Buttdoodle's Gruesome Battle!!! [Garret/Ari]

They would notice their bodies feeling chilled, being teleported from the podium to their location they would feel as if their bodies were drifting through the wind. Free as if they were one with the snow that fell from the leak and lifeless sky. The time in which they arrived to their combat location was short, but it felt as if they were slowly settling there, as if there were forming instead of being simply transported there. Looking around they would take in the desolate look of the place in which they had arrived, very different from the vast snowy area where they began. The last location was one of a battlefield, where many had died but this, this was a place where living creatures were never supposed to survive.

They stood atop a massive rock pillar shooting high into the sky, it had a thin layer of snow covering the ground. So high up that cloud rolled by the pair enveloping them but then moving past. The air so frail and thin, it was as if normal people could not breathe up here but the two of them would feel fine as if something was providing them with enough oxygen. Looking over the sides of the massive pillar they would see what was below. Down was what seemed to be an endless expanse with ground nowhere in sight. The only noticeable things were birds circling down below and a stench of death. They had no idea of knowing but the area they were sent to was determined on their combat strentgh. Two people overwhelming with raw power, and because of this they were given a area that wreaked of despair. They would have to prove they were the strong enough to overcome the obstacles that were here, that they could even overcome the most fearsome challenge possible.

They would also soon notice that there a timer above their heads, it was at the number 120 slowly continuing down, it was giving them two minutes to prepare and examine their combat area. Once the time was up the first wave would appear. The floating numbers of light would be replaced with the words round one and they would have to begin fighting.

The would here screeches and howls coming from down bellow, riling up for a fight. One thing was clear, these two may be powerful but it would take every ounce of their ability to overcome every single thing that would be thrown at them.

OOC: There will be no time limit for this post as this is just meant to be an introduction to the area of combat helping to give you a grasp of the area you'll be fighting in. After this every round will be on a normal posting time that will not stop until a break or till the battle is over.

Garret’s words as he touched the podium made her do a double take, but she would not have time to say anything before they were suddenly not at the podium anymore. Ari took note of the floating, free feeling, having experienced something similar when she had been with Ugo and for a moment she worried that she had somehow been killed again. But everything materialized soon enough and she gave a sigh of relief until she found where they had been moved to.

She took a look around, her eyes quickly picking out the floating numbers before taking note of the massive pillar they were standing on. A quick peek off the side assured her it was not a viable option for movement and she turned to look at Garret as the timer slowly ticked down the numbers.

“I was only dead for a little while, I assumed Azix would have filled you in. But I do not think we have time to get into details right now…”

Her fingers tightened around her staff and she tensed slightly, preparing herself for what might be coming, hoping only that Garret would not assume she was also an enemy and try to strike her down. She had not been a Magi long enough yet to think she had a hope of standing against the other magician.

The cold settled into his body, causing him wish he had clothes that would provide enveloping warmth. His mind recalled his gear when he had visited the Imuchakk lands with Azix, even as he felt his body drifting through the sky. Almost as if he were simply another flake of snow, Garret felt his body move in a lethargic manner. This feeling did not last for long; they had reached their destination. It was a rock pillar, far into the air, and Garret immediately analyzed the area they were within.

He looked towards the dimensions of the place even as the feeling of death permeated the air around him. Carcasses of creatures providing that smell were nowhere to be seen. The screeches of birds from below were an onimous warning, coupled with the strange timer that appeared above them. He heard Ariella speak to him. Hmm. It seems I spoke aloud. "Tell me. When Azix and I came back from the Imuchakk lands, where were you?" It was almost cruel to ask, but there were not many people who knew. As he asked this he brought out his blade, Desceld, and his shield, Spritely Plague Shield. There was danger in this place, though he knew not from where it would come.

A strange nagging feeling overcame Garret; he did not remember setting up his weapons this morning.

Looking for the dimensions of the battlefield ^_^. Then Garret will walk about 30% of the diameter from the nearest edge.

Soon they would hear the sound of wings flapping, and by the sound of it they were coming from a rather large creature. As they looked flying upward 20m past where they stood appeared two avian creatures. Looking closely they were harpies, they had feather coloration similar to that of a bald eagle with a strange and unsettling smile. At first the birds only circled around them fastly as if they were trying to scope out the targets for their next meal. It would feel as if they were giving a piercing gaze like they were being poked with daggers. The birds were trying to draw their attention it seemed, and there was good reason for this. Soon from the side a Harpy popped up from the sides 3m in the air.

