Race: Human
Tier: B-Tier
Specialization: Warrior [Primary], Body Manipulator [Secondary]
Age + Birthdate: 21, May 4th
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality:A man with a peculiar aura is what one might seem to sense when looking upon Yushin. By nature, Yushin is a very idealistic and adventurous youth who struggles to balance his intrepid character with the formalities of his upbringing. Through bio-social conditioning, Yushin can be quite analytical and noble through his "noble" line. He understands formalities extensively and possess a remarkable keen sense for things. His observational abilities outdo the average man to the point where Yushin does not need to overexert himself to figure out any situation or concept. By his talent, he is a naturally intelligent man, however, many times Yushin's childish and adventurous sides clash with his intelligence. Therefore, on occasions, Yushin's rationale become tainted with his natural affinity towards adventure.
His affinity towards romance and adventure roots itself mainly in the fact that Yushin is a man that must know everything. Possessing a curious and inquisitive mind, Yushin views the world through the eyes of a child. The world is a wonder. The world is beautiful. He must know. He must know and come to understand the world. Through this need, Yushin has a very strong instinct to see the world and soak in the art that is life.
He is also a well rounded gentleman that highly treasures and respects women.
A man that appreciates talents and wonders, Yushin favors those who are loyal not precisely to him, but to the bettering of the world. From a young age, Yushin was exposed to conflicts and misunderstandings that pushed him to aspire to be a doctor. Not a doctor in the sense of a doctor, but a doctor that heals all wounds. If the world weeps, he will be there to mend the wounds. If humanity conflicts with each other, he will unite humanity. Riddled with fantastically wondrous ideals, Yushin upholds his beliefs and does not falter, therefore his will is strong and imposing. It is often said that Yushin emanates a glorious aura that enlarges his presence, and this is strongly due to his character and willpower.
Although not against the use of combat, Yushin would prefer to conquer opponents through any means that is suitable to the situation. Because of this trait, Yushin possesses a darker manipulative side to his interior. Sneaky and crafty, this side of him is rarely ever shown or noticed, and because of this, Yushin excels at negotiations and battle of wits. Concurrently however, Yushin is just as apt in combat as he is with his mind, however he does not always resort to violence. Whichever method that seems fit to resolve an issue is the method that Yushin would choose, mind the few occasions when he chooses fun over rationality (which is a lot more that a few occasions).
Yushin's childish and adventurous nature generally balances out well with his noble side. With this balance, yet split to his character, Yushin well represents the Gemini sign that he is born under.
Likes:Older girls: The sisterly type that is. Yushin tends to prefer the company of older girls because he feels a sense of security around older sister figures.

Camaraderie/Fellowship: Yushin strongly believes in unity and passionately loves to see fellowship amongst people.
Children: As he sees a gentleness within them that is hopeful to the future.
Cute things: Yeah....kinda fetishy but NOT REALLY! Yushin is still a child deep inside somewhere.
Music: Yushin is exceptionally skilled with a variety of instruments that he comes across with in his life. He believes that music is a central aspect to culture.
Dancing: Same as above.
Understanding: Due to his curiosity. However, he also enjoys NOT understanding because he believes that the mysterious is a thrill to seek.
Culture: A very fascinating and important facet of life.
Dislikes:Disloyalty: Treachery to those that trusted you.
Disharmony: The opposite of fellowship.
Cowardice: An unsightful characteristic. Different from being scared which is okay, as that is within human nature. However, cowardice and self serving selfishness is not okay.
Aspirations: To one day unite his people under one kingdom to live in harmony and happiness. He wishes to become the World's Doctor. By any means necessary, Yushin will unite and stitch the world. However, this ideal becomes obsessive to a fault at times and he does not realize that he may cause injury in the process of healing. To be able to mend the wounds of the world, Yushin believes that the world must hurt first. Those who hurt become stronger and understand pain. They then are able to use that pain to help others. Yushin does not believe that everyone must hurt so therefore, he tries to burden himself with the world's pain. To accomplish these goals, Yushin understands that he needs strength, in numbers, and in power. His route to mending can take many different turns.
