Invasive Flames and Species:

Vodarara lived for and within the pristine balance of Imuchakk, it was a period of oddities and disappearances that first drew his attention. Odd news about outsider and creatures on the far peninsula's and creature disappearances drew Vodarara’s attention most significantly drawing him to investigate and observe the situation from afar as well as to hear the stories of the Imuchakk from those regions.

As usual he was adorned in a thick assortment of hides and furs to maintain his temperature, an armed, tailed and hooded poncho like furred chest piece overlayed his body hide, the underside concealed a shimmering carapace. Under this somewhat heavy but loose bodied garb, under-which Vodarara was able to assort his equipment that could be easily accessed for duties or to be used as improvised weapons, if it came to it.
Vodarara's left hand was adorned and embraced within a clawed and scaled gauntlet, possibly recognisable to some as a cut from the Ice Warden's of the Ice Dragon's lair. His left hand covered with a thick hide glove topped with a hardened gem plate, obscured by a piece of fur.
Vodarara's Legs were covered in hide leggings packed thick with fur and fibres to contain the body warmth. Suitable to have another thicker and furred set of leggings to be worn.
Finally, his boots wide based for ease of traversing to snow, large and thick for maintaining warmth.

He was joined by his family of companion’s as they set off with enough supplies to support them for a journey to an outlying settlement within the region that had sparked the comments and possible unease within some the Imuchakk.

Vodarara thus sought to head out and investigate and observe the situation before he would make a decision on acting further or not. After all it was reckless to rush into conflict as conflict risked injury and injury risked death, he would lurk from the snow and learn, study and assess once he arrived of course.

On the bank of the water is where they sat. Wood met ice where the sideways turned oaken, iron-plated boat was now a longhouse base. Knights gathered around, many sitting around the fire sharpening their weapons, other looking at the animals of Immuchak which now sat in gritty iron cages. It was summer so there were plenty of other animals to be around the banks in fear, of the strange blue-steel armored individuals. There were other structures made of wood, well-built houses by the looks of it, houses that despite what the natives had known were warm. These people were taking quicker to the land, in a land meant only for the Immuchak.

He sat among the crowd, his swarm flying around, many of his side detachment gone but 20 of his side, fully prepared in guard. Tor would have a grin on his face as he would drink a warm glass of milk, his face showing delight often absent on the face of the Sasan Knights. His tanned face reflected his warm nature as he tried to bring a little joy. "Come on everyone, look how strange some of the animals here look, they'll provide a wonderful source of food!" He would pick up the foot of a bunny nearby, it was leftovers from the stew currently in their bowls. "Don't rabbit why we're here everyone. This could be valuable land, the animals despite the scarcity seem to be high in fat, some seem to taste pretty good as well."

He joked but they needed to find a dungeon, the king was very direct about his urgency. They needed more land, they needed this world to be safe for them. His parents and grandparents always stressed how important was to protect that kingdom as it provided safety for their family and provided sanctuary to an ancestor long ago. He was uncertain, but Tor was very resolute in knowing that King Xerxes had provided well for his family, for their kingdom, so he owed him a great debt for that.

He would eat his soup, taking a couple of bites, before drinking down the rest, making sure to take big gulps as to avoid slurping. Making once again another satisfied grin he would gather before his troops. They would all line up, their lances and shields both at the ready. As the twenty Sasan Knight before him got into formation the beast tamer would begin to relay commands while some of the squires cleaned up the mess. "Alright men, we've got some of the Miner-moles in some of our other encampments. The people seem aware that many have come here and died before, however, they don't know our camps are prepared for the winter" He would take a pause, his voice warmly spoke the apathetic orders. "With our beasts here we can take advantage of mines deeps within volcanic areas if we can find some, otherwise we can be on the lookout for the main objective. While you'll travel with me I'll be sending detachments from camps 2 and 3 to raid the nearby villages and try to capture more wildlife."

These men strange men of steel came here in their odd ships, deceiving homes, and unbeknownst to them with the full intent of purification. "This island of pure white and opportunity is another land rightfully for Sasan. We shall make the life here like it's landscape, for our King we shall bring everything into the reign and enlightenment of Sasan, or they shall perish otherwise."

It was uncertain what was to come, for the onlooker approaching only danger would be seen. This was nothing but a threat to the very life of Immuchak, this was more than a crusade, this was an eradication and replacement in the works.

The time across the turning tundra, through the occasional boreal forest and Rocky outlooks was always rough, not just the environment but the creatures that lived out in the wilderness always looked for soft prey and thus an individual had to have its own "presence" to drive off the beast's considerations of predating on ones-self.