The bird got 30m of Ariele waiting till the most opportune moment to use a Feather Surprise to try and attack the girl. THe other two focused on the male magician circling around him flying 20 m above. They would both dive down at high speeds using Dive bomb in attempt to get closer, and to be sure the other one would try to use feather line in case their first attacks had failed. The fight started of interesting as the birds had the advantage in the high open area allowing them to move and attack more freely then the pair of magicians

The fighting area is is 100m long and 70m wide with a barrier allowing people to fly only up to 60m into the air and if one tries to leave they will bounce right back, taking D-tier damage.

Enemies:

Ari tensed as she heard wings flapping, her eyes darting around to try and locate the source of the sound. When Garret spoke, she froze for a moment, almost missing the Feather Surprise aimed for her. At the last moment, Ari raised her staff and murmured to the rukh, a Cyclone forming and throwing the incoming feather off course.

“In hell.”

Her voice was tight as she raised her wand again, having to jerk her mind back from the deep pit she tried to repress every day. This time, she took a more direct approach to the bird, striking out with an Ice Spear, the projectile aimed for the bird. Ari swallowed the rock in her throat as she turned towards Garret, her attention drawn to the two birds attacking him. Her voice was ragged when she spoke again, the torture she had been through echoing in her words.

“And the demon was Lilly.”

When she saw the birds beginning to Dive Bomb towards her friend, she did not hesitate, drawing on the fluttering rukh around her to summon a Guardian, the chunks of earth forming an image of the one responsible for her resurrection and transformation, the constructed Ugo standing to stop the flight of the birds but crumbling under the force of their attack. If Garret were observant enough to split his attention, he might notice that she was pulling her power not from within herself but from the environment around her. It would be up to Garret to handle the rest, she did not want to risk a surprise from the other side and her attention swung to their undefended side. She had never truly fought at Garret’s side but she was comfortable enough with his presence to try and work out a synergy as they faced their foes. The feeling of a dreamlike state had faded at the projection of danger and now her focus was on staying safe.

Abilities Used:

Hm. It seems like something she would say... Garret recalled the experience she retold to Azix and himself, what seemed like so long ago. The creatures had already made their appearance, and begun their attack in a diving fashion. Bracing himself, Garret was prepared to meet these creatures head-on, but a Guardian from the one claiming to be Ariella formed and grew into a giant being which completely blocked one of the creatures. The Guardian's efforts caused it to crumble as the other creature came piercing through its shoulder. Resurrection is possible. That much, I know... Is this... the case here? A part of him wanted to believe that, even as he raised his shield and performed a General's Block. He couldn't speak; the assault that was underway was too dangerous to take his attention away from, at least for now.

The first creature, having failed its attack, shot its Feather Line at Garret just as the shield was raised. The second creature, having already approached Garret before the Feather Line had been shot, reached his shield first. Garret angled his shield, sliding the creature across the surface and to Garret's right. It was trickier than sliding the creature to his left, as that would be a more natural movement, but the man wanted to keep his shield up between himself and the incoming feathers.  As the creature slid to his right from the defensive technique, Garret struck at it horizontally with his blade, Desceld. Simultaneously, the feathers from the other attack would fall harmlessly to the side, though the strength of the blow caused Garret some concern. These creatures are powerful. The exchange was enough to tell him that much, but it was not yet finished...

The birds screeched in anger as their attacks were blocked by the contestants, they were angered and wanted to fight back. The first bird was surprised by the ice spear that headed it's way, he was almost ready to attack but the spear pierced his wing. It screeched in pain before spiraling towards the ground. It may not have been killed by the attack and was surely down for the count being unable to move. It sprawled across the ground in attempt to escape in case they had not tried to kill it falling over the edge not realizing it would be unable to fly flying towards it's death down below.


The other bird was caught off guard when it slammed into the shield sliding past the man who rolled him over. The other bird would use a feather surprise in attempt to collide with the attack that headed towards his partner. If the man did not use a stronger attack against the feather surprise it would damage his weapon slightly. The bird that had been thrown over would then regain his footing. He would look at the other mage and use feather surprise in attempt to attack her while the man was preoccupied with his partner. They were furious and were trying to show their strentgh and avenge their friend who had just been killed.

