Merrze listened to the questions that the Djinn had to ask of her, she knew they would most likely be important, she would answer the questions as truthful as she could. If she were to claim this power she wanted to do it honestly and because she was worthy of it. After the Djinn had finished asking the questions, the white haired girl stood firm and started to speak her mind to her, the words filled with her beliefs.

"I did not steal from the bears simply because those objects were of some importance to them it seemed as it was a part of their village, I had no reason to steal something meaningful from them just to benefit myself, after all they had more meaning to them than they did me. I did not kill the bears because they did not seem to want to fight, they only wanted to live in peace, I only kill when I find it necessary. I assisted the pixies simply because I thought it was right to do. The Thri-kreen seemed to be very violent creatures, they were a threat, they seemed to want to kill anything that crossed their paths and it did not seem to be an act of just wanting to live but to just kill anything they came across to eat, and such a thing could be dangerous, for it would disrupt things so I thought it was the right course of action. And finally the reason I did not kill the creatures in the last room, unlike the Thri-kreen they did not seem bloodthirsty, it was like they were protecting something or doing what they thought was right, killing them deep down did not set right with me despite the fact that they tried to harm me."

After the fanalis had finished speaking, she would wait to hear the djinns reaction. She had done what she thought was right and would stick to her convictions. She wanted this power and hoped she fit what the djinn was looking for, she stood there patiently hoping for good news to pour from the Djinns mouth.

Ayero’s eyes flared at Buer’s response, but she did not move or speak. Every muscle in her body was telling her to go back and aid her comrades, but she was not sure if it was even possible. And if it was, the Djinn might not let her. The group knew the risks of going into the dungeon well, and she could only hope that they’d survive Buer’s trials. Steeling her thoughts, Ayero’s gaze lingered on Buer before wandering over to Merrze when the Djinn prompted her with questions. Though she was a bit irked by the dismissal of her comrades, she didn’t have the gall to challenge Buer. Besides, this was Merrze’s moment to shine.

The older Fanalis quirked a brow, surprised at the questions that followed. So it was this type of character that the Djinn was concerned with? Ayero listened silently to Merrze’s response, her grip firm on her sword and shield as she kept the arrows trained on them in her sight. She was surprised at the amount of heart that the other woman had, but then again Merrze always did seem to be a compassionate person.

Buer listened closely to the words Merrze spoke, nodding slowly. There was no sign of approval or disapproval on the Djinn's face during the entire speech, giving away no sense of what answers were looked favorably upon and which were not. Though she was aware, Buer showed no sense of noticing Ayero's consternation with her prior response. By the time Merrze had finished, Buer had already made her decision. Immediately she commented on the thing that stuck out the most to her. "You believed that the Thri-Kreen were dangerous to the ecosystem? Believing them as a threat was the correct thing to do, but the forest's denizens will always balance itself out without help from the outside." Buer showed a disapproving frown on her face at the answer, waiting for a moment and watching Merrze's reaction to her words.

After a few moments of allowing the weight of her words to sink in, the frown turned into a gentle smile. "But regardless, you closely live the way I value." She lowered her bow, nodding her head towards the two. "By honoring the bear's way of life, you have shown tolerance and control. You did not resort to violence to get your way. While the Thri-Kreen have a natural enemy to keep their numbers in check, helping the Pixies showed your willingness to form positive relations with the forest in order to work on coexisting; the Thri-Kreen were a threat to both of you. The last room was to be a test of your strength... Choosing to not slay any of them, but still managing to get by, shows that you and your companion have true strength. I am impressed with your actions. Choose among the items in the pile, over there, so that I may dwell within it and provide you my strength."

While Merrze would look, Buer approached Ayero directly. There seemed to be a deep and piercing gaze from the woman as she attempted to look into Ayero's eyes. A flash of recognition crossed her face, though it was quickly hidden. "Your friends are doing fine, for now. If my Candidate is able to find a host object soon, then it should be better for your friends... Ah. And take this. It warps based on the heart of the user, and the form that is best for them, but as it is from me you should find it helps bring balance to your Dj... Just take it." She bit her words off before speaking of Eligos. The two of them were on somewhat opposite sides of the spectrum; he was fond of a show of strength, while she was fond of peace. Dozing through opponents, fighting to the death, if she could curb that desire then she would be happy. She handed the dagger on her thigh to Ayero, and it began changing shape...

Ayero arched a brow as Buer spoke and insisted on lending Merrze her strength. While she agreed with Merrze’s reasoning, it all came down to what the Djinn thought. Compared to Eligos, Buer seemed to be the total opposite. As Buer instructed Merrze to find a suitable metal vessel, Ayero turned her head slightly and gave her companion a light smile. As small as the gesture was, it reached her eyes. She was proud of Merrze and praised the woman’s unyielding determination to obtain a Djinn even after her first dungeon run did not end so well.

Ayero had seen Merrze’s compassion and good intentions, but she wondered what the other woman intended to do with her Djinn. Ever since their encounter in Eligos, Ayero had noticed a different air around Merrze. Was it her confrontation with the slavers that had caused this change? Or something else? Either way, Ayero would keep a curious eye on the white haired Fanalis.

The crimson haired warrior was startled out of her thoughts when Buer turned and spoke to her. The light of surprise shone in her eyes as the Djinn spoke of her companions and then offered her a weapon. Taking the dagger, Ayero watched with heightened curiosity as the blade began to morph and change shape in her hands. After marveling at the longsword for a moment, Ayero nodded her head in a brief mock bow. ”Thank you, Buer.” She said simply before turning her focus back to Merrze.

”Congratulations. You’ve earned it.” Ayero nodded in approval, the same smile as before tugging at her lips for a moment.