Phobias/fears: Himself. His own cowardice and his own vices that he hates so much. His reasons of hating these traits are because he believes that he possesses them to a fault. He also has a fear of ultimate failure. He accepts that failure is a way to better oneself, however, Yushin is mightily afraid of an ultimate failure where an individual cannot redeem themselves. Therefore, his own phobia is the fear of his own possible incompetence.

Special Traits:History:PART 1.
- Spoiler:
Wang Yushin was born into a forgotten people; a lost people with no home. The people had no unified name, however the same blood ran through all of them and this was for certain.
These forgotten people, who have lost their homeland, were split into three groups: The Sangju, Jeonju, and Myeongju. Each group, or Forgotten Kingdoms, were rules by a single "Uncrowned King" who is descended by the royalty of their respective line. Long ago, these three groups were unified under one mighty kingdom, however, time claimed this kingdom for its own and thus separated this once mighty kingdom into three factions. Three would be kings took their respective followers and roamed the world as travelers, tribes so to speak. The descendents of these would be kings would be known as the royal family, and the leaders of their respective factions henceforth were dubbed the "Uncrowned Kings".
Each group or faction came to respect each other as brothers still however, but the the relationship between these three factions were fragile and tense. Although they traveled together within the same route across the lands, they never were unified. They believed that since they were all kinsman under the old regime, they should never be separated. But, the three factions always remained distance with each other as they all believed that their own "Uncrowned king" was the true king of the people.
Although this once unified people became nomads, they still retained the practices of their ancestors. Tradition, agriculture, crafting, clothing, philosophy, martial arts, every aspect of the old regime remained carved into the lifestyle of these people. However, each faction took with them different specializations and waged a cold war amongst each other fro generations.
This cold war would continue to break the bonds between these once brothers. Scuffles on the battlefield were not commonplace, however they did occur. Diplomatic treaties, competition, and guidelines were followed between the three group but the forgotten people were held together only by a thin strand.
Wang Yushin, child of the Uncrowned King, Wang Muyeol, made him the Uncrowned Prince of Sangju. The Sangju faction, the smallest of the three factions, held the feeblest in manpower. Yet, the people thrived through hard labor, tradition, and technique as the Sangju people took most of their ancestral technique with them in the Great Schism.
Through his birth into the most traditional of the factions, Yushin was blessed with the many royal tenets of his forefathers. It was said that during his birth, a star descended from heaven and fell to the earth. The implications of his birth came with a great omen; that of a blessing or a curse the priests did not know. What was known in this stead was that Yushin at a young age had a tendency to rebel. Gifted with a mind of great curiosity, the young Yushin wandered away from his caretakers, causing a great deal of trouble to those who looked after him. With rough conditioning on his father's part, Yushin began to adapt to the role of that came with his status.
It was quite evident within the faction that Yushin was no ordinary boy. Just as his father did, Yushin underwent the trials of the factions at an earlier age than was required for those of common birth. This was a tradition carried on by every one of Yushin's ancestors, as those of the royal line had to lead their people. Entering into the Sangju Hwarang (Flower Boys) at an early age, Yushin studied under the guide of the Wonsanghwa (First Officer in Charge of Training), Pungwoljiu (Chief officer), and the special instruction of the Gukseon (The Grand Master). Under their guidance, the Uncrowned King left Yushin to groom.
Thus, this was how Yushin lived. From his childhood, to puberty, and onwards, Yushin was groomed to be his Father's right hand man. Unfortunately at the expense his caretakers, Yushin still retained a fair amount of his mischievous. He would explore without permission, stay up late past hours, and would gather a further knowledge and understanding of the world around him outside the scope of his studies. To the eyes of many though, Yushin remained their Uncrowned Prince. Through years of practice, the young man developed his character and skill to tuck his childish nature away. However, sometimes this childish nature of him would spring out, and he would have to allow it to take a fair bite before he let it rest again.
Through this trait, Yushin began to ponder, think, and expand his mind. On one of his trips away from his barracks, Yushin stumbled across an open clearing under the night sky. The stars were glimmering so intensely that day, it would forever be ingrained in his memory, for that day, under the light of the stars....he met her.
PART 2.
- Spoiler:
A girl, seemingly the same age as himself, lay asleep on the grass within the clearing. Immediately he noticed the crest embroidered on her hanbok and he took her for a Myeongju girl. Other than his diplomatic visits with his father to the other factions, Yushin had never met a kinsman from another faction.