Ari arched a brow at the bird attempting to throw feathers at her, murmuring to the rukh to summon another Cyclone, the feather veering harmlessly off course and falling to the ground as Ari shot another Ice Spear at the bird. She missed having her throwing daggers, but at least she could freely draw magoi from the world around her. She looked over towards Garret, willing to defend him, if need be, but he was holding his own through the use of his shield and sword. She considered reforming the earthen construct to knock the bird back, but her ally did not need to worry about fighting in close quarters, his blade and shield working together to fend off attacks.

Abilities Used:

The bird from above recovered quickly from the giant golem that had blocked it just moments before. Its ally, the creature Garret had slid to the ground with his shield, seemed to believe it was in the clear. The magician knew this instinctively as it did not pay heed to the blade he was swinging towards it. Above... He did not have to move his shield from before; it was already between himself and the flying creature, even as the creature attempted the Feather Surprise. Sustaining the defensive force of his General's Block, Garret's sword finished Slicing through the bird-enemy who was just recovering from his fall to the ground.

Just moments before his sword would slide through, he would see Ariella simultaneously firing a spear of ice towards a location above him. His shield had acted as something of an umbrella; it defended against the raining attacks above him, but it also kept him from seeing exactly what that creature was doing. Even so, the man strained his senses to their limits.

Once the sword stroke was completed, Garret continued to manuever his shield so that he could get a better look at what was above him. This time, he did not expect the harpy creature that landed on the ground to survive - but there could still be more from the one above. Flight... It is always a pain to handle.

Just to be clear; I bolded the attack in this post to make sure the attack counts as an attack; it is the same attack from my prior post.

I would also like to request Ari receive a 15 magoi/stam refund, as the grounded harpy would never have attacked her and she wouldn't have had to use Cyclone to clash against the attack.

I made an assumption that the other harpy was still flying due to mention that they would use the open area as an advantage, with no mention of it landing in either post, and that is the one I designated in my prior post as the one I have my shield between - in case you were wondering where I took the liberty of it 'still being in the air' from.

May I have an updated 'distance' and 'direction' within regards to everyone? I don't want to accidentally misunderstand any intentions.

The shield ability is still capable of blocking up to B-Tier damage, but it's up to you on whether or not you believe the defensive/clashing abilities only work on prior posts, whereas new abilities and offensive abilities that are newly created can work on the next post (Meaning I can't use the Generals Block in this post to prevent damage from your next post, as it was made in response to a previous post of yours).

The pair had amazing teamwork in dealing with the enemies, they had managed to show how strong they were against the enemies. As the attack headed towards the man he blocked the attack stopping the feather from hurting him. Moving fast enough he managed to kill the bird that fell before it had the time to get up. His blade struck the creature cleaving through it's flesh, blood splattering on the blade slicing through vital organs. Now all that was left was to take out the harpy that had survived the previous attacks. The female magician had shot a spear of ice which flew into it's side without it realizing it, letting out a blood curdling scream as it died from the sharp cold feeling of the attack penetrating it's flesh.

As they killed them the words above them started to change from the words round one to round two. From the side they would hear the enemies approaching the sides. Flying up from overhead was another Harpy but this time there was only one, but if they looked at the ledge they would see something crawling up. Appearing from the side appeared to be weird goat men, they were rather large and had fatty bodies. They seemed to be carrying no weapons on their personal, but they were rippling with muscle so it seemed that it wouldn't be necessary for the monsters. The Harpy and goat men would walk across from the ledge before stopping 20m from the pair. They weren't ready to fight yet but would be cautious as their friends had been killed. But the beasts showed their killer intent as the gave off a monster bleat that sounded more like a roar.

Ari's Cyclone will be refunded

Ari and Garret are 5m apart with Ari to the right of Garret.

The Harpy is exactly 20m in front of Ari with a Goatman on her left and ride sides each being 3m away from her.

Ari gave a grim smile as the last of the creatures tumbled to the ground, turning to Garret and opening her mouth to speak before the sound of other creatures reached her ears. A Harpy appeared before them with two odd things crawling up the side of the pillar they were on. The goat men came to stand on either side of her, one standing between Garret and herself and the other standing between her and the edge of the pillar. The Harpy simply hovered in front of them, none of the creatures seeming interested in attacking right at this moment. Ari did not let that dissuade her and she worked to formulate a plan in her head. The one between Garret and herself would be easiest for her ally to reach and so she would let him handle that one, but the other goat man was an equal threat that needed to be neutralized. She murmured to the rukh, Thorny Overgrowth sprouting up so the edge of it was a mere 1 meter from her and stretched about 5 meters away, tangling the other goat with vicious thorns.

