‘….tch.’ The man clicked his tongue, annoyed by the creature that he had to deal right now. He would lift his Katana and swung it to kill the little scorpions but it didn’t stop coming. In fact, he wished that he wouldn’t have to deal with this troublesome little stingers alone, and hoped that his acquaintance that was capable to cast some fiery magic to come and burnt all the creatures. Well that was not going to happen though no matter how much he wished for that to happen, “I’m counting on you… Myou…” He murmured to his Katana as he began to swing it again, crushing the swarms of little stingers near him.
It all began around several hours ago… when the morning sky was not as bright as usual and the dark clouds gathered up above. The citizen was pleased by the sky color, busying themselves to prepare some big bucket to store the rain so they could re-use the water and waited until it rain. Soon the rain dropped on the ground steadily and gradually became swifter as time passed, making the citizen contempt to be able to store some rain water for their needs. Tenma watched from the window at his inn room, enjoying the cold wind while lazily humming a random melody. He wanted to be lazy today, didn’t want to go out and still want to cuddle with the pillow. As soon as he was ready to lie down on the bed so he could get some other sleep, he heard a lot of screaming from outside. It was not a mere screaming but it sounded like a massive disaster occurred in the city. He grunted as he maneuvered his body to get up, climbing down from the bed and head to see what happened from the window. “…scorpions…?”
The next thing he remembered, he ended up dealing with the endless scorpions. He groaned, knowing he should directly kill the leader if he want it to stop but these little things had him fully occupied. Lucky for him some townspeople helped to get rid of the things too, so Tenma decided to find the den, wishing to just end it all. ‘How in the world did so many scorpions swarmed to the city… what is the cause…’ He wondered as he kept walking towards where the scorpions came, hoping that it would lead him to their den. The man continued his step, slaying some little scorpions on his way until he exited the city, finding himself walking in the middle of the desert. ‘There must be something in this Desert of Forgotten Soul…’