After all, it would be a waste to fight a creature and suffer injuries. In this frost-borne world it was important to avoid suffering needless injury even the lightest of injuries could become swiftly worse and major injuries could easily be a death sentence.

Vodarara continued his traversal of the wilderness, watching his environment as he always did. He endeavoured to avoid any hunt at this time. His only target was to reach an outlying settlement where he could hear an Elder's story of these "newcomers", you needed to learn, know and study a creature. You couldn't just jump and attack a creature in its lair. If you did so it would almost certainly have the upper hand and cut you down with its talons, teeth or other such natural weapons.

As such, he had only one way to learn about these new creatures and that was to listen, study and encounter and the first port of call was with an settlement's elder.

As the Hunter would keep watch with vigilance the unknowing invaders would continue their day. Some of the folks around the camp were still eating, but he'd be able to see most of the minor troops start packing up their supplies and such. The camp seemed well defended, with the leader Tor, beginning to depart with his guard of 20.  His hand reaching to his beard in contemplation, emerald orbs darting around, scanning their surrounding. After a quick survey of his surroundings, the minor knight would issue out his commands to the group.

"Alright, I'd like for the main force to stay here and keep eyes on the camp. I'm going on a hunt for some more beasts, we found a den not far to the west, seemingly in a large forest before leading into a tundra. Since you're staying here I want to divvy out duties." His voice was controlled, young but clearly experienced at commanding his camp. "Have the squires skin the pelts, clean the meat out for supper. We've no housewives or sisters to tend for us here, I want dinner prepared by the time we get back, along with traps set up along the banks. If we don't return by sunset send out a scouting party."

HIs heavy foot would crunch in the snow as he walked forward,  going to a cage, his large hands would undo the silver lock. From inside a swarm of flame flickering flies would form around his, the insects bumping into, and resting on their master. His face seemed kind towards the insect, it was odd to keep them in a cage, but the bars were fine and it was the only way to keep them safe in transit to this icy island.

With the Helios swarm around him, the Minor knight would now begin to move out from the camp. Giving a warm smile as his goodbye he'd wave to his troops. He was kind, to his people at least. There would be a small flat area around 10m long between the shore and the forests. As Tor would move his knights 20 would stay around him, encircling their leader spacing themselves 1m away from him. The sapphire-steel ward would protect from unknown assaults. He didn't think there would be anyone who could hurt him. but he hadn't fought too many locals and any beast could bumrush them.

With their shields head high they would continue their march. The den seemed to consist of large porcine animals, they were rather defensive according to his reports. They would be useful for food supply, he could keep good face in front of his men but they needed to adapt fast. Sure they could build lasting settlements, but that wasn't the issue, the issue was going to learn to live off the land. Securing a food source was the first issue to solve.

The knight kept his thoughts as they marched. They had their mission, there was a chance it wasn't viable, but if all else failed there were still the natives. It may have been Immuchak but Sasan has come to claim, their crusading conquest gripping with an iron claw.

Vodarara seemed to have been in luck or maybe it was unlucky, he had crossed paths or rather he had made visual sight while working along the coast with creature’s that matched the rumours that he had heard. Their force was vast far more than he could handle on his own as he observed a camp that was situated around a sea-vessel, like none other that Vodarara had ever seen. It was “shiny” unlike the wood of the Imuchakk vessel’s.

While, he was easily out of hearing range of the individual’s at camp. His keen eyesight would allow him to watch individual’s and allow him to keenly look among individuals looking to identify gaps in equipment, routine and also who seemed to be the alpha’s or elders of the group. One of most interests seemed to be an individual that seemed to be plagued by a swarm of odd looking insects which Vodarara observed alongside odd emerald orbs that also seemed to follow the groups.

Vodarara intended to use his vision to at least gather a greater understanding of the creatures and phenominium of the green orbs. As a group of twenty armoured individuals's left with this one other individual, Vodarara looked to observe particular spacing between the pack of “human-like” creatures as well as individuals that appeared to be scouting or holding the rear guard, when and how they rotated.

Vodarara would continue to follow the individual’s from around three-quarters of his max sight would allow him, keeping himself and his companion’s low to the ground as they moved and occasionally closing to see in more finer detail, alone without his companion’s before slinking back off to range to avoid detection. Of course such actions would take significant time as Vodarara made sure to disrupt and destroy his trail as he tracked them.

