Since Gero would be here for a minute he had already sent word to the clan member of his location, and request aid. His clan decide to sent Tozu a key member in the stealth department and was good enough to support Gero if he comes into any trouble.
That was further down the line though as of right now Gero had decided to make himself feel at home. He did this by simply going around the house, and picking up broken objects, or just cleaning up. It didn't take him too long to clean the house now he would have to take a look at the outside he already knew there would be more work.
Letting out a sigh he was getting up in age he couldn't wait until he could have a man service him. But for him to attain that he must first make it out of this war-forsaken country.
Heliohapt is a war-torn country between 3 different factions from what Gero understands. The sides were nobles, rebels, and slaves
the truth of the matter this country was going to hell. This village is an example of what is next to come.
However, Gero has used this chance to establish his connection with the people of this land, and attain some useful information. Now he wishes to establish his faction built to bring global peace at all cost. He knew he couldn't do it all on his own though he needs more members that why he was here.
To build a strong foundation, and to be welcome within the Kou Empire as either a Commander or General the purpose of reenlisted is to either exceed your former rank or retain your former position. Instead, Gero had to start over that didn't bother him though instead, he used that to fuel him. Right now the task at hand was to get this house in a better condition just enough for him to stay a couple of nights before he heads off.
His old bones made it hard for him to travel long distances it would not be soon before he would have to get an amount to make his traveling easier. However, he knew this world wasn't easy since he was in a village that constantly been plunder.
The defense of this house wasn't as good as he would like however it would due for now. Maybe he could board up the house just in case some tried to attack him. Letting out a grunt he played with the idea as he begins to look for a hammer, nails, and pieces of wood he could use to board up the house.
It didn't take long for Gero to find a hammer and some nails. But he couldn't find much wood so he would have to make do with what he had at hand. There was some furniture he could use as boards all he had to do is break it down the put them up. For now, he settle to just board up the windows, and the door at night so he could peacefully sleep.
