Name: Asera Al-Mahzuz
Country Affiliation: Wanderer
Race: Fanalis
Tier: D-Tier.
Class: Warrior
Age + Birthdate: 12 years old. He was born sometime in the summer. August 19th is used as his birthday, but his official birth date is unknown
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Personality:
Asera is a confident young boy. He tends to be mischievous around his friends and family and is often doing things that would get him into trouble such as stealing food from his family’s store, taunting the animals, ect. The only reason he does this is because he loves the rush of almost getting caught doing things he shouldn’t be doing. On the other hand, if his family has settled in a country he will immediately quiet down, become quite serious and would refuse to speak to give the impression that he is a slave boy, raised like an animal or just an introvert. Despite this Asera loves having all the attention on him and will go do almost anything to draw attention onto himself whether it be good or bad. If he is away from his family for too long, or stays too long in one place, Asera will get homesick and even depressed. In this case he can seem to be arrogant or just lazy when in reality he just has so much on his mind that he can’t do or think of anything else. He does however have quite the sense of humor and can be very energetic even when times bring him down.

Aspirations:
Ever since he was young, Asera grew up knowing that his kind was driven into slavery and since a very young age he developed a desire to free them. As he grew older he became aware that this was a dream that he couldn’t fulfill alone and made a promise to his “sister” that he would help her capture a dungeon and make her queen. He later found out about King Lagi and how he rid Reim of the slavery system and started to idolize him. After his sister went to Magnostadt, he decided that he wanted to go to Reim and join the Fanalis Corps so that one day he could be strong enough to meet his idol.
Phobias/fears:
Face-Claim: OC
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Dark Pink
Height: 140cm
Weight: 40kg
Appearance:
Asera is a young Fanalis boy with tanned skin and the typical Fanalis red hair. His hair is shorter on the left to show off a piercing in his left ear. He wears silver bangles around his neck, wrists and ankles with chains trailing from each wrist to the neck and more chains neatly wrapped around his legs. He wears white pants which are tattered at the edges, but he tucks them in his bangles so they don’t show. He has a brown belt around his waist to keep his pants up, but is otherwise barechested and barefooted. Asera is a smart boy and whilst he sometimes acts like he is a slave boy, he fails to give the full impression because in comparison to an actual slave, he can come out at pampered. However to the untrained eye this would go unnoticed.
Rukh Alignment: White Rukh
Special Features: Asera claims to be able to understand and speak to animals, but it's all just in his head. He doesn't actually have any special features.
History:
Asera’s parents were enslaved while his mother was pregnant with him. As a result, she gave birth to him while she was a slave without the presence of his father and therefore his father has no idea that he has a son. Soon after he was born, Asera - at the time still unnamed - was taken away from his mother, who was still weak from giving birth, and was taken to a slave merchant who was travelling to Balbadd to sell children as slaves. During the journey, the merchant had to cross a part of the desert, where he met with a travelling circus who, unbeknownst to him, were dead set against slavery. The master of the circus negotiated with the merchant to buy some of his slaves. After a lot of bickering, the merchant sold the man a very frail Fanalis baby telling him that the boy probably wouldn’t survive the journey anyway and he might as well get his money’s worth. The circus master named the boy Asera Al-Mahzuz because he was lucky to have been freed from slavery before getting to experience it. Growing up as part of the travelling circus, Asera got to see different sights and different places. He traveled far and wide to places such as Reim, Heliohapt and Kina and by the time he was 8 years old he joined the circus’s main act by acting as though he was a slave boy raised alongside the animals. During one of their journeys, the circus travelled all the way to the plains where one of his “sisters”, who was a mage was to be dropped off so she could study in Magnostadt. Asera felt it was very difficult to say farewell to his sister so he decided that on the next journey to Reim he would ask the Circus Master if he could be allowed to train there so he could become stronger when his sister returns to the circus.
Role-Play Sample:
I didn’t want my family to grow like this. I knew that my boy was coming sooner or later, but had I known that we would first be enslaved in a rotting humid dungeon while my husband was taken god-knows-where doing god-knows-what, I would’ve given starting a family a second thought. I went into labour while inside the cellars in the basement of one of the King’s properties in Quishan. With nothing but the hard cold floor and my fellow slave girls, I wouldn’t say the conditions for childbirth were the most ideal, but at the time all I could think of was delivering this baby to the best of my abilities. Luckily one of the women there was her village’s doctor before being brought to this terrible place. If it weren’t for her, my baby probably wouldn’t have been born so safely. As I laid my eyes upon him, I knew in my heart that he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, but it only lasted a moment. We girls were meant to be sold for prostitution and the king couldn’t have a baby around one of his whores. My boy was snatched away from me before I could even breastfeed him. He wasn’t going to survive out there, even if he was from one of the strongest Fanalis tribes there is. I begged and pleaded for them to return him, but to no effort. My boy was gone, probably taken somewhere to be sold as a slave. The only thing I could do now was wish him luck.

Likes:
- Animals: Asera was raised as part of a travelling circus and often hung around them while they were travelling around. He also has a passion for larger animals including the ones used in the colosseum.
- Chains and Bangles: They remind him that somewhere out there he had a family, and they could possibly still be alive, albeit enslaved somewhere.
Dislikes:
- Royals and Nobles: Asera is well aware that Royals and Nobles are the reason his family and his kind were driven into slavery and tends to judge them for it, even if they are against slavery as well. This does not apply to King Lagi.
- Being in the same place for too long: Asera has travelled for a vast majority of his life and therefore isn’t used to being in the same place for too long. Staying in the same country for more than a few months at most can feel confining to him.

Phobias/fears:
- Fear of staying put. Asera gets very uncomfortable staying in one place for too long, but rather than having it affect his daily life he would constantly start to think about where to go next. Since he has seen so much of the world he would constantly feel like he want’s to see more of it and the less he travels the less his mind focuses on what is currently going on. He can overcome it by going out to explore the country that he has currently been in for a while, but there is a limit to how much he can explore one country and can easily start wanting to go out and see the world again.
