Securing More Investors [Lagi/B-Rank/Solo]

Even with all that Lagi and the rest of the dark hand members had obtained with the investors and the other workers, what he needed most of all was talented construction workers that could work side by side his thrall and get the alma torran device in working order. Lagi understood that things like this would have taken some time in order to get it done, but even with him having all of the time in the world, it didn't mean that the world would stay the same. With all of this construction going on from within Lagi's domain, even though he has enough leeway and rights to do what he wanted with it after acquiring it from the Heliohapt government, the one thing that he wanted to avoid was answering any sort of questions in regards to what he was doing. He didn't feel like he needed to answer to them, and people getting in his way while he tried to do his work was a quick way to have violence be insinuated, the kind of pain and violence that Lagi could inflict all on his own if he was in the mood for perfecting the kill.

But now wasn't the time, he couldn't risk getting rid of someone that could be of use to him in the end, so he started to invest some time looking into the manifest of some slave owners who tended to go towards the uniqueness and quality of the slaves that they owned. He was looking for people that weren't only good with their hands but were intelligent and bright enough to read the map and follow the instructions exactly to the letter. These kinds of people were called "Exotic slaves", individuals that slave owners would be throwing up some kind of resistance to part ways with. It was going to either cost a lot of money and time, or even worse, an exchange of information as to why Lagi needed these particular people in the first place. He didn't feel like he had the inclination to do neither, so in the meantime, he figured that he would use the platform and reputation of the dark hand in order to convince them that it was for a good cause. Even if it was wasn't, the cause it was good for would be better for them in the long run. After all, slave owners in Heliohalpt only really cared about themselves and their own satisfaction.

"Looks like I would need to go through the spiritual route in order to get what I want. Come!"

As he called upon his people, his fellow member of the dark hand to come to his side, it seemed as if they were coming out of every nook and cranny of the room in order to be of service to the finger of the hand.

"We heard your call, the other members of the dark hand are also sending over their assistance, but what will you have us do?"

"Call upon the Zealots, those with high names and high influence. It's about time that we start the market networking event of the century."

It was a cut and dry plan, taking the more influential zealots that had less of the physical prowess and more social and political clout to convince potential investors to bend a knee. It was a buildup as well, a strategy of propping up these potential investors before Lagi showed his face around them. The first thing that Lagi did was pick the people that were the closest to the targets that had something he wanted to acquire from them, as well as affecting the most relevant deal in their lives. For some, it was the transporting of whares, either being slaves or another kind of goods of the like. For others, it seemed to be a personal problem, whispers that seemed to be sent to the ears of a friend to another friend. That was funneled back to Lagi, and he was the one that took care of it.

Yes, the district leader of Jannat Edan was something akin to a Santa clause that brought bad luck towards the enemies of the people that he favored. To top it all off, even though Lagi knew that these people would be curious as to what or who was the cause of their recent problems disappearing, he left all of the communicating and negotiations to the zealots that had the closest links to the targets instead. It was passed off as a blessing or invitation of some sort, with plenty of thing being able to go their way more often if they could return the favor and give a few offerings to the Dark Hand.

Some were skeptical about what Lagi was offering them, but he brought about the few things that not many religions or people could offer. The number of people he had snuck in high and low places, the hands-on approach that he brought about with ever single assignment that he took a personal interest in. What Lagi did was bring in results, and it was those same results that bolstered the Dark Hand's reputation.

They all ended up agreeing to the terms and the mildly specific request for the offerings of slaves that had special talents. Within that same week, Lagi managed to acquire the former construction journeymen of the slave community that some of the owners were keeping under wraps for their own amusement of doing some renovations in their houses and things of that nature. But with Lagi getting a hold of them now, they were immediately put to work with new conditions. They were offered "freedom" through service through the dark hand, basically taking away their label of being slaves in exchange for being loyal servants to the infamous organization that worshiped the god of their chosen religion, Doxrus. With such an offer and a few perks, as well as the promise of being a part of history once they did agree to the terms, Lagi got something more important than the simple workers that previously came in.

They were not considered as motivated members of the Dark Hand.

With some time passing and Lagi continuing to receive more detailed information about the people who were willing to join the Dark Hand and its cause,  they were moving closer and closer towards the building and completion of the structure. Things were going well, even the donations were starting to increase with how much interest that people were taking with what the dark hand was doing and how much their religion has affected so many people. Not only that, but Lagi's business was also starting to pick up steam. There wasn't much of a tax rate for him to operate and sell the cultivated drugs and other whares, like the steroids that he came about and the El Ragu.

Those sales were also a boost that Lagi used in order to increase the amount of Huang that was coming in. At the very least, the only thing that Lagi had left to do was create a Sabbat, his gathering of immortals of time, in order to handle things in heliohapt when he couldn't be bothered to do so. This meant that he had to make more vampires since the thing about being a vampire lord is that he had the full choice and disclosure as to who would enter his family.

However, this meant that he had to be careful and very picky with those that he would choose with the gift of living forever. To him, this was merely a side project that he kept a little privacy from the Dark Hand, a realistic contingency plan to put those in power that would naturally outlive the populus in order to have a consistent set of influence and even potential rule. Even if such a thing was to happen a couple of years down the line, the main idea was that once the time to act revealed itself, they would be ready.

But that was only if Lagi's plan was successful now.

In a meeting with a few of the higher members of the Dark Hand, Lagi sat at the new headquarters that he set in the district that he founded all by himself as the district leader, overseeing everything that went on from within his power and circled around his responsibilities.

"How goes it... Jynx? You are so much closer to your revenge these days, but the eagerness that I have seen in you two years back is all gone.  What is your ploy? Do you still seek revenge against heliohapt?"

With a toothy smile as he showed his fangs, Lagi sat back in the comfort of his darkness.

"Right now, what I seek.... is the mysteries and the truth of what we are to achieve in the end. It will all be complete once I discover it's true usefulness..."

Black Gospel: This perk has a direct interaction with the missionary social perk. With every believer of the master as a real god worth serving, it gives birth to a zealot that worships the same god as the Dark Hand does. They would do whatever they can in order to support the cult, either financially, spying, or through their lives physically. These powerful Zealots are treated as mob based npcs that are willing to do the bidding of the dark hand in the name of the same god that they worship. The rank of the Zealots are D rank. The size is considerably smaller than a military sized org, but can blend in the easiest and still versatile due to them coming from all walks of life. The current size of the mob is 20 members, which increases dark hand related mission or profession assignment, which will be another 20. Depending on the amount of missionaries placed in a region in regards to the dark hand religion, this becomes a modifier towards how many mob members are obtained per dark hand mission/assignment. This is calculated by the number of zealot mobs obtained times the missonary rank. The max amount of Zealots that can be obtained is 1000.
