The Coliseum
An ancient structure that has been the home of Reim’s entertainment for generations now. It is a sacred place where warriors are either born in the blood of their enemies or go to be slain. The coliseum offers players the chance to test their fighting skills against NPCs or other players and earn experience and huang in return! One only needs to sign up for a match, player-based or NPC-based, to get started and earn their name among the legends!


Coliseum Basic Rules


  • Death is viable here and all matches are carefully watched to ensure accuracy in damage calculations.
  • Fights cannot occur between people 2 tiers apart. (A D-tier could not fight a B-tier.)
  • No using Djinn equips (this includes household abilities, weapon or djinn equip)
  • No Magi’s allowed
  • 48 Hour Post limit, failure to post within this time frame means you are skipped for that post and the person you are fighting is able to take advantage of that.
    If a person notifies staff members and the person they are fighting that they have to leave the site during the time frame of their fight this rule can be put on hold
  • Matches can follow these amount of warriors 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 2v2.
  • Must bet between 2,000 huang and 10,000 huang when fighting player verses player
  • Matches must be posted in the Battlegrounds.
  • All attacks, both abilities and basic attacks, must be in bold in order for a match to be approved.
  • Once a player is killed or knocked out, the match is over. No overkilling allowed!
  • If a player IC forfeits before any killing blows are done the match is over! If an attack is already heading towards them and they cannot dodge or block and try to forfeit, they will be hit by that blow and take damage before forfeiting the match, if said blow is a killing one then they will die.



Coliseum Reward Information
As stated earlier you can win experience and huang here but how much all determines on the fights! When fighting player versus player fights, each contender will place a bet at the start of the fight before any action begins.


  • Fights between players of the same tier will earn the total betting pot reward x3 (split if a team) and experience of a mission of their tier (per person)
  • If a winner/ total team’s tier of a match is a lower tier by 1 tier of the enemy they are fighting the reward will be the total starting pot x4 (split if a team) and the experience of a mission one tier higher than their own (per person)
  • If a winner/ total team’s tier of a match is a tier higher than the enemy then they will earn the total starting pot’s winnings x2(split if a team) as well as the experience of a single mission that is 1 tier lower than their current(per person)
  • NPC fights will give experience and Huang that is equal to a mission of that enemy’s tier. This excludes the fight against Decimus.


NPC Matches

  • NPC matches are priced at 3,000 huang.
  • Any NPC fights must be B-tier or lower. All fights of A-tier and higher must be between players, aside from the Reim Omega-tier opponent.
  • If fighting an NPC, at least half of their listed abilities must be used for the match to be approved.



Other Basic Coliseum Information



  • The arena in the Coliseum is protected by a magical barrier, keeping attacks from hitting the audience and keeping the audience out of the arena.
  • Maximum flight height is 80 meters.
  • The Coliseum is 150 meters long and 70 meters wide made out of basic tile, with statues dotting the walls. There are no weapons available on the Coliseum battle grounds.
  • If you die here you will only lose 10 magoi/stamina permanently instead of the 20 that you would in the other areas.

This swift fighter moves at a base speed of 7m/s and 10m/s when sprinting. He carries an old but reliable sword loaned out by the coliseum capable of dealing C-tier cutting damage each blow. He is known for being an evasive counter fighter and can anticipate incoming attack trajectories with his years of skill and experience.

Steadfast Hold ~ A firm defensive stance followed by a striking movement made with the user's shield at 15m/s. This strike aims to clash with an incoming attack before batting it away parrying its trajectory safely away from the user. Capable of blocking up to 1 B-tier ability within a 3m range.

Sliding Board ~ The user anticipates an incoming attack and raises their shield to block it. The user then turns the shield and moves behind it as they allow the attack to slide off the shield harmlessly. The movement to position the shield occurs at a speed of 10m/s and it can be used within a 3m range blocking up to 1 C-tier ability.

Forward Cleave ~ The user leaps forwards up to 10m away from his starting position and slashes violently with his sword in a dowards blow. The slash moves at a speed of 15m/s and the leap 10m/s. If the strike succeeds it will do B-tier cutting damage.

