Turning the page of his magic book, the words would detail the different types of magic in the world. How one class of Magician had a calling or affinity to another type. With each page, the book would detail more into the different types of magic overall. It was here that he learned he could poetinially cast Lightning magic. Going through the chapter of Orange Mages he would read how some could gather lightning from the sky, others magnetizing other things. It would even show proof of some using Iron sand with their magic which he thought could be cool with his flint pistols.

Having studied this chapter for about two hours or so, the Life mage would walk out from the hotel he was staying in and walked over to the outer walls. There was a stream that he would follow until he came to an open field where it seemed there was very low foot traffic.

Opening the book back to the basics of conjuring lightning, he would grip his staff as he sat down and closed his eyes. He would focus on his magoi allowing it to flow throughout his body. he would start focusing and building it to run throughout his body over and over. Speaking to the Ruhk he would command them to combine with his magoi to make sparks of electricity. This would be the basics of in his mind before moving into more complex and stronger spells. He knew two things, one he wanted to increase his fighting power for more hand to hand things, and two make himself more versatile with his spells. Currently, he only had two summons, a skin shield, and his flesh-eating bacteria combo.

A wider range of spells would help him, even more with him currently studying fighting with the coliseum. He was interested in learning the way of the sword while understanding why some willingly went into a battle that could be the end of them. The worst part was that there was more who came out and bet on lives like those who fought were lesser beings. This angered him honestly. It was like the feeling he felt when that mage refused to heal his wife when she was sick, which was why he killed him. The first to be punished on his long list of those to correct.

For a few weeks, Julius would return here every day for about four or five hours making these sparks and commanding the ruhk with this new attribute he was learning. He was happy he was even able to cast another form of magic, more so being self-taught.

After some time , about a month or so the mage had grown with his abilities to command the lightning magic.  He had learned to channel and hold it while giving it a shape, structure, a form to take and maintain At first it was just black lightning that charged from his stave outwards.  Simple lightning strikes were nothing to be proud of but it progressed if nothing else.  In a few days time, the bolt started to become something stronger, and take more of a shape that fit its caster.    The bolts would come together taking the form a snake's head. It would stretch out for 5 meters before sizzling out.

"It seems I have some inner animal that wishes to be free, but a snake of all things?  It sheds its skin, some kill their own for food, and some are filled with Vinum others poison.  Though all sink their fangs into something."

Not being much of the outdoors type the young mage would leave his training area returning back to the inn he was staying in. Reim had a lot of beautiful things for the eye to see. However, its beauty was just something to make the eyes look there and not at the root of the evil and hate that filled this place. Once he was back within his room he would shower refreshing his body. He'd put a pot of water to boil while setting up some herbs he had gotten from the market on his way back. Sitting on the floor he would cross his legs taking a deep breath before focusing his magoi. Channeling it throughout his body he would build it and let it fill his body like a cup with water.

The magoi in his body would start to slowly grow building his control over it and increasing the amount he could draw out. In the past weeks while he had been carrying out his will on Reim's farms he was running close to the end of his limits with his magoi. He could feel himself drawing into darkness almost passing out. That was something he never wished to see happen again, this would be a motivation and drive for him to increase his current limits. There was no way at his current state he could carry out his goal of punishing the world for their greed and hate on each other. Only a restart of the world guided by a man who could lead it into a world where there was no hate, no greed, no where for greed to set root.

The pot would start to whistle alerting him it was time to add the tea to the water. Leaving his meditation he would walk into the kitchen like area and pour a cup of tea. Bring it to his lips he'd give it a light blow cooling it before pressing the cup to his lips taking a sip. The taste was delightful and refreshing. His body was tired from trying to use the new magic type over and over and building up his magoi. A good day's rest would do hi some good. After finishing up his cup of tea he would head to bed.

After waking the man would travel back to the training ground, once there he would once again remove his jacket and hat stroking his hair back and taking a deep breath. There was much work to do, and little time to do it if he was to be ready to fight and take out the council. Looking out towards the tree he had been striking at with the basics of his new found magic. Though now it was time to give it shape and purpose. Gift it a name and test the strengths of the attack in full. Lifting his staff up he would take aim.

The user points their weapon at the target they wish to hit. Red Lightning starts to build around the weapon until enough electricity builds up swirling around the weapon before being cast out traveling at C tier speeds covering up to 20 meters. When the Spell is cast the lightning takes the form of a snakehead. When the spell hits the target it does so by making look as if the snake sinks its fangs into the target. When it hits the target it applies D tier Arc burns and paralyzes the limb hit. This prevents the limb from moving for 1 post. The snakehead is .5 meters in height and can be up to 20 meters in length.

The snakehead would find it's mark lightly burning the outside bark of the tree. Looking at the damage he would sigh. It would do for what it was though he was sure he could make it greater.
Taking aim he would use the spell again this time giving it a name. The name was as simple as the spell, his words came out calm but strong. "Lightning Snake" the crimson snake would come out once more come to life hitting above his last use. His aim was off though something that could be fixed. This was the first time he really had a spell with such nature, one purely made with the intent to harm directly instead of using his knowledge.

