Today was going to be a pretty boring day, so Zax, upon waking up, braced himself. Finding himself having wandered around bored for like 4 hours, he was unable to keep himself busy. As such, the boy decided it was in his best interest to go and take a peek at the job board in Balbadd.
30 minutes later, Zax had to head to the docks. He had found a job that was posted by someone who was too lazy to do their job. But, hey, Zax was feeling a little bit bored, so it wasn't like it was an inconvenience. He got paid for it too, so that was nice enough as well.
Zax would head into the docks to meet the old lazy sailor. The two had engaged in a little small talk, which Zax was pretty bad at, and not before long the sailor just got to the point. Mop the deck, carry barrels, tighten ropes, organize storage. Easy enough, so Zax would get right to it. He figured out an order in his head, too.
Zax wasn't the strongest, but he was still an (almost) adult male, so he quickly tightened the ropes of the ship. He felt himself panting a little, but figured that he could very well take his time to entertain himself for the maximum amount of time... without lazing off, of course.
The next thing Zax would do would be to organize the storage. Now, the storage was mainly crates, and was a moderately large room. That being said, Zax found that it wasn't the best in terms of how it was organized for convienence, and thus took it upon himself to push all of the cargo against the walls, leaving lots of room in the middle. Any cargo that didn't have room on the wall would be put in a lane in the middle. Zax thought it was a pretty cool setup, honestly, and that he did pretty good with that one particular part of this job.
Next up, Zax would grab the few barrels there were and load them into the storage, putting them into the middle row that he made there. That being said, he swore to god this was going to break his back - those barrels were quite heavy after all. But nonetheless, he ended up doing it without too much of a problem, so he supposed everything had worked pout in the end with that part of the job. now one thing left, and he was pretty much done for the day.
Zax grabbed the ship's mop, and began to scrub the floors. You see, the reason Zax did this very last was due to fearing he would slip on the wet deck. It took Zax a good 20 minutes to do this, wanting to do a good job, but taking his time all the meanwhile.
Finally, Zax met up with the sailor, who thanked him for his service, and would send him on his way out of the dock, Zax's boredom quench and wallet bigger.