He would see the group and a sapphire-steel coloured interaction that he tried to observe more thoroughly trying to understand what it did as the individual’s moved and began harassing the local wildlife. The defensive creatures they encountered and appeared to predate on and Vodarara gauging the creature’s strength of both parties looked to assess and analyse each group, so that he could judge these weird shiny individual’s. After all, he had to understand them if he had to make them his prey. As such, he would wait to see if they suffered any injuries during their encounter and also looked to see what route they took back to camp.

He was most interested to see if they would seek to follow their own footstep’s back to their camp or if they tried to find another route back. As they lacked knowledge of the terrain or so Vodarara believed he hoped they would follow their old steps.

If/When Vodarara was able to watch their return to camp. Hopefully, without detection Vodarara as he maintained his Camouflage(Hide Presence) over this time. He would make headway towards the local Imuchakk camp, he wished to enquire about what they had witnessed and knew and as such he would also make sure he made an effort to destroy his tracks yet again.

If the elder convinced him that they were a threat to be eliminated Vodarara would begin producing traps to deal with this issue, he of course would need to eliminate some of the herd to successfully strike as well as well as taking the alpha out swiftly and thus he needed to be prepared.

Even if this meant days of planning and making trades of furs and other materials he had gathered throughout his time to make a bigger catch, even if it meant using it to hire other eyes to make observe or other hands to make traps.
For now of course time was on his side, he could be patient and cautious.

Time would pass, snow beginning to gently fall around the hunter as he would wait. Vodarara would realize quickly that the group wasn't going to come back anytime soon. They had ventured deep into the woods, seemingly on an expedition, it was very likely that if left alone they could be in the woods for days. Since Voda had time checking with the nearby settlements was a good way to get info on the group invading his home. The nearest settlement would turn out to be 10 miles away, luckily for him, they were well aware of the strange people that have barged into their ecosystem.

The day would pass, the sun following him in the direction towards the closest village. He would trek through heavy snow and light snowfall, it wasn't the worst of conditions for sure. While traveling Voda would see minor signs of the group's infection, there were already patches of forest missing. The speckled taiga was a wound, it was clear they would only tear their way further through the beautiful pearl that was Immuchak.

Darker images aside the village would be up ahead. It was one of smaller size, about 30 huts in total, in a U fashion, with a large pyre in the center, then the chieftain's hut, along with a meeting hall. It was around time for the nightly gathering, stories would be told once the fire was lit. There was still some time as the sunset sky painted with its ruby hues, pinks,  purples, and misty blues. With the night soon to arrive the people would begin to gather for the lightning of the pyre.

The earth would shake as the 3.8m tall chieftain would lumber out of his cabin, it was normal for him to light the fire. As he approached the somewhat scraggly pile of logs he would stare displeased. His face would show a gleam of interest upon the sight of their guest Vodarara. He would approach the man with a couple of steps, covering the length of three grown men. While the hunter would ask for info on the invaders the large man would extend his hand in greeting.

"These invaders have been here for about two weeks now. They came on these strange ships, some camps farther down south have been stealing lumber, others have been hunting down animals." A look of concern and confusion would show on his face as he would continue to speak. "IT seems like they might be scouting for something else but we aren't really sure what they could be looking for, nor do we have any real proof to back it up."

After he was done speaking he would give Voda the chance to assess the situation. He would then offer some assistance to the man. "I can lend my aid and the aid of some of our most capable men but our village is small, it's why we've avoided confronting them even when they're on our territory. It seems like the one you're chasing right now is going after some animals dens in the nearby woods, they've been there for about 4 days collecting animals."

He would have his info it would now just be up to him to act. Embers would lift into the now dark sky, the chieftain and the rest of the crowd giving out a roaring "YAAH" matching the crackle of the flames engulfing the people of wood. It would be larger if the knights of Sasan hadn't taken such a large abundance of firewood and kindling material from the nearby woods.

Vodarara would have to battle through snowfall to reach the Imuchakk settlement after his pursuit of the expeditionary group. Fortunately, he made his arrival just shortly before nightfall when the Tundra would grow even more dangerous and not only due to lack of significant visibility.

The damage he had witnessed on his travel here was significant. It's odd fashion pointed fingers directly at the newcomers to the land that had begun ripping out tree's and the force seemed to intend to leave a scar in its wake.

The settlement was at least of a fair size, not a hamlet at the very least but a village numbering thirty huts and thus hopefully thirty families. Though there most certainly wouldn't be all the warrior's present during a season of opportunities for hunting.

