Necromancy is a form of magic involving communication with the deceased – either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them bodily – for the purpose of divination, imparting the means to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge, or to use the deceased as a weapon, as the term may sometimes be used in a more general sense to refer to black magic or witchcraft. To desecrate the remains of someone was such an unbearable thought, how could a person that does these horrible acts consider themselves to be human. Or do they consider themselves as gods among men? “Either way, I never ran into one myself.” Lagi would sigh as he puts down the wanted poster of a notorious necromancer that’s been causing some trouble for quite some time. His abilities of summoning gouls are a force to be reckoned with, and just being near the guy can render you mysteriously unconscious. “I guess when you work around rotting flesh all the time, you start to look and act a certain type of way. Who knows how many diseases that this guy contains, he’s practically a human health hazard. Of course, I’m always up against the freaks of nature in this town. But complaining won’t get me anywhere; let’s go to town to get some leads Zygus.”
Zygus was eating some bird food the entire time that Lagi was contemplating about how he should handle the necromancer problem. He can see why the people of Zou would have a hard time with dealing with some of his character. It’s like he’s justifying all of his crimes because the people are afraid of him or something. I don’t like it; it’s actually starting to piss me off a bit.” Lagi went around town in Zou, asking people about the necromancer that has been wreaking havoc within the town with his nonsensical deeds. He finally found someone that was willing to talk. It was a little boy; he seemed a little traumatized as to what he seen just a moment ago” I saw the man in a black cloak; he was trying to kidnap me a moment ago. I ran away, it was a scary moment. “Lagi heard about the recent kidnappings that has been going on in Zou, why was the necromancer kidnapping children? Was he going to use them for a sacrifice or something? Was there a high level spell that the necromancer was trying to succeed in performing? “Where is the necromancer? Where was the last place that you seen him?” The little boy pointed over to the direction of where the cemetery was. “That’s where all the kids use to play until he showed up. He should be over there right now.” LAgi nodded and hopped on the back of Zygus. His bird made a proud screech as it flew off into the direction of the cemetery. “I’ll give that bastard a taste of his own medicine alright. The only difference is that he’s not getting back up afterwards.
