When the magician placed his hand on the podium he would feel himself being whisked away to another location at high speeds. His vision was blurred sound muffled as if he was moving as one with the strong winds, as if he was no longer solid. In a matter of minutes he would find himself slightly slowing down while the rest of the winds persisted, raging on until he would stop at his place of arrival. Zadi would land on the ground a bit harshly but still able to stand look around to examine the area in which he had arrived for combat, for he had arrived at a true battlefield.

He stood in an icy plain with large icy rocks strewn across the area, but these were not the only bizarre things that littered the zone. All around were swords, spears, bows and all manner of broken or damaged weapons decorating the scenery as if there was a war. Besides the weapons though there was no other signs that a battle had been raged here, no bodies, armor, or even supplies that were left behind. It was as if the weapons were left here purposely but most of them were in poor condition and weren't suitable for combat. And even stranger high above in the sky there were floating numbers which began at 120 counting down by the second as if leading to something.

With time to do what he pleased he could wander the endless expanse but only to a certain degree for there was a barrier of magic keeping him from leaving by normal means. As the clock ticked it would soon run out and the winds would finally stop very a brief moment. The floating numbers in the sky would slowly shift to the words round 1 with enemies to soon appear. He would have to prepared as the aura of bloodlust flooded the battlefield.

OOC: There will be no time limit for this post as this is just meant to be an introduction to the area of combat helping to give you a grasp of the area you'll be fighting in. After this every round will be on a normal posting time that will not stop until a break or till the battle is over.

After touching the podium like a mindless, sleep deprived zombie, Zadi was blown away by the wind. However, what Zadi only realized moments later was that he, too, became the very wind that pushed him towards a specific location the likes of which Zadi had never seen. The wind howled with Zadi a part of it though eventually stopped, for Zadi at least, and continued on in search of another location, probably. Zadi was left behind on a barren, graveyard-esque, snow covered, rocky location.

"I've got a feeling that I'll be one of these swords soon..."

Zadi didn't know what may happen next, but the countdown in the sky indicated something would truly happen, whether Zadi wanted it to or not. All Zadi could do was walk around, looking at all the poor weapons stuck in the ground, probably to represent the fallen warriors of a bloody battle. How long ago, Zadi couldn't properly tell. The snow and rock coupled with the occasional gust of wind probably worked on most of the rust the weapons have on them. So much as touching a weapon would cause it to break where the rust was the strongest, snapping most weapons that Zadi tried to pull out in two. All the same, the number in the sky was rather ominous, especially when it ended, leaving bloodlust lingering across the air of the battlefield...

As the bloodlust rolled over covering the magician the ground started to unearth as bodies climbed out of the ground. They appeared to be undead, their skin clinging to the bones with sunken eyes. There was wounds covering their bodies and signs of frostbite from being out in the cold combat zone, they appeared to be undead warriors. They limbered forwardly very slowly from their frozen joints but as they walked towards the mage they each picked up. The rusted blades may have seemed broken but the creatures did not care in the slightest, they just had the urge to attack him, and they would begin their assault by encircling him.

They each stood 10m apart from him, one to his right one to his left and the last one standing right infront of him. The ones on the side would charge at the mage with their swords in hand and when they got within striking distance of him they would use Groggy slash in attempt to deal damage to him, As a safety measure the one in front stood guard, if they man attempted to run away from the attacks then he would use Toss to throw his shield at the mage but if not then he would wait for the next attack to come his way.

The bloodlust filling the arena ended up having a source, three zombie-like beings unearthed themselves around Zadi, grabbing nearby rusty swords and aligning themselves around Zadi, leaving Zadi's back open to escape. However, These creatures seemed easy enough to handle.

The two zombies to Zadi's sides, one left and one right, charged for Zadi. Zadi was able to fire of four groups of C-tier lasers using Kythr Alyzr at 25 m/s; one laser for the zombie on the left, one for the right, and two for the Zombie in front of Zadi that didn't seem to move. Zadi didn't know the full capabilities of the undead warriors, so perhaps the lasers wouldn't be enough. Thankfully Zadi's borg was ready for any attack made by a rusty sword or three...unless the swords were deceivingly strong. Only time would tell Zadi if his decision to only fire lasers was right.

