Having dispatched the bird brained foes, Yakuroro relaxed a bit and settled into a state of self content. The distraction of the short but victorious conflict had done the Imuchakk's mind good. It drew his thoughts away from those haunting memories and the pain no longer bothered him as a result. However, it was clear from rumbling skies that had pestered them all throughout the dungeon that remaining here to celebrate their win was not the wisest of plans. "Shame we don't have the time to stop and taste them. They probably seem like chicken to the tongue." Yakuroro said in response to Noir's comment while he strolled past the dead harpy to peer past the mists at the path ahead.

Seemingly stable but also treacherous as far as Yakuroro could tell. He was willing to brave the gnarled path of vines, but would have preferred not to. It was then that his companion made her suggestion. Nodding in agreeance, Yakuroro tugged the knot of his own flying carpet loose. "Yes, that would likely be safer..." The green magic tool unfurled from around Yakuroro's waist and he jumped onto the floating platform it became. Yakuroro would follow the path with the carpet, keeping himself only a couple inches off the "ground" of the path as he followed Noir.

The magic carpets provided even Haku with a safe way to the next chunk of the path, an area scarred from repeated lightning strikes, but clear of clouds for the time being. The pathway widened out, showing an unusual sight. At the edge of the platform, two massive floating stones could be seen, hovering from electromagnetic pressure.  Both stones had the symbol matching the stone Yaku had received in the previous room, a lightning bolt etched across its surface. However, one was purple and led slightly downward while the other was without color and seemed to lead directly ahead.

The breaks in the clouds would show that the stones led to other hovering pieces of the path, but the far side would be obscured. Which path was correct would not be so easily decided, but the group would need to decide on one of the two paths or simply fly around in hopes of finding a direction to go, as the edge of the path seemed to be the end for the moment, aside from the hovering stones.

The moment Noir noticed that the pathway widened out, she knew she could land at that time but decided to scan the area first before stepping down just to make sure. She noticed two massive floating stone and could tell that it was hovering because of electromagnetic pressure in the area. It might look like a normal stone at first but after further observing, Noir assumed the stones would be something that help them to decide where to go and nodded to herself when she could finally see that the stones were leading to other hovering pieces that looked like a path to somewhere. She recognized the symbol on the two stones and made her look at Yakuroro while carefully climbed down from the flying carpet along with Haku. The female magician would then begin to speak, “Let’s see the stone that you took from that windmill… I am sure it would give us some clue since the stone over there has matching symbol with the stone you are holding...” If the Imuchakk was willing to show it and examine it further, Noir would gladly take a look at it to help seeing what kind of clue that she could notice as she remembered that it was glowing a purple color when she saw it before. After that, she would wait for any decision that Yakuroro wanted to make.

As Yakuroro flew through the dungeon alongside Noir and Haku he observed how weather worn the area they were in had been. It was not the typical erosion of nature, but rather a charred sign of the violent behavior displayed by the unnatural storms in this place. "Mmm...it would be best not to linger here..." Yakuroro said aloud musing to himself. That went without saying, but he felt compelled to comment on the fact that a storm of arcing electricity could befall them at any time. Thankfully they had not been forced to face the powerful bolts that had likely scorched the ground beneath the flying group of would-be-dungeon conqueror's. The shocks Yakuroro had experienced were much more tame than he would have imagined. And thankfully so, the disorientation was bad enough. Turning into bunt Imuchakk jerky was not on the magician's list of desires for today.

Eventually a pair of stones presented Yakuroro and Noir with a choice. Seeing them immediately brought the stone from before to mind and Yaku removed it from his robe to gaze upon the familiar marking. This smaller stone shared the same purple hue as one of the paths that lay before them. "This could be a clue or a hint, or it could be a coincidence...but I think the shared color of these markings has meaning." Yakuroro said as he presented the smaller stone to Noir like she asked. When the girl left the choice up to Yakuroro he smirked and narrowed his eyes while turning to look towards the downward path. "It's as if that will take us down into the core of the dungeon itself, isn't it? How far down do you think we've already come?"

Staying mounted on his flying carpet, but hovering only inches off the ground, Yakuroro pointed towards the purple path that led downwards and declared his choice. "We shall descend." The two would then make their way forward on the chosen path.

