The neighborhood was a sort of back alley shopping district where you wouldn't find many people and more importantly many guards at all. At night time this place had the best kind of view, the capitals lights could be seen clearly in the distance, and the stars above were enchanting. I guess it was a plus, Jahan didnt really choose this place for Echidna to be stationed because it was pretty. He simply needed to make some money and spread his forces. He didnt want to many people wearing bandannas running around the capital, luckily Typhon was still making great money, and now they had opened up a small magic store downstairs.
They sold books, trinkets, food, pets anything they could get their hands on that seemed to be worth value. It was a self sufficient operation, and made enough money to keep the shop open, the Echidna guys just lived in the back. Jahan jumped down from the roof doing a flip as he did so, he landed on the ground and began walking into his shop. He wondered if he would have any interesting customers tonight.
The shop was rather small it was at one point a reasonable sized house, however Jahan found the place for the low and proceeded to convert it into a eccentric shop.
"Jahan's Fantastical Emporium"
Jahan grinned at the name, he actually loved it, while most snickered upon its mention. However this is how he felt a magic shop should be, even though he had spent no previous tie within one. He imagined that they would be places that inspired imagination and delight. So when decorating it with all of the soft lighting, magical plants, books wands and trinkets he went all out. The place was filled with a clutter, prices scribbled on notes below items, second hand wands and magical gems. Members of Echidna and Typhon would walk through their symbols worn plainly every now and then but nothing major.
It was an over all slow night Jahangir sat at the counter a book opened in front of him, he flipped through the pages non nonchalantly, it was drabble written by some Magoi manipulation genius. However he saw far too many errors in the authors theories, and his exercises were far too elementary. Jahan then peaked his head up at the door, he heard footsteps approaching.
"Who could it be at this time of night?"
The store was still open, and what not. However almost never did a customer come in this late. Jahan grinned charmingly, maybe this would be a special occasion.
