Faris' Rickety Boat Large

Name: Faris Basil (Kodo Takamaka)

Country Affiliation: Balbadd

Race: Imuchakk

Tier: D-Tier

Class: Warrior

Age + Birthdate: 19, 8/24

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight, but is attracted to extremely feminine men, so Bisexual.

Personality: By his large stature, he is often feared by most people. A legend has come up in the lower suburbs of Balbadd that there is a monster living along the shore, who roams at night. He is the opposite of how he looks. He is a very gentle person, seeming to have complete peace. He wishes for a day when peace is possible. But for now, he must use his looks to his advantage. He stands his ground with pride. He is fearless, able to push through situations when most would surrender from. He can be very intimidating if he has to be. But his day-to-day personality is very lazy. He would rather sleep in his boat fishing all day than go to war. He falls in love easy, but likes to hide his true feelings from everyone, he is very stubborn when being pressed about romantic scenarios, especially sexual.[/b]

Likes: Big butts, but in all seriousness, Faris loves fishing. He was raised in an area where there were only ice. The only time you would see full water is when you'd cut a hole in the ice to fish. When he finally ran to the docks and boarded the ship, the sensation of sailing was very new to him. He loves the feeling of the waves moving him around. It helps him sleep, and puts him in a good mood anytime he is on anything in the water, especially boats and ships. Faris also likes helping people do tasks. Despite the many people who fear him, there are ones who Faris has helped, who understand his true personality. He helps these people do difficult tasks like fishing for them, cleaning, and very heavy lifting; he once moved a giant boulder blocking a path to a beautiful watering hole, which has gems which give the water a glowing blue effect, the water as clear as glass.

Dislikes: Rudeness. If someone is very mean just to be mean, he will let them know what he thinks. Because of the years he spent watching his mother get beaten and harrassed, he takes it very personally when somebody is being an asshole. Faris also dislikes the ideaology that violence is the only answer. He only uses violence when it is the last option. He will do anything in his power to diffuse a situation peacefully, but if he must fight, he will. Anyone who tries to tell him otherwise, makes him irritated.

Aspirations: Faris' true aspiration is to be a leader, so that he can help as many people as he possibly can, no matter how small. Everywhere he goes, he inspires. His motto is "Never give up. Keep moving forward.", he refuses to give up on a single person, no matter how important they are. He is always there to offer his assistance. He hopes to someday cleanse the black rukh from his body, lifting the weight he carries every day. He also dreams of a wonderful romance, someone he can lay in a boat with at night, floating along the water as the stars reflect off of it, giving the illusion of floating in space.

Phobias/fears: He claims that he has a phobia of water, and a major fear of drowning (in reality it is because he uses charcoal for his hair dye). His true fears is losing the ones closest to him. He also fears the act of murder, any time he must kill, he is a different person. He has souless eyes in that kind of moment. He also fears very beautiful women. He claims they are out to get him, and attempts to avoid them at any cost, but when confronted, he will play it cool, while he freaks out in his mind.

Face-Claim: Yu Konda from D Gray Man

Hair Color: Blue, but hides it under charcoal, so typically Black.

Eye Color: Blue

Height: 269cm

Weight: 103kg

Appearance: Very tall, long torso, toned arms, toned legs, his chest is toned also. He usually only wears pants, and occasionally skinny-dips in the water, he wears a necklace around his neck with a large tooth hanging from it. It is from a sea creature he fought while out far in the ocean fishing. He calls it his "good luck charm". His hair is very long, going down his back, usually in a pony-tail. His long, black hair sometimes gleams with a blue hue, making him look ethereal.

Rukh Alignment: Black{Recovering from his past, he wishes for white rukh} (He used to have white rukh surround him when he was younger. But after he murdered the man who beat his mother, he has black rukh occasionally appears among the white rukh that shines bright. Anytime he is pressed about why he has black rukh, he snaps, not wishing to let go his hatred of the man who hurt his mother to the brink of insanity.)

Special Features: Long arms. He also has the name of his mother tatoo'd onto the top right half of his chest.

History: At a young age, he lost his father, before he could even walk. By the time he could walk, his mother had told him all of the stories of the hero that was his father. By that time, his mother started seeing new men, one of which abused his mother on a daily basis, but his mother was so desperate for affection that she couldn't leave him.

