Bianca Lenti Natasha

Name: Bianca Lenti
Nationality: Reim
Race: Human
Tier: D-Tier
Specialization: Intelligence|Life
Age + Birthdate: 17|February 8th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality:
On the surface, Bianca is a sweet, gentle girl who takes pride in caring for others. As a healer, she’s very protective of her patients and will go through great lengths to ensure that they’re comfortable. As kind-hearted as she is Bianca can be a bit gullible and too trusting at times especially around the injured, some of whom may feign injury or illness just to get pampered by her.

Bianca is a people person, always happy to meet new people with a friendly smile. As she’s only traveled within Reim, those from foreign countries are especially welcome and will often be invited for a cup of tea in exchange for stories of their travels. She often gets excitable when conversing on a topic she loves, and can end up asking too many questions or talking too quickly. As much as she loves people, Bianca becomes fairly flustered around men her age, especially if she finds them attractive. Her reactions are not limited to blushing, stuttering, avoiding looking them in their eyes and becoming clumsier than usual.

If she encounters something or someone she dislikes strongly, Bianca may forget her place and speak rudely. This is liable to happen if one of her patients is threatened, as Bianca sees herself as their protector while they are unable to defend themselves.

Causing undue harm to others goes against what Bianca has been taught as a healer, so she often tries to avoid any combat situation that she might find herself it. However, if she or innocent lives are threatened and there is absolutely no way to escape the situation without using combative magic then she will do so, albeit hesitantly.

Likes:

-Flora: Bianca loves flowers and plants. She initially began to grow different types of herbs for their healing properties and found that she enjoyed the hobby. Her room more closely resembles a greenhouse with a bed as she prefers to keep her various types of plants and flowers in one area.
-Her Work: Bianca sees her magic as a gift, blessed with the power to mend flesh and heal grievous wounds. There’s nothing quite as satisfying to her as making a difference in someone’s life, no matter how small.
-Cooking: Bianca loves cooking, unfortunately others don’t seem to share the same sentiment. It’s not that she’s a particularly poor cook, but she has the habit of adding bitter medicinal herbs to her cooking that, well...really shouldn’t be added.
-Fanalis: Having grown up around the Fanalis Corps, Bianca feels safer and more kindred with those of Fanalis heritage.

Dislikes:

-Violence: While Bianca understands that violence may be necessary at times and that the world she lived in would likely not be the same without it, she dislikes seeing violence in general. Needless violence in particular is something she despises, such as those who hurt people for money/goods or just because they enjoy inflicting pain on others.
-Closed-Off People: Being as friendly and open as she is, Bianca gets a little miffed when people don’t want to talk to her. Despite knowing that they have their reasons, she’d rather have someone tell her point blank if they don’t wish to speak with her (even if it might hurt) rather than giving her the cold shoulder.
-Being Teased: Bianca dislikes being teased about anything, be it her shyness around boys or her poor physical ability.
-Swamps: After tumbling into a swamp as a child and getting covered in little swamp creatures, Bianca avoids marshes and swamps alike, especially as they smell foul.

Aspirations: Bianca dreams of wandering to distant lands as a traveling healer, using her powers to help those who do not have access to doctors or life mages. She aims to become a highly skilled and respected healer who will hopefully inspire others to take up medicine. Tied into this vision, Bianca wants to grow up to be a confident and wise woman who can speak to men without fear or nerves. She sees her shyness around the opposite sex as a weakness, and is constantly trying to remedy this.

Phobias/fears: After the demise of the Fanalis Corps, Bianca fears for the lives of her loved ones. After seeing the aftermath of their corpses being paraded through the streets, she has come to fear any sort of mass grisly carnage. While she’s able to stomach the bloody and battered bodies that come through the hospital, witnessing a great slaughter would likely leave her paralyzed in fear, shaking and/or vomiting.

Bianca is also terrified of frogs and leeches. After falling into a swamp one day as a child, she resurfaced covered in slimy amphibians and blood-sucking creatures. Since that day, the mere mention of either frogs or leeches sends a shiver down her spine.

Face-Claim: Natasha- Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 5’6”|167 cm
Weight: 125 lbs|56.7 kg
Appearance: Standing at 5’6”, Bianca is a young woman with a small, lithe frame. While she has a decent constitution, she’s somewhat physically weaker than other girls her age due to the fact that her profession does not involve much physical exertion. Her wavy blonde hair reaches just past her collarbone and her deep blue eyes have a resting gentleness to them.
She wears a white dress with full length sleeves that fits her form well around her chest and slender hips and billows out with extra fabric past her knees. The dress is fairly modest, showing no cleavage as the collar rises to mid-neck and is adorned with small embellishments. She often wears a white shroud over her shoulders, extending from the hood on her head to the back of the middle of her thighs.
Rukh Alignment: White
Special Traits: N/A
History:

Seventeen years ago, King Claudius Augustus of Reim had taken a lover in secret. The woman in question was one of the lowly palace servants, a fair young woman with a frail physique known as Carmina. Though the infatuation between the two was strong, their affair lasted only a few months, coming to an abrupt end when Carmina discovered that she was pregnant. She was forcibly terminated from her employment at the palace and strictly instructed to abstain from contact with the King as well as anyone else from the royal family. Luckily, Carmina was taken in by her older brother Giovanni, a life mage who worked in one of Remano’s hospital equivalents.

