Nico was sitting inside a caravan filled with nothing - just him and a paperclip board lying on his side. It was a rather a plain, and a usual day for him but that would be a lie. It was a rotten day for him. A very. Rotten. Day.

It all started this morning when he was frolicking inside the village, just like usual days, aimlessly. He just felt like walking since he's got nothing to do anyways and he thought that maybe Something interesting may happen, which really did happen unluckily, to him. While he was walking, he tripped over a crack on the road. The bad result was he fell. The worse result was he fell over a watermelon. The worst was his head was thick enough to crack open the watermelon. The good result? Well, nothing. Plus, he became an embarrassment around for the commotion he just accidentally did. People all around him laughing with glee while he was miserably lying on the floor with his head covered with the shell of the watermelon. Atleast he wasn't alone in his miserable life. The merchant who was selling that watermelon was mourning over the watermelon not him. Inside his head, he was thinking Oh great, just a living, breathing human over here with head stuck inside the watermelon. Instead of broadcasting his thoughts, he just let out a deep sigh.

Two kindhearted men - Oh wait, Two almost kindhearted men - helped him stand while they were laughing. They were saying "Are you okay?" while laughing. He didn't reply because he thought that it was pointless. Now, Nico became the laughing stock of the village. The good thing is his hood was still covering his face with a deep shadow but it was soggy because of the watermelon.

Meanwhile, the merchant was furious about what happened. Before he called the guards, he demanded for a compensation - something which Nico cannot comply to. So the merchant called the guards. Nico just thought I hope it doesn't get more worse than this.

2 guards came and held Nico around his arms. After a usual conversation with the guards and the merchant, Nico was about to be taken when suddenly, a rich-looking businessman approached him. He was scratching his chin and analyzed him, and probably saw something at his side which struck him. "I see your a swordsman. Free this man and I shall pay for the watermelon", the man said. The merchant and the businessman had a private negotiation which turned out great. Nico was freed, the guards ran off, the merchant seemed happy holding a stack of huang, and the people went off. Nico was left with the businessman and he didn't even know what happened.

"No time for introductions. I'm here because I payed for the watermelon. Because of that, you have to pay me for that by doing a simple job which I think you're capable of", the man said while staring at him like he's a rare specimen.

"Uhh... Okay?", Nico doesn't what to deny the man's request because he really owes the man something. He felt weird being stared at at a very close distant.

"Great! All you have to do is........"

"I stand corrected... This is the worst", Nico uttered loudly, which echoed inside the caravan.

Nico remembered all of those rotten times. Now, he was tasked to gather information about a natural mine which is rumored to hold very rare gems and minerals which can help with the negotiation between Reim and Imuchakk. He was also ordered to check if there are no monsters inside. He was sent off in a caravan and took the road towards North. He couldn't even make an argument about it since the man was rushing him.

After reminiscing those rotten memories which will probably stay in his head for a while, the caravan stopped  - an indication that they have probably reached the destination. He went out of the caravan carrying the paperclip board, and the man maneuvering it stayed. He looked forward, and saw a simple cave. Nothing special, he thought.

He approached it, and entered it. It was pretty dark when he looked deep inside. He saw nothing but darkness so he decided to walked deeper inside. It was a one way so probably, he can manage to return. He continued to walk until he saw a speck of green light, glowing in the dark. It was pretty obvious because it emitted a bright glow. He continued to walk until he reached the bright light. He looked back, and he can still see the opening of the cave. The light that was seen from afar, was actually a gem that is stuck on a floor. He touched it and felt it's smoothness. He continued on inside until he saw more specks of light, multiplying as he walks closer. He seemed interested and eager to see what lies deeper inside. His steps turned brisk and every sound he creates echoed inside. Slowly, another opening was within his sight and all around him, gems scattered. He approached the opening and was amazed by the brilliance of what he saw. A whole nest of gems and minerals, fresh from the earth. It was a very appealing sight but he focused on his task and looked around. He saw nothing but gems so he  thought that it should be clear. He wrote down his report about being able to encounter a gem which probably came from the inside.

He was glad that it was fast. He went out, and climbed inside the caravan, and returned to the city. He returned his short report to the man and he seemed satisfied. He didn't just give him the amount for the watermelon. He was given more.
