“ Young Master. Today a wonderful day. Don’t waste it sitting inside the mess you made. I’ve seen you anger, and upset. But returning the favour to the people, and helping out will bring your spirits up. Please just get out this house. Nothing more would bring us, and me joy. “ She said from the door frame. Aseo, sat on the bed with his hair falling down to almost hit the floor. Head resting inside his palms. ” I don’t have any time to waste. Helping these people? These people whom I hadn’t met a couple of months ago. What would helping them bring me? Joy? You say? I haven’t felt true joy since I’ve been here. But for the servants, and you I may as well go. Y’all have been the only light in this darkness held behind Asehi’s name. “ Aseo, said. Sorrow in his voice. Keeping his head up, and dropping his hands to his side. Aseo, stood up. ’ What exactly do you have in mind for me to do? I don’t know how to give back to this dying community. “ He, said. Stepping over to his broken up desk. Pulling out pinnacle expecting to hear his servant speaking. She in fact left the room, and another took her place. ” Young Master, The local hospital needs volunteers. Would you care to take upon their request? Seeing in how your previous conversation went. I’m sure helping your fellow soldiers who didn’t exactly come out unscarthed would ease your mind. “ The new servant, said. Aseo, was collecting his equipment preparing. More servants seem to gather out his room, seeing as he calmly and silently roamed his mess. At a angle, he stopped. Looking out the window, with his right hand touching the trim. ” Please don’t clean up this mess. This is my problem, and I’ve caused this in my anger. If any of you touch this, I’ll be upset so please don’t. Anyways. What’s the location of this hospital? “ Aseo, said. Getting his cane from behind the silk. Kicking through some scattered papers, he headed over to the door. ” Give me directions, please. Aseo, said. The mood different from the other night. They all looked at each other, possibly expecting him to put up more of a fight. ” Um.. yes, Young Master. Right this way than. “ The servant sort of lost for words.

Being escorted down to the living room. The servant explain the directions of how to head off to the hospital from the house. Aseo, had given him a handshake before leaving. ” Thank you for the directions. “ Aseo, said. His mood wasn’t all cheered up, nor was a small on his face. But he left the house with a goal? Or was he just going feeling the repent from the exploding and killing his comrades. Only he would know, and have these thoughts. Closing the front door behind himself, he’d make his way off to volunteer and help ease pain.

It had only been roughly two days since the large battle had ended. The little boy she saved was wrapped gently within soft furs in a chair. His large crimson eyes watched Diana as she moved around the hospice. He hadn't spoken since they returned to safety and she had to carry him around almost everywhere. While the drugs had left his body, the damage it left was still present. Every once in a while, he would have a seizure. She was glad that he wasn't in much pain; or so he showed. Once he was healed, she planned to bring him to an orphanage. Though the thought of letting him go was fleeting. She wouldn't admit it but he was slowly growing on her. Pluto had taken a liking to the tike as well. They all had a special bond that brought them together. But in her dangerous world, there was little place for a child. No matter how strong he is.

Diana had brought herself to a local hospice that was filled to the brim with wounded soldiers. They all had served the emperor against Gao Yuan Zu a few days ago. Yet their suffering still lasted. There were a great lack of magicians and too many to mend. She was there to have her wound checked out. After having her wounds healed with life magic so many times, natural healing took longer than it normally would. Her body wasn't used to the slow repair of a wound so it was still as fresh as when she got it. Under the busy bustle of the hospice, she took it upon herself to dress it herself. Diana sat down next to one of the sleeping patients and used the bandages nearby to wrap her wound. Every now and then she would gaze over towards the chair she sat the child in. After Diana was finished, she had noticed the place needed a bit of a helping hand. She unwrapped the black bow from the small parts of hair it was holding up and tied the rest into it to form a ponytail.