Given Garret’s seeming preference to rely on his blade and conserve his energy, Ari turned most of her focus to the Harpy, the most difficult of the creatures to try and hit with a sword, an Ice Spear slicing through the air, aimed for the bird.

OOC: Ice Spear to Harpy, Thorny Overgrowth to Goat Man (B) which is 3m to the right of Ari. Leaving Goat Man (A) for Garret, which is 3m to the left of Ari and 2m to the right of Garret.

Abilities Used:

The battle seemed to be over, though Garret soon realized it was but a brief respite. The strange voice that echoed throughout the area was all it took; a precursor to the arrival of new enemies. Garret looked around once more and frowned. "Where is Azix?" There is unfinished business that must be handled... The magician recalled the scene he had come across, when he had visited that sea-side village. Directed by the culprit. The King Candidate. His tone was just as grim as Ari's grin, his words boding bad connotations.

Adjusting his equipment, Garret rolled his shoulders in an effort to help keep warm. The opposition had stopped some distance in front of them - two large creatures that looked to have come from a nightmare, as well as another of the bird-like creatures that they had fought before. Though the creatures seemed transfixed, if just momentarily, Garret felt that their strengths were above that of the rank and file. Much like those they had fought before.

His blade was strong, though. His shield, sturdy. Ariella took the initiative, immediately entering combat with this new opposition and attempting to lay waste to the opposition. The strength she showed caught Garret off-guard. He had not paid too much attention to it before, as he was stuck inside combat, but the way she commanded the Rukh seemed much different than before. The amount of power behind it was equally stunning. What could have possibly happened..?

Before allowing his thoughts and the sight before him become a fatal distraction, Garret lightly bit the inside of his lip and focused on the enemies ahead. Their response was important; Garret would stalk forward as he replaced his sword with his advanced staff, Exuro, while maintaining the shield in his left hand. If either of the beasts fought up against the power of Ariella's spells, Garret would summon forth a heat construct. This creature would rush forward, slapping its body against the three opponents if they remained within the range of the beast. The heat, if the spell was cast, would be a welcome addition to the battlefield.

Garret will approach after Ariella starts casting spells. If either of the creatures clash with Ari's spells, Garret will case the ability attached to the Exuro Staff. The snake will attempt to hit all 3 of the enemies simultaneously (it is only 5 meters long, so this may not be possible). It will aim for the most number of opponents it can reliably strike. Garret will not approach closer than 10 meters to the enemy, still wanting to keep a little bit of distance.

Item/Spell potentially used:

The unknowing creatures tried to prepare themselves for the oncoming assault. As the overgrowth appeared the goatman used stampede to rush through it, breaking through the plants which slowed him down to some degree before causing him to stop Tearing through the vines with every step as they pulled and tugged, slightly stealing the monster momentum. It managed to destroy the plants but it wasn't done with the mage. It thrusted it's hands into the ground pulling out a boulder, parts of the grown cracking as it did such with tremendous strength. It then used a rock toss, it heaved the boulder towards the mage Ariella. It let out loud bleats of anger.

The ice spear soared towards the harpy,  as it came towards it the bird lady used a Feather Surprise. The force of the feather striking the icy object caused it to crack and break, and in return the feather fell to the ground. As the attacks had clashed the male magician had used his flaming serpent to assist in the combat. The Large goatman who was closer to Garret used a stampede in attempt to try and stop the attack but it was to weak. As it ran through the serpent of flame the attack was slightly weakened, the flame burning the mammalian warrior dealing just enough damage to slay the creature. It fell to the ground screaming in anguish while it burned, skin charring and and finally killing the creature. As the attack had been weakened the Harpy would protect itself with a feather line, the force of the attack causing the flame construct to dissipate.

The harpy let out a loud screech and would fly towards the man, the bird was out for blood. They had attempted the first strike so now it was time for retaliation.

Ari grit her teeth as the boulder came flying towards her and she threw out one final Ice Spear to interfere with the incoming attack. With a murmur to the rukh, Ari encouraged another round of vines to appear, the Thorny Overgrowth aiming to entangle the Goatman in a vicious cage of thorns. At Garret’s question, her mind filtered through information as she prepared to assist Garret if necessary.

“Azix? Back in Reim, last I heard.”

