Epic Quests!

We are going to be trying something new, folks…EPIC QUEST LINES!

What does this mean for you? What are Epic Quests? How do you get one? GLAD YOU ASKED!

Epic Quest lines will be developed by staff for an individual character, based strictly off of their personal plot, history and current posts. These threads will be completely unlike jobs, they do not offer XP or Huang rewards. They will also not have word count requirements or count against your thread counts!

As your character grows and develops, staff will begin to formulate ideas for an Epic Quest. These will relate to your history and personal plot from jobs, social threads, events and basic plot posts. The quest will lead you on an adventure tailored to your character and at the end, you will receive a reward based off of these posts. The rewards can be anything from weapons to magic tools to interesting RP items and sometimes, items that can simply be sold for Huang, if that is your desire.

It is very important to note that this is intended as a reward for those that are making an effort to develop their characters and are also an incentive for you to make a plot for a character. While there will be no word count requirements, we do ask that you provide quality, well-crafted posts, since that is what you are being rewarded for. This is an opportunity to offer your character closure for the past, inspiration for the future, drive to succeed!

For Epic Quests, Solomon’s Proxy will post up a thread with details about the beginning of your quest. From there, you will post in that thread. When each step is completed, Proxy will make another post for the next part of the quest. At the end, you will obtain your reward!

Rules for Epic Quests:

• Staff will approach you with an offer of an Epic Quest. Please do not request one.
  
• If a thread is not responded to within 5 days, and staff has not been notified of an absence, you will receive one post in reaction. If there is still no response within 5 days, the Quest will be considered abandoned.
  
• Staff will work closely with you regarding the direction of your quest and possible reward options. Please maintain clear lines of communication at all times.