"I'll be around if you need me." Her hand rustled the child's red hair as she walked out into the bustling crowd. "Are you here to help or are you hurt?" A woman stopped briefly in front of her, gazing her up and down. Diana pulled her sleeve down over her bandaged shoulder. "I will help if you'd have me," she replied, bowing her head slightly. "Well, we sure would! Now, what I need you to do is check each row. See if they need anything aside from medical attention. We don't need common folk like you doing sutures. There are rations at the front if they want food or water and if they need more blankets or pillows, those are in the center area. Got it?" As she spoke, the woman pointed in all sorts of directions. Diana was a bit confused but she nodded confidently, "Yes." The woman nodded back. "Good, now get to work." She walked away and Diana let out a sigh. Her work was certainly going to be cut out for her today.

Aseo, clicked his cane against the stone. It had been a while since he was last able to do so. Kou, hadn’t changed much in his mind. Hate had entered and swept through into his mind. Aseo, knew he couldn’t let a lot of the hate take over, but emotions proved him wrong. Aseo, was just getting started down his dark path though. His head hanging down as he walked. Not paying attention to where he was going, he bumped into a man holding his child hand. “ Excuse you, Sir. “ He said angrily. Aseo, sort of jumped in shock. Like he had just woke up from a deep trance. ” Apologies… “ Aseo, said. Voice light as a feather. But he continued walking on the path he was told. Many people were either sitting outside on the street as he made his way. Others that weren’t had set up shop trying to sell what little they had left.  ” This area in pretty bad shape. I wish they weren’t going through all this. All that could change. “ Aseo, said to himself. Each step clicked with the ground. Clicking coming from his cane. Aseo, eyes were sort of dulled. Looking sort of zombie like as he came to finally approach the Hospital. Than a large grumbling happend to release from his stomach. Aseo, leaned over, and held it. ” Ahhh.. So hungry. Should’ve.. ate..” He said. Leaving the house without eating wasn’t the plan. Aseo, had been in a slump so he forgot. “ Oh dear, Are you hurt mister? “ A nurse had came outside. She seemed worried about him like he was a patience. Aseo, waved her off from his side. ” If you consider hungry pains, hurting. I suppose you could say. Hahaha, but I’m here to help. “ Aseo, said. Immediately, the nurse changed moods. “ Should’ve said that. Take this name tag and enter the building quickly. We have little supplies, and need all the assistance.  Follow behind me. “ The nurse said. Her tone changed almost instantly. Aseo, picked himself up and moved. ‘ Hopefully they have food in one of these rooms. ‘ Aseo, thought. Sort of sneaking food from the injured didn’t bother him. Aseo, hadn’t even learned of what he had to do yet. ” So um.. Nurse. What am I going to do? I haven’t the slightest clue. “ Aseo, said. Pacing behind the fast moving nurse. “ First off you’ll start by tending to the wounds. Next you’ll meet the first volunteer. Third, you’ll wash the injured.. AheAheAhe. If you don’t mind, I’ll take my leave. “ The nurse, said.

He couldn’t believe it. She was actually planning to make him wash the injured. Aseo, shook at the thought. Shaking his head to block the images from appearing. ” Sun Liang, doesn’t compare to her...ha ha ha..” Aseo, joked. But he sort of scared himself. Holding his chest remembering the wound. Blinking and beginning to breath harshly, he’d have some flashbacks. Aseo, stepping back to catch his breath. Cold sweat running down the side of his head. “ You good? “ The nurse said. Her head peeking from the corner. ” Yeah.. yeah “ Aseo, said. Heading off to begin tending to wounds. Stepping into the room. Aseo, looked down the line. Five patients he needed to tend to. “ Sigh…” Just came out his mouth. Aseo, had went to each of the five patients asking what sort of assistance they needed. Getting it all figured out, Aseo sprung into action. Collecting meals for them, resorting their medicine intake, and then changing their dirty bandages to clean. ” Anything else needed? Just call for Aseo. “ He, said. Standing over a sink. Using a cloth to wipe one hand at a time, looking over his shoulder. That’s when he noticed, the platinum haired woman. ‘ She must be the other volunteer? Perhaps… No no no. I don’t know yet, maybe I should introduce myself. No no no… ‘ Aseo, thought to himself. His cheeks flushed up bright red. ” Um… Miss.. Umm… “  Aseo, couldn’t tell how long it’s been since he last talked to a female besides Ting, Jingyi, or Aoife. Jingyi, it felt like he knew her and made an instant connection. For Aoife, they are both magicians, and she was the first female he ever met. Than there’s Ting… Aseo shrugged the thoughts of her away. Now he’s faced with looking at the platinum woman from a distance. Aseo, still making the mumbling miss noises. Hopefully she picks up this, but Aseo wasn’t really audible so if she didn’t he wouldn’t be heart strung.