Her lover had last written he intended to return to the country they had both come to see as home and she had planned to join him once she had spoken with her family about her ordeal.

OOC: Ice Spear to clash with Stone Toss, Thorny Overgrowth to Goat Man

Abilities Used:

The swordsage, rushing forward, watched as the carnage piled up around Ariella and himself. The scenery was reminiscent of his gore-filled past. There was a disconnect; the man had, to this point, not felt any need to hold back even though he had kept himself from activities that centered around killing for so long. His left foot slid forward as the bird woman cut his construct with its wing. He angled his body forty five degrees, keeping an eye on the creature that had passed him and engaged with Ari, while primarily focusing his energy on the creature that engaged him in combat. It was a defensive stance, which caused a stop in his movements.

Focusing his energy, Garret's spell that had been dissipated just moments before began to reform. The heat construct was sustained into existence. Its powerful flames burned brightly, and the flames that brought its presence into the arena would consume the flesh of the magician's opponent. Exuro was griped firmly within Garret's hand. He glanced back to Ariella. There was still more to discuss, but it seemed as if she was busy as well.

Garret did not lower his guard, his shield in the left hand aimed in such a manner as to be halfway from the ground to his head. Knees bent, the man was preparing for action at a moment's notice.

Item/Spell used:

As the rock collided with the icy spear they both exploding sending chunks or ice and rock all of the place. As this had happened the Goatman would use his large arms to cover his eyes for a second to make sure none of the shrapnel would harm his eyes. As the large mammal did this he would soon realize his mistake to come. As the creature's gaze was averted the mage was able to cast her vines, which moved around him. The vines wrapped around his skin, as the thorns pierced through his skin causing blood to drip down the plants. They gripped him tighter penetrating his skin more before the pain started to become overwhelming. The goat man passed out in the vines as he started to bleed out, dying sadly in a pile of it's own blood.

As the harpy flew towards the man he had managed to produce another snake from flame.The fiery serpent moved towards the bird so she tried her best to try and retaliate against the attack. She would attempt to use Dive bomb in order to clash with the attack and move out of the way but this would only prove fatal in the end. As she flew down into the flame the force helped weaken the attack but it was not enough to stop it in the ene. The flames wrapped around her body, igniting her feathers causing her skin to char, it become rough and dry like dehydrated food.

The remains of the monster they had defeated had slowly dissipated, their bodies exploding and disappearing to a place unknown. Above the round shifted to three, now it was time to see what time of monsters they would face now. Luckily it was something they were now familiar with, rising from the side of the cliff was a set of three goat men this time, fortunately they were not attended by a harp. The three goat men looked at them with murdroues intent and would run until they were 30m away from the pair, each of them standing 3m apart. In order to combine their forces they each used Top Kek, the loud noise echoing forming a makeshift wall of sound that moved towards them. They were smarter than their other counterparts and would be using teamwork to get their prey.

Ari gave a sigh of relief as the creatures dropped before tensing as they were rapidly replaced with three more of the Goat Men. It seemed they would not get much time to rest in whatever place they happened to be in. As the goat’s appeared, Ari glanced down at her staff, smiling for a moment before a massive slime 10 meters across bounced in from the side, two of the Top Kek colliding with the Slime Monster and making it burst, slime flying everywhere. Before the slime even had a chance to dissipate, Ari was already encouraging a Thorny Overgrowth to appear between two of the goats, the thorns aiming to slice and dice through the creatures. Whatever was happening here, it seemed to be wave after endless wave of creatures, luckily Ari was simply drawing from the magoi around her or else she would probably be getting quite tired by now.  She glanced at Garret as he worked in tandem with her, hoping their synchronized attack would be enough to end this battle quickly.

Abilities Used:

The 'rounds' increased again, or so the mysterious number ahead advised. We need to figure something out. Garret looked over to Ariella as the other three goatmen were crawling up from the side. "I don't know how long this will go on. Do you think there may be a way out of this?" Garret wanted to start moving, but before he knew it the creatures were already attacking; this time, they attempted to strike with a sound wave.

The Rukh spoke to him, showing him the dangers of the attack as it approached. Fire continued to harmlessly cloak the Exuro Staff, as well as his arm, before once again forming at the end of the staff. A third heat construct formed from the Rukh, firing forward. The serpentine creature of flame flew across the gap between the magician and the goatman, heating the air up and distorting it as the sound wave struck the flickering fire. Absorbing the blow, the flames would continue onward to strike the Goatman unless something was done to stop them.

