Marchosias - Midway

It would lie out before the challengers, vast and windy. Grains of sand blew along the large desert scape. If one looked on closely into the distance, one may be able to make out the view of tall walls guarding a city from the desert. However, upon arriving in this land, a rumbling sound were to begin to fill the air as tiny pieces of rock were to fly upward from the source of the sound.

Anyone who had just come were to find that they were on a craggily rocky cliffside. If one wanted to get down they had to carefully climb down the rocky area and get to the desert sand below. It would be fairly difficult however for some. If they fell and lost balance, they could fall and get hurt. Right in front of the craggily area, a golem of stone were to rise from the ground and attempt to halt the progress of the challenger. It were to set its sight on the challenger(s) and begin to form a fire spell to throw at the target. Standing at a mighty 15m height, the golem roared loud at the challengers here.

Golem Fire Magician: "Intruders! Perish!"

Said the creature, now throwing his fire spell. It would divide in two balls of fire if there were more than one target. It would travel for the target and attempt to do a burning C-Tier damage if one is caught by the fire ball. It traveled at C-Tier fanalis speed for its targets. 20m from the challengers, the stone magician threw his spell. How would the challengers face a terrifying monster whom sought to burn them to a crisp? What decision may they make, as they lie in a dangerous environment that if they made one small step, may hurt them badly. Marchosias was heating up to be scorching hot in action. Thus far, challengers looked to be quite unfazed, and brave.

With Lagi making it to the midsection of the dungeon and riding on Longzufu, he would come across some kind of firey golem that was trying to stop him from moving ahead.  Fire magic was always a problem for him, being in the presence of it still made his skin crawl and he still didn't find a way to overcome his weakness. However, Lagi had reached too far in this place to simply turn back and didn't want to give up. No, Lagi couldn't afford to surrender to such a place, regardless of his thoughts.

"Onward!"

Orie appeared behind Lagi before firing a blast of Lightning magic in the direction of the golem and the attack.  The Lightning Tractor was 15 meters in height and width in the size of a cone, traveling as far as 40 meters. The attack dealt A tier Lightning Damage bursting through the B-tier damage of heat magic and heading straight for the chest of the golem to deal damage to it.

Morgan had been under the impression that she had become a rather difficult woman to surprise in recent years but the site that unfolded before her managed. Upon using the key regurgitated from the jailed entity prior in the appropriate door she found herself not in another room but an entirely new area with no traces of the door she had passed through in the first place. Winds blew all around the Sasan Knight, kicking up dust and dirt that only mildly annoyed her more than anything. It was a desert type landscape that surrounded her, stretching out to large towering walls off in the near distance that kept a city protected from the elements.

The ground began to rumble and tremor under Leviathan's feet, shaking the woman for a moment before she found her balance once again and managed to steel herself in accordance with the vibrations. The wind picked up, lifting larger portions of dirt, sand and even stone that began to mold together and shape into a vaguely humanoid form. A golem had manifested, shouting at Leviathan the two simple words "Intruders! Perish!" It towered over the Immuchakk woman, who was a staggering height all her own, and made her seem miniscule in comparison. Fire gathered in its massive hand into what appeared to be a small sun to the woman only for it to lob the gathered magic at her.

The Sasan Knight showed no fear when it came to the incoming projectile even with its size taken into consideration. The skin of her right arm began to transform, turning to thick scales that expanded out in size to something akin to a small shield. The scales were tough, expertly hardened in order to help her mitigate the damage of the fireball as she lifted her arm and braced herself for its impact.

Lagi

By the sheer might of his blast attack, the spell of the golem were to appear to vanish for a moment as it was consumed by the lightning. It was quite quick and rather abrupt. Coming right for him, his fiery golem eyes flared with fire as the lightning blast raced towards him. It was an outrageously wild display of power before the golem magician. However, from the benefit of the lightning, the sphere of fire that was thrown at Lagi were to only grow more intense, dancing wildly for him now. It were to unveil itself out from the lightning, and try to engulf Lagi or otherwise known as Requiem Jynx, in an intensely bizarre dancing sphere of blazes.

Fire Golem Magician: "I perish, but now you shall as well, blood demon!"

Lagi were to take the hit, whether he liked it or not. Its flaring dance would seem like the sun itself was here to consume him at once. Even if he tried a last minute effort, he would receive part of the damage for certain. How would the mighty man react in the face of his bane, a dancing blazing light of flames? Lagi thus far was valiant and confident in himself, but did his confidence come from courage or from the understanding of his own strength? Behind the fire, the golem were to crumble.

DM Note: Not enough time for an Ability, but you can try to dodge or move for you are not engulfed in it 100% or 100% of the post. You will take partial damage in this case but get away with your life.