Diana made her way to the bed furthest down the line. She continued to walk down, greeting them with as much kindness as she could muster and inquiring if they needed anything. This was the case if they weren't sound asleep. However, she had visited one individual who was particularly familiar. It was like looking at a ghost. She didn't realize he had survived the battle and was surprised to find out he was alive. It was one of the guards who were tasked to watch the prisoners along side her. "H-Hey..." Her race was somber and her voice stuttered as she anticipated him to judge her decision to abandon her post. The bright smile on his face told her another story. Was he truly happy to see her despite the circumstances? "Hey," he coughed, struggling to prop himself up on the pillows that were behind him. He hadn't sustained many injuries but it was clear he was still in pain.

"Ah, let me help you," she said, rushing over to help him sit up. The energy around him felt warm. There was no hint of hostility felt towards her. "Thank you. What has you all worried, my lady?" He struggled to laugh but despite his pain, his spirits were high. It was people like him who restored her faith in the world. Diana shook her head, "It's nothing." She returned his smile with her own. "You don't need to address me with such formalities. You may call me Diana. I'm no more than a commoner." He seemed taken aback by her words like he did not believe her. She furrowed her brows in confusion. "For a woman who saved my life, you're a hero to me! If it weren't for you, I'd be dead." He placed his hand on top of hers, his eyes dazzling with hope. "I'm Wu Fen. But you can call me Fen." Diana bowed her head slightly out of respect.

"Well, Fen. Is there anything you need?" she asked. He shook his head, pulling the covers over himself. "Not at all. But I'm sure others will need your help. If you ever need a place to stay, my home is your home. I'm sure my wife would love to meet you." Diana nodded as she took her leave. "May your ancestors grant you good health, Fen." After she left, she continued down the rows, helping out the patients with their needs. Before she could even finish, the nurses even had her running errands for them. Diana was gathering some blankets for some newly admitted patients when she had a feeling that someone was watching her. It was just a hunch and she didn't expect to turn around to see a man standing a bit away from her. He was mumbling something but she wasn't able to make it out. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?" Her questions were genuinely caring and she could help but wonder if he was sick or just shy.

Aseo, had caught her attention. Barely got any words out. He had just stare for the first couple of seconds. What else could he be looking at? The towels she has? No… No… It had to be the women. Aseo, pinched himself. “ awh “ Aseo, winched. She had came closer, and he had just gotten weirder. It wasn't his fault. Anyone to blame would be his sheltered way of life. A true turtle hermit living inside most of the time. “ Ah… I need nothing. Just wanted to introduce myself… ha ha haha…? “ Rubbing the back of his head. An awkward laugh, and most likely becoming a awkward moment. “ May.. we accomplish helping our fellow citizens… and war mates. If you're apart of this silly civil war…
Aseo, jumping around for a answer.

Maybe he would've gotten it. That small chance disappeared. That had disappeared, multiple things had appeared. Ready to antagonize, and possibly kill. Aseo, turned to the door. Hands gripped firmly around his cane.” Halt! “ Aseo, shouted. Voice booming through the halls. Four men dressed in armor. Each one snarling like animals. Uncivilized they were. Yes were, because Aseo had already thought to end them.