As the adventurers followed the purple path, the clouds seemed to cloister closer to them, reminding them of the danger of lightning strikes. The hovering stones were more than stable enough to handle weight, as Noir and Haku had decided to land their carpet, while their companion remained on his carpet. The stones did not descend very far, but it did allow them to dip under the cloud cover just in time to see that the path led to a stone wall with no seeming continuation to the path. The pair could choose to either turn back and try the other path or follow the rocks in hopes of finding their own path.

Seeing the hovering stones made Noir think twice about getting off from her flying carpet as she was concerned about her liger’s safety. So without wasting more time to decide on what to do, the black haired girl used her carpet again and made sure that Haku was on top of it in a safe position. “There, such a good boy…” Noir would pet Haku after she climbed up to the carpet right next to him and would continue seeing where the path would lead them to. She was worried about the cloud though as it could strike them anytime as it getting closer to them, obviously being struck by the lightning would be the last thing that she wanted to happen since it would just make things more complicated and dangerous. The moment she saw no continuation of the path that Yakuroro chose, Noir would look at him again to ask where he wanted to go. ”Hey, do you want to go back to try the other path? Personally, I am curious about that stone wall just in case it has a secret… but that cloud looks ready to shower us with lightning strikes…”

When the path they had taken met with a seemingly dead end, the Imuchakk frowned and turned his head to look back the way they had come. The lightning clouds edged ever closer and refused to stop their persistent approach. Yakuroro stared all the while as his partner spoke. When Noir's suggestion was finished, Yaku grunted and nodded his head towards the clouds as a gesture for her to look at how they were getting closer. "Going back means going upwards...I'd rather not get close to those clouds again..." The magician was speaking with a tone that showed his past experiences with the clouds had not yet faded from his mind. He was glad to hear that Noir too was weary of chancing the threat of lightning raining down upon them.

"I don't know about a secret...but if there isn't a hidden path, we can always just make one."

Yakuroro would float towards the wall on his carpet and begin to probe it with gentle presses of his hand seeking out any sort of mechanism or illusory portion that could reveal a continuation of the path. If no such hidden way forward was found, he would try to punch the stone wall using his Imuchakk might. Carefull of any falling rocks or debris caused by his show of force, Yakuroro sought to test just how tough the stone wall was.

Should inspection for a hidden path and attempts at making one with force both fail, Yakuroro would suggest they follow the wall towards the side where the other path had seemed to lead in hopes that they may find another way forward or at least come across the other path.

Yakuroro’s attempt to smash through the side of the cliff left an impressive impression but had not struck through to any type of passage, it was simply a dead end. Rocks rained down in a small shower, relatively harmless, as a result of the pounding to the stones. When the adventurers decided to pursue a search to try and find where the other path led, they would find nothing in a linear direction from where they were currently located. Wherever the other path led, it was not in a horizontal direction from their present position.

“Oh?” She smirked when the blue haired giant wanted to create a path, knowing that he might be using his natural body strength to destroy the wall to see if he could actually make a path. Noir was already amused by the fact that the Imuchakk didn’t want to get close to the clouds again based from his tone, knowing that it was because of her. She had a slight thought about scaring him again so he would do something that might be even sillier than going straight to the cloud but the moment was not right. They need to rush so they could make it into the chamber so Noir could show her current dark self to that brave and naïve Imuchakk. Solomon might be surprised to see her like this and she could always try to do something that could trigger Noir to be drowned more into her own darkness.

Yakuroro’s punch was impressive and the black haired girl was sure that that punch could even easily shatter someone’s bon into pieces. However, that so impressive punch didn’t work to the stone wall as it was harmless. She whined and floated until she was beside the Imuchakk before mocking him for doing something that was wasting their time. “Hey strong boy…Looks like your super amazing strong punch couldn’t even break a wall, eh?” She would giggle but Yakuroro would hear a dark chuckle right after that and she would gaze at him with a underestimating look as if he was incapable to do things right. But perhaps he would be a good partner to play with the other Imuchakk that might be in the other area at the moment. Maybe she could begin to ask about Yakuroro’s humiliating first encounter with Solomon after the giant had made his decision on where to go and what to do since she would follow his decision for now. “By the way… Remember about that Imuchakk guy who was smart enough to not being fooled by your lies?”

