looked to Ani and her beast who had chomped down on the enemy. However, as Hoyo finished another Toy Soldier, but after a nod, Chimera looked to the final soldier on the floor, taking a few steps over to it. She brought her foot up, and shoved her heel into its face to finish it off. The shell of the soldiers face, cracking.

"Not bad. A little rougher than I expected, but next round I'll try a little harder. "

As the beast fought against the the toy soldier it would find it's attack clashed, normally the bite by itself wouldn't be enough but managed to harm. The creature was pushed to the ground the bite penetrating through it's wooden body breaking apart from the force. Over to the side the female spriggan pressed her heel against the face of the toy solider, the force started to crack it's face before breaking it to show a hollow inside. It was obvious now that these creatures were definitely magical in nature, how else would something that seemed to be like a puppet move in order to attack them. Things seemed strange as they would hear another clock ding like earlier, the words above changed to round 2 as they moved onto the next wave of enemies.

Again enemies marched towards them coming from the entrance as the stood near them, this time there was only two normal soliders, as they approached by weird ones carrying long weapons. They appeared to be carrying magical guns on their shoulders and as they walked close the all stood 15m away from the pair. At the moment they wouldn't attack but they lowered and aimed their rifles showing that they were prepared to fight when then showed any signs of hostility. The set of toy enemies looked at them with such lifeless eyes, the black orbs that were glassy like obsidian would stare deeply into them. It was unsure whether they could think or not, but one thing was sure, they came here to kill.

The gauntlet will now be 10 waves, you will be rewarded every two rounds now, you will still get the magoi refresh every three rounds.

Enemy:

When they defeated the enemies Ani was a bit excited wondering if they would be able to look around for a bit, but soon enough those hopes were dashed when she saw the next set of enemies. Seeing that they weren't attack Ani walked calmly over to Chimera so it wouldn't seem she was hostile towards them. Once she was close enough to her she leaned in and got her lips close to her ears. "Those other two look like marksman, so we should probably come up with a plan to take them out." She said thinking about it for a minute as she looked towards them. "I can probably hit them all with an attack, but I need you to be ready incase they get away." She stated before stepping so she was only fiver meters away from them all.

Looking at them for a moment Ani closed her eyes Hoyo standing beside her as she channeled her magoi opening her mouth as she activated her magic tool. Opening her mouth she let out a ghastly howl firing at the targets.

Stamina/Magoi: 110/150

Ability used:

Chimera observed the situation, feeling a bit of pleasure from clearing the first round but round 2 was upon her and her allies, Hoyo included. The grazing damage from the last round lingered as pain stung her side and her head.

She had no choice but to be careful, particularly with her skull as it was her weak point. It was at this time where Ani had hinted at a strategy. Chimera saw the two new soldier types with a long barreled weapon. The long hollow barrel clearly indicated it was for melee but she hadnt seen a weapon quite like it. It had the traits of a cross bow minus the bow. 

Chimera nodded, it would only make sense to deal with the ranged users first since they could easily provide support to their melee counter parts. As Ani moved up to cast her sonic spell, Chimera began to flank to the side of the area running circularly with the new targets in her sight, continuing if her target hadnt been downed by the scream.

Fwap! After closing in on the target from an angle, her first instinct was to let out a full-speed bitchsmack with a little hop to reach her enemys face.

As the girl let out her attacks they prepared to protect themselves in someway, the would each use an ice bomb. T Hey would throw their bombs at the wave of sound causing them to erupt and clash with the attack. The sound distributed through of the wave but since it was not conglomerated into one point and spread the only weakened the attack. The wave of sound consumed the marksmen killing the both of them. It broke apart their bodies in an instant but they still had to deal with the toy soldiers who stood there also, for they had managed to come up with a plan to escape the attacks. The soldiers use a leap to move backwards in order to avoid the attack, and as they were in the outskirt of the attack all the had to do was simply step backwards in order to avoid it. As they had managed to avoid the attack they now stood a little past the sound waves range.

While not noticing the girl who seemed to be plant like in nature one of the soldiers would find them selves getting surprised by her coming from the side. As she would bring her hand towards the creature it would throw up it's arm in attempt try and block her attack but it would break off the toy warriors arm with ease. In order to try and get revenge for his lost arm he would try to attack the girl with a basic slash. It would be preoccupied with her, his partner would be standing there making sure to keep an eye on the girl with the pet and the be prepared to join in and help his partner whenever.

Marksmen: Both Dead

Solider A: Lost arm, attack chimera with basic attack

Enemy:

Upon taking out the marksman Ani was quite pleased after all her new ability proved useful with the added bonus that this was her first time she got to try it on a living target. Clicking her tongue as she saw that the soldiers were fine she was a bit pleased to see that Chimera took out her arm successfully. Her first thought was to assist Chimera, but instead she started to walk forward motioning for Hoyo to walk behind the target while she tried to gain its attention. Her plan was to attack from both sides and take him out, but first she watched to see what he planned. Though eventually she decided to attack.

