The time was passing by quite quick ever since Lagi took care of those that were imprisoned by the brotherhood of ash. Lagi felt as if it was important to do a thorough investigation and background check of each and every individual imprisoned, find out why they were imprisoned, and send they back home with a proper escort. Either way, Lagi felt that since he discovered them, it was a sense of morality to endure that they wouldn’t be cast out without any sort of proper escort if they wasn’t residents of the reim country. If they were, Lagi felt that it was even more important to accommodate them and find out as much information as he possibly could. Sabin and Octavia were playing with each other in the throne room while lagi was looking over the names and representations of the people who were captured. Hidan safeguarded them like a good nanny, though Sabin’s adventurous spirit and budding fanalis strength was starting to become a challenge for the king’s retainer. Octavia seemed intrigued by a ball of yarn, tossing it around and crawling after it. “Sire, please tend to Sabin.” Sabin was lifting a chair up and down, more than likely fascinated that he was able to perform such a feet. Sabin was a toddler, so many thing probably interested him at this rate. “Alright, I’ll take from work and play with you guys. Come, come to papa!” Lagi got out of his chair playfully and scooped up Octavia and Sabin. “Octavia seemed pleased, while Sabin was pointing at the chair he was swinging around like a toy. “No no, the palace furniture is not for playing. We can play for now and then get you guys some lunch. As a matter of fact…” Lagi would sniff the air and shiver just a bit. Both of you need a changing…..

After taking care of the children, Lagi left them with hidan as he went off to handle the business at hand. Right now, he had a few investigations to go through, one of them involved a woman from the group of imprisoned people that he rescued. “She must have some political influence in some way, shape, or form. After sitting down with the woman, Lagi offered a light smile. ”You came a long way from home. “ She said nothing, but she nodded her head. Lagi was taking good care of them and she knew he was the king, it's just that she didn’t know how to address him. “Your highness… I” Before she continued, Lagi raised his hand.” You been through a lot, Just call me King lagi if you feel that honorifics are necessary. The woman’s name was Tamir Ak Mahaden. By hearing one of the names of one of the more prestigious slave traders, it itched at him. Lagi kept thinking in his head as to why that name sounded familiar to begin with. “Mahaden…Mahaden….. why does that name……” It was on the tip of his tongue, it had something do with what Lagi’s first term as king. As she continued talking, Lagi then remembered what the name reminded him of. “There were slave masters in Reim when I first started my term. I outlawed slavery and some of those people rebelled, they even started to resume their practices in secret. I found out and I more than likely took care of it, I think he's the only man that did the smart thing. He left entirely, probably the same day I made the issuing announcement. It was about three to four years ago, so he decided to take his business elsewhere? Probably increased due to the Heliohapt worked, as well as the abiding laws against human rights. Lagi was lost in thought, but his ear was in tuned with keywords as Tamir continued to speak. She also said the words kidnapped, which once again gave her Lagi’s full attention. “I was kidnapped five months ago, I’m still not too sure why. My husband, Mr. Mahaden, he’s a good man. “ Of course, this woman is delusional, as well as lacking any sort of negative opinion towards her husband. It’s almost the same as being imprisoned against your will, reflect on that, reflect on the five months that you have been incarcerated and treated as a nobody. Even your dignity will lose its worth in the face of starvation or thirst, if the brotherhood of ash really wanted to break you, they would. They are the same as your husband!” Lagi raised his voice and Tamir started to cry, full of guilt and anguish. After calming her down and hearing her side of the story, Lagi learned a few things. Taking a person across heliohapt to Reim borders is no easy feat. There has to be some sort of checkpoint, and that kind of travel would require days of rest and recuperation. “The western front…..” that was definitely a place to check, but lagi would have to travel more towards the southwest in order to investigate. “With el drago’s speed, it would definitely be an easy feat. “ Lagi decided that it would be best to go while he was still in the mood.

Later on in the western front, Lagi was travelling along with el drago, using his Electropereption passive in order to pick up on anything while he continued to fly around the area. It was a moment of silence as Lagi stared out into the sunset. Finally, Lagi decided to ask how El Drago is doing.” Hey, Draconis, what’s on your mind? “ The dragon grunted as he stopped flying for a moment. “What is the council planning to do with you after your term as king over? There seems to be too many security leaks, violent factions sneaking around and waving their ugly heads. With the amount of work that you are doing and how much you are involved, it almost seems as if you are one of the first responsdants towards this. When it comes to dragon kind, there is never a lack of appreciation for eachother. The dragon was wise, but there were plenty of things that Lagi had to consider.

After thinking for a period of time, Lagi and el drago came across a ditch. The reason why they stopped was due to El Drago’s sensory picking up on something that didn’t really seem like a creature. It wasn’t as if El Drago could tell, but when they landed this time around, the group wasn’t immediately met by creatures. “Ok, I’m going in.” Lagi would say as he went into the ditch like cave and started to explore all around. There definitely seemed to be people living here. “Hmm…” With the investigation skills lagi had at his disposal, he continued to look around for clues. However the king was indeed being followed around. After a few minutes, he did feel that he was being surrounded. “Got some nerve sneaking into our base, we will teach ya!” About 12 of them charged at the king at all sides. “It’s pretty sad….” Lagi would say as he used Sulfric Shroud. Lagi generated a cloud of sulfuric gas which generates from the Elegian Gauntlet and surrounds him in a 20-meter sphere, causing disorientation and dealing B-tier damage Lava damage in the form of second-degree burns to anything in the sphere. Because they were so close, if the damage didn’t kill them, they would be highly incapacitated. “You should have brought more man, as well as the fact that you lack magic tools, it could be that you are just a regular bandit group taking residents in a potential hideout that isn’t your.” It was a dead end, but lagi wasn’t going to give up.