Watching the flash of light leave from his stave he had to admit that lightning had such beauty to it. The destructive power gave him goosebumps up and down his arms and neck. An odd grin would cover his face, it was one with mixed emotions, terror, and joy.   Perhaps he should look more into the other elements of magic, see what other destructive powers they could hold.  The power with lightning alone at his fingertips would be enough to give him the edge in multiple encounters, especially close up encounters.  The electricity would easily help him make his opponents fall to the ground spasming out in pain or simply stun them outright. There would have to be much practicing and studying the nerve system within all humanoids that walked this planet. mostly the Fanalis race he heard of.

Standing upright once more he'd tap his staff onto the ground three times while chanting the words of his spell. "Bio Warrior" His words commanding the ruhk as he applied his magoi into three nearby bugs.  They would morph and change until they stood before him. A large bug-like monster that stands about 3 meters tall.  It's figure changed and morphed into something vile and sinister looking. It doesn't matter what type of bug is used the end resort is pretty much the same. Their form becomes humanoid with arms and 2 legs. At the end of each arm is a stinger that deals D tier piercing damage. The creature movies at D tier speeds and  D tier endurance.Must remain within 10 meters of the caster.

Once they had grown into their full length he'd have each one move a bit away from him, about 9 meters or so.
Facing the first one the young man would point his stave at it.  Closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath he would channel his magoi into his stave.

He'd now have targets for his training where he could see how living tissue would be effected. This was glorious, to be honest. Slipping his stave back down like a cane he other arm clamped around his right as it lifted upward to his face. His left hand rubbing his chin as he thought. One by one Julius would use his Lightning Snake on each other the bio warriors. The first one, black lightning roared fast but packed less of a punch only scratching its bug-like shell. Again he would blast out the snake of black lightning pouring more of his magoi into the spell, this time the head of a snake would appear with his spell moving until it pierced the target fully causing it to explode.

His eyes would light up, there was a lesson here. Lightning would become a useful tool in his kit, it would also have more properties than just destruction. Looking at the other two Bio warrior he'd stop feeding magoi into them letting them crumble into nothing. Lower his arm he took a breath of relief. HE was getting drained each day he would practice though, each day he practiced he was feeling better and better. His magoi and stamina were increasing. His control over his lightning would be increasing. 2 weeks would pass in no time, in this time he would improve vastly. During the day he was outside blasting out lightning from his stave, not just in the form of the lightning snake but in other ways as well. In one of his new spells, it would send out a pulse of black lightning which would paralyze his prey for a short time. This would be useful in dealing with rushing enemies or more than one foe at the same time. He could do a lot in combat with just this small trick along with his snake attack. However, his new list of skills did not stop there, no Julius had spent each night reading his book on lightning magic, the properties of it, the studies, and theories of it. With each night of study, he would know yet another way or better ways to cast his spells. There was just something about this type of magic that made him wish to try and master this field fully. It was this type of thinking that led him to come up with applying the magic to himself to increase his speeds. Currently, it would only be a 5-meter dash but this was the breakthrough. Again he was surpassing limits his body had and used magic to increase the limits even if for only a short time.

The bounds he was improving at over these two weeks were amazing even for himself. He was able to turn his stave into a proper melee weapon. HE could charge it with lightning which was the basics of this spell, however, over the time of two weeks it had evolved into something much more. It now would have a blade on the then end of his stave. It thought it rather useful as it would turn a blunt weapon into a magical slashing weapon. On top of that, the blade would extend 3 meters off his stave allowing it to be more of a pike weapon. This was going to increase his overall combat prowess without a doubt. In fact, with this, he would now have abilities that would allow him to fight hand to hand combat. He could practice this in the Coliseum within Reim while he finished he research there.
He could also take this time to make an Alias for himself now that he had an entirely different set of skills he could use. Though he'd have to say the most impressive spell he made out here would be his repulse spell. He would use the magnetic properties of lightning magic to negatively charge his stave to strike another weapon or object and send it backward. This spell would allow him to fight the way those warriors did but with magic, not strength. He would continue to evolve during his training until the day had come and he was ready to test himself fully in overwhelming odds.

The night before his final training day he would meditate and focus on why he was doing this. The greed of humanity of the world which had taken his Wife away from him. The selfless which took his mother from him. The power-hungry forced his father to flee Kou where his mother and father would fall prey to sickness. The world refused to help out the kindness of their hearts anymore. The world was a place of nothing but pain and suffering because of the status a few metal coins give you. Even the type of metal you wore in your ears or around your neck. It was more sickening then his flesh-eating spell. His rage-filled and started refuel his body allowing him to feel anew.