Carmina’s physical condition declined during her pregnancy, and eventually she became so weak that she was bedridden during the final few weeks of her third trimester. She barely survived childbirth with the aid of her brother and two other life mages, but sadly her body would only remain alive so long as she was supported by their magic. But the daughter she had given birth to was in danger of losing her own life as well. Carmina had given birth two months prematurely, and the baby girl was small and fragile with sickly white skin. Carmina begged the life mages to turn their support from her to the little girl whom she named Bianca for her pale appearance. That night, the last breath left Carmina’s body just as little Bianca finally began to cry.

About a month after Bianca’s birth, her uncle was approached by the leader of the Fanalis Corps, Octavius Flavius. The General was a close friend of the King who had eventually confided in the man about his affair with the woman he loved, and the subsequent possibility of a child with his blood being somewhere in the country. Octavius didn’t have to search far in order to locate Bianca, and explained to Giovanni that the King had wanted for Octavius to take the child into his care for protection. The King wanted to shield her from any potential harm that could come with being of royal blood. After much argument, Giovanni eventually reluctantly agreed to allow Octavius to raise his niece once her condition was stable, on the condition that he would not be cut out of her life and that he would still be able to see the girl regularly. After coming to a compromise on terms, both men agreed to keep Bianca’s heritage from her while she was growing up.

Bianca had a fairly normal childhood growing up. Being under the protection of the Fanalis Corps, the little girl always felt safe and was even doted on by some of the female members. Though she eventually came to the conclusion that she wasn’t related to him by blood, Bianca referred to Octavius as her father and loved him as such. Likewise, the General seemed to care for her as she was his own daughter. Whenever she inquired about her mother or father, she was told that her mother died during childbirth and her father succumbed to disease, and the subject was quickly changed.

Bianca was taken for routine checkups to the sickbay where her uncle worked, though in an effort to protect any connection to her blood relatives, he was referred to simply as “Gio”. Gio often let Bianca accompany him while tending to patients so long as she behaved herself, and the sick and injured seemed to appreciate the girl’s sweet demeanor. One day while visiting Gio, Bianca found him tending to a patient whose mental health had begun to deteriorate. Gio had warned her to stay away from the man’s room as he was unstable and prone to violent mood swings. The man’s family had brought him to the hospital in hopes that the life mages would be able to treat the man for his mental illness, but it seemed that nothing could be done for him.

When Gio finally left the man’s room to continue his duties with other patients, Bianca snuck to the man’s room and hovered in the door way hesitantly. The man was laying in his bed, staring out the window with a forlorn look in his eyes. Immediately the girl’s heart sunk at seeing such a sad display. Wanting desperately to cheer the poor man up, Bianca made haste to the garden in the courtyard of the hospital. Picking a handful of the prettiest flowers she could find, the young girl raced back to the man’s room feeling giddy. Surely the flowers would at least make him smile, if only a little. Forgetting Gio’s warning, she breezes into the room and skips over to the man. Startled at the sudden entrance, the man jumps in his bed as he turns to Bianca. His look of genuine surprise melts into a gentle look and he smiles, beckoning the girl forward with one hand while the other slipped under his pillow.

Seeing the man smile was akin to convincing Bianca that he was not really as dangerous as Gio had initially said. But the naïve girl had missed the spark of danger in the man’s eye, a look that began to overtake his expression as she drew closer. Just as she was about to thrust her hand with the flowers out to him, the man withdraws the hand that was hidden under his pillow and brandishes a knife above his head. With the intensity of either a skilled assassin or a mentally sick man, he brings the knife down upon the girl with killing intent. Frozen in shock, Bianca drops the flowers and can only stare in horror as the blade descends with her as its mark. Then she feels a dull thud, and notices that the searing pain that she had imagined she’d feel wasn’t really there. Instead, the blade seemed to be caught in mid-air with little bits of light flittering around where it had come in contact with what she would later come to know as her borg. Terrified, the little girl finds her voice and lets out a guttural wail.

Bianca never saw that man after that day, but she didn’t care much. After recounting what had happened to Gio, the man joyfully declared that she had a rare ability to perform magic. After trial and error, they discovered together that she had been blessed with the same type of magic as he: life magic.

Ever since the day when Bianca was discovered as a life mage, she spent more and more time under the tutelage of Gio. Acting as an apprentice of sorts, she eventually aided Gio in caring for his patients and was allowed to tend to smaller injuries on her own as she grew older. Delighted with her abilities, she divided her time between working at the hospital and spending time with the Fanalis Corps whom she’d come to love like a family. After their tragic and grisly defeat and the apparent death of her surrogate father, Bianca took up residence in the hospital permanently under the care of Gio.

Only issue with this is when she first uses magic, she does not have a staff or wand. Considering you have to have a Staff/Stave/Wand to use any type of magic, your character would have to somehow be in contact with such an item in order to revitalize that plant.