Abilities:

Aquillia is best known for her use of her mid to long range attacks with her bow, Ifrit. Her experience as a ranger constantly on the move has given her the ability to immediately burst her speed to start out running. Her jogging speed is 2.5 m/s, running at 6 m/s and sprinting at 9 m/s. Her attacks with the bow are devastating, and can deal A-tier damage. Occasionally an opponent gets close enough to her and forces her to use her dagger Glyph, which cuts fairly well and deals C-tier damage.


Multi Shot: Once per post, Aquillia can fire off up to 4 arrows with one draw of the bow. These arrows move at a speed of 30 m/s with a range of 60 m. The strength of the attack is spread across the arrows, each dealing C tier damage.

Explosive Arrow: Ifrit also functions as a Magic Tool with the heat element. It has the ability to, once every other post, charge the arrows fired from it to create an explosion that deals C-tier damage to everything within 2 meters of the explosion.

Grand Explosion: Ifrit works in tandem with a special arrow, residing within the quiver named Zeph, which was made specifically with explosions in mind. Zeph is a Magic Tool with the heat element in the form of a secondary quiver which can only hold 1 arrow at a time. It charges the arrow with a predisposition towards explosives, though by itself is unable to explode. When fired, the arrow moves at 30 m/s for up to 60 m., creating an explosion that is 20m in diameter that deals A tier damage to anything in its blast. The explosion expands at 30m/s. A new arrow requires time to charge, and thus this attack may only be made once every third post.

Arrow Shockwave: Aquillia selects a special arrow from her quiver that, once fired, screeches through the air at 25m/s, for up to 50m. It flies with piercing strength, dealing B tier damage to anything it touches.

This rising favorite, another Fanalis warrior, moves at a base speed of 10m/s and 15m/s when sprinting. As a Fanalis, he fights with his bare hands and relies on muscle memory from past battle experience of the fights he has been in to get him through a match. Just recently arrived from Heliohapt three months ago, he has become known enough that people look forward to his show of brute strength.


Bursting Parry ~  Zai quickly slaps an attack out of the way from going towards him by aiming for the hand that holds the weapon or is delivering the attack while simultaneously side-stepping the attack. This defends against a single attack that would deal B-Tier damage.

Bursting Strike ~ Using his strength to his advantage, Zai delivers a corkscrew punch to his opponent. This punch delivers B-Tier damage, which spreads in a 5 meter area when it strikes a target. If hitting the ground, this would effectively destroy a portion of the ground with explosive force.

Flurry of Blows and Feints ~ Zai delivers 5-10 punches, each of which imparts D-Tier damage to a target struck. Some of these punches are used as feints, while others are meant to strike an opponent in places that would disorient them.

Abilities:
This swift fighter moves at a base speed of 8m/s and 12m/s when sprinting. She carries a large Shuriken that deals B-tier cutting damage. She is known for being very fast and difficult to hit, while throwing out playful taunts to her opponents.

Slicing Wheel ~ The shuriken is thrown at 20m/s in a way that is designed to come back to Shusara. The shuriken can move up to 20 meters away and deals B-tier damage if it strikes an opponent.

Deflecting Spin ~ The shuriken is held with one hand and spun in a circle at 20m/s. Any incoming direct attack is redirected away from the user at 20m/s.

Slice and Dice ~ The users quickly leaps around at 15m/s, hopping in small 1 meter increments up to 10 times, moving around an opponent and slicing with each jump. If the opponent is struck 5 times, C-tier damage is dealt, if all 10 land, B-tier damage is dealt.

Dodging Roll ~ The users rolls to the side at 15m/s, moving up to 15 meters away, to avoid taking damage or to reposition for a better offensive strategy.

after further review, this fight needs to be re-written. You need to state when an opponent is using their abilities, much like you do your own. You also need to RP out her actually forfeiting, preferably by doing actual damage to her at some point. A coliseum opponent is not likely to forfeit just because they have no weapon. You are too vague about when her abilities are being used which makes it difficult to determine actual damage calculations.