The chief here while not as dominating as Asisiak was still a fellow of gigantic proportions as they begun rough discussion, given Vodarara's very limited speaking skills. Vodarara listened intently to the Chief's words as he described their arrival two weeks ago and defined his suspicions to the huntsman.
He was even kind enough to offer the assistance of himself and a number of his men-folk, though in truth wouldn't it have been more of enlisting the huntsman's aid to help them eradicate the pest's in their region of control.

"This one will work with your folk.... Please give this one a few days of preparation within settlement.... Prepare traps... Then Hunt... We can Discuss Plan In New Rise...."

Vodarara's words indicated that he wanted to discuss a plan when the sun rose, though he would spend the evening finding a spot and making himself at home in a snowbank unless he was invited to stay at one of the Imuchakk's homes. Vodarara would set to work producing a large number of traps that could be set to eliminate the large contingent such work was pretty intensive mentally as he prepared the mechanisms for the traps as he worked.

Vodarara intended to make four Clamping Maw's and four Razor-Fang Traps
The process would take Vodarara significant time as he gathered additional materials for his production, he was deciding to improve the effectiveness of the traps by adding camouflaging materials to hide the traps better from the eyes of those that they sought to hunt and with the aid of Imuchakk helpers, he would be able to get the contraptions carried and set.

"You can stay with me if you need a place to rest." The chief would bellow out. The stranger certainly seemed like an odd one but he was kind, or sympathetic to their plights. He was a bit prideful, which was why he didn't directly ask for help from the stranger. He considered the graciousness and invite to friendship, but that would be tested along their journey in this hunt. He would guide him over to the large hut, covered in the skins of various animals the chief had claimed in his hunts.

"My name is Retracac, this is my home, I know you want to set up your traps so I won't stop you. Once you finish join us inside, currently my daughter is preparing a stew, join me and my children. In the morning we'll discuss the plan of attack, however, I'm not sure they'll leave those woods anytime soon, they seem fanatical almost." He would give the hunter time to go set the traps while he would part the bearskin rug which hung as the door for his cabin.

The cold winter night would hollow while Vodarara would prepare his traps for the ongoing hunt. It would be hard to bait them, going after them directly wasn't going to be his approach either tho. In the cold night, howls would scream out. For far in the dark, cryptic and freezing woods the hunt would begin. Tor was beginning his hunt, his beasts, his men ravaged through the woods as they set their own traps, as they invaded dens to slaughter the larger threats quickly. First was the cull before the capture, they'd lower the animal's population, take their resources, and then capture some of the creatures.

It was only the first night, a cruel hunt would be enacted by the kind-faced beast tamer. They would be unaware, all of them would unaware of what lurked in the dark. Only the lights, the dancing lights which one would notice from a vantage point. The beasts of burden and burning would slowly devour. A hellblaze would burn unbeknownst in the tundras cold night.

In the morning the would notice the damage from the distance, only half of the forest would stand in the morning. With ash filling the air and the abrasive scent warning them of the terror that would soon come in this path of conquest.

Vodarara gave the chief a slight nod and bow, "This one appreciate... this one Vodarara"

Vodarara was a man of few words and preferred action to shown his intentions.

It would be a long night as Vodarara crafted the traps of his trade but Vodarara finally finished, he was glad to have the Chieftain by the name of Retracac's hospitality and the stew was much appreciated by the hunter though, he of course was a man of few words that shortly after joining them for the stew returned to his work at hand.

The quarters for Vodarara to sleep within were stark difference to what he was used to and when Vodarara awoke he found himself rather well rested, while also feeling a number of knots in his body had been released.

Upon the rise of the morning, Vodarara was awake before dawn break as he carefully prepared himself. Once the Chieftain was available he of course would explain his hunt to the Chief that would be joining him and his companions for the hunt of the outsiders.

Vodarara words would be rough, though he used gestures to attempt to make his point easier.
"This one, observed them.... one stands different, look different, act different... that one likely alpha... slay alpha... cohesion fails... eliminate rest... use traps here..."

Vodarara would indicate to the pile of traps, he had produced for the Imuchakk to use. They could use these as a way to deal with the numerical advantage the enemy had by drawing them into the traps.
Vodarara however continued,

"To Kill Alpha... Chief and Men use Powerful Harpoon... Vodarara use this... No Hesitation... Overkill... Be Certain... Spread Fear.... Spread Confusion...

Vodarara would hold up one of his Pin-Point Shot Arrows, this brutal looking arrow so sleek and fine but heavy and weighty, a gap finder and penetrator made from some of the finest materials vodarara could muster.

....

