Merrze was trekking through the farmland looking for a jungle that she had heard from her friend. She had decided that she was going to go train her mind and body. She thought the best way to do that would to go into a unfamiliar environment and try to adapt while keeping herself calm and focused. She believed that this would be the best way for her to overcome her anger. She would learn how to focus better so she control her anger, she had let go of the demons of her past but could she learn self control and patience as so not to let herself get angry so she would not endanger the lives of those who were important to here.

She thought that today was a good day for travel. She felt the warm rays of the sun hit her skin, it was a warm day out wit a slight breeze so it wasn't too hot for travel. She enjoyed the pleasant walking since it was such a nice day out. Even thought she would be training her body she wanted a nice travel, she enjoyed traveling so she didn't want the difficulty, that would eventually come, happen until she reached the jungle where she would be able to train.

After a good while of traveling she saw the jungle ahead of her. The fanalis was glad that she had finally notice her destination. She had never been to a jungle so thats why she thought it was the best unfamiliar environment. She did know jungles where heavily populated with plants and animals so that would make it more difficult for her to survive. The fiery red head would have to adapt to an area where she wouldn't be able to move around much and those were the types of areas that she was used to. She hoped that there would be some definite results.

The young girl thought her first priority while in the forest would be to get herself shelter. It was the best idea because if she didn't find any food or water for the night, which she could of course go a couple of days without, and she had no shelter she could get killed or sick in her sleep. She decided she would make a bed in the trees where she could kee of the ground so she wouldn't get sick and it would be harder for animals to kill her. She cut some vines with her sword and then tied them to the trees until it formed a net-like bed, She would cover herself in leaves when it was time for her to go to bed..

Now that she had shelter she would try to find a source of food, when she heard what sounded like running water. The warrior followed the noise until she came across a waterfall. It was a stunning site, she thought it was absolutely beautiful. She saw fish falling down the waterfall falling in the river connecting to it which gave her and idea. She sat under the waterfall trying to catch fish. She was too slow and could only catch one, is started to frustrate her but she thought it would be a good idea to train her body, control herself while trying to get herself food. The young girl was just starting to improve herself, she wandered back to her shelter with a single fish.

Merrze heard the crashing water as loud as a violent earthquake, She was meditating under the waterfall focusing on her thoughts learning to control herself. She had been training for a week now doing nothing but sitting under the waterfall trying to catch fish. It had taught her to be more patient when doing things and gave her better timing skills. It had been much better practice since most of the time she only focused on her strength before. She learned in this short time that examination and judgement was just as important as strength. She had used such skills before but she had never heigneted them to this point when she would normally just try to win by stopping attacks then attacking with more force.

She opened her eyes and saw a fish fall, she quickly grabbed it then noticed other fish which were also falling. She judged when the would fall and grabbed a handful of them. Merrze was proud of herself that in this short amount of time she was able to better her skills. The fiery girl would now focus on toning her body more, she would still focus on such things so she could increase herself over all. She had no plans of leaving the wild place of flora and fauna. The juvenile fanalis knew she had to improve herself overall if she wanted to face the monstrosities and other complexities of the world.

Merrze decided to head back to her little place of dwelling. She had a considerable amount of fish and thought it would be good to go back and rest for awhile before she would go and train again. The warrior heard a odd shuffling coming from the jungle to her left. When the girl turned around she saw a large man and some others with a cage searching through the plants. Merrze hide behind a tree and watched them, they seemed to be poachers looking for exotic animals. She was disgusted by them but she couldn't kill them, that would be letting rage consume her.

Merrze was ready to assault the group of vile men when she noticed a strange giggle. She turned her head in horror to see a young child in the jungle. What would she be there doing, possibly there for some reason but Merrze had to get her out of there. The fanalis was going to get the child our of there when the poachers had already noticed her.

"Well well looks like we got a fine creature here, we normally don't take humans but since your young I have a friend who might want to buy you, Brutus rough her up a little just incase he tries to struggle."

The child sat there terrified and the large man lifted up a hammer to strike down the girl. Merrze didn't want to see the child hurt so she rushed forward. The young warrior felt as if time was slowed down, it was as if she were running through webs. She made it in time and got in the way of the attack having the hammer strike her back as she guarded the child. The fiery fanalis was filling up with rage, she couldn't let rage consume her though or the child might get hurt.

The fanalis calmed herself as she knew it would be the best choice. Merrze would not let the men go of course, she would still take them out. Brutus swung down his hammer again but Merrze grabbed it, it hurt her hand but it wasn't over yet. The warrior ripped it from his hands and struck him in the chest making him go unconscious, she rushed over to the other two men who had accompanied him and slammed their heads into each other knocking them out. She would throw the out of the jungle and send the girl home but she was proud of herself. The normally fiery was able to fight with a clear head and not be overwhelmed with anger.

Merrze was hoping from tree to tree in the jungle right now. She was being chased by a giant monkey as of the moment, it was surprising but she was going to take it down. Most people would wonder how she got herself into this type of situation but it as rather quite simple. Since she had now been in the jungle for two weeks she had gotten sick of mainly eating fish so she decided to go look for some fruits. She found a banana tree and was collecting some, well the monkey seemed to have wanted them and, it aggravated him to see his favorite meal getting taken from him.