She glowed. Her hair was dark yet so bright. Her skin, so pale, that if it were so, she would become lost within a pile of fresh snow. Her very essence, drew Yushin near, and for the longest moment in his short, brief life thus far...he forgot how to breathe.
Her name was Hye-Won.
Just like him, she would escape the confines within her borders, and she would come to the clearing to breathe. She was an adventurous, kind, and warm girl. Her very aura exuded light, a bright light, and brightened up even the darkest of nights. To Yushin, he finally met someone that he could talk with about the outside world. Finally, he had met someone who, without status, without title, was just like him in mind. No. In fact, she was more. Her light invaded the deepest niches within Yushin's very being. She was, brighter than him. If Yushin was born under an omen, Hye-Won was born under a miracle.
Yushin soon realized that his mind was too narrow. Hye-Won's vision and her broad mind exceeded Yushin's to the heaven's above, and it intrigued him. She wanted to see the world. She wanted to see happy people, happy faces. She wanted, HER people to be happy.
As much as possible, the two youths would meet up under that very same clearing and talk about each other and life. They would talk about their feelings and their ambitions. Hye-Won's ambitions of course, always outshone that of Yushin's. Yushin's ambitions were broad, yes very broad and big, but they were never specific. Hye-Won, always knew what she wanted, and she talked about what she wanted. She wanted unity amongst the people. It was the same ideal as Yushin, but for the very first time, Yushin's ambitions were clarified.
One day, Yushin proposed something that they had never done before. "Hey, why don't we explore outside for once? You know...away from this clearing?" After the whole year that they had spent together; talking, laughing, and being together, never once did they try to meet elsewhere. However, on this day, Yushin noticed something odd. Hye-Won...seemed reserved. Reluctantly, she agreed and together they walked to the nearby river dividing the camps between the Sangju and the Myeongju. There, once again under the starlit sky, Yushin was with Hye-Won. The light from the full moon reflected off of the flowing river, and all was calm. All was beautiful.
Suddenly, Hye-Won turned her back on Yushin and told him that that night was the last night that she would see him. With that, she walked away. That night, Yushin couldn't go home. When dawn broke, Yushin woke to a loud skirmish near his camp. With the greatest of urgency, he ran back to his camp to find Myeongju forces outside the western border. With flags raised high, and fully armored, the Myeongju forces stood at attention. Rushing to his father, Yushin demanded to know what had happened. With a pained look in his father's eye, Yushin was asked raised an issue. He had been spotted with the 2nd Priestess of Myeongju at the River border. With accusations of an Uncrowned Prince eloping with a Myeongju Priestess, the enemy demanded punishment. With the same argument that a Myeongju Priestess was seen eloping with a Sangju Uncrowned Prince, the Uncrowned King Muyeol of Sangju demanded retribution as well. This led to a greater rift between the two factions and tensions began to rise.
Within a neutral council between the two factions, Yushin accompanied his father to speak of peace between kinsman. However as talks of diplomacy continued, an increased amount of ridiculous proposals kept them from getting anywhere.
Seeing that discussion was getting them nowhere, the council was adjourned temporarily.
Compelled to see Hye-Won, Yushin snuck into Myeongju territory and entered into her chamber. Demanding to know what she implied by her words last night, Yushin found out that she was to be married to Myeongju's Uncrowned Prince. With this revelation forefront, Yushin asked if this was by her own will? Upon realizing that this was in no way her will, he asked her if she would go with him, away from their people to explore the world as they once dreamed of. He took her hand and ran off towards the border. Upon reaching the border, Hye-Won shook free of Yushin's grip and told him that it wasn't just the world that she wanted to see, but a united world where her people and his people were united. She questioned Yushin's love for his own people, and within that moment, Yushin pondered deeply within himself to find that answer.
Yes. Yes he loved his people. They were his people after all. He would take care of them, and he would protect them. However, he said that he would protect Hye-Won and her people as well. He proposed to go together to speak with the Uncrowned Kings about their situation together. With some hesitation, Hye-Won agreed.