Floating back from the cliff face, Yakuroro watched unsurprised as little came of his efforts to "make" a path through the stone wall using force. The possibility of a fake wall seemed reasonable due to how the path they followed had abruptly stopped in front of a stone wall. However, the magician was simply being diligent in checking, he felt no sorrow or frustration as a result of the failure to find a secret pathway. By the time Noir had hovered to his side in order to spew a mocking comment, the Imuchakk was already starting to lead his carpet's flight into the horizontal search.

"Hmph, I didn't see you making efforts to find a secret passage. I don't know what's made your tongue so bold, but I suggest you stop wielding it's sharpness against me...you'll dull the edge."

A smirk played across Yakuroro's lips briefly as he watched the stone surface looking for any sudden changes that stood out. It was a relief to finally have a retort to the girl. She'd been toying with him too keenly as of late and it was high time the Imuchakk regained enough composure to lash back verbally when she overstepped her bounds. He had thought that his response his silenced Noir, but she was simply pausing before asking a question about the Imuchakk that had ignored Yakuroro's warnings of poison. The subject brought up a cold and sharp gaze to Yakuroro's expression as he stopped his carpet and turned to glare at Noir. "Lies I had spun only because you were running late..." Yaku held the glare for but a moment before turning his head away and going back to his search.

"Yes, I remember the fool. You call him smart but he was simply overly confident in himself. Had there actually been poison, he might have been able to hold his breath long enough to escape it being of Imuchakk blood. But his human companion would have likely died. The arrogance in believing fate of all things is on your side...I know it well."

The magician ended his sentence on a grim tone, his face becoming a foul expression of disgust and pity. Eyes squinted, lips coiled to a frown and brows furrowed all in sharp repulsion to the thoughts of his past self. Yakuroro would remain silent after that, allowing Noir to respond if she wished.

“Oh, come on… you know about what made my tongue this sharp…” said Noir as she controlled her flying carpet to follow Yakuroro’s trail. With a soft chuckle, the black haired girl closed her eyes before staring at the blue haired giant. There was darkness resided inside her blood colored eyes and her tone was becoming much darker than before, “You reap what you sow…” Even though the much darker side of the female magician was only being shown for a few seconds, the Imuchakk would surely noticed it because it was pretty obvious. She would then giggle as she found Yakuroro was glaring to her, indicating that she ‘hit’ the right spot and made him lost his cool again.

Noir would try to fly beside the Imuchakk only to hear him saying things about Solomon, which made the girl curled her lips into a mischievous smile. “Perhaps he doesn’t really care about his human companion because he is so confident in himself that make him forget about what kind of danger that his human companion would be getting…” She would pause for a second and moved her hand to reach Yakuroro before caressing his cheek with her cold pale fingers. “However that was not the case isn’t it? You knew it well because you were the same as him before… yet believing in fate didn’t give you anything… it abandoned you in the end…that was why you despised Solomon.”

The girl would bring her hands to her cheeks, cupping both of her cheeks while giving a dark chuckle with rosy cheeks. “But don’t you think it was because you still believe and are relying on the fate itself to the point you hated it so much…? Because fate is playful…and cruel…but you keep holding on into it, even now….”

Her words were intended to mock the man but there was something more into it, she wanted to try to break him. If she managed to do that, perhaps he would grant her with something that would satisfy her. Pushing him to the edge and increased his hate towards Solomon… so perhaps he would try and kill him then she could take an absolute control of her body.

The insinuation that this behavior of her was HIS fault drew a scoff from the Imuchakk but little else. If she was referring to the lecture he had given her, that was hard to accept as the only cause for such a wildly significant shift in personalities. Even if it was a direct trigger, the root of Noir's instability had to lay elsewhere. Were they not in a dungeon, Yakuroro would have pried that information out of the girl one way or another. Alas, now was not the time to engage in investigatory...coercion. Yakuroro tried to ignore the detail as he continued on to speak about Solomon. It was a statement the magician felt needed no retort, but of course the girl just had to open her mouth and spew teasing words at him like some kind of self replenishing reservoir of detestable wit. Oh what Yakuroro wouldn't give for a muzzle and a leash for this creature of a girl.

