Zadi waited and waited and eventually came to the conclusion that the Chief wasn’t in the mood or even remotely interested in bargaining fish for military aid. According to the job sheet, yes, the Chief did want military support if something of such a situation required military support for the village. Zadi would be more than happy to assist in such bargains seeing as another part of the job required the bargainer to “show off” some of Balbadd’s military might to the rest of the village. Not too bad in the end, however, he would probably use a much Magoi.
All the same, the first part of the job called for some bargaining and trading of things with the fishing village’s Chief. Eventually, Zadi just stayed there for the fun of it, not even expecting the Chief to show up, but he did! Zadi recognized him from the picture…and he sure dressed like something…if that were to imply that he actually wore anything at all. All he had was a small leaf over his…groin area…yeah, this was probably going to be an easy trade. Zadi introduced himself and the Chief did the same. The two of them talked and talked.
Zadi was about to make the deal with the Chief of the fishing village when he all of a sudden, “ACHOO!!! Man, that’s weird. I don’t feel sick. Hmmm…probably got some sort of germ while in the dungeon…hope not.” Zadi apologized for the sudden disturbance in their deal-making and continued to talk about said deal. The Chief of the fishing village seemed pleased with the offer that Zadi was making. However, as the job sheet predicted, there would be more than just a simple diplomacy involved. Zadi agreed to show off his skills in front of the village by the end of today or early tomorrow.
So long as Zadi showed off his skills, the deal was official and the Black Magician could go home and rest. So then, the Chief and Zadi shook hands and went their separate ways. The Chiefe want back with his little leaf keeping his groin concelad while Zadi left with dignity…however, the Chief seemed to have confidence in something that bothered Zadi to no end…was it really THAT big that he wouldn’t mind others seeing it? Or was it sturdy enough to keep going for ages? Zadi would never find out…hopefully. That would make Zadi blind after all, hahaha!