Upon agreeing, Hye-Won was immediately pierced with a Sangju arrow. In horror, Yushin turned his head up to realize that they had been spotted by a Sangju guard. It wasn't long after that the Myeongju took notice, and immediately, they returned fire at Yushin as well. Soon, units and troops began to mobilize, and one of the largest military skirmishes in the Forgotten People's history occurred. Doing what he could for Hye-Won, Yushin fled the battlefield to tend to Hye-Won's wounds. Desperately, with tears blurring his eyes, Yushin watched as any attempt to cease Hye-Won's bleeding failed. Without proper medical equipment, nor the backing of any help, Yushin could only watch as Hye-Won's life slipped closer and closer to ending. If he didn't do anything soon, the life of the one person who ever truly understood him, would return to the flow of the Rukh.
This...couldn't be how things would end. How could fate be so cruel? So what if they were of different factions?! They were both kinsman! They were both humans! He couldn't understand. At that moment, he didn't understand.....the cruelty of fate. If he could just do something...IF HE COULD JUST DO SOMETHING! IF HE COULD JUST DEFY FATE!
...
A thump on the back of his head, and Yushin lost consciousness.
Upon awaking, the cries of battle were nowhere to be heard. The only thing that he could see, was the mass of his people gathered at the camp, staring at him and his father. What had happened? A ceasefire, he was told. Yushin, being stripped of all his rights, stood before his people to receive sentencing.
From that moment forward, the Uncrowned King of Sangju, Wang Yushin, was hereby exiled. He was to be forgotten, by the Forgotten People, and branded within the written records as an outsider. He was to be stripped of his Pungwoljiu (Chief Officer) Hwarang status, and his retainers were to be exiled as well for failing to groom him and educate him.
With sadness in his father's eyes, Yushin was told that this was the best of mercy that he could provide for him. After the recent events, relations with the Myeongju have shattered, and compensation in quantity of goods and wealth were to be tributed. A death sentence was also demanded, yet his father was able to soften the demands.
But what about Hye-Won? No answer was given.
With the sentence standing, Yushin was hereby exiled. By "grace" of the Myeongju, Yushin would remain a Uncrowned Prince, however the true reasoning behind this was far from grace. It was an insult to the Sangju, to have an exiled Crowned Prince.
The next morning, Yushin stood with his back towards his own people. It was at this moment, that he realized the eyes of his people, stabbing into his backside. Grinding his teeth, he then knew that he had brought dishonor to his people, and that they held the fiercest of resentment towards their disgraced king. Daring to turn his face one last time to his Sangju kinsman, Yushin fell into complete and utter emotional shock.
Tears. Tears of his people, fell...for him. Waving, crying, forced smiles, they were all there. Yes, the people loved their Uncrowned Prince. Even with his mistakes, the Sangju were a strong and united faction. They would never turn their back against each other, especially towards their beloved Yushin.
"See Yushin. This entire time, you thought I had exuded a light. Don't you see now? Did you think I was brighter than you? No. Yushin. Your light shines brighter than anything that you ever saw from me. Yushin, it wasn't me that you were looking at. My light...came from you. What these people see......is your brilliant, all encompassing light. Your essence, is light."
A sudden wave of shock, realization, and emotion shook throughout Yushin's very being. Had...he just heard.....Her voice?
It was then, that Yushin resolved himself. He would unite the world, just as Hye-Won wanted. He would become the World's Doctor, healing all pain and suffering. He could do nothing for Hye-Won. He would, no matter what, do what he could for the world.
And thus, his journey began.
Role-Play Sample:The midnight waves had slowly quieted down to a comfortable, soothing silence that rippled through Yushin's body peacefully as he tied down his small but sturdy boat that he had taken.
Soft footprints embedded themselves into the sand that Yushin walked on, leaving imprints of his black boots, clinging ever so desperately onto his soles as he walked onward.
"Whew." A breath escaped the youth momentarily as the lights within the darkness loomed closer and closer to him as he grew closer to the nearest town. A sign clumsily stuck down to the left read a warning. Almost illegible, he let out the words that he could barely make out.
"Rollin Town..." He recited, struggling, and squinting so slightly to read the sign.
"Is it Rollin Town or Rolling Town? The sign's so worn out I can hardly tell." With both hands on his hips Yushin leaned forward, face almost foot away from the sign and blew out the dust that covered a majority of the sign.
'Rollin Town' it read.
