Zachariah would be walking through the market district, with a shopping list. His eyes down and staring at the list he would bump lightly into a timid young lady. She almost toppled over, but he would catch her without a thought. He would place the shopping list in his internal shirt pocket and speak up, "Are you alright young lass?" The young lady would nod with a sweet smile, "Y-yes sorry for standing in your way."
The girl would then give him a look-over and speak up, "Say, you wouldn't happen to know a Mr. Shaw, would you? He lives in this town and I have a very important message for him." Zachariah would think for a moment. The name Mr. Shaw seemed so familiar. "I think so. Maybe..." he would say with a pondering tone. "Wonderful! Please take me to him, you'll be duly rewarded, I promise!" Zachariah would be suddenly pressed to partake of this venture the young lady was on. But he was shopping for the orphanage.
Oh well, they would understand if he brought back a bit of extra foodstuffs. "C-Certainly! Stay close, the streets are dangerous," he would jest. A hearty laugh followed as he would walk towards the edge of the marketing district towards the residential district for the middle class. The young lady would follow him closely as he'd requested, because she was rather helpless and something was making her afraid, obviously.
"Hey, what's the matter?" Zachariah would inquire to her.The young lady would begin to explain her situation. "You see, this Mr. Shaw is an important figure in gladiatorial combat and is even a face in the underground fighting rings around these parts. Thusly many people would hire thugs to steal information from him." Zachariah would nod kurtly. "I see. So you're a messenger for him, and therefore any thugs that were hired would be aiming for you?" The young lady would nod, "That's correct. Not only that though, but I've already had an encounter with them." She would suddenly slap her hands over her mouth and blush, as she would peer over at Zachariah, expecting a sort of angry reaction from him. Zachariah remained unperturbed, however, and simply responded, "Is that all? I'll handle your thug problem then. After all, there's a reward at the end of it, right?"