As the monkey chased the girl, who was a thieving mongrel to the large primate, she grabbed a tree and spinned around as the monkey came charging at her which caused her to slam her legs into his face. He started to stumble and fell to the ground with ease. She was glad that it didn't kill him or at least that's what the fanalis had guessed. The money just wanted those bananas but Merrze wanted them more in the end. She did feel bad for him so she dropped two bananas on to him for when he woke up he would have a snack.

Merrze had been mainly increasing her strength by doing a variety of exercises, one which she had become fond of in the trees was vine swinging. If done for a long time it was a decent workout and took a decent amount of energy which was even better since what she needed was a knew way to train her body since doing the same thing will eventually have no effect on the body. Sure she was strong but she needed the mental and physical power so she could protect that which matters to her.

Merrze had been here for awhile an she had improved by a vast amount physically and mentally but she felt as if she needed to stay here long and become more disciplined. She had to learn to control her movements, in fighting people tend to make a lot of unnecessary movement and she wanted to learn how to correct that. The fanalis now believed that a warrior should have a strong mind, strong soul and a strong body. She would no longer be a force of pure destruction but use her strength to protect and that was the whole point of this training.

The fiery redhead was now at the waterfall which she normally sat under during her ideas but she gave herself and idea. She was going to get to the top of the waterfall and meditate there. The girl didn't know if it was a good idea since she had never seen the top but it might be worth it, she could absorb in her surroundings that way, she would envelop herself in nature and mediate at the top as long s she possibly could, of course breaking everyone and awhile to drink water and eat some food.

She grasped onto the rocks behind the water fall and started to climb. She felt the weight of the water pulling her down as if she was being forced down by a giant, but she wasn't going to let herself fall. Infact she made things difficult by tying large rocks to each of her limbs. It was difficult with the water, normally the rocks would be nothing but because of the factors it was extremely difficult. She endured through the pain trying to be patient knowing that eventually she would reach the top where she would be to focus more.

After hours of climbing she had finally reached the top of the waterfall, she was drenched with water and she was freezing cold, it didn't help that the sun was setting as she had finally reached the top. She looked up and saw the beauty of the stars as the night sky started to become clear. She was amazed by the endless expansion of the night sky which she never focused much on, it was one of the most magnificent sights she had ever seen, the height let her see a night she had never seen plus the beauty of the jungle. The young warrior felt calmed and at ease her, she knew that she thought of a good spot.

She hadn't noticed but the rocks had fallen of sometime during the climb but that didn't matter now. Merrze crossed her legs and started to focus on how to get over things. As she thought about it she saw her mom in her mind, she started to tell her that she was proud and that she didn't have to worry anymore. That she didn't have to worry that she was gone because Merrze was now strong enough to where she could support others. The young girl knew that she wasn't real but tears streamed down her face like the waterfall. Nonetheless she was happy to her those words, she felt as if she could let go of the loss of her mother, that the redhead could be there for herself and others.

Merrze felt the wind rush by her, it made her feel so relaxed, she was meditating at the top of the waterfall. In the past three weeks she had learned a lot about herself and wasn't sure how much she had improved herself but she was sure that it was by a lot. She had overcome her past and became more patient in the process, to her this was a great accomplishment and she couldn't help be proud of herself. She had decided that today would be the day that she would go back home, hopefully Ku wasn't freaking out that she had been gone so long but she was hoping that she would understand why she was gone so long.

For the last week she had spent the day from sunrise to sunset meditating. She wouldn't eat, drink or even rest in that time, it was her own way of learning more about self control and getting even better at focusing and taking in ones environment. The warrior would start to hunt when it was night time. During night she would drink water and fight stronger monsters for food to train her body, after she had finished that she would res until the sun would come up again, on some nights she wasn't able to get any sleep but the results had shown themselves and that was sure.

She hadn't brought anything so she had eaten what food what she had left. She felt drained as if she hadn't slept in days but she also felt stronger. When she got home and would be well rested she believed that her strength would be more noticeable but for now she wasn't sure how much of it would actually show. She did know it was probably a good amount of increase but that wasn't even what had most likely improved the most, her focus and patience probably had the most increase. Her fighting might be more fluid now which was good.

Merrze started to leave the forest by climbing down the waterfall until she got closer to the trees, she had to very careful so as not to fall and possibly plummet into the water before and possibly die, which wasn't at the top of her agenda currently. The fanalis soon got to the trees and hoped down, when she got in the trees she skillfully climbed down hoping to get to the ground like a monkey. She felt as if she might fall so she ate some food. She chuckled as she looked up at the sun, she would have a long walk since she was tired.

After a hour of climbing and walking she had made her way out of the forest. The fanalis walked liked someone walking through mud as she tried to conserve he energy before she would continue to walk. She sat down in the middle of the plains and took a quick nap, when she woke up she would continue on her way home. She felt as if she deserved this quick nap after all of that training was finally done.