"Hmmm I guess it really is just Rollin Town. How strange!" A slight laugh escaped his mouth as he readjusted himself away from the sign.
"Well might as well relax, find myself a place to eat..." A sudden growl broke through the gentle atmosphere.
"Oh. I'm so starving..." Slouching down, bending his knees, Yushin rubbed his empty stomach, almost crying along with his wailing tummy.
"I....I need food!""...
The town itself wasn't so impressive, maybe the sign outside the border gave that away, but it wasn't terrible. More or less it was a semi-modern locale, just by walking through Yushin could tell that it had thriving markets and a simple but comfortable lifestyle after light broke through the night sky.
"Not really a place that the ship crew could go wild in though." He mused, almost missing the vibrant energy and joy that the hired crew gave him. Just earlier, he had payed a humble fee to gain passage into these waters. The crew itself was quite jolly, and Yushin immensely enjoyed their company. It was a shame really that they had to part ways but he was partly glad that they didn't follow him into such a boring town. The place was quiet, almost a ghost town, hardly anyone could be seen wandering the streets other than himself.
Finding a cozy bar and inn almost midway into town, Yushin walked in, an audible bell ringing as he did so. Contrary to the quiet and mellow atmosphere outside, the place was bustling with people, music, and a whole ton of alcohol. The sudden shift of energy slapped Yushin across the face, prompting him to stand at the door with a dumb and surprised look on his face. What a great yet terrible first impression. The goal here was to slip into town quietly but now all eyes were on him. Hopefully the town wasn't an occupied territory, with a now bounty on his head, Yushin had found himself to be recognized quite easily in the region. The Sangju youth mistakenly set ablaze a naval vessel that was supposed to bring him here. Barely escaping, Yushin fled before realizing that he hadn't paid. Apparently, the naval vessel carried quite a number of high profile characters, therefore, Yushin was charged with a variety of offenses. The surrounding lands were notified to be on lookout, therefore, Yushin resorted to hiring a humble smuggling crew to take him across the sea. If word had reached out as far as Rollin Town, trouble could possibly brew.
Seconds passed and the glares continued, it felt like minutes actually, but in reality the moment lasted a mere couple seconds before the townsfolk went back to their own business.
"Whew...that could've been bad." He gasped, barely audible. Walking towards the bar, Yushin set himself up on the high stool and waited as the bartender proceeded to approach Yushin.
"Well what'll it be stranger? Haven't really seen you around these parts." The bartender spit into a cup, wiping it off roughly with a cloth that was previously hung over his shoulder. Yushin watched. disgusted but also amused at the outright action performed right in front of him, a customer.
"Well..." He started,
"I was hoping to get a drink but now I think I'll pass." Holding his hand up, Yushin waved away the offer.
"Quiet town though. What's the deal? You just like to party indoors?" Yushin looked up to the bartender, elbows now on the table and both his hands and fingers interlocked.
A brief moment of nervousness passed along the bartender's face as he set the cup back into a shelf.
"Well...you see..." Now hesitance flashed through the bartender's face,
"Word has it....we got a WITCH on the outskirts of town. Nasty lad, casting hocus pocus spells in the woods. Has the whole town outright terrified." Yushin cocked an eyebrow, head turning slightly at the bartender's words.
"A witch?""AYE!" A sudden thump aroused Yushin to turn around to see a big man, roughly 7 feet tall, well built wearing a white wifebeater and a broken glass in his right hand.
"Saw them mystical spells with me own eyes! Boy heed my advice! Stay out of those woods you hear me?! Stay ou- WHAT THE HELL YOU DOING!? I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!!"Yushin had walked pass the man and was heading towards the door at this point, a smirk forming on the corner of his mouth. Stopping right by the door, back towards the room Yushin laughed. By now the room was quiet, the men were perplexed by the abrupt attitude of the young lad. The laughter died down, a full on smirk was now visible on Yushin's face.
"A witch huh?" he turned his head towards the men in the room, the smirk fitting onto his energetic face like the last piece of a puzzle.
"A witch huh..."...
"SOUNDS LIKE FUN!!!" And with that, the young Sangju man left the room, leaving the inhabitants inside in awe. They saw it, the white light. They didn't know what they had just witnessed, but as the young lad turned his back, they could see his light, his brilliant, all encompassing light.
"That child....just who is he?"