Bass & Leviathan

It was coming to be quite the intense situation now. Atop the craggily landscape and rocks, the tall and brave Imuchakk woman were to put her guard up to defend. Through her superb use of her body, she was able to create a shield of scales on her arm to block with. However, she were to feel the effects of its great heat, but would not receive much of any damage whatsoever. It were to disperse upon striking her scaled arm, but the heat would feel so close and would make anyone near feel hot and dehydrated perhaps soon enough if they continued on in such a blazing desert.

Fire Golem Magician: "Surrender!"

Roared the enemy of the Imuchakk, as a red haired ranger suddenly had entered this landscape now. Teleporting in right behind her, the Imuchakk were to now have to cooperate with her new partner. It would be crucial for him and her to cooperate somehow if they sought to progress forward. Trickles of flames and heat were to be felt by the ranger. In front of Bass and Leviathan, a figure of stone were to charge up a great nest of fire in its mouth and spew it out suddenly at them to try and deal a scorching B-Tier damage. It would be 5m wide and 5m tall. It could be avoided but one still had to consider the landscape they were standing within. If they made a misstep, they could fall and fall on some of the craggily sharp rocks and receive damage from the rocky area.

DM Note: Same scale arm will not work against this one, as it is not a formed spherical fire, but like a flame thrower. Good luck.

With there being a perfect clash and lagi being able to completely overpower the fire creature, he would give out a sigh of relief. He was able to kill the being and things were going rather smoothly. As long as things were to go well for Lagi, there was a good chance that he would be able to make it to the end of the dungeon.

"Ok, keep going Longzufu."

The next place he was taken was not what he had wanted to say the least, the boy did not find beds, or people there to take him to a room but instead, his body was brought behind a woman who stood taller than he was, her body blocking him from seeing directly in front of him. However, there was nothing that he would need to see besides the threat that stood a monstering 15 meters and a fireball heading his way. From behind the woman, he'd ready his great bow feedig magoi into it Bass would unleash one strength arrow at the fireball, then take aim sustaining to fire a second arrow of strength magic at the giant creature. This would probably shock the woman, but after he fired his two arrows of strength magic, he'd step out in front of her and smile. Attempting to make his voice as deep as could he smile as he spoke to her.

"Fear not ma'am The Bolt of Justice is here. Though I must admit this is the oddest Inn I have ever come across. Demons are real, and now this thing. Can't a guy just find a place to rest, sheesh. Anyway, get ready for whatever comes next, I'm not sure what more we will have to deal with. But when we get a chance we can set up camp. "

ADMIN NOTE

The hit against Lagi will not count due to the following reasons:

1.) No enemy info was shared. Therefore any abilities the enemies may have launched are, by default, basic attacks. It's not fair to the players to guess how much damage is being made or wonder what their enemy has in their arsenal. These enemy templates are like a player's vault: if it's not shared at the beginning of a thread (or in this case instanced combat) then the NPCs have nothing.

2.) As the DM, it is not your decision to determine whether a player gets hit "just because." Saying "whether you like it or not" is not suitable, and the player should be allowed to clash or fight back if the situation allows. In this instance, he clashed with a lightning spell that was of superior strength. Even if you want to argue the science of how the fireball interacts, Lagi has a superior energy output, so being able to clash at all it could be argued that it disperses the charge of molecules within the fire, dispersing the gas as there is no access flammable material if there were that material would burst into flames.

3.) Abilities don't have speeds. Saying a player doesn't have time to react does not make sense; time is no longer a measurable concept since speed was removed from the systems. If he has time to dodge, he should have time to clash or throw up an automatic defense like a borg or something if available, which in this case should work as a last-second defense where he won't take damage.

As such, Lagi can edit his post accordingly.

Morgan licked her lips with excitement as the blazing orb of flames impacted against the thick, hardened scales that had formed on her arm. Their construction having been tough enough to mitigate the effects of the defended attack to the point she felt no pain nor even any discomfort from the action. If that was the best the golem could offer then she'd be more than ready, and far beyond willing, to put it out of its miserable existance. It was only a matter of getting up close enough to it to deliver that stone-shattering fist of hers.

The golem's voice boomed once more as it shouted at the Knight to surrender. The magically energized entity opened its mouth once more, fire pooling in its gaping maw before breathing it out at Leviathan. The attack was unlike the previous one. This one was more loosely formed, less of a solid mass like the previous fireball and more akin to the lit end of a torch being blown at her. From behind her a single arrow was released, flying over her shoulder and ripping through the inferno before it had the chance to reach her with a second one flying past her towards the golem itself shortly after.

The source of the arrows appeared before her in the form of a young redheaded boy. His bravado was overflowing as he instructed her not to fear for the "Bolt of Justice" had arrived. The Sasan Knight simply rolled her eyes at his statement but found his arrival to be an advantageous one for her. She would allow him to resume her showdown with the golem while it was still a functioning construct and conserve her strength for further ahead in the dungeon.
