Zadi felt that he could do better as a Magician, specifically as a Black Magician. Not that he wasn’t already pretty good at using magic by now, but rather that he wanted to get better than just ‘good’. Zadi went out to the tropical islands of Balbadd not too far away and decided to train his skills in the 7th magic type, Strength. This element of magic was very strange in the way it behaved in the sense that…it could literally do anything if used properly! It was a strange gift that Zadi was born with his magic type, for he was a creative person by nature. Though some of his techniques were less than creative such as Push or Burst, other spells he attained in his life are a little more creative. Spells such as Twist which uses a complex set of formulas, as in order, to twist force around on object and sort of punch it in an obscure way. Another spell that is pretty creative in terms of use is his Rush spell. In combination with his Blunt spell, it was a great melee asset in case things got a little tough to deal with. Zadi kept thinking of all the spell he had and he just wanted to make so many more! Zadi was thinking of a way to use Gravity Magic against an opponent or how to use to extend an attack! He could create black holes, tornados, invisible slashes, ANYTHING! It was just up to Zadi to utilize his studies and experiences in order to enhance his inner Magoi’s capabilities.

Zadi, now at the Siren’s Beach where he had his very first Magician’s Battle with an Imuchakk by the name of Yakuroro, started to pump out spells in order to learn more about how the Rukh reacted to pure force and the like. Zadi was about to use his Push spell when he realized that magic wasn’t meant to harm others. It was a shame that magic could be used offensively…but it was fun to battle. Zadi didn’t cast a spell in order to gain his newly attain enlightenment…the philosophy that magic was a source of inner strength and self-control. Being able to use magic wisely is the sign of a truly great Magician…though battling is what makes magic more enjoyable rather than making sand move or air flow in a certain direction. Zadi took a good look at his staff…the Gawking Heron…and remembered all the good times he’s had learning about magic through battling. Zadi looked back up to the sky, reflecting on how big the world was! It was really friggin huge! Zadi now looked across the horizon. The vastness of it was dislikable for Zadi…but it also let Zadi in on a little secret…that is…life is infinite. Sure that was a simple concept, but to Zadi, it meant that his magic could go so much further than he could ever imagine. And I think that Zadi, just now, increased his aptitude in the Arts of Magic through simple reflection and enlightenment~
