Every few years, near the borders and into the walls of Magnostadt a perverted event of greed had been held. People had been sold exotic goods, the relics of ancients stolen, and even the form of monsters that lurked the night. It was often headed by the man that brought for the beasts, and while his money still flowed in the markets that had set up, his creations had yet to show their face. Still, he wished for people to enjoy themselves every so often.
By early morning more than a hundred shops had already been set up. Most had trinkets, simple mundane items, the real show was from those bringing the bright new creations of the Academy's finest. Since magic tool creation had fully been achieved, innovation had boomed to a point unimaginable just a decade ago. It had only been when mages first began the craft of emulating and cracking into the tools found within the dungeons. Their magic offered much insight, and now greater discoveries had led to a boon in the efficiency of these powerful instruments. The whim of their conductor, commanding this grand orchestra to shape the world with their innovation. Plenty of Mangostadts powerful hated how their discoveries had found their way to foreign lands. None had known it came from one of their own, from the very soul who had also spliced the genes of dungeon beasts into a man. It was a power beforehand only achieved by magi and djinn alike. They found themselves on equal footing in grace, now outside their home, wandering this makeshift bizarre. Typhon was on the street.
It had first started within the walls of Mangostadt, from their funding about eight years ago. Every few years or so it seems to come back, this now being the third one come to happen. Now it was almost like an illegal gathering before goi needed to sneak in or have a chaperone. Now, they flooded the market with mages alike as people hired guards to protect their shops. This was far behind Typhon's funding, their creations would have no appearance this year either. There was one gift so far, but nothing as grand as before. It was a series of items, for those who wished to keep their identity protected during such activities. Disguises of a fun nature, for you never knew when the law or bitter buyers would go hunting.
"It would be a shame to not participate at all though." Typhon twisted something around their right hand's middle finger. A small ring, glowed until four perfect illusions would appear, each with their own voice, each with a crow that came from Typhon themself. "Go, see how our guests are enjoying the festivities. It would be a shame... if there was no show." Each was given a glass vial as well, a gift from their father to grow the family. Their creator made sure to leave them free from disguise.
Each would begin to wander the markets, there were plenty of shops as well, plenty to visit. There were plenty of surprises, while many had been bidding for days now, with the end near there were always late sellers. There was a shop, in which people bought legends, stories, or keys to greater tools. It was told artifacts were found there as well, even contractors or people looking for allies were looking to sell their companionship.