After years of watching his mother be beat unconcious, he finally had enough. He had heard the legends of being a man by defeating legendary sea monsters, and decided to take matters into his own hands, to defeat the monster in front of him. He killed that man violently, to the point where his own mother was afraid of him. Seeing the fear in her eyes woke him up from his dillusional frenzy. He had commited the most heinous act imaginable.

At age 13, he was a murderer. He had no home anymore. He ran to the docks, boarding the first ship he saw, sneaking in from the side. He stays on this ship, sneaking around gathering food until he is caught by one of the sailors, at which point, he jumps into one of their
wooden boats and descends from the ship into the ocean, drifting away to a new life, where he can try and live in peace, without pain or suffering. The stormy seas are unfogriving, however. That night Kodo Takama died. And Faris Basil was born.

Role-Play Sample:

"The legend of the Shore Monster"

The days in Balbadd are unforgiving in this incredibly hot season. In the outskirts of the city, a small shop in the middle of the desert is suffering from a drought that has plagued them for many years. Their once striving river is now only a shadow of its former self. Skeletons of dead fish lay at the bottom of the shallow river. Abandoned water-gathering tools have started to rust, many with webs covering it.

"Grandma, what can we do?", a little girl asks, her lips chapped and voice frail, "Your parents have gone to Balbadd to get us some water that will hopefully last us through to the next harvest.", the little girl looks down, her thirst very apparent in her appearance.

Days pass, no sign of the family members who went to Balbadd. The villagers in the small community pull together, trying their hardest to share the last remaining water they have. But as the sun rises, the villagers come to find that the last of their water had dried up through
the torturing heat. No hope in sight, the little girl returns home, where she cries dried tears.

That night, she thought of an idea that motivated her. She would travel all day to the shore, where she could get some water. Not knowing that the water from the sea is not drinkable, she was still motivated to do it. Though legend has it that a monster lives by that shore, but she
was on a mission to save her people, she couldn't let the fear of a monster scare her away from helping the ones she loves. She gathered her most important supplies, her teddy bear, and a loaf of bread would be all she needed.

As she left the village, she traveled for hours through the hot night, all the way through the scorching afternoon, until she finally reached an abandoned dock near the shore. It seemed run-down, but still like it was being taken care of. A large wooden hammer lay against the counter on the dock, a wooden cup with liquid in it sitting atop the wooden counter. The little girl rushes to it and proceeds to drink all of its contents, feeling refereshed and letting at a loud "Ahhh". Just as she does this, the ground shakes as footsteps come from inside the wooden
shack a few dozen feet away from the counter she is at. Before she can even move, a very tall, muscular shadow comes up to the door. And just before she is about to scream, she sees a blue hue come from around the figure. This hue for some reason gives her a vibe of peace. The tall man, with long black hair comes out of the shack and looks down, his face shows little emotion, and he looks very tired, as if he were just sleeping.

"Huh? Who are you?", he looks down at the cup she's holding. "...HEY. THAT WAS MY PEACH TEA!! Ahhhhhhh damn it! It took me days to get it right!", the little girl gets scared and starts to shake as he yells. He sees this and then his face goes from irritated to worrysome, "Hey. Don't worry, I'm not mad.", he walks towards her, his steps very light, so that everything does not shake. He looks down at her with a silly face, "Well? How'd it taste?", the little girl giggles at his silly face and responds, "I love it!". He chuckles at her adorableness and proceeds to go to the other side of the counter, looking through the hole in the middle of the pillar it is a part of. He hides under the counter and slowly brings his head up, making a funny face trying to get the girl to laugh. He succeeds. And after a few minutes of this he finally speaks, "My name is Faris. What's yours?", the little girl smiles big and says, "Koko! My grandma says it means great beauty", he smiles, "Great beuty indeed! So
what are you doing here? Did you get lost from your parents?", the little girl looks sad when he asks this. She explains to him the situation, his eyes growing larger and larger as she goes more into detail about the drought. Just as she mentions the drought, a light bulb pops up
above his head.

"A drought? Something must be blocking the path of the water. Has anyone tried to find out the problem?", the little girl shakes her head. "Well let's go find out what wrong with it.", he stretches out, popping some joints, showing that he has been lazy lately. He grabs his hammer and rucksack, and puts the girl on his shoulders, then begins running fast towards where the little girl came from.