As these flames were crossing that distance, Garret returned the staff to its holster on his back and once more took out his blade from before, readying himself for a face-to-face confrontation while positioning himself between Ariella and the goatman who had attacked Garret.

Sustaining the A-Tier spell on the staff. Sending it to one of the 'Topkek' abilities and having it ride through and into the Goatman. Trying to stand in between Ari and that same Goatman, with hopefully only 5 meters between Ari and myself.

Item/Spell used:

As the wave of sound collided with her attack, vibrating through the large blob of slime it exploded launching slime in all directions. This would block their vision for a moment so the goat to Ari's right would try to use a Stampede to get close to her, but they were both were unaware of the attack she had already started to cast so his attack would prove futile. As the vines appeared there it would prevent the one that tried to charge from moving, thankfully though in return for him not being able to run through the thick vines he was able to live.  As he was trying to tear through the vines to try and cancel it out his partner was not so lucky, the plants wrapped around him, they grasped him and tore into his flesh slowly before they would cut through vital veins and organs kill him.  The goatman would walk until he was 15m infront of the girl, he had a plan in order to avenge his friend and harm the female .In order to avenge his friend's death he would plunge his hands into the ground before him to lift up a massive rock, which he would toss at the purple haired magician.

While those two were preoccupied the other goatman found himself busy dealing with the male combatant. As the soundwave clashed with the snake of fire it slightly disrupted the attack, but it would not be enough to fully clash with and cancel out the attack. The large mammal was surprised and was about ready to get running, he would use a stampede, clashing with the snake of fire destroying it. He managed to get a bit of distance but would walk until he was 15m in front of the man and would use a rock toss in attempt the crush the man before he could move. There would be an opening for him to attack though, it would take a little over a second for the goat to get close enough and in that short time the mage would have a window to finish the monster that stood before him.

Ari snorted as one of the Goatmen threw a rock for her with a Rock Toss and she wasted no time in murmuring to the rukh, the Slime reforming to stop the stone, slapping into the rock and dissolving it as it bounced towards the Goatman, the rock not enough to stop the massive slime. She slid her attention over to Garret, noticing the other remaining Goatman using the same move on him. Trusting him to defend himself, she prepared for the possibility of more enemies. IT seemed as though this place was nothing more than a test that never ended or gave any type of indication of what it was for, aside from strength. Perhaps they had somehow stumbled into a dungeon, but if that were the case, what was in store?

Ability Used:

The spell seemed like it was about to go through, but the creature threw its might against the serpent of flame. In a grand explosion of energy the fire licked across the creatures body, momentarily enveloping it, yet the beast stood undeterred. It continued to move forward. The Goatman walked; almost as if it was showing how menacing it was. How inevitable its victory would be. Garret narrowed his eyes and started walking forward to meet it, his blade Desceld in his right hand and his shield in his left.

When the gap closed, the creature hunkered down and dug its hands into the ground. Garret simultaneously stopped, cautious to this new development. What is it planning..? As the giant stone was lifted from the ground, Garret stared. His brain rushed to calculate his best movement before deciding to jump back. With a leap, the man would find himself outside of the range of the attack... Although the stone was certainly large enough to keep his line of sight off of the creature. Keeping his shield up, Garret dashed to the right of the stone; he wanted to make sure that he wasn't leaving an opening towards Ariella, who was fighting just a ways behind him. He glanced in her direction before rounding the corner of the stone, making sure that none of the enemies were starting to hone in on him.

With that segment complete, Garret began to jog towards his opponent before going into a run. It was a bit reckless, but with the shield up and if the opponent wasn't waiting for him with a surprise, the magician wanted to attack the creature while maintaining his stamina. His sword would be waiting behind his shield, and a piercing stab would be performed from below if Garret was capable of closing the distance to less than a meter.

The guy stopped 15 meters away from me, and launching an attack that moves at 20 m/s. It takes about .75 seconds to travel the distance. The max range on his attack is 15 meters, according to his ability (which is what I based my description of it on). As a human, my reaction is .215. This gives me .535 seconds to move out of the way. At the base speed of 2.5 m/s, I am able to move approx 1.3 meters and am out of range of the rock throw.

