The fight between Decimus and Lagi had been intense from Azix's perspective in the crowd. The orange magician had been paying particularly close attention to Decimus during the fight. The legendary man wielded a ball connected to a chain that he used quite efficiently. Without the dragon on the field, Azix was certain things would have gone a bit differently. Decimus' ability to burrow into the earth also piqued the magician's interest. He wondered how the man accomplished it and it would be something Azix pondered on for a while.

It was with this burrowing ability where things took a dramatic turn. Lagi and the dragon, unable to hit Decimus beneath the earth, were forced to descended. When they did, the legendary warrior launched an attack with his ball and chain. The dragon had caught it, which had proved to be a mistake as Decimus yanked the dragon to the ground. Once there, the dragon took some nasty hits and Lagi had to dismount to protect his beast. With Lagi's next move, the man revealed his talent for using body manipulation to the crowd. Azix was surprised to learn the Lagi was capable of it and was impressed by the King's particular ability. Lagi's attacks proved too strong for Decimus, whose stamina had been whittled away by the dragon's game of keep-away.

With Lagi's victory, the King began undressing himself and running around the ring. He proceed to give an inspiring speech to the crowd, but Azix wasn't paying attention. As soon as the victory had been called, the orange magician used his Vanish spell to go invisible. He then made his way into the arena and sprinted towards the fallen Decimus. Kneeling down at the man's side, Azix used the ability of his God's Necklace to revive the warrior. A brilliant white light bathed the man in healing warmth and as Decimus gasped for air, Azix whispered. "You can't die yet, I want to test my strength against you."

He stood up and walked to El Drago, using Blessing of the God's to instantly heal any remaining wounds the dragon had. It was around this time that he heard Lagi shouting out Azix's name and he groaned, thankful he was invisible. Now that everyone was healed he quickly left the Coliseum to think on what he had seen this day.

The crowd had been on the edge of their seats throughout the fight. Though it was dull at times, when there was action, it was breathtaking and awe-inspiring. None had ever thought to see the day the great Decimus would be bested in battle. When a brilliant light shone over the man, some began whispering prayers until the man pushed himself into a sitting position with a confused look on his face. He remembered someone speaking to him, but there was no one near the legendary warrior. Perhaps he had taken too many hits to the head.

El Drago would also groan and grumble as his injuries were fully healed, looking around only to cover his face in embarrassment at Lagi baring himself to the Coliseum in a disturbing and confusing display for the dragon. However, the crowd seemed to respond to this tactic. It seemed that no matter how long he had lived, humans would never cease to confuse him.

Decimus walked up to a bare Lagi with a smirk, the man seemingly unaware that he had been healed and gave Lagi a rough clap on the back, with a rumbling laugh.

“You fought well, young king! One day, you and I will have a rematch!”

The crowd went wild at the words, glad he legend of the Coliseum was already discussing another match.

“Rematch? No problem! But I’ll be even stronger than I was before, so you better be ready.” Lagi would then shake Decimus’s hand as a sign of friendship. “ If fate allows it, it will happen.”  LAgi would say this bit jokingly,  but he knew how serious this war was going to be.  Now that Lagi knew for sure that he was ready,  that he reached the majority of his limitations, there was no more excuses. At the very most, he could continue to polish his skills.  But Lagi would continue on the path he set for himself, as well as accepting fate.

Garret had watched the battle closely; he was impressed with the tactics Lagi showed. The man seemed to have a decent grasp on the limitations he held, though it also seemed that he was not fully aware of the extent of his abilities.

What was of a higher priority to the Magician, however, was the skills of Decimus. Garret did not know how far Azix was going to pursue the Coliseum matches, but if he decided to go all the way to this point then it would be something Garret would need to clear first, to make sure everything was fine.

As the fight continued, he could only admire the level of power the two had. When El Drago and Lagi were dragged down to the ground, Garret was at the edge of his seat wondering what would happen next.

As the fight ended, Garret watched carefully and saw Lagi land such a powerful blow so as to kill the Coliseum legend. Ah. Well, it looks like I won't have to fight him after all. Lagi has already ensured Azix's safety. The spymaster turned to Azix to ask him what he thought of the match, only to see the Magician had disappeared. Frowning, he looked about and saw as Decimus stood back up from what seemed to have been a fatal wound.

Narrowing his eyes, Garret grunted. It looks like I still have more to do, after all. Garret could only assume that Azix had a hand in Decimus being fine, and thought on that as he left the arena.