When Vodarara would see the obvious damage to the forest in the distance. He would be disgusted and also heart-broken such beauty, destroyed in but one night and that almost stoked fires of rage in the hunter that was almost always calm or almost emotionless.
It brought almost a thirst for blood to the hunter that wanted to most certainly end the lives of the individuals that had wrought such destruction but also to drive the individuals from the land of Imuchakk entirely... there was no place for such creatures in the cycle and balance of Imuchakk.

As the rages would accumulate within both of the cooperating parties they would begin to venture out for the hunt. Retracac would rest his large man-paw on the shoulder of the hunter. He didn't know the man very well, but his anguish was noticeable in his body language. This was their home, it was good when people had a respect for it. His voice would come out, trying to provide some kind of warm inspiration or just some minor direction. "These people may invade, take, and scar the land, but we have lived with it. Immuchak always returns to the white, the cycle of life is powerful here, for we struggle through the insurmountable odds of our beautiful home, we make our way in the everchanging yet consistent schedule of the cold Tundra. Let's go shows this strange infection what happens to those attempt to disrupt our way of life."

While they weren't of the same people they shared a home, they hunted the same beasts, drank from the same streams. It was better for them to work together, for them to unite under a common cause in the face of adversary. As the blue-locked giant would the party would gather, there about 20 viable hunters, most seeming to carry harpoons would the occasional exception. The chief himself carried a massive hook, it seemed to be a little large than half his size. Their heavy feet would soon start to track the path towards their targets. They would have to go on the offensive, they would need to catch them by surprise.

Black ash would paint the snowy fields, standing among them dwindling black spires, corpses of the beautiful spires which was the warm embrace for many in this cold waste. Now the mouth into the rest of the forest was nothing more than an ashen grave. The fire drew inward, forming a new path into the woods as if itself had no source, but was moving. There at the threshold of the living trees would begin a series of footprint, they weren't fresh about a day old it seemed, so they were further in.

Trekking through the trees would lead them to a camp. In the small settlement, they would notice tents of blue fabric, seemingly a material they've never even touched. Even more outstanding was the signs of some of their tools, a poker rested in the fire pit. A pile of snow covering it, they had recently put out the hearth and left the camp, one could see bits of food poking through the mess even.

They needed to move, Retracac would wave his massive hand, the blue giants would thunder through the snow, the waves of white rushing behind them. While they weren't fast they could take large steps, they could move through the snow well. The shook the earth near them but moved silently through the cold white field. On the edge of the clearing, that's were the Knights of Sasan would be found. Their ideal chatter would signal them, they were wide open!

Tor wasn't however, he would stand in the middle of his guard. All twenty would form a defensive shell of blue steel. His beast floating above his head about 1m, approaching was hard, they had to get 20m within him to even get a clear line of sight. Across from him another 20 in the clearing was more forest. Now was the best chance to go in, the chief would raise a hand, asking for the hunter with them to come closer. He needed to know what their ally hoped to do, they needed to coordinate, or he could trust him to lead the charge.

The environment had been devastated by the appearance of these outsiders. They were effective destroyers that could easily lay waste to large swathes of territory in but a day. It seemed Retracac was a capable leader though, his attempts that inspiration didn't work on the isolationist that was Vodarara.

As such Vodarara, Retracac and his hunters headed out in pursuit of the outsiders and would begin to track them into the forest, though the group wasn't exactly discrete and quiet in their travelling. Something that Vodarara would have preferred but then it was safer with them having numbers that should be capable of easily suppressing the invaders, with sheer mass if needed.

The first past through a camp, though Vodarara's lack of knowledge regarding group camping likely led him to missing a few things. He couldn't exactly tell if the camp was left in haste or if was abandoned within the individuals normal pace.
Vodarara would heed Retracac's summons as he was called over with his companions when they eventually made sight on the Invader's they seemed to be unaware as the group of twenty one individuals were clustered quite close together.
Vodarara would whisper the Chieftain,
"This one will divert them, leave companion's with you... Will be quick as possible you will hear when it begins... their leader must fall quickly...

With that unless, Retracac had anything immediate to say to stop Vodarara. He would wave his companion's to stay here as he headed off keeping himself low to the floor as he attempted to make a wide flank on the invaders, Vodarara intended to head into the forest and climb a tree to get himself a vantage into the circle of shields using his keen eyes to mark his target as he and surely the Imuchakk prepared for battle.
Vodarara hoped to position himself about 30 metres from the centre of the invading group within some tree branches.