The lasers collided with the slash of the swords taking the draugr off guard. The light collided with their blades, they sliced through but it was almost as if they had collided with another sword, they felt the force as it pushed back their blades. It looked like light to them but it acted as if it was solid. It was strange and usual which surprised them, they each stepped back 5m very cautiously in response so that they could play it safe. They still needed to kill him so in retaliation they both used a toss in attempt for a pincer attack. Sure they would lose their shield but it surely put him in some sort of bind. Their gazes staring down at the mage. They would stare intently as if trying to piece his soul, their eyes reverberating darkness, they had no signs of souls in their bodies.

The Draugr who stood his guard in front of Zadi saw the extra lasers come towards him and put up his shield using Sleepy stop. The force of the lasers pressed against the shield but he made sure to keep it up to block the incoming attack. His block was only enough to make sure the attack hadn't harmed him. It wanted to be cautious and protect itself so it stood it's ground watching ahead. It would let it's teammates take care of him, it would join in to finish him off if their attacks were effective.

Zadi didn't expect all the creatures to come out unscathed. This put a bit of a damper on Zadi's mood which prompted him to use sneaky tactics to kill the creatures. While the side-most creatures were still staggering and the shield was blocking the view of the frontal creature, Zadi activated Slow Bro and moved between the left and front zombies. The magician made sure to only step of areas that weren't covered in snow, specifically rocks and rocky surfaces. If Zadi left a trail of footprints in the snow, things wouldn't get any better than standing in place.

Because Zadi activated Slow Bro and wasn't able to move faster than 15 m/s, his image stood still. If the zombie's dind't notice anything off about Zadi's image, then they would continue their attacks and either clash with each other or the shields would slip past each other and damage the zombies opposite each other, the left and right zombies. However, Zadi could care less as he had to concentrate on the frontal zombie while making sure not to leave a trail to follow. Zadi made his way between the left and front zombie, aiming closer towards the front zombie in an attempt to stab it in the back.

If Zadi got behind the only zombie that didn't attack Zadi up to this point in time, the frontal zombie, then Zadi would unsheathe Rukh Slayer, meticulously making sure not to make a sound, and stabbed the undead being. Zadi didn't know if smell was a factor, but at the same time, Zadi couldn't do anything about his smell. Not that Zadi smell particularly different than any human, but he probably smelled 'human' all the same. Anyway, smell had to be taken up by chance at this point. All that Zadi could do was hope that his basic stab would do the trick.

Whether the frontal zombie was defeated or not didn't matter as Zadi continued his meticulous steps towards the right-most zombie. If things when well, then Zadi would basic stab the right zombie. Even if that didn't work out and Zadi was still unnoticed, he would move, cautiously, towards the left-most zombie, get behind it, and basic stab it, too. That is, if the right and left zombies weren't already taken out by each others' tossed shields. As with the frontal zombie, this basically all hinged on whether the undead had a sense of smell capable of picking up the human smelling Zadi.

As the magician had activated his spell the shields had each managed to strike him dealing C-tier damage to each arm. They no longer had their shields. Since it appeared that he wasn't moving the the draugrs they stood there wondering how he would react but he just stood his ground causing them to wonder what would happen next. The one in the center had a blade puncture his chest killing it instantly. The others wondered but they did not have their shields in hand so they would not be able to protect themselves from his oncoming attacks. As this happened they would wait till he moved, the wondered how they killed their teammate but it was possibly because of his magic.

As he killed the other one leaving it to where there was only one of them around. He had no idea how the mage was capable of killing them like this when he could not see them. It flailed it's sword around trying to hit whatever might try to harm it but it proved out to be futile in the ends. The magicians blade sunk into it's back piercing the skin killing the creature instantly. It' already dead body fell to the ground. He had managed to wipe out all of the draugr, and as he did so the words round one slowly shifted into the words round 2 showing that he had managed to move onto the next round.

As the round changed a new wave of enemies would appear for him to fight. Two draugrs like the ones before had managed to raise from the ground but at the same time a third different one had popped out of the ground. It was one like them but this one carried a bow with it, now they managed to have some range to assist them with the fight.

