Job Overview: Kogata Fumiko has ordered that the surrounding mountains nearby Mt Raiji be secured for greater ease of trade. Since Mt Raiji sits at the centre of the Kinan island, all trade goods must pass through the mountain range north towards the merchant harbour Yutaro - be it animal hides from the east, dyes made in the west or other wares. Thus, this location is integral for the Kogata alliance’s tightening grip upon the country. This path has you choose the eastern peak, populated with many different shrines. These shrines consist mostly of Kazeharu and Morihana sites of worship, and the Hinamoto wish to build a new road right beside them - inviting busy traffic into this religious place. You must either defeat the Hinamoto officers head-on and prevent the new road being built or take out the officers, stealing the building-plans and delivering them to Fumiko.

Night had hit Mt. Raiji, with the last bit of sunset fading along with the pastel violet and firey orange striping the horizon. He was sitting at the small outpost, as the ninjas would come in and out, leaving reports with him or the leader of the outpost, smoothing the in and out of information. Eight and the leader of the outpost would adjust the scouting reports, updating the movement reports, keeping an eye on all the other clans. As Eight and the head of the outpost were chumming around over some Kina-style team, one of the spies came in with the clan sea. 'That means Fumiko herself...' Eight turned his attention from the Outpost Captain, who had seemed to notice the same detail as he did.

The spy would come close after securing the room himself, as was standard protocol for these type of situations. The spy seemed a bit uncertain about letting Eight hear the news, but the Outpost Captain assuaged his concerns, explaining that Eight would likely be the one to handle it in the first place as he had been coordinating every single sabotage mission.

The spy sighed while handing over the scroll with important information, glaring at Eight, unable to hide his concern for foreigners. The spy would walk out of the building in a huff, but Eight followed behind him with a smile as he shut the door behind the spy after complimenting the spy on his work. AS soon as the spy left, Eight rechecked the room to his liking, making minor adjustments wherever the spy secured the room.  

The outpost captain having spent a few months beside Eight was amused by his childlike behavior, but still able to respect him due to the quality of his work, and how well he fit into the Kogatan ways, sharing many of their beliefs, not looking down on them for their pragmatic ways. Afterwards, he would snap open the wax seal and spreading it on the wooden table the pair was sharing. Eight stood side by side with the post captain as they would breeze through the writing in a few moments. The orders hinted at a secondary order. This particular mission was to secure the eastern mountain range. Should they be able to complete this task, the victory for Kogata would essentially be guaranteed. Being able to bar the Shikizui and the especially the Hinamoto clan full of merchants from trade would be a death knell to the clan, stopping reinforcements of mercenaries and supplies to a clan who only knew how to buy their way to power. Eight was able to deduce if the purpose of this mission was to strangle to the supply chain into the country, that meant the other order would be to secure the western peak as well.

Eight reviewed his notes and reports for a moment, it had seemed as if there was a Shikizui fort. This would take a much more heavy effort to take down or perhaps at the very least, buying some time to get some proper spies in place, even though the former seemed to be preferable given the situation. Requiem Jynx would likely be able to handle it, especially with the help from the rest of the crew, but this type of work very much depended on expediency, especially if they attacked one, and then the reports were spread up, defenses would surely increase as they fortify their key position.

"Eight, I don't know if you can handle this on your own, but we can't wait for everyone to get here." The outpost captain spoke the word with a singular intention. Eight keenly picked up on the subtle hints, thinking about the sort of team he could possibly bring. Leona and Diana, while being equal in power to him, were far too noble for a task like this, but Naruto...this was the clan the shinobi had pledged his allegiance to. Matters such as these were common place at a smaller scale, and it would likely be an honor for him to participate.

And more importantly, for Eight would be not to directly stop the incoming traffic, but to observe them and find the opportune moment to take out the Hinamoto and obtain access to their building plans, delivering it himself to Fumiko.

Thankfully, Naruto gave a full report of his estimated whereabouts in advance to Eight, making it several times easier to locate and find him. Allowing for some expediency with the task. Thankfully, these two high-ranked Hinamoto soldiers were already being kept tabs on. A pair of talented swordsman hired by the Hinamoto clan, while they are rivals they have the potential to synchronize well as well.

Their patrols and location by the construction site was being heavily monitored. The outpost captian would recall those spies to see if there was any variance in the information. It had seemed as if there was nothing major to report. But the Kogata way meant there was only one way to handle this, with the least amount of resistance. It had seemed as if there was minimal security at the outpost they would be sleeping at, very secure that their would be no conflict at the peak, how overconfident. It was clear, now they would simply have to get the plans, eliminate the soldiers, find the plans, and have Naruto replace one of the soldiers, perhaps acquiring a second Kogata ninja to impersonate the other and then havea pair of esteemed spies within the Hinamoto clan.

