So it Begins [Sloth;Raizel/Private]

Dynatos felt his body violently be pulled through a light and into the dungeon. It did not hurt, but it felt weird that's for sure. Dynatos watched as he saw a giant blue ball and various beams of light. When one of the beams directed itself at him and the rest of the group it caused him to black out. Ares and Athena had blacked out the moment the dungeon 'devoured' them into itself. When Dynatos opened his eyes he would find him self standing outside close to the base of a mountain. The words he had been saying quickly became bottled up as he looked around. It was a beautiful sight, but at the same time he wondered how in the world a dungeon could do such a thing. Ares came walking up next to Dynatos with Athena on his back. "How's everyone?" Dynatos asked looking back at them and Raizel.

After a dizzy feeling, it finally stopped. Raizel was on all four, and his face was facing down. He was still trying to get used to the new surrounding. The teleportation made Raizel really dizzy, since it was his first time. he actually felt like throwing up, but he was able to hold it in. Suddenly, Dynatos asked, "How's everyone?" Raizel slowly stood up, showed a thumbs up and said, "I'm alright...." while faking a smile. However, his smile lasted a short while, and soon, he marveled at the view in front of him. He was in an island; a floating island to be precise. He could see the clouds just on the horizon. As he continued looking around, he could see a mountain nearby. "Should we head for the mountain? There seems to be a palace at its peak." He was still surprised at all this. He knew the gates of the dungeon would teleport them into the dungeon, but this doesn't seem, look, or feel like inside a dungeon.

The two intruders would find themselves with little time to get their bearings as five men surrounded them from the tree tops. Each of these men wore large coats made from various bird feathers and red Tengu masks with elongated noses. "You are trespassing. Outsiders are not permitted to leave here alive." One of the Tengu Masks warned in an ominous tone from the branch he was perched upon. Each of the Tengu Masks were at least 10m away from Dynatos and Raizel and were 5m off the ground thanks to their positions in the tree tops. Their leader rose his hand hand to stay the others and gave the group of would-be-conquerors one chance to turn back. "Leave our kingdom, or be purged as filthy "Wingless" beasts.

It was an empty gesture of supposed mercy as there was no exit or path the men and their beast friends could take TO leave. There were only two options. Fight or die.

Abilities:

Dynatos nodded to the words of Raizel, and began to take in where he was there was a sudden rustling noise coming from above them. Ares began to growl and Athena and Dynatos both looked up to see that they had been surrounded by 5 men in the tree tops. Dynatos listened to the words of one of these winged men that wore red masks. Dynatos looked between the men and listen as one of them threatened him and his companions. Dynatos gave off a powerful aura that made Ares lower his ears. Dynatos then saw one of the men raised his hand to calm down the others. He was probably the leader. Before anyone could react Dynatos put his fingers to his mouth and let out a high pitched whistle. The whistle would sweep over everyone including his own group. Ares put his head to the ground and cover his ears while Athena covered her ears.

As he started walking towards the mountain, he stopped, once he heard Ares, Dynatos' companion, started growling with anger. He looked at the direction Ares was growling at and saw 5 man on a tree looking at them. They were each wearing a heavily-feathered cloak, and a red mask with a long, sharp nose. One of them said Raizel and Dynatos was trespassing. Raizel then knew that these are one of the opponents he had to defeat; they were the dungeon guardians, or as Mr. Zen calls them, annoying pest in the dungeon. As they started making noises, one of them lifted its hand and asked them to leave. Raizel didn't even bothered listening to him; as it lifted its hand, Raizel started dashing towards them, closing the gap. Just as he was a few meters away, he was interrupted with a loud whistle, which stopped him in his track. He tried covering his ears but he was too late. The whistle made him dizzy and almost deaf. Shaking his head vigorously to remove the dizzy effect, Raizel shouted, "You could've warned me first!"