The comment she made regarding Solomon provoked no response from Yakuroro, but the words had been heard and registered regardless. It was when Noir touched the Imuchakk's face, however, that Yakuroro took action, reaching up to grasp her wrist as he stared into Noir's gaze with an icy pair of eyes that were akin the knives that would stab into her soul to carve out a path to her true feelings. There was the weight of a King behind that gaze as Yakuroro exuded his regal aura changing the way the man held himself. Yakuroro listened silently even as Noir cupped his face and made bold claims about fate that she couldn't possible know for sure. The hypocrisy of his own thoughts were lost on Yakuroro.

There was nothing other than the glare from Yakuroro until Noir finished speaking. But that instant was punctuated by the Imuchakk's large hand immediately snapping through the air to grab Noir's wrist. "What do you know about me? What do you know about that man? Solomon, was it?...Come to think of it, he mentioned you by name at the gate. How he would "protect" you." There was no ill intent in Yakuroro's action when he had grabbed Noir, but now that he had her, a sadistic thought came to mind. In one movement, Yakuroro simultaneously tugged Noir off her own carpet by the wrist in order to dangle her over the edge of his own carpet while his other hand drew his greatsword to steady its edge in front of Haku as a threat for the beast not to interfere.

"If I drop you now, will he come to save you!? Will fate!? NO! Those are the thoughts of someone who relies on fate!"

The king vessel steeped in black roared and bellowed, his fury raining down on Noir alongside the heat of his breath and the depth of his voice. Yakuroro would hold her there for a moment, black rukh fluttering around him gleefully at the man's indulgence towards his base emotions. Rage flowed in his rukh making it a welcoming home for the tiny black butterflies of magoi.

"I do not rely on FATE to save me."

With another tug, Yakuroro pulled Noir up tossing her towards her own carpet with a devil's grin upon his face. "I make my own path." The Imuchakk then stood from his seated position and held his left hand up to the sky. Magoi poured into the ring that server as his metal vessel as Yakuroro chanted, "O' Djinn of Mischief and Deceit! Let my will bend reality and grant me the power to fool even the wise! Dwell in my body and let your power be unleashed!" There was an eruption of light around his body that solidified and took shape around him. The light faded as quickly as it had formed and peeled away like a shell revealing the imposing figure of Yakuroro's Djinn Equip.

An otherworldly exhale escaped Yakuroro's mouth causing the shadowy flames that flickered where his head should have been to waver. Without looking at the cliff, Yakuroro lifted his blade and muttered, "Marx Divide." The weapon was engulfed in light that grew to a 25m long shining avatar of itself. Making a grunt of effort, Yakuroro then attempted to cleave through the entire cliff face that had been blocking their path with a diagonal slash.

Yakuroro’s attempts to cleave through the mountain in an effort to find another entrance proved to have interesting results. While it would not lead to the path that would take them to the next room, it would reveal a nest of Harpy, two Mature Harpy guarding and protecting three defenseless, infant Harpy. As the rocks came crashing down, the rubble would pelt at the King Candidate and his partner, harmless for the most part, but an annoyance, nonetheless. The dust would take a moment to settle before the adventurers would be able to see the two Mature Harpy, each taking a defensive stance in front of their apparent offspring, beady eyes trained on whoever had exposed their nest to the lightning and daylight. The mates had no desire to fight with their infants so close but would do so if they were approached in any way.

The chasm opened by Yakuroro had managed to strike in a way that revealed the nest, which was approximately 20 meters away from the adventurers. The mated Harpy pair stood with their wings spread, a mere two meters in front of their offspring, and close enough to each other that the tips of their wings were brushing against each other.

The moment Yakuroro snapped at Noir because of her words, the black haired girl only looked back at the man quietly with her crimson eyes. His gaze was cold and sharp, stabbed right into the black haired girl’s soul as if it was trying to pry something out. However the female magician didn’t feel anything, she wasn’t surprised… no fear at all, except a satisfaction, knowing that her words drove him into this point. Suddenly she could feel her chest being in pain but it was bearable and she knew the cause of it, it was no other then the feeling of Noir who was residing inside. She was in pain, frustrated and helpless when her dark side was using her freedom and ruined everything for her. Dark Noir was satisfied with it due to the fact that she would really gain absolute control of the body by trapping Noir inside her own body, locking her up with a chain of guilt and frustration.

