Bahir rose from his kneeled position, slowly. He was watching as the female magician on their boat and Merrze finally took a stand against the silver, winged creatures. A sense of relief briefly visited the fanalis as they dealt with last two Kah'Tul. He knew without a doubt that El Drago could deal with the creature above. The spy looked back and forth among the crew, trying to see if there was anyone missing. He didn't notice that there were less bodies on the ship. This gave him a bit more reassurance of the party they had so far. At least, on the defensive end. He didn't know how they would be if they had to take the offensive while on this island. Well... its always a bit easier to defend anyway. He deflated himself mentally. He wanted to keep as many overly confident thoughts from his mind as possible.
When Madam Trixie and Grimwald started to give order to the Treasure Hunters and the crew members, Bahir continued to stand there silently. He listened to the various treasure hunters give their opinions and noticed that Lagi was going to load the boats and set up a camp on the beach. The magician with purple hair spoke against the Emperor. This caused Bahir to raise his eyebrow a bit. The fact that she bluntly spoke against Lagi and referred to the El Drago by name intrigued Bahir a bit. She was confident... a trait that Bahir couldn't help but admire. Hm. She has a point... but it doesn't matter. Lagi, what will you do? He questioned his King mentally, his red eyes falling on the King of Reim. It wasn't long before the female magician from his own boat spoke up agreeing with Lagi. Bahir started to grow bored with the conversation and before he turned away, the magician started barking orders. The fanalis tried his best to hold his snorting. Why would she try to give orders to another woman's crew and employees? This won't go well.
Bahir sighed and bit the bullet. Madam Trixie wanted four people to stand guard, but so far everyone had volunteered to set up camp instead. "I'll keep look out. My eyes are better suited for spotting things at a distance." His words were quiet and aimed more at the Pirate Queen and the Reimian King. His statement may have seemed a bit cocky, but the fact was that his race's senses were sharper than the humans'. His eyesight was better than that of the crews'. It was the best job for him to contribute the most in this situation... At least he thought so.
Without another word, Bahir crouched slightly and jumped as high as he could. Thankfully, he overshot his target a little. He went a little higher than the crow's nest, but angled himself in such a way that he would land in the lookout spot. His eyes darted from the island to the skies in front of him, to the skies behind him. He refused to let them be taken by surprise through the air or by the water. He was ready at any moment to signal the rest of the Treasure Hunters and Pirates of any "company" they might get.