The leader was watching the intruders movements closely and did not even bother trying to give his warning when the fighters both showed signed of resistance. The human began to run and the fanalis suddenly took in a huge breath. The leader of the dungeon protectors immediately took Tengu Flight jumping high into the air spreading his feathered cloak to look like the wings of a bird. Two of the Tengu Masks had direct line of sight with their leader and also took flight into the air just as the fanalis began to whistle. The three dungeon beasts that had reacted  in time would barely escape the effective range of Dynatos' attack however the other two were not so fortunate. They had to react based on the movements of their comrades since they did not see their leader's jump. The two Tengu Masks were too slow and froze in place as the sound waves rung past them and caused damage to their sensitive hearing organs. Blood spurted from their ears and they fell over out of the tree branches landing on the ground unconscious.

The Tengu Mask leader and his two remaining subordinates would counter attack with a Feather Barrage sending a volley of 15 feathers each at 15m/s. The feathers were capable of D-tier damage alone but that damage would grow to C and even B-tier should a full wave of them hit a target. These feathers were clustered together and aimed solely for Dynatos and his beasts.

Dynatos managed to take out two if the winged men, but the most important one of them managed to slip through. He would have to apologize to Raizel later. If the leader could be taken out then the others would most likely surrender, but the leader would be the most difficult to defeat. While they were in the air Dynatos was watching them the whole time and he ended up seeing a barrage of feathers leave from all three of them. These feathers began to glisten in the sunlight. Dynatos automatically assumed that they were some kind of metal or something like knives; he tackled Ares and Athena who were right by him and still out of it from his previous attack. When he that he dived to the right of the Tengu. Just as his feet moved from the spot the feathers landed were he was, but one managed to become lodged in his calf. It hurt most defiantly, but it would not affect him in the Fight Dynatos layed the two beasts down and watched the Tengu closely he judged were they were going to land and began to move towards that spot and a clenched fist.

After the whistle ended, Raizel took sometime to recover. After shaking his head and trying his best to focus, two dead bodies of the tengu landed in fron of him
That immediately got his attention back. He then began to dash forward, as he saw the other three leaping high into the skies. As he passed the two dead bodies, he could see they were bleeding a lot from their ears. That made Raizel surprised, and he was thankful that he didn't end up like them. For all he knows, that could be his fate. As he continued moving forward, suddenly, the tengu launched a barrage of feathers towards Dynatos. Raizel shook his head to keep himself focused. One, he trust that Dynatos is skilled enough to dodge it. Two, even if Dyna wasn't as skilled as he thought, there's nothing Raizel could've done to help him. All he needs to do now is make himself useful; by taking down the rest.

Raizel then started running to where he think they might land. He expect them to land together, or at least very closely. If so, he will launch a huge slash from his right side to the left, in a 160 degrees arc. If they land individually, Raizel will go ahead and attack the normal Tengu, and not the leader. Of course, he will take the advantage, since he has a huge window of opportunity to attack before the tengu lands to the ground. He will attack before they land on the ground, so that it has no chance of defending, he trust his sword(B rank), to take him down.

The reason why he didn't target the leader was because he expects the leader to be skilled, therefore if his attack was parried or block, it would allow the other two to attack him. But he hopes all of them lands at the same place so he can attack all of them at once.

As the three Tenju Masks landed the nature of how the challengers moved would leave at least one of them unattended. The leader landed just a few meters away from Dynatos as the Fanalis prepared for an attack. The Expert Swordsman would raise his katana-like blade and perform a single 15m/s overhead slash aiming to bisect the fighter. The Tengu Mask which landed near Raizel would also use his Expert Swordsman skills, however he would use them to parry the human's slash to the side before stepping to the outside of the attack and aiming a stab towards Raizel's thigh. The third and Final Tengu mask would land in a position that put him behind Dynatos and to the side of Raizel but this beast did not attack, instead opting to watch and wait for an opportunity where he would be needed as it seemed like his kin were handling things well enough on their own.