The continuous crunch of their heavy steps in the snow would be the only sound in the silence. Not even the birds would let out a caw or crow, not a single song or chirp. Their presence was unnatural, and so was the atmosphere. The men would keep their close formation around Tor, the tall man clearly examining the area around. He was looking for tracks, for signs of animals going through the clearing, they were escaping the hunt initiated by this domineering man, he seemed kind but there was a cruelty in his eyes almost. It burned in his gaze almost, such a steep contrast to his demeanor the dagger only plunged further as he spoke. "Let's find these mongrels, the role of man is to serve God and the role of beasts is to serve man."

There would only be a few more meters left to march in the clearing, the group was moving with a good pace in order to get out of the open quickly. The onlooking Immuchak keeping an open eye. They'd heeded the word of Vodarara, Retracac himself holding his weapon. His grip steadied and eyes on the sight he'd wait for the sign from their new companion. Everyone was in their positions as fresh snow would start to fall from the sky. The summer was soon to end, after all, maybe it was a sign of what was to come.

Vodarara spent his time reaching his position within the tree, using his eyesight to identify handholds and his balance to allow himself to position himself. His feet planted in the upper branches to secure his position, the angle was awkward to aid his concealment but also to endeavour to make a target on the individual within the retinue that was more unique than the rest.

Vodarara intended to use two arrows, his intention was to loose the arrow he intended to kill or at the very minimum wound their leader under the cover of a shrieker arrow to divert the attention of the retinue which would act as the calling card for the Imuchakk and also as a distraction to divert the attention of the leader and the retinue away from the incoming slaying arrow.

Preparing his pin-point shot as best he could, Vodarara had attempted to set himself up within thirty metres of the group. Vodarara's target that he attempted to make out the individual that was Tor, an individual that Vodarara only knew from his outfit.
The arrow notched and drew in his bow as Vodarara exhaled his breathe steadying his aim and releasing the arrow towards Tor within the group, drawing immediately from his hip-quiver he would release another Pin-Point Shot after all Vodarara intended to make sure the man was dispatched immediately with certainty and precision.

He followed it's line of sight, trying to track the object as it flew. His guard all went on the alert. Propping up their massive defenses the group of knights the blue-steel knights would hold a solid Brigade block up. They would try to weave their defenses, trying to protect their leader, but they looked around sporadically, each knight scouring to find the origin of the attack. Each their lines scanned Tor knew he couldn't afford to be picky with his defenses, they had to be alert for anything.

Vigilance would in all actuality accomplished nothing for the group as soon blue giants move with the call of the arrow. They'd give an opening chance for his arrows to fly through. Each group would clash in upon each other within seconds. The large figures of the Immuchak against the solid frames of the knights. Retracac controlled the field, a heavy anchor of unicorn horn carving through the earth as he easily whipped the object around. The snow would fly, and heat would rise as the Minor Knight.Assisting the group would be able to protect him.

His fiery defenses would form a veil burning the arrows, their force managing to make it through the flames, he barely sensed them. He'd have to amp up his attacks, in a split second his Blazeelbub would consume him, giving him the necessary edge to try to burn the arrows further. One of the smoldering arrowheads would manage to be quick enough to pass through, embedding itself in the shoulder of the hunter. It burned like hell and now the giant Immuchak chieftain was charging his direction.

He'd need to move, using the flight grant from his Blazeelbub the knight would soar 10m into the air above the group. Someone had managed to land a hit. He needed to find out where they were located. It was hard to notice, if they tried to attack him he'd be able to pinpoint them. Each eye scanning carefully, a while he himself was a blazing figure in the sky. "If I can't find you, then I'll make you come out!" Like an artist with an easel and brush he would begin to make his work, decorating the sky and field with flairs of orange, red, including every color of the sunset.

Cruising by the edge of the forest he didn't care to escape. The lance of flame would touch against the life filled trees, spreading their arms around the greenery. The snow around their feet would poool into water as he flew with incredible speed, looping the entirety of the clearing in order to spread his damage. He'd burn the hunter out, he'd use the flames to route him. He couldn't rely on his team at the current moment, they'd use their Lance Charges in order to deal with the advancing forces. As long as he organized his team effort Voda would be able to keep them at bay and keep the prime target for himself.

DM notes: Tor taken C-tier damage, he weakened them to C-tier with his defense, tried to attack with his buff but because of speed an arrow head flew through. Currently, he's trying to find and route Voda while his team deal with Retracac.

Vodarara found himself rather puzzled, the individual was able to shield themselves with some sort of voodoo or shamancraft. They were now embroiled with fire and were suddenly ten metres above their retinue, two arrows that would normally fell a beast with a single one had failed to fell the man.
Even further it seemed the Imuchakk had charged the man's retinue rather than making use of the traps he had made in their common format and didn't launch any of their powerful harpoon's that the Imuchakk could muster with unique and powerful intensity.