Even when Yakuroro attempted to throw her into abyss, she would calmly call Haku’s name as she ordered him to stay still. The beast was growling at first, didn’t like it when the Imuchakk was hurting his master but he would calm himself down right after being commanded to stay still. Noir was tempted to answer him regarding fate, that she was not relying on it but she knew that she could control it just like what she always did all the time for herself and her trapped side. It was pathetic to see how this man hated fate while he was being controlled by fate itself, he might deny it, but he looked like it and she almost put her sympathy towards him although it was merely a sarcastic thought inside her mind.

Black rukh were gathering around the Imuchakk as if they thought Yakuroro was their king and they were praising him. “Perfect…” She murmured while being mesmerized by the black butterflies that she consider as a beautiful creatures just before she was being tossed into her own carpet. Yakuroro would surely do something to release his anger and she was right, he was using his djinn equip and was attempting to crush the mountain only to see that his attempt failed. Haku would protect her from rocks until the dust was cleared before Noir could notice some harpies that appeared to be a family at their nest. “…don’t face them, it will be a waste of time…” She said her suggestion even though she knew that he might not want to hear her voice at the moment while he was angered like that. But she wanted to be careful about this and if possible she wanted to get away from any trouble until they can reach next area. Noir would suggest to turn back and then she would move away from the harpies alongside with Haku around 30 meters away, hoping Yakuroro would follow her suggestion. However it would be all depend on her partner’s decision…

Noir's council to leave the Harpy family be was wise, but it was spoken to one whom was consumed by a burning drive to validate himself. Yakuroro saw the infant's the mature avians so desperately moved to protect and let out a phantasmal cackle from his otherworldly face of shadow. The six floating vertical eyes narrowed in a keen gaze as Yaku laughed. "Face them? There will be no need to fight them Noir. These love birds are going to be our willing and compliant guides to the chamber~" His speech was soft so only Noir could hear, but a sadistic glee sounded in the warped voice of the transformed Imuchakk that made it sound as if he had become the very demon his tribe had once branded him as so many years ago. If only those fools could see now how right they were, surely it would terrify each to the core to know that this was their fault.

The spells Marx Replication and Marx Vanish were cast in quick succession following the King Vessel's amusement. First was the spell to create copies of himself. These clones formed in front of him creating a vision barrier of sorts while Yakuroro himself was wrapped in a veil of invisibility. Another clone formed in his place so it would appear to be the "real" one. When this was done, the clones would spread out revealing their fake leader whom used a dramatic hand gesture to signal that they should hold position.

"Now then, we will leave you be if you answer us but one question. There was a purple stone and a purple marked path we encountered on our way here. What was the path made for? Apologies for breaking your home like this, but we had hoped to find a secret passage..."

The clone leader posing as the real Yakuroro spoke, meanwhile, Yakuroro himself allowed his clones to play the part of a distraction while he flew around to the side of the cliff that remained intact. Here, he would be out of the line of fire should the Harpy begin attacking rather than listen to the clone's words. Should a few seconds pass with no attacks flying towards the clones, Yakuroro would float through the air in his invisible state entering the exposed nest. The djinn user would attempt to fly over the mature Harpy to reach their younglings behind. If successful in doing so, Yakuroro would try to pluck one of the babies up into a one handed grasp, careful not to harm the infant. His sword would immediately move to the infant Harpy's throat however triggering his illusions and invisibility to stop.

"Attack me and my sword falls before I die. If you want your child to live, lead us to the master of this dungeon~"

The sudden appearance of clones startled the two adults as their eyes darted between the clones suspiciously.  When one spoke, their attention returned to it, the question making both cock their heads to the side. The question was simple enough, even for the limited information the pair had.

“Purple is punishment for failure. You took the wrong path.”

The answer was straight forward, but the Imuchakk’s response of appearing behind them with a blade at the throat of one of their offspring made the mother give a squawk of outrage as the parents spun around. Had the man maintained his semblance of peace, the pair would have been happy to explain which path was correct, but threatening the life of their offspring was unacceptable. The man had learned absolutely nothing from the previous room and had immediately jumped to threats of violence and insolence. He had also not seemed to grasp that the pair legitimately had no way to lead him anywhere close to the mistress of the dungeon, they had only knowledge of their own room and even that, they were restricted to a select area.

