Job Name: The Ring Closes In
Job Rank: B
Job Location: Mt. Raiji
Job Reward: 200XP | 15,000 Huang
Job Prerequisites: Pledge yourself to the Hinamoto, the Shikizui or the Morihana
Job Overview: The Shikizui’s base camp on Mt Raiji has been infiltrated by Kogata spies. They have spread throughout the five shrines surrounding the Shikizui encampments, disguising themselves as commoners on pilgrimage to the monks’ healing springs. To make matters worse, the Kazeharu have started to set up a sixth shrine spreading their native religion, undermining the authority of the Hinamoto’s state religion. Attracting too much attention towards both incidents would damage the Hinamoto’s religious authority, so you must choose either to investigate the five pre-existing shrines or the new sixth one. The former option would require dealing with the disguised Kogata spies to expose their identities before they finish their surveyance of the area. The latter option would require hijacking the building process of the sixth shrine by taking out the Kazeharu soldiers, all so that their priests cannot disseminate their different and contrary religious ideas.