The world seemed to go in slow motion as Dynatos watched the Tengu leader attempt to split him in two. Dynatos increased his speed and managed to dodge the attack and used that opening in the Tengu leader to send a powerful kick to his neck. Dynatos's goal? To snap the neck of the winged man. Ares would come to his senses and notice the lone Tengu. Ares stayed alert at its movements and just in case it tried to attack Dynatos or Raizel's blind spots Ares would act, but hopefully it did not come to that. This dungeon was already proving to be quite the challenge.

Raizel managed to execute his attack on one of the Tengu the moment it landed, however, it managed to parry his attack in a skilled way. His blade was knocked to the side, and as the Tengu began to get ready to perform a stab towards him, Raizel masterfully performed a move he had practiced so much for; "Dodge Step". The reason he did this was three-fold. The first reason was to dodge the attack. The second reason was to create an attack of opportunity. A stab that missed would normally create a huge window of opportunity, since the target's weapon is stretched out, and their footing is out of the place to dodge easily. And the third reason he did this was because he didn't want to be pincered. Being in the middle is a huge disadvantage, and Raizel is takung the first opportunity he get to get out of it.

Utilizing the instant speed buff provided by his "Dodge Step", Raizel took a huge step to the side at the speed of 20m/s before performing a slash on the Tengu. If the Tengu is defeated, Raizel would immediately charge towards the idle Tengu. If his opponent is not defeated yet, Raizel would prepare for another attack.

Abilities used:

The Tengu leader took the Fanalis' kick to the face and was sent flying a few meters before crashing lifelessly into a nearby tree. Meanwhile, the one Raizel was fighting blinked through its mask as it watched the human dodge its attack only to attack after he'd already moved away. Raizel's blade would cut through open air and touch nothing as his body traveled away from the Tengu Mask at 20m/s. Since the human put range between them, the Tengu mask resorted to its only long distance attack and performed a Feather Barrage by flourishing its cloak to send a volley of 15 feathers covered in wind blades at the man at a speed of 15m/s.  The would reach 20m away allowing them to just barely reach the farthest possible ending point of Raizel's side step.

The last Tengu Make would charge at Dynatos looking to use it's Expert Swordsman skills to slash at the man to take revenge for it's fallen leader but it failed to notice that it had already gained Ares' attention.

((Because Raizel attacked after performing his dodge, he would not be in range to actually hit his target. But the full dodge step would put him almost far enough to escape the feather barrage's effective range so it was not a completely lost cause.))

Dynatos sighed in relief as he had taken down the most dangerous of the Tengu. He hadn't noticed the Tengu that was charging at him, but Ares had. Ares took off like a bat out of hell towards the Tengu that was charging his master. Ares would reach the tengu long before it would reach Dynatos. Ares pounced on it and bite at its neck trying to rip it off. Dynatos watched as Raizel was being attacked, but there was nothing he could do he was to far way to make a difference. All he could do was yell. "Look out!" Dynatoa prayed that Raizel would hear him and somehow someway be able to react in time.

After dodging the attack, and moving 20m away, Raizel embarassed himself by attacking the air. "Goddamnit, I need to learn to control this skill; I'm still not used to it." Thought Raizel. Suddenly, he saw the Tengu preparing to launch its feathers, the same move done by them against Dynatos. This time he was prepared, and he ran to his right, even before Dynatos shouted his warning, to get out of the feather's range. Once he was out of range, he started dashing towards the Tengu. As he dashed towards the Tengu, he was thinking, "I've been really useless this whole time. Dynatos had already taken down 3, and is about to take down his 4th one, yet I'm still stuck with one of them. I need to redeem myself soon, hopefully soon. I don't want to be a burden unto Dynatos." Once he was in range with the Tengu, he feinted a slash. Halfway through the slash, he would feint it and perform another slash in the form of an uppercut, to prevent it from being countered. Taking advantage of the hardness and strength of his B rank sword, He swung this attack with all his might, so that he might be able to deflect even a parry.