The man’s rash actions had forced the pair to face the fact that they had no way to meet his demand and, so, had no option but to risk the loss of one child in the hopes to protect the other two. With only a glance to each other, both Harpy immediately released a Shocking Wave, knowing the lightning would not affect each other or their infants, the twin expansion of both waves were aimed directly for Yakuroro. This would leave his companion safe, as he had moved and forced them to turn away from her, but they did not see her as a threat after she had attempted to leave them in peace.

The harpy should have been more calm. Instead, then panicked and turned around. Yakuroro would slash his greatsword across their throats, the weapon and his arm reach combined being plenty to cover the 2m gap between them. This action was immediately performed right when the two glanced at each other. The infant's life would be forfeit as well, it's small frame being crushed Yakuroro's grip. The harpy would have been fine if they had immediately surrendered, but it was clear from their movements that they were employing the same desperation driven foolishness that was controlling Yakuroro.

If the harpy died, Yakuroro would follow Noir.

“…and I said to go to another path because I want to avoid this useless battle!” Noir was angered by the reckless act of the Imuchakk. Not only he decided to be offensive, he took one of the infant as his hostage as well. The black haired girl clicked her tongue and knew that this wouldn’t end well because apparently his stubbornness was incurable so she needed to somehow end the fight. While Yakuroro attacked them by using his greatsword and even killed the infant with his inhuman grip, Noir who was on the carpet began to float until she reached 12.5 meters away from the harpies. They were busy and were focusing on Yakuroro so they might not notice that she came there only to immediately use her Nature’s Scepter. It created a series of vines that wrapped around both Noir and Haku who was on the flying carpet and it would explode outward, dealing damage if it hits the harpies directly. If her attack succeeded, she would make Haku drag the Imuchakk with them and they would quickly head to the another path as fast as they could to see if it was the right path. If not, then she would be ready to attack the harpies again.

Yakuroro and Noir’s quick actions destroyed the entire nest before any of them could react, leaving a slaughtered family of innocent avian creatures in a mess of blood and bone on the ground. The adventurers offered no condolences for the body before retreating and finding the correct path, this one opening up to show an entrance to a cave. The tunnel was only about 5 meters long, though winding around, before opening up into a room ten meters across. At the exit was a single Mature Harpy, intently watching the entrance to its room and ready to react the moment any would enter.

If Yaku and Noir entered the room with the Mature Harpy, it would immediately unleash Shocking Wave as a first attempt to stop the intruders.

Once they were just in front of the cave, Noir who was still on the flying carpet with Haku stayed quiet and stared at the blue haired man with a sharp glare as if it would stab him the moment he stare back. But it was silence that ever left her lips for several seconds before she controlled her carpet to start entering the cave only to stop if Yakuroro still didn’t move from his spot. “Come, Yakuroro. We still have a long way to go…” If the Imuchakk began to follow her, then she would slowly control her flying carpet while they were going through the tunnel. A chance that some enemies might show up after they exited the tunnel might be high; they could even show up out of nowhere…

It was very fortunate that no enemy suddenly showed up when they were going through the tunnel and because of that, Noir could cool herself off from the anger that she felt before that was caused by the Imuchakk’s reckless act. The moment they found a room, Noir and Haku would climb down from the carpet and the girl would stare at the room before looking towards Yakuroro. “Would you take the honor to enter the room together with me~?” said the girl with mischievous grin carved on her face. She would then enter the room with Yakuroro while Haku waited behind to guard them for a bit just in case something harmful appeared there. It was surprising that something attempted to attack them the moment they entered the room but Noir would let the Imuchakk to take care of it and handle the defense.

If the Imuchakk succeeded in defending them from the electricity wave, the black haired girl would quickly activate her djinn equip by letting out a chant, “O’ Djinn of Drought and Dehydration, heed my will. Bestow upon me your unyielding power to vaporize the resolution of my enemies. Desiccate, Dantalion!” Her body would be engulfed in vapor before it cleared and showed the entirely different appearance of the female magician.

With a grin, the feline-like girl would charge towards the harpy and swung her scythe the moment she was close enough to attack the winged creature.

The fly back along the path was full of a silence thick with anger and resentment. Yakuroro's expression was masked by the enigmatic shadow flames of Marax, but a cowl of depravity and range had taken hold on his face. There was almost a strange glee in his eyes as he quietly crumbled his sanity away. A voice somewhere in the deep vast darkness of the black rukh whispered to him, encouraging his hatred towards the great flow men call fate. By the time they reached the cave, Yakuroro's entourage of black rukh steadily grew. His dark thoughts drew them and and became all the darker due to their influence.