Vodarara would have to improvise and hoped his beastial companions would do the same, likely they would have to be opportunistic and pick off weaklings or enemies that were wounded where they could or avoid combat entirely.
Vodarara was next occupied with himself baring witness to the individual beginning to immolate the treeline, while he was sheltered for now. Vodarara was very well aware he was now being hunted and needed to eliminate the powerful one or give the Imuchakk an opening to finish him themselves.

Vodarara released one more arrow before he began to move in the canopy. Quickly stringing into his bow a Flash Flare as he slid its fuse along, the arrow would take a long skyward arc rather than a direct course to avoid giving the man a direct location for the huntsman, as he dashed away from the fire in the treetops using his balance and eyesight to pick-out footholds. As he set his feet in the next tree away from the oncoming fire, Vodarara would set a Arrow within his bow and draw back, this time his target wasn't the leader but his retinue as Vodarara used his eyes to attempt to seek a target.

What Vodarara seeked was an individual within the formation with his back to him as he intended to begin collapsing the formation with arrows sent into the rear of the unit. Once the arrow was released Vodarara would do something he would hope wouldn't be expected.
Vodarara used the tree canopy to move slightly deeper into the treeline and from there would actually go back towards the direction of the current fire as he hoped the man would sweep past the area quickly enough to avoid causing any or significant to the hunter, if of course it was to intense Vodarara could always drop to the ground to avoid being incinerated to avoid the rising flicker of the flame.

Should all go within a fair margin of his line of thought, Vodarara would find himself on the other side of the flames though some circumstances may cause him to adapt his future actions. If he could find himself reasonably safely placed, he would make use of a relatively new arrow. Maybe the man had a way of destroying his arrows, he had to perfect option to deal with such an eventuality, he would attempt to strike the man down with a Charged Head.

He had no way of dealing with the bright burst which would flash in his eyes. It was minor blinding, but as he scorched the field around him the bright light within the sky would steal his vision for a moment. Shit! He'd only think to himself briefly. His team would continue their battle, some of the Immuchak men were speared by the lances of blue held by the knights as red and yellow licked the sky. Vodarara was safe while his allies continued to fight on, but safety could only be held so long in a raging sea of heat and blood.

Black clouds would soon start to fill the sky, the billowing plumes of ash would begin to suffocate everyone, including the hunter. It didn't matter to him however, his prep work would go unhindered in the growing cacophony and chaos. Tor scanned around, his eyes racing to try and find his prey. He was dizzying, he knew he wouldn't be able to find him accurately. All he would notice was the arrow that fly in his direction, he finally had a rough idea where in the treeline he was. He'd have to react, he would through the flames in his hand forth towards the arrow, with some of the bugs from his wings flying out as well in order to produce a Burning Unison. The roaring pillar of flame would be large enough to consume to the entire arrow, it was weakened by the force of the burst, which even managed to knock Tor down.

With their leader on the ground the Sasan knights would need to regroup, ten of knights still stood. Weapons in hand they marched, but the mighty Retracac, the blue leviathan would swing his mighty anchor to catch them off. He had to protect his men and hold the line, but with the pressure continuing he could only hold on so long. "Keep the line men, show them what we can do." Energy soon filled his mighty weapon, soon the tide would come for them, as they all Lance Charged.

Both sides were ramping up in action the snow melting and the fires signaling the sign of battle. Why no one would come to their aid all watching would be aware, battle had truly arrived at Immuchak. These invaders were only going to bring so much of their plague to these beautiful lands.

DM notes: Tor on his behind, C-tier damage taken and attack clashed with Burning Unison which is now C-tier, 10 knights preoccupied with Retracac.

Vodarara's tactic seemed to fail though he did succeed on his re-positioning. The personal hounds of the master seemed able enough with their full encirclement, to prevent their own comrades being arrowed in the back that would have aided in collapsing their formation for the Imuchakk.

It seemed Vodarara at least managed to knock the man down for but a moment but he was soon in the skies, again incinerating the tree-line yet again as the heat became more intense as it penetrated further into Vodarara's tree cover. The smoke becoming more acrid and intense limiting vision further as the sound of bark and leaves crackling and popping from the heat.

With visibility becoming steadily worse, Vodarara had little option but to escape from the fire to both avoid incineration and to also be able to secure himself another shot. Vodarara had come up with another plan, it seemed the individual intended to block his arrows so he would need to carve a path for his arrows, as he prepared his slide down he also prepared two arrows. the first a Reactive Head (Covering) in his bow and a Hampering Arrow that the hunter kept between his teeth for the drop.

