~The Djinn of Choice and Consequence~

Structure

The Gate
The 16th Dungeon, The Djinn of Choice and Consequence, Ipos 0cb0cf51ff8f4d4c6e92ea4602ba62bc

Appearing in the middle of a forest a towering dungeon with what appears to be multiple wings and towering turrets it seems impossible to tell where the center might be. In front of the walls and at the top of the stairs guards stand ready to stop people while letting those worthy enough to pass, though they stand uneasy as the area around the dungeon is filled with nothing but the eerily constant and harmonious song that bellows from seemingly every inch of the dungeon.
The Main Hall
The 16th Dungeon, The Djinn of Choice and Consequence, Ipos Maxresdefault

A winding cavern with etched walls it seems like it has a purpose of sorts. There are remnants of pathways and with multiple ways to go, it seems easy to get lost in. Each path taking you to a drastically different place it makes one wonder how they are to find the proper path through such a place.

The Midway

An ornately carved hall made of marble, bronze, and gold it's expansive size making one feel as if they were in a building meant to house millions at once. There are shuffling people moving around the rooms and operating the desks despite their faces being hard to discern. The walls of the hall are either covered with pieces of art or carved with images of singing or wailing women.

Enemies

  • Discordant Screecher
  • Banshee
  • The Lady of the opera

The Necropolis
The 16th Dungeon, The Djinn of Choice and Consequence, Ipos J-c-park-seaside-castle

Previously a beautiful coastal town known for its culture and the beauty found within its border has now been turned into a ghost town. With multiple buildings made of white stone and marble, the one that sticks out the most is the palace that sits atop an enormous waterfall. The only thing more staggering than the obvious destination was the song that resonated from it and filled the town.

Enemies

  • The Wayward Choir
  • The Banshee Queen

A massive throne-room made from black marble, and other dark stones. Decorated with red banners laced with gold and covered with symbols of some unknown origin. Candles light the room littering the place and lining up to the throne, a massive chair with steps covered with a red carpet only made more imposing by the obsidian jutting by the side. Behind the throne, arches separate the room from dark halls whose only purpose serves to carry noise.

SIREN

An amazing singer whose one true purpose is to fool you with their voice so that they may lure you into their deadly clutches. They may seem nice and lovely at first but it's usually not long before they let their true intentions be known and not long before you end up becoming their snack.

TRAITS
Code:
[b]Trait Name:[/b]Siren Physiology
[b]Trait Tier:[/b] -
[b]Trait Requirement:[/b] Siren Race
[b]Trait Description[/b] A race of Avian-like people they have feathers around their body, generally around their arms, hair, and neck. Besides these, they also have talons and larger scaled hands that look like they were meant for gripping and shredding prey. They also have large bird-like wings on their back despite their inability to fly.
[b]Trait Effect:[/b]
[list]
[*] The Siren's intimidating appearance is generally hidden by a pheromone they produce, anyone within 100 meters of the siren who smells this pheromone will see the siren as a beautiful man, or woman who seems frail and need of assistance. If the Siren attacks or the scent gets blocked their true form will become visible.

[*] The sirens large avian wings are incapable of flight, but due to their size and strength they can be used as weapons dealing B-tier Damage. (Size is dependent on character's height, but they generally have a wingspan double their height)

[*]The siren's talons are meant for locking prey and tearing them apart being able to deal B-tier damage either through slashing or gripping/pinning things within their talons.

[*] Besides being wonderful singers the siren's voice is also their most deadly weapon. Capable of letting out sonic screeches at most 20 meters in length and 10 meters in diameter it does A-tier damage to anyone it hits. (Sirens are also capable of registering abilities using their voice as a weapon.)

[*] The same reason sirens are relegated to attracting prey to them their feathers are highly susceptible to water. Sirens are not only unable to swim, but their feather absorb water and they begin to sink after one post of being stuck in water.

[*] Has human Magoi/Stamina pools

 [/list]

BANSHEE QUEEN

The herald of death with a voice to match, A Banshee Queen is a monster with few rivals in strength found in the monster world. Despite her already terrifying strength, one must watch for when she shows her true form and sings your requiem.

TRAITS
Code:
[b]Trait Name:[/b]Bansee Queen Physiology
[b]Trait Tier:[/b] -
[b]Trait Requirement:[/b] Banshee Queen Race
[b]Trait Description:[/b] No longer a physical being a Banshee queen finds themselves removed from the cycle of life and death. With an ethereal form that can disperse and reform together, they appear as a pale ghost with grey mists that follow them. A generally depressing Aura surrounds them making them seem a perfect representation of the dreaded song of death.
[b]Trait Effect:[/b]
[list]
[*] A Banshee Queen is Incorporeal, meaning that physical attacks do not harm them and instead pass through them without causing any actual damage. Instead a Banshee's life is tied to their Magoi. Whenever an attack goes through the queen it costs them 20 magoi. When the Banshee Queen runs out of magoi and "dies" she dissipates. The Banshee Queen is not truly dead, however, at the cost of 100 xp and a 1000 wc post the Banshee Queen can reform.

[*] Gain the Ability to register 5 sound magic abilities of which one may be A-tier.

[*] Has access to C-tier flight which carries the sound of a wailing woman wherever the banshee flies.

[*] As true to their name the Banshee is a herald of death whose touch helps guide you closer to their realm. Each post The Banshee Queen is touching someone will drain them of 10 stamina.

[*] Unlike most Banshee's the Banshee Queen hides her true power and once a thread for 20 Magoi she can double her size, but not only this the Banshee finds themselves becoming more frightening as their faces become long with sharp teeth and a meter long tongue. To this point they also gain mouths on their hands which they can use the same as their normal mouth. In this form the Banshee Queen's drain is increased to 20 stamina for each post and her flight is increased to B-tier speed. However, if dispersed in this state the Banshee Queen will take double time to reform due to her increased size, and if dispersed three times she will turn back to normal.

[*] Due to the Banshee Queen's nature she can be forced to temporarily disperse if hit with enough force equal to her tier. If dispersed she will take two posts to reform anywhere within 20 meters within where she was originally dispersed.

[*]Keeps Previous Magoi/Stamina Pools

 [/list]

Rules

  • You must post within 48 hours from when it has become your turn. If you do not, you are subject to being hit directly by one of the enemies or some other form of punishment.
  • If an enemy does not post within 48 hours, you are free to presume that your hit went through and killed it.

Passive: Harmonies of Ipos- Ipos being known for sounds that transcend natural beauty with their ability to resonate with the world this has transferred to the music of the djinn's weapon. This takes the form that whenever the Djinn's weapon clashes with something it begins to resonate with the world around it as it creates sound waves that emanate from the striking point outwards to a diameter of 5 meters. This sound-wave carries forward the strength of the strike causing damage equal to the weapon's tier to all people, beast, items within its range. This soundwave also has the added benefit of being extremely pleasant sounding. (Note: The KC is attuned to this harmony and is always on the same frequency meaning that the tune does no harm to their form)