Items used:

As the monster of slime was created by the girl it had managed to stop the goat mans attack. The moving ball of slime closed in on the goat in a matter of seconds, by the time the goatman was able to react the slime construct had closed in. It wrapped around the creatures body burning it with it's acidic nature. The goat tried screaming out in pain, but the acidic slime clogged up it's mouth burning the insides to were it was incapable of uttering a single noise. While the female magician had managed to kill the other goat the male was left facing his own opponent on his own. The warrior was smart enough to realize he was able to escape the rock that was tossed his way. it crashed into the ground shattering causing the creature to be disappointed at it's own failed attempt to kill the man. The distance was closed quickly as the goatman was getting tired from the assault and would find the man getting close to him. He went to punch but the mammalian warrior's hand collided with the man's shield. Without realizing it a blade punctured his ribs, a stinging pain enveloping it's body while the cold hand of death dripped the creature. Blood dripping slowly to form a pool while it looked down upon the man know as Garret, Eye's lifeless showing it's sadness of death before spitting blood all over.

Once again another round had been finished by the pair who seemed to have some good teamwork. They were experienced fighters so despite the monsters being strong they were wiped out. Above their heads the round timer would shift over to say round four, as they had one the previous round it would feel as if a warm energy entered their body. Some of the energy that they had lost before was being replenished in some way, it was like way to keep them fighting. This wasn't just for a test of their skills, if it was they wouldn't be refreshed. As things would seem strange the next wave of enemies would soon appear before the pair, they were slow to appear so the two of them would have a moment to re position themselves.

Flying above them 20m circled a pair of harpies, they circled around Ariella both being 5m away from one another whil flying, who watched them from above, as if it was looking for someone else. They would feel a loud thud as two goatmen hoped up from the sides moving close to the pair. They would stand 15m in front of them while they were 5m apart from one another looking at them. This time they had numbers and help in the sky above to help them with combat, it would be a test to see if they would be able to deal with the double challenge of now having four enemies instead of three.

Ari sighed as the previous enemies fell, only to feel slightly refreshed just as more enemies appeared. With a combination of ground and air enemies, Ari glanced to Garret, having already noticed he was favoring his blade over his wand for this fight. Given the number of enemies, she could not blame him.

“You take the ground.”

Hoping he understood that she was giving him the chance to take care of the Goat Men with his blade, she turned her focus to the Harpies. It would be best for her to take them out as quickly as possible. While she had a larger pool of magoi than most to draw from, her energy was not infinite. Waiting until the Harpies were at their closest point together, Ari used Lightning Strike directly between the two, hoping the electrical charge would strike both of them while Garret dealt with the opponents on the ground.

Abilities Used:

The feeling of his energy being restored was something he was not expecting. Both his physical stamina and some of his magoi reserves seemed to have recovered, to a certain extent, and the Magician took note of this. It was as if I ate and rested well... He wondered what it could have been, but the wonderment was cut short by the additional enemies that appeared before them.

Two of the flying creatures, and two of the goat creatures below. Garret frowned, deciding if it was time to use a speed buff or not. His thoughts were interrupted as his partner advised the next course of action; she would handle those in the air, while he handled those on the ground.

Garret cleared his throat as the warmth in his body that had rejuvenated him died down. Keeping a solid positioning on his Spritely Plague Shield being halfway up his body, Garret walked forward at a leisurely pace with his sword still in hand. If the enemies allowed him to, Garret would Strike out at one with his blade, Descled. He was aiming for a diagonal slash from the top right of the shoulder to the bottom-left of the enemy's waist; while his physical strength wasn't the greatest, he was looking to use the sharpness of the blade to do a majority of the work.

Aiming for the creature furthest to Garret's right out of the two of them. Keeping the shield up to protect a portion of my body while the blade's basic attack attempts to hit one of the goatmen.

Items used:

The lightning had impacted slamming into the soaring above harpy, as it struck it spread out crackling through the air. The attack had spread out faster than the bird lady could react, it would char bits of their flesh.  The electricity ran through their bodies damaging before they would fall to the ground. It destroyed their nerve connections and fried their brains making it were there was no chance the birds would survive the attack. While she would be dealing with her enemies Garret would find himself full with the goatman he had attacked. It used a stampede slamming into the mans shield which had managed to hold him off, slightly denting the metal with his force. On the moment it made contact with the defensive item it would feel the mans blade slice through him cleanly. Organs were sliced through covering the blade of the warrior, while he was busy with this the other goatman would look at him. It would position itself 5m to the left of Garret as it let out a loud and powerful Top Kek to try and damage him while he was unprepared.