The animosity of Haku and the attitude of Noir were lost on the king vessel as his vision narrowed ahead looking for any sign of fate's cruel actors so they could be smashed under the weight of his existence. The king vessel used a Potion of Rejuvenation and crooked hubris filled Yakuroro as some of his magoi returned. He entered the tunnel at Noir's side and soon the earthen path opened up into a room. Another one of the pathetic bird scum stood barring their path. The creature took no delay in unleashing an attack their way, but it would not be enough to challenge the might of Yakuroro's djinn equip. The wave of lightning that exploded forth would be met by a slash of Marax's greatsword. When the two attacks negated each other, Yakuroro found himself standing next to Noir in her djinn equip form.

Seeing her wearing the power of her djinn reminded Yakuroro of the time he had spended investing into this girl. He should be glad that his toy was finally starting to work the way it was supposed to. Yakuroro began his assault at the same time as Noir. The two king vessels would be led by a phantasmal vangaurd as Yakuroro used Marx Shadow to create a perfect copy of Noir that could move far faster than the girl herself. The shadow would charge forwards immediately and attack with its scythe looking to either disrupt the Harpy's next action with an attack or clash with the creatures next ability.

Following the clone, Yakuroro and Noir would be close behind. As Noir swung her scythe, Yakuroro came flying in with a powerful overhead slash of his greatsword. Marax's power generated a physical clone of Yakuroro at the same time as this attack. However instead of an overhead lash, the passive phantom performed an underhand rising slash looking to take off one of the Harpy's wings.

As the Harpy saw Yakuroro approach and cut through the electrical wave, it would wrap its wings around itself, using Mature Shield to try and defend itself. This was successful in negating at least some of the damage being thrown towards the creature, the Marx Shadow and Noir’s first slash cutting through the defensive technique only to have Yakuroro’s experienced blade cut through wings, feathers and flesh to cut it down. The creature had never faced a single equipped King Candidate, let alone two, and was overwhelmed, falling to the ground in a fit of dying screeches.

The guardian out of the way, the pair were welcome to continue past the exit, into the small room containing a table with a stone on it, this one with a purple lightning bolt on it. For better or worse, they had made it to the next door and two handprints awaited their palms, etched into the only other thing in the room.

“Marvelous…Good job, Yakuroro~” Noir chuckled when the Imuchakk dealt a deadly damage to the harpy and killing it instantly. The black haired girl would stare at the deceased winged being with a cold gaze as her heart didn’t feel any remorse nor regret in doing so, pretty much the contrary of what the other Noir would feel after she did it by herself to people that she didn’t want to kill.

Haku would be ready to approach Noir when she called him to come and readied himself when the girl began to mount him so they could walk to a small room. There was a table with a stone that had purple lightning bolt on it; probably it was the same kind of stone that Yakuroro took from the previous area. She remembered one of the matured harpies said that purple was a punishment for failure but she was not sure about it, so she take the stone with her and said to her mentor, “Hopefully this one is useful…” Then she and Haku would approach the thing that had handprints there before looking at the blue haired man, waiting for him to approach them. If he walked to them and ready to touch the handprint, she too, would lift her hand and place her palm to the handprints, hoping it would lead them to the next area.

Slaying the Harpy was an easy task with two Metal Vessel users performing a no mercy assault. Between Yakuroro and Noir, there was probably little in the dungeon that could make a lasting stand against them. Or at least, that would be the case for as long as their magoi held out. If memory served, Noir should have had at least one more magoi recovery potion, but Yakuroro had already used his up and his pool was draining with every passing second. There was no time to waste, as soon as the Harpy was dead, Yakuroro moved on past it to the door. When Noir stopped to comment on the stone, Yakuroro simply scoffed no longer interested in the rocks. There was nothing magical about them and they had only served to lead them astray so far.

"Hmph...Take the deceitful stone if you want. But I want nothing more to do with them."

When Noir was ready, Yakuroro would also reach out and place his hand on the gateway to the next area of the dungeon.

The adventurers would be transported to the Necropolis after touching the door, bringing them one step closer to their destination.
