Job Overview: The Kazeharu clan now knowing that they can count on you to return things of value to them without stealing they have decided you are worthy to help them with more difficult tasks for compensation. In this case, they've heard of a group of thugs who keep destroying their lamplight magic tools and asked you to go to their hideout in the forest and take care of them.
It was a fine morning today with a great weather. It was not too sunny which was great and the wind was blowing gently as well, making people want to go out and take a walk. However, still lying on her futon, Noir was trying to wake herself up with a lot of difficulties after staying up late to read her books. Not to mention that the only lightning that she had was this small fire from the burned candle so it was basically harder for Noir to read her books properly. She could just...cast a simple light magic to help her to read comfortably, but she didn't want to disturb other people so she ended up deciding to not cast the light magic. Also, as much as she wanted to sleep again, she wouldn't be able to do so because she already had a plan to go out and explore the country. So with a really forced effort to get out from her futon and getting herself ready, Noir decided she would still do what she had planned before.
Noir was kind of surprised when the Kazeharu clan send a messenger to her, asking for her to visit the clan's manor once again in the middle of the road. However the messenger said that it will be an invitation to show how grateful they were for the magician's help to find their missing...or scattered belongings. As much as the girl wanted to refuse because she didn't mind to offer her help anytime, she was still curious about the clan. Perhaps she should really just pay a visit, she wanted to ask about this magic item as well, since apparently that was what the clan got famous for, wasn't it?
So the black haired girl followed the messenger before arriving in the manor of no other than the Kazeharu clan. She would be escorted inside of this room where some officials from the clan had been waiting with a big, anticipating smile. "Please take a seat, kind Miss." One of the clansmen would make a gesture, asking Noir to sit on the floor pillow and would still insist until the girl took seat there. For some people, sitting on the cushion with a very strict gesture would feel a little bit weird actually. But she thanked her past experience as a slave that allowed her to sit with a straight posture and folded knees easily on top of the cushion.
"I apologize for sending you a message suddenly, we would like to properly thank you. We are very grateful for your help to retrieve our missing items." The man bowed towards Noir, showing a lot of respect and gratitude. "We also have another request, we are hoping you could help us on this matter… we don't really have the resources to do this. However… please wait for another person to come in first before I start to explain more."
-
After the invited guests were ready in the room together, one of the officials will continue his explanation. "There are some people who keep destroying our lamplight magic, we would like to ask for your help to deal with this matter." He would pause a little bit, studying his guests' expression before continuing, "Recent information that we have at the moment is that they have a hideout in the forest. Please help us, kind foreigners."