Zadi wasn't as quick to react to the tossed shields as he thought, but because he didn't want his borg to be damaged, his two shoulders were damaged instead. Noticeable bruising ensued underneath his clothes while Zadi was attacking round one's enemies. It really hurt Zadi, but he pulled through and defeated round one's zombies, now facing his image from 5 meters away.

Zadi caught only a glimpse of the words "round two" in the sky as he was focused on the new enemies popping up from the ground, 20 meters from his current position and 15 meters from his image. Zadi sustained Slow Bro in order to keep his image in the same place. It wasn't facing the new zombies, but at least it could keep those new zombies distracted.

From Zadi's last encounter, the magician learned that the zombies weren't great detectors of quiet things. Having sustained Slow Bro, Zadi continued to believe that distractions would keep him from getting anymore damage dealt to his person while allowing for efficient killing, sort of. The zombies already seemed dead, just moving corpses. Anyway, keeping quite and cautious like last time, Zadi made his way past his image and around the zombies. Zadi's steps touch only the rocks and rock surfaces in order to keep a trail from forming.

The zombies popped up relatively close to each other this time. The most imminent threat was the archer zombie due to his long range. However, if Zadi messed up when approaching the backside of the zombies, the close range zombies could just as easily injure Zadi. After some deliberation on the matter, while also moving around towards the backsides of the zombies, Zadi decided that it would be best to attack the archer zombie first and subsequently work his way through from there.

Having taken meticulous steps around and eventually behind the zombies, Zadi was now only a meter behind the archer zombie. Zadi did a basic stab towards the back of the archer zombie, hopefully felling it much like the previous victims. Whether Zadi's attack towards the archer zombie worked or not, he would need to keep moving in order to stay out of sight and therefore continued on to the sword wielding zombies. First the one to Zadi's left using a basic stab and then a basic stab towards the final zombie, whether or not the left zombie was defeated. Zadi continued to make meticulous steps, even when slaying a zombie. Never know what may require hiding in the future. Oh, and Zadi made sure not a fart, too. Smell didn't seem to be a factor with the first round, but farts were definetly not something smart during stealthy encounters.

Zadi's attacks worked out splendidly. The zombies, much like last time, didn't notice Zadi and went into a useless frenzy when there was only one zombie left. If zombies continued to show up like this, then it would be easy for Zadi to move through the rounds. However, Zadi's spell, Slow Bro, wouldn't be very helpful without enemies around anymore, so he deactivated it after slaying the zombies. Hopefully the next battle continued to involved fashion-deaf zombies, for lack of a better phrase. They may be undead, but such a situation doesn't excuse poor fashion choice! Anyway, Zadi waited for the next round.

Zadi got pretty bored waiting for the next wave of enemies, likely zombies, to show their ugly mugs. The magician got so bored, in fact, that he started to stare into the sky and noticed more odd lettering and number, like when that countdown occurred. Zadi must have defeated more enemies than he originally thought because he say the phrase "Round 3" turn into "Round 4". The zombies, or whatever the next enemy would have been, must have died from frost bite while hibernating in the ground. After all, when snow covers rocky ground, the ground actually become colder than the air. However, that was just an assumption on Zadi's part as he couldn't know if this was a resting round or simply luck. Either which way, Zadi continued to wait, still making sure not to create any footprints in the snow, or anywhere else that could leave a trail. Never know what may or may not happen.

OOC: I'd rather not be forgotten. There are also a few other Gauntlet threads that haven't been posted within for a while now. I understand the difficulty in posting for this event as Proxy while also maintaining IC status and other events, but this is getting tiresome. Same goes for Hohotaro not posting for the Labyrinth and Xavier not posting for the tournament. If these events are just too much to handle, why start or join them in the first place? Anyway, I should have waited another 24 hours in order to cool my head about this inactivity, but I can't seem to legitimately cool down unless I've had at least a paragraph's worth of a rant. I know this is hypocritical on my part so don't be afraid to tell me what-for and punch me if you ever see me or my character, such as the chatbox or IC.