During this moment he asked for the outpost captain to find a second Kogata Ninja that could match the officers fighting style, while also being talented in impersonation as well. He knew communicating behind enemy lines was a skill Naruto lacked, so he would need someone accompanying him to fill in that gap.

Eight would talk to Naruto, having spent a lot more time with him. For some reason, Eight was actually concerned about the ninja, but still was willing to send the ninja behind enemy lines to gather more intel in service of the Kogata clan. Naruto would likely rejoice in his ability to participate in a high-ranking mission that he would normally be looked over for. But as Naruto arrived, Eight took him to the side, and told him of all the possible outcomes. The Hinamoto were the only clan that held a candle to the Kogata clan in terms of ruthlessness. But Naruto came with conviction. "I HAVE TRAINED RUTHLESSLY SINCEWE HAVE MET EIGHT-SAN. I KNEW JOINING YOU WOULD ALLOW ME TO PROVE MYSELF HONORABLY TO THE KOGATA CLAN. MY FAMILY WILL SURELY PROSPER THANKS TO YOU. AND TO MAKE SURE I STAY ALIVE TO SPEND THESE PROSPEROUS YEARS, I HAVE DECIDED TO SURVIVE."

Naruto dashed to Eight faster than even the Ooze overlord would be able to glide across the floor, it was as if he had reached the pinnacle speed for a trained Fanalis. "I have been training, at all times, while acting on your behalf. If you look at my location log, you will see the timings and my actions." Eight would look it over, and these speeds would match up to his flying carpet speeds. Naruto had been training for weeks on his won to be able to handle responsibility of this level from Eight.

This act would be ingrained in Eights mind. How Naruto had faith in Eights grandiose ideas, training for an event that might not even come to fruition, and earning the trust of Eight to such a degree. "Naruto, you must also change your weapon. I know you are a fan of the Sai, but to enhance your impersonation, you must use a Katana. Otherwise, it might be your downfall. Naruto looked a bit weary of the katanas that were offered from the outposts armory in exchange for the sai. Naruto would swing the swords, examining their weight, but as impersonation was one of his key abilities, adapting to a new method and techniques were a part of his repertoire. Naruto continued to practice with the blades without visual confirmation of the techniques of the officers, he wouldn't be able to reproduce them, especially when it came to actual combat, but Naruto would do the next best thing. Adjusting a single techniques from his own arsenal that used the Sai to be able to be use with the Katana after a few simple changes to his grip, power and timing. Everything seemed to be better about Naruto as if he had grown in the short period of time, after having met Eight. They would shake hands as they would make their final preparations before heading to the religious shrines between Hinamoto and Kazeharu. Eight and Naruto said their goodbyes.... in reality, should Naruto be caught, he could be restrained and killed. This could be the last time they could say good bye.

Eight and Naruto would under the dead of night to the Hinamoto outpost to kill the officers as well as foil their plans. Giving just enough time for the outpost captain to get a companion for Naruto on his undercover mission to infiltrate the Hinamoto clan, which could possibly bar much fruit. Naruto would lead the way because of his expertise in stealth. Eight would attempt to mimic as much as possible but not even close to Narutos level of dexterity, but better than he would have without a guide. They took time to when the outpost was as clear as possible from any other sort of guards, keeping silent as well as accounting for the wind and odor, amongst other things. After entering through a poorly secured window, Eight and Naruto found the officers, but they immediately sensed the presence of the Kogatan pair. Naruto tossed a smoke bomb into the ground, cracking it open to release vast amounts of smoke into the room. At that time, the officers would scream for reinforcements, but Eight would immediately counter the action by using his axe to wedge the door to the officers rest area closed.

In the smoke, still able to make visual contact, one of the Hinamoto Officers would attack the ninja with tiger's claw. The pair of sword strikes into his right arm, disabling the use of his arm temporarily. The concerned Eight would cast Snack time , forming a small, almost doughy bite in his handand shoving it into Narutos mouth, to restore his vitality, important if he had to impersonate the officers after the struggle.

Thuds were heard from the door, fists pounding. The other officer took the time to strike Eight with a hornets string. After the 5 meter dash, thanks to the smoke bomb, it would have missed the vitals but Eight had weaved a shield of slime. Between the shield and his natural defenses, the shield broke, but Eight was completely unharmed, but with his open hand, he would use the Demon's Sword to counter , cutting the hinamoto officer down to size. While the partially paralyzed Naruto would use his kunai for an iron rain covering the Hinamoto officer in ninja knives. It was at this time, that the pounding against the wedged door transferred from fists, to a battering ram.

