The Guardian of the Night

Yuurei was still in this area, and even after the dungeon was done with, he couldn’t help but stay here a little bit longer. He knew that there was much too do here and he could only think that he would be able to help people here. He was on another one of his job hunts, and that was because he was trying to build his currency again as he had bought a strange carpet. It was interesting indeed as it was magical, and had the abilities to fly. He had accepted a job that was for the tribesmen that lived here, but he figured he would do them this favor, and take on the hassle alone.

He was moving around the area as he was waiting for something to happen. He was the man on the job, and it was suppose to last all night. He didn’t like the fact that he couldn’t sleep, but there was nothing for him to complain about. He was able to move around without any complaint, and that was when he saw something coming his way. He noticed that there were really intruders trying to come into these people’s village. ”You are putting yourself in danger coming to this village my friend,” he said as he shot an arrow at the man that was approaching towards him.

The man was hit with the arrow, and hit the ground as he started rolling on the floor from falling while he was running. He just looked at the man, and shook his head waiting for others to arrive at his location.

He had done okay for now, and he was waiting for more intruders to come right now. He couldn’t help but stay in this place, but he noticed something weird. There was something moving from a very far distance, and he could see that it was a group of three people. He wasn’t close to them, and he figured that he would be able to get to them on time, but he wanted to get to them before they got near the village. Yuurei was quick to get on his carpet as he removed it from his back, and jumped onto it. He didn’t waste any time as it zoomed into the air, and towards the group.

They had stopped moving when they saw what had approached them, and were quite confused at the situation. They were stunned by Yuurei’s arrival, and stun more on the thing he was on. They were shaking in their boots, and he could only smile at them. He took his bow, and aimed one of his arrow at one of them. He was quick to shoot it, and it hit the man right on the chest. He looked at the other two as they started panicking, and started running to him. He saw that one was quick to jump to him, and he simply had the carpet move higher up in the air, and dodging the attack.

He didn’t stop there as he took one of his arrows and shot it at the man who was coming towards him. Yuurei allowed the other guy who attacked him to keep on moving for now. The carpet moved in a way so Yuurei could see the guy who was still on his feet.

Yuurei was looking at the man, and it seemed like he was confident in himself right now. He just stood there as he was hovering on his carpet, and was waiting for something to happen. He noticed that the man was smiling, but he didn’t understand why. He had sensed something from behind him, but wasn’t sure what it was. He had turned a bit, and noticed that there was somebody in the air, and coming straight to him. He was close enough to him, that he couldn’t dodge, so he had to move his hand in the way.

The knife cut him, and he gritted his teeth as he didn’t like the pain he had felt. He was quick to backhand the man that was on his carpet as he was pushed off the carpet. ”You will pay for that,” he took another one of his arrow, and shot it towards the man. The man wasn’t able to dodge the attack because well he was falling down to the floor. He was hit by the arrow, and was render unconscious as he hit the ground. There was one more left, and Yuurei turned to look at the man as he was really nervous this time.

He had taken all of his friends out, and he was the only one left. He started to run away, and towards the village. Yuurei sighed at this, as he shot another arrow. It hit the man on his back as he fell flat on the ground, and didn’t move. He smiled as he had done a great job, and started guarding the area on his carpet. He stood doing this till morning had arrived, and he was quick to get the cash he had worked for, and letting the people take care of the body of the intruders.
