Guarding the Interesting Woman [Mission/Val]

Mission :

Finding himself new to the city Solomon did not know exactly how he was going to find a job or a way to earn some money, however as he was walking down the streets it was easily discernible which properties held someone of wealth.  As it must have been obvious to others as well he would stop when he saw two men attempting to break into one of the houses, he would yell out and the two men would run. “Hmmm this area must have a lot of thieves.” As he continued to walk he noticed the two men watching him from a distance just waiting till he left the area, which Solomon would sigh and leave the area only to come back and see them doing so again. This time however he would not yell out anything he would come up behind the two of them, and use a Basic Attack on the first man to the left and the other would basic as his he now knew someone was attacking them, the man did not retaliate as he was more frightened than anything else and Solomon would then use a Basic Attack on him as well quickly putting the two out in front of the door. However Solomon would suddenly look up as he heard the door unlock and swing open, there stood a women probably about 30 years old standing in a silk see through gown, she was only about 5’1 in height and she did not look startled at all as she smiled at the door.

“I was watching what you did and I want to hire you for a little while if you do not mind.” She laughed as she realized that Solomon was still just looking at all of her rather than listening to her. He was not being perverted as she was the one that opened the door and it was not that he was drooling he just wished to take the opportunity to look as something dazzling while he had the chance.  What caught his attention however was when she turned around and walk to a table just inside the door, and she would finger him to come in.  He would end up walking over the two bodies slumped on the front door, then close it behind him, then walking over to the table he would sit and ask, “What is it you would like to hire me for?” He was curious what this woman wanted he would not be surprised if it was for sexual favor as the situation was more suited for it and he was a escort before.  “Oh I didn’t think you heard me earlier.” She would say as she laughed and crossed her legs, “I’m looking to hire a bodyguard or two for the next three days as I am only visiting the city, I’m originally for Kou, and there is a odd situation going on ... not involving those two outside but I know there is some people in the city is not in favour of me being here.” Solomon would look around the house as she spoke, she was only a temporary visitor but she is in a house with many valuable things, he found it odd but money can truly supply you with anything. “And how much are you paying?” Solomon would ask when he looked back to her, “Well not only the be able to stay with me for three days and nights but a good deal of money, I’m thinking about 10 to 15,000 Haung based on what happens in that time.”

Another protection job, it seems that is what people need to most out of him, either that or fighting someone or something else, but it did bring in a good amount of money at least and he knew that this noble women would be able to pay him, due to him being a escort prior he was easily able to read people and exactly how much money they would be able to dish out. “That’s fine with me as long as you supply me with food as well.” The women would then stand which allowed Solomon to be able to see all of her backside once more, “That is fine with me, you can just raid the storage when you wish...” She would stop at the bottom of the stairs before going up, “...however come guard me while I get changed please.” As she continued up the stairs Solomon was curious if she just liked the attention or if she truly wished to be that closely guarded for the next three days. He would follow her upstairs and realized as she did a small show for him that it was the first of the two, however Solomon did not mind watching.

After his free show, which was nice since before it was usually the other way around the two of them would head back downstairs and unsurprisingly she expected him to do the cooking, but he did anyway especially since he knew he was good at doing so.

Val walks in for his first say in Helio. He was excited as it was a very desert-like place, a unique place. For Val, it was a new experience because Reim never had these warm winds or a very desert-like place.

The hero was worried about one thing. He needed a basic supply of money as he had none. Val sighed as he looked at a board. It said, "Jobs for Hire" and the hero looked closely. All the jobs were very dumb and very small paying but Val needed a decent size. And that was when he say a job about a Kou noble women. She needed someone to protect her for a couple of days. He hated Kou but some of the people were nice. They respect others but at the same time he hated the rich. He needed a job to survive so he took the page and followed the address.

He asked a lot of people of where to go but most of them shrugged or said get lost. It was a beautiful country but some people were jerks. Then Val met an older woman who had a staff. She pointed to a house with thieves.

