After Ani had trained with Hoyo to strengthen their bonds and her skill as a trainer she decided that Hoyo himself needed to get stronger. Reading some stories on Hoyo's family she learned that they had the potential to sense life through a sixth sense of a sort. After talking with a few beast tamers, she learned it had something to do with noticing electricity. Not caring to get to in depth with it, she just decided to set up a training program to awaken this sense. Leaving earlier in the morning she looked for a place teeming with life. Soon she found a cave near the river they sometimes fished in. Looking around the cave she saw it had a variety of insects and vermin living in it. Finding it the perfect place she set up a small course using rocks and pieces of wood from the trees outside. Once the course had been set up she left the cave with a smile on her face. After leaving the cave, she followed the river to the pond she had left Hoyo to swim around in so he wouldn't see how she set up the course. Looking into the water she let out a whistle and soon enough Hoyo jumped out of the pond landing right next to her. With a smile on her face, Ani looked into the eyes of the beast who had grown over this past week. It was one of the three growth spurts that the lagiacrus went through during its life. "Come on boy we're going to do something fun." She said turning to walk to the cave.
Once they had made it to the cave Ani pointed to a line made out of rocks. "Stay." She commanded as she walked down the path stepping away from the obstacles to make sure she wouldn't disturb the process. Once at the end of the course she turned around and looked at Hoyo. "Alright come here, and try to find the life." She said looking along the path at a few of the obstacles. Some of them had a rat, or plant under it while others just had rocks put under them. Hoyo slowly took steps making his way down the path. Unfortunately, he didn't find any of the life. Giving a sigh Ani sent Hoyo back to the beginning to try again. In the end they kept practicing for five hours. "Well at least you found one flower this time." She said watching him flip a rock up with his tail to find a flower. She was a bit disappointed with their results, but at least it seemed Hoyo was getting the hang of it. Deciding to leave she pointed to the entrance and Hoyo began making his way out of the cave while Ani was following behind. Then suddenly she saw Hoyo swing his tail against the ground. Ani being shocked by this she looked to see that a few scorpions had been making their way towards Ani. Looking up to Hoyo she smiled lightly happy to see the training had actually payed off. "Good job!" She exclaimed as she left to go eat dinner with her beast.