Hours go by as they travel through barren rivers, trying to see if the path of the river is blocked. After what feels like an eternity, they finally come across a small canyon. Between the canyon, the river goes through. But at the middle of the canyon there is a giant chunk of rock that had broken off from the side of the canyon onto the path. Faris looks up and climbs to the top of the small canyon, looking on the other side of the boulder, there is a striving river booming with many fish jumping around. He smirks and jumps down to the boulder, placing his hammer at his side and places the girl down behind him. He gets onto his knee and tells her, "Stand back.", and stand back she does, as he spits on his hands, and grabs his wooden hammer, swinging it so hard that it sounds like a missle, and just as he hits the rock, it breaks. And when I say break, I don't mean the large rock. I mean his hammer. "FUCK!!!", Faris starts to shout a list of profanity, "FUCKING PIECE OF
SHIT!!! WHY CAN'T YOU DO THE ONE THING I BUILT YOU FOR?! SHIT! GIVE ME A GOD DAMN BREAK!", he looks down at the little girl, who heard everything. "...I mean darn it! That sucks!...Don't repeat any of that please." Faris looks at the boulder and begins to think about other options. He turns to the girl and speaks, "Go back to your village, take my supplies. Tell them that there is going to be water very soon. Tell them to get away from the side of the river, because it's going to be shooting back down very fast.", he smiles wide as he waves goodbye to her, the little girl runs, trying to be as fast as the man she just met. After a long evening and late night of running, she finally arrives back at her village. Running to her grandma's shack, who is currently stressing out over losing her granddaughter. She bolts into the room and her grandmothers face lights up, "Your back! Where have you been??", the little girl starts to explain everything that happened. "You went to the shore?? But that monster lives near there! You could have been killed!", the little girl looks up and contests, "No! He is really nice! He found out why there is no water in the river!", and she continued to explain it all to her. When she was finished, her grandmother ran out, towards the village leader, letting him know to clear the banks of the river so nobody is hurt. As they do this, all of the villagers come out and stand together excitedly, waiting for the water to come back.

But as the hours dragged on and on, there was no sign of water. The villagers began to get irritated, "She lied! She cried wolf, and just when I regained faith.", the other villagers agreed, berating the little girl for giving them false hope. But she refused to be sileneced, "The water is coming back! Just wait!", the villagers continued to heckle, "Sure it is, maybe when pigs fly!", and just as those words leave his lips, the sound of rushing water grows louder and louder down the horizon. As the sun starts the early stages of setting, a large stream of water starts to shoot down the riverbed, filling it up, splashing anyone and everyone near it. "The water is back! She was telling the truth!", "Praise our lord!", "How did this happen?", as that question is asked, the little girl speaks, "Mr. Faris did it!", they all look at her curious, "Who?", she nods, "He lives down by the shore.", they all gasp, "Isn't that where that monster lives?", "Did he try to hurt
you?", she shakes her head, "No! He said he would bring the river back, and he did!", the villagers seem skeptical. "Look! Over the horizon!", at the horizon, right under the sun, a black silhouette of a tall man with a giant rock above his head moves closer and closer to the village.
"Wow! That's amazing!", the villagers look in awe of his strength. As he gets into the village, he drops the boulder on the side of the dirt road. "Let this be a reminder of the days you all struggled. And let this mark the first day your village strives!", they all cheer with him, as he turns and begins to leave, Koko runs up to him and hugs his leg, he smiles and pats her on the head, "You're going to be a great leader some day. Keep helping everyone you can. And live in peace.",the grandmother and village leader run to him and ask, "Is there anything we can do for you, to repay you for this great deed?", Faris laughs under his breath, "No need, it's my pleasure to help. You need everything you can get, those fish are going to start moving down stream soon, so you won't need to worry about food or water anymore.", Over the horizon, the parents of the little girl and their party come trailing down in a long line of supplies. "Mama!", the little girl shouts, Faris turns to the sun and says one last thing, "Just promise to pay it forward, live and love. Come to my shore if you ever need anything else.", as he leaves, the villagers all cry out, "Thank you, stranger!", Faris continues to walk, smiling big, knowing that they will all live comfortably from here on.

That day the legend of the shore monster came to a new chapter. The legend of Faris Basil has just begun.