Val with shock drew his swords, however, a young immuchak dealt with them. The hero's eyes widen to see the person he needed to help. He then saw the man and the women talking and she invited him in. The hero was not so sure on how to approach them. Val thought for a while on how to walk over. Soloman already took the job and on the job request, it said nothing about more than one bodyguard.

But Val needed the money, as he was broke and he had no place to say. As he walked over toward the building, he heard sounds. It was laughing and dancing music but it was much more. There was sexual tension and Val blushed. He has heard strange noises but this scared him as the feeling of this was weird. Val backed away from the building and sat the bench.

This reminded him of the time with Sarah. There was a day where couples would make love to each other at the village. Val remembered sitting with Sarah but not making love as they were both shy. They were 15 years of age so it was not natural for them. That time Val looked the other way in a shy way, trying to read his book. Sarah comes over and hugs him in a sweet way. Val looks over to see the young immuchak girl sleeping. Val smiled as he brought out his jacket and straw hat. He placed it over Sarah while trying not to wake her up.

When the music was done, Val went over to the door, He made sure he had his request and all his gear with him, especially his Sword of Sands. He knocked on the door, waiting for an answer from the women. It took time for them to answer and he hoped they have not made love. That would be a disgrace on Solo's part, even if his future wife died. He also needed to tell Solo about his promise, his promise to help him.

Solomon was still in the middle of cooking when he heard the door and the women did not seem to move when she heard the door herself so he assumed that must be a part of his job as well, so still wearing his apron and holding a cutting knife and a head of Bok Choy he would then walk over and open the door. As the door opened he would see a familiar face working as a guard however he did tense up slightly as he saw him with a blade, but as he did not lunge Solomon would relax slightly and say, “Hey, not expecting to see you here.” He was curious what he was doing at the women’s door it could not be for him as he did not tell anyone he would be here, “Perhaps you are looking for the lady of the house... Come in she is at the table I was just making dinner for the two of us, and I’ll gladly make another portion as I am not paying for it currently.” He would show him in and wait for him to enter before closing the door; he would take a bit as he would have to kick the limp hand of the thieves out of the way to fully close the door.  Then he would follow Val into the kitchen and pull the chair out he was sitting in, the women looked slightly confused that Solomon would let someone in without permission but he really did not care as he knew this person. “He will not harm you, it is someone I know.” After saying that he would then turn back and continue preparing food, first dealing with the Bok Choy that he held by cutting it up and throwing it into a stir fry pan with some oil, soy sauces, eggs and Tabasco sauce. Then he would then prepare some of the Rainbow Trout that he found in the fridge next to the Bok Choy, he could tell this women did not cook but he fridge was full of expensive ingredients.

As he was cooking however, he could see just outside of the window then men that laid at the door early were now running down the street. He smiled for a moment before continuing his cooking. He was just about the begin dishing out the food before looking back up out the window, now the two men were running back towards the house however they were not alone. Following just behind them were 4 hooded men; the men would point at the house then go back to where they had come. However the 4 hooded men seemed to continue towards the house just out of sight from the window now, “The foods done, please dish it out for yourselves, I will be back in a moment.” Solomon would say as he then left through the front door. Standing just off of the property were the four hooded men, their faces barely visible but Solomon could tell the men were war torn; they must have experienced many battles with the scars that covered their shown arms and legs. Regretfully however they were here to do battle once more, their weapons were already drawn, and following suit Solomon would grip his axe. However he had no intention of using it, and also had no intention of waiting for their attack. Using Natures Loyalty Solomon would begin to summon a root hound just next to himself, then immediately also using Natures Greed & Natures Gluttony he would summon in front of himself the golem and to his other side a spriggan. The numbers were now fair, it did not seem to make the men flinch however, they must have come across other magic users in their past, that or were just over confident, Solomon could not really get a read on them.

However it seemed as if the assassins after watching what Solomon created were more on the defensive roles they weren’t fearful, they just were not foolish which was a bad thing for Solomon. Solomon would have all of his summoned creatures attack at once and he would follow behind.
