Job Details:

It had only been recently, three days in fact, since Ani had returned from the western part of her domain and the tribe's leaders had been impressed nonetheless. Each of the groups had its own relationship with Ani, but all of them had come to respect how she was putting her entire power and the weight of her army towards securing land, resources, and allies to keep the promises that she had made.  It seemed that all the time Ani had went towards the goals she had set, but regardless Kor was with her most of the time the young child happy to be involved with his mother when she was around. It was no big deal for her since he was a young kid, and due to his Imuchakk nature he grew quickly, and his fanalis heritage also made him seem more capable than some of the adults even.

Over these last three days, they were deciding what they were going to do, and if they were abandoning their territory in the east and the west. It was decided that they would build a settlement in the mountains so there was a place between the two territories for those who wanted to stay there and represent their tribes and so on. Then some of them would return home there were others without a home due to being nomads or them being destroyed by Tenza that would stay at the settlement as well. In total there would be fewer people in the areas than there were before, however, while it would be a bit difficult Ani planned on using her raiders to patrol the edges of her territory and make sure no one tries to move in on them. In the long-term, they agreed to set up outposts and offer immigration into their territory for those seeking refuge, where they could choose to live in the outposts or the main settlement in hopes to further build them up.

Ani had convinced them that she was strong, but not only that but smart as well with how she was able to find answers to each of the problems they had, along with her production of Shadow Glass working as an incentive for people who wished to obtain the material. However, with all this she had a bigger plan with her settlement, she would make it a place people wished to come to, and with it at the center of her new land it would prove as a bridge for her people and it would be a glorious one.

In an effort to prove that she was able to protect and provide for the people in a way that other nation-builders hadn't was to not only provide resources to people but to elevate her people so they would be able to protect themselves. It was all apart of a big plan, but in order to get set up for it they had would start working together on living places for them all.

After they spent time searching around the fortress they found a valley, in fact it was the one that Ani had learned to use her equip in as her men let her know about them finding the destruction she caused before. With all of them confirming it would make a great spot they had set up camp and began transporting the materials from their fortress. While Ani couldn't see she remembered what she knew about construction and had asked someone to sketch out what she was thinking of, however, this was done in secret so some of the secrets of her building material would not be revealed to anyone who might be untrustworthy.

Once their designs and the plans were set it was time to begin construction for most of the buildings. With all of their materials found within the mountains, Ani had begun coordinating construction. There were some dangerous plants that had needed to be cleared out, but it was no issue for the Imuchakk due to her naturally tough body. With her hands Ani ripped the vines out of the way throwing them aside as some of the tribesmen would grab them and take them for processing.

It was important to Ani that they try their best to study and reuse any material that they tear apart or find, it could be key towards the development of new things that would support them. These thoughts filled Ani's thoughts as she used her strength to push up the ebon logs for support. The sounds and vibrations of them hammering them fitting the logs into the foundation as they hammered till they fit in snuggly. The woman would even hit the logs with her hands to see if they would budge, making sure she wasn't using enough strength to actually damage them. As they vibrated against her knuckles she let out a satisfied chuckle before making a comment to herself. "Keep this up we're doing good."

Over the next few days they camped and built, as the structures were set up they began camping underneath the frames to get used to the thought of living there. A majority of them were large family clans and while not everyone was staying they decided to build each shelter to house entire families. A majority of the buildings were made from dark wood, stone from the mountains, and shadowglass. At night they would be hidden, but in the day the sheen of the buildings showed off their purple hue as they reached the sky.

In the middle of each of the longhouses, there was a pit dug, these were to serve as firepits to feed and warm the homes of the people staying within them. There was also some room left for additional holes to be dug into the homes, Ani had found a hot spring nearby and planned to use it to aid them, but that was for later days.

As everyone had started getting closer to finishing their own homes the Azure Amazon had begun to focus on building not only a place for her to stay in while here, but also a place where the people could meet, and converse on matters of the realm as well as enjoy drinking and feasting. The woman enjoyed diplomacy, but there was no reason diplomacy couldn't be handled over drink and food, especially when it was likely to push things in favor. With any of them drunker than here and filled with joy and pleasure, she was likely to sway things closer towards her desires with her harder to inebriate, and it being her home turf.

The Shadowglass Longhouse had a large frame, nearly quadruple the size of all the other houses, over the last few days the frame was set up and she began forging the glass panes that would be built over the frames and locked in place. It all used interlocking and gravity itself, but the design was based on ones she's found all over the world, from Heliohapt to Kou she had studied their building techniques, figured out where they used adhesives or things like nails, but also how some people were able to build without the use of any. In replicating these matters she spent all her time using her hands to feel along the frame, building it following the feel and listening to the words and advice of her people, and of course her child.

Young Kor was eager to help his mother as he was with her as they reached their finishing construction. The fire pit inside was large enough to cook more than three whole cows at once on a spit, and there was even a chimney that could be opened up so they could let out the smoke.

It was the day before they were expected to finish, there was a series of ropes thrown over the frame and attached to the top of the shadowglass frame. With Ani on one side, Kor on the other, and a series of men on each side were grabbing the rest of the ropes and looked at one of them. "Alright everyone, 1, 2, 3, pull!"

As Ani gave the command they all began to pull and the heavy walls made of black glass were pulled over the frame, and as they finally set in with a firm clasp of them onto the wooden frame Ani would smile. It was as she looked upon it that she walked inside to her room and went to bed for the night with Kor within her grasp. A smile would grace her face for the entire tonight and her child's, as well as they, enjoyed the night under the structure they had built together.

On the final day all of them that were there appeared in front of the longhouse, all there was left was for them to place the locking top on the roof that would help keep everything in place. As she stood atop it she let out a soft whistle and the others began to pull up on the ropes raising the top into the air. As it finally hovered above Ani she could hear it and reached up, she grabbed it and pulled it down slowly until she felt it slowly sliding into place, and then with a quick turn and push she slipped it into place with a firm lock.

A smile rose from her lips and all of the sudden there was one loud call from the group below. "SKAL!"

With a firm laugh Ani jumped down and threw open the gates to the longhouse. "THEN LET US FEAST AND DRINK!"

Thundering steps soon filled the mountain valley as they rushed into it with the gates slamming shut behind them, everyone that was inside of the make-shift town was now behind the gates of the longhouse. As the day turned to night laughter, and the sound of drinks being cheered overflowed from the great hall. If this first night in their finished homes was to say anything, then things would be great from here on.
