the ivory comb heist (job/solo)

Job:

After meeting the representative of the Hinamoto family and explaining why he wanted to join the clan and his ambitions he explained what Silva was supposed to do next. "So you have completed the first part, now it is time for you to complete 2 different tasks. The first will be perfect for someone with you..history. You are required to steal a comb from a geisha. The geisha works at a tea house a couple of blocks away from here, called the Red Tile. Once you are there it is up to you to find and steal the comb. The comb is ivory with a red lotus on it, you will notice it when you see it. It goes without saying not to be caught by anyone trying to steal it. Come back when you complete the task and I will inform you on the next one." He would nod then walk off. Silva would just sit there at the tree trying to figure out how to steal this comb. He uses stealth but he cant remember if he ever used his abilities for stealing before or not. He would have to choose rather a busy time or a quiet time. With a quiet time there will be less eyes to spot him but more obvious to see what he was doing. However, if it was busy he would be able to blend into the crowd easier. He would decide what time to break in later. First he would need to watch the tea shop for awhile and decide what to do after a day or two. He would get up and go to find a place first before continuing with this task. He had a lot to think about now so this was gonna take awhile.

He would start the next day by scoping out the tea house. He would begin this by being one of the guests of the teas house. It seemed like a nice enough place with women keeping the men company as they eat, have tea and converse. Now normally he would not mind being around all of the beautiful ladies, he had a job to do that he had to focus on. The woman he was looking for was one of the favorites it seemed. It was quite clear she was the target because she was wearing a bright white comb with the scarlet symbol on top of it. He was not currently sure how he was going to take it. He could always try to take it from her person yet that may be a bit too risky. He would have to see if she wears it everyday or takes it off sometimes. He would leave just to come back that night. He would scale the building to the second story looking through each window till he found the one she was sleeping in. She could see he in her bed with the comb on the nightstand next to her. He wasn't sure if he could get to it as he could tell the floor was old and would make plenty of noise if he walked on it. He sighs as he would have to take it from her during business hours.

He would spend the next couple of days continuing to watch and observe. He was not just observing the geisha but everyone in the tea house, the other geisha and the regulars that frequent this establishment. You see assassination was not much different from stealing, the only difference was the outcome. For both you observe the targets and use stealth and distractions to your advantage. Unlike assassinations though you just steal from the target instead of trying to end their life, which it is much easier to kill a target then to steal from one.

Well he was running out of liable options to steal from this woman. Her room was too risky and there was a good chance of getting caught if he bumps into her to steal it. He could try to start a brawl in the entire tea house. If he made subtle moves to incite a fight then he could just blend into the crowd and go ahead to steal her comb. Starting a confrontation to engulf this tea house should be easy enough. He just needs to whisper into some ears and pocket some items and he should instantly become a fly on the wall. He would look and observe once again. There was a large man who seemed to be some kind of gangster or other kind of criminal. He would most likely be an easy target to anger and redirect that anger onto someone else. On the other side of the room sat a group of samurai or ronin who were taking a break from the busy days they deal with. So his plan would now become to entice and spur on this brawl and use the confrontation to take the comb and run.

He would go up to the large man talking to him. He was playing the ruse of a frail old man, this was a simple disguise for him since he in fact looked like a frail old man for the most part. He would tell the man that the samurai in the back were talking about him and insulting the man's honor for being a criminal and gangster. He would snarl and get up rushing over towards the small group and immediately punches one of the men. That the the moment that all chaos would erupt. The first punch would incite the brawl which would make others want to participate which would blow out into every man and some women fighting each other. The geisha was trying to stop 2 men from fighting when Silva would stroll by her as he leaves the tea house. after he left she would eventually notice that he comb was gone. He would smile as he heads back towards the fig tree he met the messenger at bringing the comb to him. This task had proved difficult but he feels that it made him a more skillful assassin.