Merrze slide the silver bracelet on her arm off of her wrist and prevented it before the Djinn showing that she wanted this to be the vessel in which it would dwell. The piece of jewelry was her most prized possession even if it wasn't in the best of condition it meant a lot for the girl, and this was because it had belonged to her mother, she thought it was an appropriate choice, hopefully, the djinn would be okay with it but she was sure that Buer would be okay with the white haired girl's choice in vessel.

"Buer if possible I choose my mother's silver bracelet for it means a lot to me andI think it's very fitting since it's something I always keep on my person even if I am not wearing it at the time."

After the choice would be made she took a quick look over to her companion and was glad that she had conquered the dungeon, the lioness had finally acquired the power that she wanted, it meant so much to the girl and now that she had it Merrze would finally be able to strive towards her goals, She could work to get rid of the black spiders that had plagued her life, not for vengeance but for the fact that they were a threat that needed to be wiped off this world so that they could not talk away the freedoms of the innocent. She now had the power that proved she was a worthy leader so the girl had planned to show others so she could work towards her major goal, to found a place where everyone can belong.

As her companion looked at her the fanalis thought about it for a bit, she had risked her life to help out the fanalis and acquire her new power. Sure they were stuck together but she saw her as family, she saw the redhead girl as someone she could trust after all they had experienced together so she thought it would be best to tell her the goals she had planned. As the lioness stood tall and proud as the tall female she was giving off a feeling of confidence and an aura of kindness she uttered a few words to the girl that had stood before her.

"Thank you so much for assisting me Ayero, it means a lot to me, you've helped me gain this new power, after we leave this place I want to talk to you, I want to tell you on why I came here for this power and what I plan for the future."

Buer smiled towards Ayero, nodding before watching the interaction between the two Fanalis. When Merrze asked her if it would be possible to dwell within the bracelet, Buer affirmed this possibility. "Yes, that is a fine option for dwelling within. Please, make sure to use my power with wisdom." With Merrze saying the last words she would inside this dungeon to Ayero, Buer would immediately begin moving. She slowly walked forward, reaching her hand out towards Merrze's bracelet in order to transfer her power and existence into this new vessel. Right before her fingers touched the object, her eyes darted to the left and a brief smile appeared on her face. She touched the bracelet, and a bright light shone briefly before the group felt a similar pull on them as they had when they first entered the dungeon. The strength of the Djinn was immediately felt as Buer began to disappear. "All the creatures in this dungeon were a manifestation of my power. Now that we are leaving, those creatures will no longer exist. But do not feel bad; in the beginning, they were all simply facets of myself. Their power is returning to me, as it does for others in most other dungeons."

Uncharacteristic of a Djinn, some information behind the dungeon was shared. Neither of the two would likely know why it was as such.

The two Fanalis would find themselves standing outside of the Dungeon, back in the marketplace they were in before. It was noon, and everyone was bustling about until the appearance of the two Fanalis took place. All around them was a mound of coin, gems, jewelry and the like... and behind them were two Kou officials, looking a bit worse for the ware, and a member of the Fanalis Corp that Ayero was acquainted with.

One of the Balbadd Mercenary Guardsmen approached the two, and looked with a raised eyebrow. "There is a portion of tax that needs to be paid. You can fill out the forms over there..." The man pointed to a table, with some paperwork that stood upon it. "Our men will make sure that nothing gets stolen from your find..." Everyone was already too stunned to move, but while it didn't seem like anyone had moved forward the pile seemed slightly smaller than what they recalled seeing it as when they were in the Dungeon itself. The guards moved in place to keep the rest away.

Just then, a violent shaking occurred as the gate fell apart and the tree was restored to its prior glory, signifying the conquering of the location. Many people fell to the ground, and some goods such as vases and other fragile items also fell and were ruined. The senior Mercenary turned back to Merrze and scratched his head. "Well?"

Merrze saw the Djinns smile hearing her words wondering what the meaning behind it was, but the girl did not have enough time to ask such of the djinn. As she slowly felt the effect of being pulled away like she had once before she looked around to make sure that everything was okay. Then soon the girl would find herself outside the dungeon back in the area where they had began, as she looked around she was soon confronted by a mercenary asking for the money that was due for entering the dungeon so she only saw that it was right, it was apart of the deal for being allowed to enter so she would hand over the tax and would then leave the area to begin learning more about her Djinn.

After being transported out of the dungeon, Ayero raised a hand to shield her eyes, squinting from the light of the sun being reflected off of the piles of gold surrounding her and Merrze. She could only spare a glance at the riches surrounding them before a guard approached them, a look of curiosity etched into his features. When he explained the tax, Ayero stared at him for a moment before nodding in understanding. Ah, the payment. She had forgotten that detail until he had mentioned it, but she wasn’t too concerned with the money. While extra gold was always nice, Balbadd didn’t require them to purchase a ticket to enter the dungeon.

Before signing over her portion of the tax, Ayero’s gaze fell on her comrades whom she had been separated from in the dungeon. A light of relief shone in her eyes and she hurriedly made their way toward them. The group reconvened for a short while, Ayero making sure that her companions were not hurt too badly and vice versa. When Ayero asked how they had fared in the dungeon, the Fanalis woman, Yael and the Kou lieutenant, Hojo exchanged glances before responding that things had been fine.

Ayero arched a brow at the exchange, noting a tinge of nervousness in their eyes. Regardless, they were fatigued from the trials of Buer and Ayero waved them off to get some rest. She proceeded to fill out the Balbadd taxation forms, but once again her mind wandered from the piles of riches that seemed to attract a growing crowd. Her thoughts began to settle on Merrze, and Ayero’s eyes drifted toward the other woman, curious about what she would do with her new-found power. The white haired Fanalis had said that she wanted to talk, but perhaps this wasn’t the right place or time to.
