Job Name: The Boisterous Noble
Job Rank: D
Job Location: Reim
Job Rewards: 50 XP, 3,000 Huang
Possible Additional Rewards: [Informant Letter?] [Official's Confession?]
Job Prerequisites: Must be Liber
Job Overview:
Even after having scoured Remano for some period of time, there has been no sign of Kou forces that would suggest activity in Reim. That meant that there was either a well hidden operation taking place, or just a bunch of smoke and mirrors with Kou's one-day assault being enough to take on the opponents.
It has reached just into the afternoon of the day, and Liber finds himself eavesdropping for info and enjoying a good drink in one of the local bars. There had been no luck yet, but that luck was just about to change. An obviously rich government official begins boasting about how he has fallen on good fortune, and that it was due to his inside information with how closely he worked with Kou before they took over that he was able to capitalize on the changes. An hour or so later, he leaves and goes back to his home.
If he is followed, Liber will find that he ends up meeting with a Reim man, somebody he had seen in the past from the Underground and Black Market. If he had a particularly good memory, and had inquired around back when he was there, he would remember the man as an Informant. The man is passed a letter, which he would then take to a pigeon carrier service.
Liber has one of two choices; he may either follow the Informant or interrogate the government official:
As Kou's operations had been difficult to pin down, it was likely that they had a secure means of communication that was watched closely. This may prove to be an opportunity, or it may simply be another dead end.
----------
As Kou's operations had been difficult to pin down, perhaps the Noble has information that could prove useful. It is likely that, due to his indiscreet nature, approaching him would not remain a secret through one manner or another.
*Special note: the only requirement for this job is that you meet up with one of the two. Depending on how you RP this, you could meet up with both of them. The special item will be rewarded by Garret upon completion of the quest. Feel free to RP obtaining either, or both, of these items so long as it makes sense. If you choose to stalk the informant, do not double back to the Official, as that will be a different job if you choose to go that route.
