Appearance: The blade is 56 centimeters long and it's mounted atop a 1.8 m (6 foot) long wooden pole with a pointed metal counter weight used to balance the heavy blade and for striking on the opposite end. The blade has a Chinese dragon motif on it and a red tassel attached on it.As a whole the Shăndiàn weights around 72 kg