One by one the draugr dropped as the magician had managed to sink his blades into the flesh of the undead creatures, piercing through killing them one by one. They all fell to the ground, their bodies sinking back into the ground as if the earth was accepting them back. He had managed to make it through the second wave of enemies and as a result above him the words shifted into round three. It was strange though, it was like the enemies weren't going to show themselves now that the new round had started, The man just sat there waiting but there was no sign of enemies coming at any point so it was strange , soon above the timer shifted to the word round 4. It was unclear what had happened to the monsters, it was possible that they had died but he would never know the truth. As three rounds had been completed the man would feel refreshed, as if lost energy had been replenished,

While he sat there the new wave of enemies would appear, they popped up on opposite sides of the man as if they had been planning a way to take down the man. Behind him stood two archer draugrs who stood 25m away as they stood 2m away from one another. Then popping up on the sides of him were two more draugr knights, they each stood 15m away on his sides but they were prepared to fight the man. At first the knights would just stand there and watch him, one would use an Arrow Pin while his partner would attempt to use a groggy shot to hurt him. They snarled as they unleashed their arrows, the soared through the air ripping through the sky making a howling sound. It was lucky the man had more energy as these things proved they had no idea of going easy on the man that rested here.

More zombies came out of the ground, this time four in total rather than the typical three. Glancing quickly, Zadi noticed that the zombies to his sides were the recurring 'warrior' class zombies while two 'archer' class zombies took positions behind Zadi. The snarls alerted Zadi of the archers' presences, allowing Zadi take quick steps out of the way of the arrows, specifically stepping towards his left, the archers' right. The arrows were thin and shot from afar, allowing Zadi's dodge to be successful. In the meantime, Zadi grabbed Dream Infiltrator and cast Horror's Soul. The positions weren't favorable for Zadi to use any operable Warp Magic spell, so all he felt he could do was immobile his four targets with the massive abomination construct.

In fact, Horror's Soul was so massive in scale that it reached that Zadi felt creating it in front of himself would allow for the archer to be immobilized instantly, simply from the creation of the construct. Obviously the construct would race after any archer that tried to get away. Once the archers were immobilized, Zadi had Horror's Soul move towards the warrior on his left followed by the warrior on his right. While Horror's Soul immobilized the two warriors, Zadi jogged towards the two archers and eventually made two stabs, one for each archer zombie, using Rukh Slayer.

Whether Zadi downed the two archers or not, he would move onto the warrior zombies. At this point, Horror's Soul would have likely immobilized them, too, leaving Zadi with easy work again. Zadi would reach one zombie and stab is, much like with the archers, and continue on towards the other zombie warrior, stabbing it, too. Rukh Slayer continued to be used in order to defeat all these zombies. Seriously, Zadi felt like renaming it "Zombie Slayer" at this point. Anyway, Zadi made sure Horror's Soul never touched the magician. Being immobilized would put this fight in quite the stalemate.

As the massive cloud of magic had appeared with the flick of a wrist the archers would find themselves instantly consumed in it. Their vision clouded by it, their minds beginning to be warped by the massive spell.. The cloud then swooped by as the warriors saw it, the one to the left of Zadi being consumed by it also, this left only the one on his right side left. He saw how big the attack was and knew he couldn't protect himself from it so the zombie tried to run, but the attack proved too fast. As it caught up with his foots steps slightly touching his heels before the cloud shrouded over him like it had the others before. When they had been struck by the attack they began to see things, things from their pasts . It was of their lives before they were mindless zombies only meant to kill. Their past fears flooded their mind, consuming what little thought process they had, they just stood there making terrified groans. In this current state they would be unable to move, this would allow the magician a chance to kill the creatures.

One by one their bodies were pierced by the blades, no blood poured out yet the blade pierced their undead flesh and organs killing them. Their bodies dropped, as they watched in unsuspecting fear which would be the cause of their demise. While the zombies had managed to be killed the magician had managed to prove himself in combat once again but it was time for his next round to start. The round timer above his head slowly shifted to show that he had made it to round 5, the halfway point for the battle had finally arrived. And to start of a new round of combat he would find himself confronted with a new type of enemy to make things more interesting, it was like some sort of trial maybe for making it this far. Rising out of the ground appeared a massive draugr ranging about 5m tall carrying a massive club in his right hand, he was 15m away from Zadi but this would not stop him from trying to attack as soon as he could. The behemoth ran towards the man with all of his might, every single step he took caused the earth to shake it seemed, and once he was in striking distance he would use a thundering strike, his club heading down towards the magician with great force.

