Silent Sands Sign-Ups

As apart of the Night of Magic tie in mini-events the first one will begin October 26th. Far in the deserts a prospering city-state known as Zahid has been brought under the boot of the dark King Candidate and Black Spider head, Remus Roma. Under the dastardly effects of his extreme magic, the inhabitants of the town have been put into an eternal nightmare. With their worst fears manifesting and the city caught in a haze help is needed to bring back its prosperity. With four locations being the source of keeping the spell going guarded by four powerful nightmares it'll be quite the challenge.



A City Shrouded in Fear- The City-State of Zahid had been considered a jewel in the desert. Within only the past few years it had doubled in size, expanding and entering into a trade. Streets once filled with children now hold corpses, sunlight replaced with a never-ending fog. Taken over by the magic of the Dark Djinn Morpheus nightmares now walk. Under the spell of his Extreme magic, the entire city is filled with walking nightmares. Upon entering the spell drains and forms images from one's worst thoughts, creating an unkillable, unstoppable fiend. As you outrun your fears and face others find the truth of their four locations and their guardians ending the spell and freeing the town.



Silent Sands will be a special double xp posting event encouraging people to take the challenge or go for bigger goals. As this is plot-related taking down one of the four mini-bosses will earn the player a shard, each player may only earn one shard from Silent Sands.

There may be various plot-related rewards such as NPCs, plot, traits, and so forth but there will be no magic item-based rewards.


1. Must Sign Up in this thread to participate in the Tie Thread
2. Players will be grouped into pairs in which their enemies will be scaled.
3. You will be able to RP in this event no whether you not in the board but will be forced into a timeline with the NoM plots.
4.You must share your character's greatest fears in your sign up post for the sake of your nightmare creation.
5. You may participate for the sake of the event or the xp, however, if you are attempting to take on one of the four locations you will need to post in the appropriate board.
6. Remus himself may appear or comment but will leave soon after, he will be non-engageable as he will be able to hide in the nightmare.
7. Combat is not the main focus, do not be discouraged by powerful enemies. It is meant to be an intense and fun ride to enjoy different writing elements. While death is possible that is only if challenges or explicitly details are ignored.

Angelus' greatest fear is losing power, or becoming weaker. However, he is quite weak he acknowledges currently. His only strength and power is ingenuity and strategy.

Her personal fear is being forgotten. Not just by her friends and family, and not even forgetting them, but for everything she has done to suddenly be gone. All her hard work done for nothing. Perhaps it isn’t the ‘being forgotten’ part which she finds scariest, but what would happen if she wasn’t there.

His Greatest Fear: Joining his mother lilith and her evil group of witches. To wreck the world. Aka seeing a evil version of himself only justifying his acts as the only way to get the job done.

Lagi

Greatest fear:

1.Him and his family being crucified on a burning cross because he's a vampire and they consider them to be monsters as well. His children missing (from when the alchemists attacked the El Nagi village around the same baby sabin was brought to the village by Roark).

2. Being stripped of his djinn and remaining powerless against his foes.

3. Watching his children and clan become addicted to the same drug substances he profited from, effectively destroying his clan and own family socially due to drug abuse from his own creations.

4. losing control of the power source, releasing kaiju that won't listen to him that would destroy everyone around him but Lagi himself. In turn watching the needless death and destruction of heliohapt and Tartarus.

Greatest fears:

1.losing his freedom physically or mentally and things being completely out of his control

2.his close friends being taken from him

3. being alone

Ill be taking this on with my character Casrare, he has a lot of minor worries but his one true fear is the world is as bad and corrupt as he was taught, that it would always be against him.

she has an intense fear of abandonment and being alone by herself. it is hard for her to handle the thought of losing the beings she cares about or living her life without them. (ex. phobos, apollo, pluto, jahan, mars, rima, tenma, etc.)

in addition to above, while not a direct fear, reliving her father's death and being unable to do anything about it (as it was when she was a child) is something that disturbs her greatly.

important events:

stay alive
diana is captured by a high ranking official in gao yuan zu's army shortly after the first main battle of the kou civil war. her and phobos get separated, she gets tortured and assaulted before phobos saves her.

evil arises iii
diana and rima tracked down and killed a woman they were chasing. diana has a near death experience here and a fever dream from the poison injected into her system.

untimely event
diana, rima, phobos, pluto, and yamato make their way to a town and get attacked by the masked man. rima and diana's black blood acts up and this is the thread that marks the last time she sees rima or yamato ever again.