They came towards the blonde haired women, and Aseo. He just chuckled. Minimum damage ? He knew nothing about that, Aseo tapped his cane against the floor. If the lady didn't mind, he pulled her near him. The four men came all together. A small smirked forming. Aseo, stepped in front of the women, placing his hand around her waist to hold her secure. Keeping his cane out in front of himself. The uncivilized soldiers charged into his range. Upon crossing, a small controlled vortex of dancing shards ripped through them like hungry locust swarms. Aseo seeing his own breath always made him shiver, and laugh.” My apologizes for the sudden hand placement… Just didn't want to see you get hurt. “ Aseo awkwardly chuckled, his hand found its grip to be rather squishy, round, toned, and bubbly? Yeah bubbly. Aseo had the thought of what he grabbed, but he knew she might’ve already thought of swinging on him. A small bead of sweat ran down his head even with the icy vortex coming to an end around them leaving a small numbing mist to anyone who wasn't in the eye of the vortex when it started.

Only thing that stood left was the well dressed man swishing in. He had a lean cut to him. Aseo, just made sure his vortex didn't cause a lot of damage to the surrounding area. Just the ground and roof damaged, and it was repairable damage.” Do I fight him? or should we make a run for it? Miss. “ Aseo, said. If she chooses fight him, Aseo would begin readying for another upper-tier skill. If not, he’d prepare to use a utility based effect to escape the environment and regroup.

The man seemed flustered for some reason. She felt bad for him. Diana stepped back a few steps and bowed slightly. It was a gesture she learned from a few locals. She felt strange doing it but it was their form of a handshake. "It's nice to meet you. My name is Diana," she said. But before she could ask for his name, he shouted out towards a group of men who walked through the doors of the hospice. "Hm?"

Diana couldn't help but feel confused. They hardly seemed hostile but perhaps the man knew more than her. "Who are the-." He had suddenly swooped his arm around her. Caught by surprise, he dropped the blankets she was holding. They dropped onto the floor with a loud thump. Due to his height, he had her in a grip that was a bit... high on her body. His hand rested upon her chest and it made the situation even more uncomfortable for her.

He tapped his cane onto the ground, casting a spell. The spell looked like floating shards of glass but it was cold. She could see a cloud of smoke escaping her mouth. Diana was more than confused. She had so many questions that she could barely think or speak. After the spell made quick work of the thugs, he quickly apologized to her. At a quick glance, there was minor damage to the area. None of the patients had got hurt. She was glad he was careful but she didn't like the fact he had killed them.

Her face turned into a scowl as she forcefully freed herself from his grasp. "I don't need your protection but thank you." As she spoke, her words were like a thick venom. Her irritation was clear and seemed to radiate off of her body. Another man had emerged through the door and Aseo asked her if he should fight him or if they should run. "Neither," she said briefly. Diana approached the man who had entered.

"What do you want?" she asked. His face was flushed and he donned a large grin. "It seems you've dealt with my lackeys. Hand over the supplies and no one gets hurt," he said. The soldier stepped forwards towards her, slashing his sword in two fluid motions. Diana moved without much thought. In a single step she was in his face, her fist shattering his ribs as her attack followed through. There were two deep cuts upon her chest. They weren't enough to kill her. But she didn't feel the need to dodge his atttheives"I hate thieves," she murmured after bringing her mouth to his ear. Diana grappled him and flipped him over her head and onto his back on the ground. A small crater surrounded him from the impact. Her gaze turned to one of the frieghtened nurses. "Get the guards to take him out of here and clean up these bodies." The woman seemed too scared to move which irritated Diana further. She took a deep breath and stormed over towards a sleeping red haired child. She lifted him up, carrying him with care. Diana looked towards Aseo, giving him a weak smile. "I need to get going but hopefully we will run into each other sooner or later," she said, hurrying out of the building.