With the four zombies defeated, Zadi looked up at the sky to see if the round number would change. Indeed it did was the four turned into a five. Seems that Zadi was doing pretty well for himself. However, not knowing the number of "rounds" worried him. Zadi wouldn't guess as he stayed focused looked around for the new enemies to show up.

An unbelievably late zombie appeared out of the ground, specifically twice or so as large as the other zombies! With such a large build, the raw power output of such a monster would surely crush Zadi in one fatal swing. Thankfully, Zadi was positioned near the sustained Horror's Soul. The zombie may have been quite quick for its size, but Horror's Soul was much quicker and trumped the large zombie, hopefully immobilizing it in the process. Zadi wasn't touched by Horror's Soul. The abominable cloud was far enough away from Zadi when taking care of the zombie.

Anyway, with the zombie immobilized, hopefully, Zadi took a could steps closer. Being within striking distance of Rukh Slayer, Zadi did just that and struck the behemoth with a single stab. However, unlike the other zombies, the larger one didn't fall with just a single strike. Therefore, Zadi stabbed again using Rukh Slayer, hopefully taking down the giant this time around. Meanwhile, Horror's Soul vanished into thin air like a regular cloud before Zadi did what he did. The spell was tough to use for longer periods of time, if not impossible. Granted, this would all only work out if the zombie was somehow unable to respond to Horror's Soul in time.

As the pink haired man prepared to attack the draugr saw him stat to create something as he sustained his attack from before. As the cloud of nightmare magic had been created the giant monster would sue a groggy slam causing a shock wave which would push it away slightly but it was stronger after all. In order to protect himself from the rest of the attack he would use A thundering strike to hit the rest of the attack clashing with it. The club went through the cloud, the force causing what he hit to be pushed away by the force of the attack managing to keep himself safe from the immobilizing move. The draugr had used up a great deal of energy to stop the mans attack and would be more open to attacks at the moment.

Since the large beast had already used two of his techniques now, he had one more hidden from the man but that was used for defense. He needed to try and deal damage to the man nonetheless, he would run with great force towards the man holding his club high above his head keeping it in striking position. He would wait until the man was in striking distance and would swing with all of his might aiming to crush the magicians head with a single blow. His attack was weaker than what he had used before, this would give the magician a chance to overpower the monster. It was a creature of strength so depending on how the man went about his attacks he could outsmart it and kill it. That was assuming that it wouldn't be able to win the fight with nothing but it's strength against the magicians magic.

The giant zombie was able to defeat Zadi's horrid cloud, but seemed to be exhausting its most powerful attacks. If the zombie had a more powerful attack to use, then Zadi felt the zombie would have used said attack against the monstrous cloud. Anyway, Zadi prepared himself by dropping Dream Infiltrator and grabbing Knight's Defender. With Rukh Slayer still in his right hand, Zadi was ready for when the hulk swung its wooden club. Zadi didn't feel he needed anything but his shield to block the attack, doing so by holding his shield in between the club and Zadi's head. The simple block would have to suffice due to Zadi's focus on a counterattack.

Zadi would hopefully be able to block the zombie's swing using Knight's Defender and meanwhile stab the zombie in the abdomen using Rukh Slayer, which was about head level for Zadi. With or without Rukh Slayer logged within the giant zombie's abdomen, Zadi followed up with a horizontal slash towards the zombie's left. If Zadi's earlier stab was successful, then the slash would have started with Rukh Slayer still in the zombie's abdomen. If not, then the slash was a regular one across the zombie's abdomen, dealing only half the damage necessary to slay the giant thing. Hopefully the stab and slash combo worked, otherwise Zadi was left with only the slash for the time being.

As the sword struck down on the shield there was a ringing sound that reverberated through the area. The shield the man had brought out was strong enough to withstand the blow of the shield but it would require a decent amount of strength to stop it. The wizard would feel the attack throughout his entire body but despite this he was able to sink his blade into the large zombie's body. Blood poured out spilling over the blade in small amounts but this was not enough to kill the monster, he would lift his hands in attempt to try and strike his but it was in vain. The blade sliced across his body cutting and slicing through his most vital of organs, soon massive amounts of a gooey black blood was gushing out of his body. The behemoth collapsed onto his knees and started to fall, As the creature's large body had struck the ground it let out a large thud and the sound of a bell rang. Above his head he would see the words change to round 6, he had managed to get past the halfway point.