Vodarara would have to use the root-network as cover if the man spotted him after he launched his arrows if they weren't able to disable him. Though as Vodarara broke to a more forward part of the scorching treeline, he would see that the man was airborne this would limit or negate the protection his men could provide while also  Vodarara hoped meant the man was overconfident.

As soon as Vodarara made visual, he took his stance drew back on his string and as soon as the man made eye contact or made a move to bring his beams of fire onto Vodarara he would release the arrow so that it would intersect with the fire torrent and the man. Vodarara had to take the risk that it would carve a suitable path and also slow the arrow enough that the Hampering arrow that he would swiftly launch afterward would make its mark allowing its toxins to disable the man.
If all went well Vodarara would follow it with a Arrow, he hoped this would be enough to put the man down so that he would be able to assist the Imuchakk with their fray. If it failed then Vodarara would have to think of alternative actions.

OOC: Vodarara intends to eliminate the man using a toxin based arrow that would follow behind a covering arrow-head that he hoped should protect the hampering head on its course.

Should the strike then its affects should limit the actions of the leader and he could put him down with a standard arrow.

At this point from both exertion, the heat and smoke Vodarara is likely beginning to suffer.

In all the actions racing to happen in mere seconds, two sounds would stand out. The first was the snap as Tor tried to send forth his flies to attack the arrow. As the intense head would provide an obstacle for the arrow his insects didn't produce enough heat fast enough. The back broke off by the broken head would crash into his chest the toxins working their way into his system. The arrow which struck true would allow for the thud of his exhausted body against the snowy earth. While his swarm would circle his body the gold egg would return to its shape with his magoi no longer fueling the machine. He felt helpless, he couldn't speak, he could barely think with the minor wounds he suffered.

As the knight laid there he was defeated, it was up to the hunter to either put him down or subdue him. The angered crowd surrounding him would try to swarm in on their attackers but the crushing might of the Immuchak chief would come crashing in front of them. A walking blockade the mighty Retracac would snake his chain and anchor, throwing the heavy object behind them so as to throw and shape the chain into bonds for the angry invaders. The weapon of unicorn horn would grind and halt as the blue-haired behemoth of a man tugged on the chain, the making sure a tight grasp had them all.

"I got these ones subdued, but they seem feisty." His voice boomed out, the grinding of the chain could be heard as the remaining crowd resisted his might. He lost half his men in this raid, he was gonna make sure these invaders were taken care of properly. There was only so much that his tribe was capable of. With the flames dancing high in the sky, smoke circling as an approaching smog snaked its' way towards the group. They seemed to have won the encounter but they had to act, time wasn't on their side.

The sun had significantly moved as birds flew in the distance, a long time had passed with these invaders.

The battle had been hard on both the invaders and the Imuchakk. Both sides had suffered casualties and the Imuchakk themselves had lost half their number but the combined efforts of the Imuchakk and Vodarara had bested the unknown abilities of the invaders.

The number they had captured though was far to many to move safely and also to return the corpses of the fallen Imuchakk to their families. Vodarara found himself somewhat confused, while he did not expect his plan to be followed only taken as a suggestion by the Imuchakk Chief who had led his forces against the Invaders, the traps hadn't been used and they had not engaged with their blessed harpoon's but rather used their mass to drive back the invaders.
Of course, Vodarara did not expect success without injury or casualty such was the risk and threat of unknown conflict.
Vodarara was however no leader and was not responsible for the creatures that weren't his direct companions. He could only think about what he would have done if he had numerous versions of himself.

Vodarara surveyed the individuals that had been subdued alongside their leader before looking to the Chieftain.
"To many... Can't return fallen home... and take all captives.... Chiefs must learn... Choose one... lively eyes. take back... slay leader...bleed rest to land..."

At that Vodarara's eyes would dart around the group of captives, he was looking for an individual that seemed to have lively eyes. These individuals could speak in a tongue that could be understood with ease unlike the beasts. Vodarara saw the alpha of the hostile group as a threat and most certainly sought to end the individual before they became a threat unless Retracac had a different opinion, Vodarara wished to take one individual before High Chief Asisiak as a source of learning after all they wouldn't best this prey without knowledge.

His solution would be to take an individual that was hopefully knowledgeable but not the leader if he was to make the decision.
As such they would be able to commit the bodies of the invaders to the earth to replenish the damage caused and hopefully grow stronger from the casualties that they had suffered by learning from the chosen  individual.