As the Tenju Mask aiming for Dynatos proceeded forwards it would find itself flanked by the Fanalis' trusty beast. The Tengu was pounced on from the side and it slashed out desperately dealing a small cut to Ares' underbelly before the canine tore the dungeon beasts throat open in a violent display. Ares would suffer a moderate wound, but the Tengu Mask was defeated. Unfortunately for the group, Raizel was not having an easy time with his own Tenju Mask. The red faced humanoid held it's blade at the ready in preparation to utilize its Expert Swordsman skills to meet the human's attack head on. As Raizel approached with a feint the Tenju Mask stepped back to dodge but saw Raizel cease from committing in order to perform an upwards slash. The Tengu would slash downwards is it stepped to the side and redirected Raizel's attack to strike nothing by formless empty air. Once again, he'd had his attack deflected in the face of the Tengu's ability, however this encounter forced the birdman into a position where his back would be facing the Fanalis leaving it open to attack.

((Just like when the Tengu was falling, it's ability allows it to parry your non-ability. The tier of your weapon and swordsmanship tactics don't matter in the face of an ability.))

Ares cringed from the pain but continued on. He accomplished his goal of taking out the Tengu that tried attacking Dynatos. Dynatos turned to see a dead tengu a Ares who had some blood running down his leg. A worried look came over Dynatos, but was soon taken away by Athena.He's going to be ok. Dynatos smiled then looked back at Raizel. Dynatos took off at full speed. He jumped into the air a few meters away so that he could not be heard by the tengu. Luckily for him the sun was in a position that would not give him away until it was to late for the tengu to do anything. Dynatos aimed his fist at the back of the head of the tengu. He was trying to shatter its skull.

As the Tengu dodges his attack, Raizel was just pissed. "Ok, Raizel, you're just sucking too much. This battle is your worst. You're just dragging Dynatos down. Heck, At this rate, you can say he solo-ed against everyone. Even Ares is more useful than you. If you don't start fighting for real, just get out of the damn dungeon and let Dynatos handle it himself." thought Raizel. Raizel's inner self couldn't take it. Neither can he. As Dynatos came, ready to land a kick on the Tengu's head, Raizel took a massive swing at the Tengu too as he stepped forward to close the gap. "I swear," thought Raizel, "if I continue to show my incompetence in our next fight, I will not forgive myself." Raizel meant business. He's sick and tired of showing his incompetence. He's gonna show what he's worth in their next fight, and he will, he swore, help Sloth gain the dungeon Djinn. Even if he has to sacrifice his life.


[OOC. Sorry for being useless to you Sloth :c I was trying to conserve my Magoi. I swear, the next fight we go to, I'll go all out.]

As the Tengu Mask stepped the the side it held it's blade at the ready prepared to counter any more sword slashes Raizel decided to send his way. The expert swordsmanship of the masked fighter was giving the human a hard time and it could see the way this frustrated him in Raizel's expression and body language. The feather cloaked humanoid beast slashed its own sword to clash with Raizel's angered slash causing sparks to fly through the air should their blades meet. However no such clash would ever take place as the flying kick from Dynatos crashed into the back of the Tengu's skull crushing it violently. The beast stumbled forwards, it's slash falling away leaving it's chest open to be torn open by Raizel's sword. The large cleaving wound combined with the crushed skull was more than enough to defeat the final Tengu mask leaving the dungeon beast little to do but fall to the floor and die.

Dynatos sighed as it was finally over. He turned to Ares and Athena and head back towards them. He looked at Ares and seen that he was fine from his earlier injury. "It's good that your ok Ares." Dynatos said with a smile patting the large canines head. Dynatos then looked at the bodies and Raizel. "It looks like everyone is ok. Let's keep a move on. We've wasted quite a lot of time here." Dynatos would turn and head towards the the cave of the mountain. Ares and Athena followed closely behind him, as the group continued on through the dungeon.

As Raizel was about to throw his slash at the Tengu with all his frustation and anger, Dynatos managed to land a kick on the tengu's head too, and that allowed Raizel to FINALLY land a hit without any parries. He slashed the body of the tengu as the blood spluttered all over him. He then went to the nearby river to rinse the blood away from his sword and body, though some of the blood managed to stay on his clothes. After that, he followed Dynatos as they headed off to the cave, where a door stood.