The magician had made it this far, he wouldn't be able t know how many rounds there would be until above a giant image appeared before him. Above he would see the cloaked figure that he first would've saw when he entered the gauntlet, he wouldn't be able to get a look at their face but it started to speak. The voice sounding a mix between masculine and feminine, seemingly in an excited voice. It tingled with anticipation, if the magician looked closely under the hood he would see it's moving mouth showing a creepy and gnarled smile.

"Congratulation for making it this far my fine young man, you are the first to make it too and past the half way point. As you have managed to make it past the fifth round, there are ten rounds in total and I can't wait to see how you do against them my fine young man. I hope you put up a valiant fight, before i go do you have remarks oh young magician?"

The man would have a chance to respond to the hooded figure or give some comments, after he said what he wanted the figure would disappear. It seemed strange, it would leave a foreboding feeling, however the man felt all depended on his opinions but it was sure that there was an eerie vibe in the air.

Zadi's shield was able to block the hulk's attack, so well in fact that Zadi's initial stab and subsequent slash finished off the giant, undead creature successfully! Black blood gushed and then slowly oozed out of the cut area, somewhat spritzing on Zadi's clothes, shield, and covering Rukh Slayer. Zadi inspected the ooze and found its consistency to be like congealed blood, yet black and cold in nature. Zadi proceeded to try and taste it to get a feel for the zombie's past, but was interrupted by the mysterious figure that told Zadi to touch the podium not too long ago.

While the figure was talking, Zadi proceeded to sheathe Rukh Slayer, strap Knight's Defender to his back, and grab Dream Infiltrator, slinging the rifle on his back. Zadi's wand stayed where it's been this entire time, his left hand. The wand was and still is thin enough to be able to hold other items in conjunction. Anyway, Zadi continued to listen to the mysteriously ominous figure, trying to truly understand everything that's been going on. Unfortunately, there was no obvious reason why Zadi is fighting to begin with. Zadi couldn't even ask a question for the figure would only allow for a single comment. Doing what he could to please his 'master', Zadi just said, "There sure are a LOT of undead creatures here."

The figure disappeared, leaving Zadi alone in this mysterious world without any further answers. In his place, two Plague Hounds trotted out, 12 meters between them, appearing through a smoggy cloud of spores and infection. The Hounds appeared to be in sync, even their paws moving at the same time as they came into view, but Zadi would not have much time to examine them as they came within 17 meters of him before the Hound on his left would use Scramble, taking advantage of the speed boost to push him close to the magician. Once close enough, the Hound would bite down on the magician’s arm.  The other Hound would let the first take the brunt of the attention, waiting until the first Hound was within 5 meters of Zadi before using Infecting Spit to sneeze a glob of green saliva towards Zadi. If it hit what it was aiming for, the glob would immediately begin infecting and rotting the magician’s skin.

Plague Hound A: Using Scramble to move from 17 meters into melee range and attempting to perform a basic bite.
Plague Hound B: Remaining at 17 meters away and using Infecting Spit once Hound A is within 5 meters of Zadi.

The mysterious figure left without a word, leaving Zadi with two, somewhat new gifts. Zombie-like canines that looked to be built and quite large compared to the average dog came out of a zombie-like fog, if that makes sense, and didn't give Zadi time to formulate a decent plan of attack. After all, the melee hound just shot straight towards Zadi from an already small distance while the other took even less time to attack Zadi using some spit-like substance. Both attacks were rather cheap, to say the least, but survival of the fittest meant adding in some sneak attacks every now and then, like Zadi and his Warp Magic.

Anyway, the undead hounds' appearance and subsequent attack gave Zadi only enough time to grab his shield and hold it in a ready position to defend, Rukh Slayer to the right of and behind Knight's Defender. Knight's Defender blocked the melee hound's bite, dulling the shield even more. Meanwhile, Zadi's borg blocked the ranged hound's spit for Zadi didn't want his shield to be dulled any further in this battle. With the defending taking place, Zadi quickly used Slow Bro, took two slashes towards the melee hound, and started hopping on rocks and rocky surfaces around the melee hound and straight ahead in an eventual arc towards the ranged hound.