Finally, Sasuke would show up, coming through the window, entering as the cloud of smoke would begin to dissappate. Sasuke and Naruto would each get one body, taking their clothes for themselves, making it easier to explain the source of the attacks as a Kogatan spy. Eight pulled out his magic carpet, using it as a hearse. Both dead hinamoto corpses would be tossed onto the carpet. Naruto grabbing Eights axe, between hits from the battering ram, tossing him his weapon, as Naruto and Sasuke began their impersonation task while Eight would fly with his carpet, everything in tow, leaving without a hitch, until Eight feverishly remember the goal was getting the plans, he searched the bodies for any traces, and there it was, orders from the hinamoto clan. Eight declined to read it, but going directly to Fumiko with the news, dropping the bodies off to a cleaner from Kogata to get rid of the evidence.

Description:
The user spurns a gelatinous snack  to be devoured. Albeit an acquired taste, this jelly bun is rife with magically nutritious prokaryotes which enhances the body's capacity for healing. For the next four turns, the target is healed as if targeted by a D-Tier healing spell.


Name: Zhuàng Láng

Type: Magic Weapon - Axe
Magic Type: Strength
Appearance: Zhuàng Làng is a hefty battle axe, made of red and black stained steel. It measures 1.75m long from the swirl-grip (which is 10cm wide) to the rounded butt of the weapon (14cm wide). Its blade is an additional 25cm long and 40cm wide, the metal covered in etchings and two black stripes. The handle of the blade is covered in a black grip and 7cm wide,  with an additional bar (5cm) running parallel for better hold and control. On the right face of the axe's blade is a glowing Magic Circle.
Function:

• Grow - By feeding magoi into the axe, it will become cascaded in powerful strength magic. The user is then capable of controlling the total size and length of the weapon's blade. The total length the blade can extend up to is 20-meters, and the width 10-meters. These sizes are just the maximum potential, the function can be used to adjust to any size that doesn't go over these limits. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

Name: The Demon's Blade

Magic Type: Animation
Appearance: A disturbing eye rests in the middle of top of the hilt which begins moving and staring at the user, even blinking, when magoi is poured into the weapon. It is a weapon with no known origin, and the man who first found it said he found it in a tipped over chest full of gold along a dirt road. The man who found it soon died thereafter upon feeding the blade magoi. The hilt is 35cm long, and blade 50cm long. Its creepy aesthetic has earned it the name "The Demon's Blade". Its magic circle is located on the eye and glows purple for a split second when it is first fed magoi.
Function:

Demon's Eye - Upon applying magoi to the blade and stabbing a lifeless target either item or corpse, no larger of 10m meter, Demon's Blade applies its magic onto the target, animating it. The affected target will do the user's bidding and may travel up to 40m. It has A-Tier strength and basic human walking speed. The affected target lasts 4 posts. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain

Description:
A magical flying carpet that allows the user to soar through the sky. It measures 2 meters in width, 3 in length, and about 20cm in terms of thickness, making it quite flexible.
Function:

• This magical carpet gives a 25% word count reduction on traveling topics.
  
• The carpet can fly at great speeds equivalent to an A-tier flight spell, up to a height of 60 meters. The carpet can hold up to 5 people at a time before being weighed down. This function is free in social situations but costs magoi to be used in combat or when under attack. 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.
  

Name: Naruto Kogata

Description: A ninja trained in the arts of stealth, explosives, and ninjutsu from the Kogata. Wielding dual sais they carrying satchels with equipment hidden under their normal haoris. Underneath they can switch into navy blue ninja garb covering their appearance, the clan symbol is on their back.

Able to blend in as a member from any clan in Kina or Kou, through physical actions, pretending for several days at a time without a problem, if the act is held long enough, it is able to deceive certain clairvoyance spells, if it makes sense. Can be instantly uncovered by any investigation traits higher than B-tier or can be uncovered after 3 posts by investigation and sensory traits at B-tier, or the clan leader of the clan impersonated.

Can hide super well and blend in. Using a wide variety of clothing and techniques to blend into any background. Can blend into crowds, or people of several employments within Kina, can also blend into their surroundings, urban and camouflage. Using painted outfits or by adding objects to his attire to break his silhouette, such as shrubbery. Can be detected instantly by sensory traits above B-tier, can be detected after 3 posts by sensory B-tier traits.

Abilities:

• Iron Rain- The user leaps 5m into the air throwing kunais at a target up to 25m away throwing a spray of kunais into their pack dealing B-tier damage in the forms of stabs across the back or front.
  
  
• Steel Wind- With their sais the user runs in an arc going out up to 5m out arcing towards a target up to 20m away they end the run with a quick stab which does B-tier damage with one of their sais.
  
  
• Brooding Metal Clouds- Throwing down a pellet the user explodes the object which sends out a cloud made from smoke and iron sand with a slight gunpowder mix. If it gets in your eyes it does C-tier damage and those within cannot see for two posts. The cloud is 20m in diameter.
  
  
• Storm Cleanse-  With their mix of explosives the user jumps 10m in the air throwing an air of bombs creating an explosion 30m in width and 5m in height which does A-tier damage to those caught within it.