Walking towards it she launched her fist forward planning to punch him while Hoyo ran from behind to attack with a body slam. Hopefully one of their attacks would land and defeat the enemy.

Stamina: 100/150

Abilities used:

Chimera was into the heat of the moment and used her left arm as her once wooden arm was now covered in overlapping scales, much harder than before. Her right arm quickly intercepted the blade with ease. The deflection creating another opening for her as she went full-force with Left Lion Paw. Her palm, once wooden, became more life-like. The wood deforming to that of a beasts claw, larger in size as she smacked the toy soldiers head, only to turn back and see her ally having made short work of the final enemy with her pet, leaving the female Spriggan quite impressed.

Ability:

As the pair began to charge the soldier he was confused on who he should attempt to protect himself first. It decided the biggest threat was the beast since it seemed like it's attack would hold more power to it and would try to protect himself from the girl after blocking the attack. He would use a Pierrot slash in attempt to clash, the spinning warrior slashed which collide with the beast's body. The slash stopped the moment holding the beast to stop but the warrior held it back with it's blade in order to stop it from attack further. It was focused on stopping the beast and this made the toy solider lose his focus on the surrounding environment, forgetting about the blue haired girl that was heading towards him. The force of the attack managed to crush his body, it cracked and splinter before finally breaking apart, broken and fallen to the ground the Imuchakk had won the battle.

On the other hand the female spirggan would find her hands full with the one that she had to face, thankfully the warrior was smart. The blade had clashed with her arm, it held back the attack giving the girl a chance to finish it off. As the enemy literally became a handful the wooden solider was approved by the slapping claw tearing it apart. The wooden body was broken, bits and pieces littering the area of combat. They would feel a slight relief as they had managed to finish the enemies with some ease, above the counter had signified that they moved onto round 3.

But a new wave meant a new challenge would show itself, marching forward this time was a set of four marksmen, they each stood 3m apart. They would stand 15m behind the blue haired women holding their rifles out and prepared to fight at an moments, they would look and examine. Being patient the soliders would wait for them to attack before they would attempt to make any moves on their own.

Marksmen A&B&C&D: 15m behind Ani stand 3m apart

Spoiler:

The spriggan woman headed towards her ally. They had made it to the next round once more. Everything seemed to be going well for them, but it was clear that things were getting more difficult. The toy soldiers were changing with the round progression and her intuition lead her to believe the next round would be considerably more difficult.

Fortunately, this round the toy marksmen were staying still. Chimera began to strut her walk 'til she made it to Ani, observing the soldiers. She refused to make any sudden movements unless the soldiers did, getting as close as 2 meters from one, when she finally unleashed her Slaver's Whipcrack. Her hair uncoiled in a fraction of a second and slashed out at all four soldiers with the full 15 meter length of her ability, attempting to knock them all out in one shot.

Stamina:150/200

Ability:

When the second round had ended Ani let out a soft sigh hoping that whatever this situation was would end soon, or at least prove to be interesting. One thing she knew for sure was that this wasn't going to get easier for her at all, but in fact that this would get worse for her and Chimera the longer they were able to survive, though this was mostly intuition speaking. When Chimera was standing next to Ani she gave her a slight nod before giving one to Hoyo. She was going to watch Chimera's movements and decide what to do based on that.

As she saw Chimera getting closer she motioned for Hoyo to circle around the side. He walked cautiously behind the marksmen. Seeing Chimera's attack she got ready to command Hoyo to attack depending on if her attack would hit.

Stamina/magoi:100/150

Upon impact of the girls arm the soliders faces would crack, chipping and breaking from the pure force of the attack. Her hand cleanly smashed through their heads destroying them without a chance of survival. Their bodies simply collapsed after their heads were destroyed, falling to the ground with the other dead. The enemy had been over powered with ease, despite being in a group it proved useless against the superior warrior. With the round of enemies defeated they would feel a sense of accomplishment. It also felt as if their bodies were rejuvenated, a warm aura had encompassed their bodies as if they had rested well and had a full meal. Above the new round had started, this one would prove to be more difficult, as they would use numbers again but this time they would hopefully overpower them. Marching forward was a set of three marksmen with two soliders infront of them. They would spread out in an Arc standing 15m in front of chimera spread out 3m from one another, the soliders would stand still but all three marksmen would shoot an ice bomb at Chimera.

Enemy:

When the round was over Ani was feeling a little fatigued and thought that this was going to eventually drain her of all of her energy. It was then that she felt herself being refreshed by some sort of wave. This made her feel pretty great, but she knew that she should steel be careful with what she does since she didn't know if that replenishing wave would come back again, or if it would be of the same strength. She was sure by how things had been going that eventually a new wave would start and that they would soon enough be in battle once again.

Soon she was proven right seeing the enemies coming out. She stood five feet in front her partner ready to attack as soon as possible. When she saw that they were attacking Ani attacked on impulse letting out a ghastly howl to attack all the enemies that were in front of them.