The next morning the man would look out to the field he had been training in. Scorch marks covered most of the area. Burnt and charred bark would litter the ground as if the tree were shredded. This was going to be a test for him, he was going to put all his new skills to the test. This morning would be the proof of his determination to Bring Reim down! "Bio warrior!"
speaking the spell name to the ruhk and commanding them while flowing his magoi into a nearby bug causing it to morph and change into something monstrous once he combines it with life magic. Julius would do tap his staff twice while scaling this spell.

Four large bug-like monsters that stand about 3 meters tall. It's figure changed and morphed into something vile and sinister looking. It doesn't matter what type of bug is used the end resort is pretty much the same. Their form becomes humanoid with arms and 2 legs. At the end of each arm is a stinger that deals D tier piercing damage. The creature moves at D tier speeds and D tier endurance. Must remain within 10 meters of the caster.

His crimson hues would look at his four creations as they look back at him. He knew one or two on their own was nothing for him to deal with now, however, four should be enough to properly test himself. "Your task is all but simple, you will attack at once and I will defend myself the best I can. Killing me is the goal. "

With the four bio warriors in front of him Juulis would nod for them to start, first thing was first distance. "Lightning Reflex" As these words were spoken the four bug humanoids would leap into action attempting to land coordinated attack. Too slow though, coating himself with their Magic supercharging their legs with black lightning allowing their legs to go beyond their natural limits moving in a straight line for 5 meters. Taking one step his body would instantly move past the four bio warriors. While moving past them he'd hold his stave out and speak another spell Lightning Blade"

When commanding the ruhk the user holds their weapon in hand and covers their weapon in their magoi. The Magoi is then converted into a blade of black lightning that reaches out 3 meters from their weapon. The weapon sings with voltage, as the blade of the spell is only 4 cm thick mirroring that of a short sword. When the sword finds its mark it applies at Tier level Arc burns. Deal C tier damage.

With his blade now out, Julus would shift his weight to his right foot and pivot while swinging his body to do a one-eighty degree spin facing his monsters again. Pointing his blade at the closest one to him the staff would start to flow with even more black lightning. "Lightning Snake"

The bolt would flash out zapping on of the closest bio warrior in the head bursting it into small parts. Green ooze flying out as the black lighting snake connected sinking its fangs into the creature.

With one down, the other three would spread out, Julius would watch as they seemed to understand they would have to attack together. They would start to circle Julius until at once they would move in on him, each one using their claw to strike out at him. He would not have time to dodge them all or even block them all, he'd have to pick which one to get hit by. of course, the frontal attack would have to be dealt with and the other two would just have to find their mark for now. Julius would swing his arm out allowing his stave with the lightning blade to find it's mark before the bio warrior could reach him. As his arm started to retract his weapon back towards his body, he felt two stabs into his back each dealing D tier damage to Julius.

Their second attacks would soon start to come in attempting to do another set of damage to him. However, Julius would sustain his lighting reflex and take a single step forward before instantly moving 5 meters He had to admit that when he used this spell his body felt amazing. It was almost like a higher state of living at that moment being able to move this fast. Now that he had traveled pas the last two Julius would speak another spell "Lightning wave"

Pointing their weapon at their target a 2-meter ring of Black Lightning forms. A pulse of electric energy is then realized at the target. If the Ring of Black Lightning hits a living target it applies D tier paralyzing effect to them stunning the target for 1 post. This spell has a 20-meter range. The bio warrior of the left would be the target of this attack, they would try to dodge it but the spell traveled faster than they did and from this range, it would be harder to dodge. It would fall to the ground unable to move.

The bio warrior that wasn't effected would make its move as the spell would leave the stave. Seeing this Julius would swiftly shift his lighting blade over toward it. Yet again he would speak the name of a spell. "Repelling Strike" His stave would look like a superconductor at this point with all the black lightning flowing from his stave.

Applying lightning magic to their weapon, the user charges a negative magnetic pull into their weapon causing another object to make contact with it to be pushed back as long as the incoming attack is of the same tier or lower to this spell. When this spell is activated a black surge of lightning covers the weapon used before a pulse pushes out from the weapon. The claw attack by the bio warrior would meet his lighting blade clashing, His lightning blade would have already overpowered the attack alone, but now while dealing D tier damage to the claw, the claw would also be forced backward. With a Quick jab and step the lightning blade would strike true once more catching the unbalanced creature off guard and stabbing it through its head killing it.

Only one more bio warrior remained. Julius could feel how tired he was, though he had to admit he wasn't as drained as he used to be when creating these bio warriors. Walking over slowly to the last bio warrior paralyzed on the ground Julius would step on its throat and stab his blade into his head slaying it.

All four of his creatures had been taken out. The entire battle perhaps 30 seconds to be truthful. He knew he was no warrior but he also knew there was much he could learn if he kept fighting in the Reim coliseum. For now, he would train there and conduct his plans to take Reim down, using their own resources to fuel his power and make him stronger. He'd know the day would come where he'd possibly have to face the Fanalis Corps or this Unity Corps.
