Day 1~ Talking to the rukh was the best way to further her understanding in magic. She'd sit under the palm tree feeling the warmth of the sun, her legs crossed as her staff sat upon her lap. She'd spent some with practical theory, she'd spend time on the books. Now she was ready to put in some fieldwork, at least the best she could do. In this case, it would be connecting with the rukh and trying to actualize her training.
Staring out towards the ocean she'd take a tap breath, it was best to probably get to work. Her best way to improve was to feel the world around her. To feel its weight, its push, how it held itself together. As she reached out into the world feeling the pull of the rukh she tried to understand it further. When she spoke to the rukh normally she could make it spark, have the connection in the world shoot forward to create something interesting. It was the first step to understanding how she could understand the world more. Her connection to it was strong, but she had to be better. She didn't have the same resources as most mages, so it was her chance to find the way.