The hopefully silent hopping would continue until Zadi was behind and close enough to slash twice at the ranged hound. The two slashes towards the melee hound didn't have to hit for Zadi to start hopping on rocks, mostly because the ranged hound was the real target for obvious reasons. Granted, Zadi didn't know if the two hounds had separate abilities and skills, but at least the magician's borg was still active. Hopefully the undead hounds had as good a sense of smell and hearing as the previous undead creatures did, otherwise Zadi would be forced to resort to a direct approach.

The first hound bit down on the shield bending it slightly, trying to break the defense it would find itself in harm. The blade of the magician drove into his neck twice slicing cleanly through it's veins. A glob of nasty green blood oozed out, looking rotten and filled with disease as it touched against the ground. With the first hound defeated the other would be more prepared for fighting the mage. It had seemed he had cast some sort of spell but all the hound could see was a standing image of the man back in it's previous place. The animal could smell something, it gave off the scent of the magician so it was moving it seemed. In order to be cautious the canine would Scramble forward in order to get close and check things out. It sniffed the image which gave no scent, the animal was unsure but it seemed like it was staring at a false image. The creature would keep it's distance and senses sharp while it waited. If it heard anything or smelled anything get close enough it would release a Green cloud in order to damage them.

Zadi was about to strike the only hound left when said hound suddenly dashed towards Zadi's image, much like the melee hound had done. The hound seemed bewildered by the odorless 'thing' within its field of vision. The canine could, however, understand that the image of Zadi was not 'real' in the sense that the image would attack, or even more for that matter. Zadi got a little irritated that his Warp Magic was a dud in this situation. Zadi would need to start using a different strategy if all the creatures from now on would be undead canines.

Anyway, with Zadi's Warp Magic having failed, he didn't sustain the spell yet stayed in his current position. However, upon deactivation of his Warp Magic spell, Zadi shot forth a single, powerful Kthyr Alyzr in an attempt to completely overwhelm the undead-like creature. The A-tier grouping of lasers would likely trump what Zadi has seem from the hound thus far, so he didn't bother casting another ability.

Zadi's attack worked as the last visible hound became ashes on the ground it stood upon. However, Zadi knew that he was roughly halfway through with these ordeals, hopefully. Judging by the appearance of the mysterious figure, Zadi was doing pretty good on his own. Unfortunately, Zadi didn't feel he could actually keep going for another few rounds if the enemies kept getting tougher and smarter at the same time.

To Zadi's fortune, he felt his magoi and stamina replenish slightly. Probably enough to get past two more rounds, definitely one. Though Zadi felt physically fit, his arms were still sore from the ever present bruises on both his arms from the shields that were thrown his way not too long ago. Zadi kept his shield and wand in his left hand while the sword kept firm in the left hand. All that needed to be done now was wait for more enemies, likely zombies, to show up.

As the wizard sat there the new set of enemies would appear before him, they would crawl out of the ground and prepare to walk. The round timer would signify that it was the start of the 7th round and things would be getting more difficult. Behind him at 15m there was a plague hound standing there in preparation to attack him when it got the chance. Then standing 14m across from the wizard would be a behemoth like before. Now not only were there two powerful enemies again but there was one with colossal strength and one that was incredibly fast. It would prove to be a struggle for the magician but it was just another chance to prove himself.

With the new enemies as close as they are, Zadi didn't have much of a choice; Zadi decided to fire off two powerful item abilities in order to subdue his new targets! Zadi simply touched Dream Infiltrator, fed it magoi, and fired off a bullet of nightmares towards the behemoth zombie. The bullet started off from Zadi's chest and continued towards the hulk at a speed of 25 m/s.

The second ability came from Spriggan's Call. A wooden butler came shooting form from the ring at 25 m/s, much like a projectile. However, unlike a simple projectile, the summon would have free movement according to Zadi's will. Unfortunately, Zadi couldn't focus on two enemies at once on opposite sides so the wooden butler would have to act like a simple projectile and just ram into the undead hound.

With these two A-tier attacks launched at the fashionably inept, Zadi would likely not need to rely on his borg, much less his sword and shield. Nonetheless, Zadi kept his shield held close facing the behemoth and his sword pointed at the hound.
