Everything was still. Jahangri's mind which was usually changing every moment every minute, hell even every second was still. Quite. Serene. The sun beat down as passionately as ever in the beautiful country of Reim. It had been a long time now, though not long enough. He had made leaps and bounds in his strength constantly working pushing himself to the edge of his bodies capabilities. Taking constant job after job and facing danger.
Now he could finally feel the effects, the pay off had come. He sat criss cross meditating on a rooftop. He loved the city and the bustling streets, almost as much as he thought they loved to see him meditate shirtless. At first he caused a scene, however after time the people saw him as any other warrior in training. Despit the eccentrics. He grinned he had grown bigger and he could feel his fathers strength flowing through his veins.
He reminensced on the several mile runs he would take through the capital everyday. He pondered the hundreds of push ups and situps, he contemplated every swing of the sword he took, over and over again. And for what? To be king? Yes. He relished the thought, but more than that the sheer adventure he felt from discovering his potential excited him. He didnt just believe in his own hype. He is the HYPE.
He opened his eyes a long months of work had flown by in an instant and now he was here. Better,Faster,Harder,Stronger.
Jahangri jumped from the rooftop officially bored of his own train of thought. He began a run, not for any particular reason. He just enjoyed the feeling of his body catching momentum, he loved the way his vision tunneled and the world seemed to blurr as he met top speed. "This is the result of my hard efforts" he thought. He approached a hill soon a few meters away and in no mood to run up it. Well...In a mood to show off he jumped his Fanalis strength sending him to the top of the hill in seconds. He continued running heading towards the colosseum there were tons of his sparring partners there.
He smiled waving to them having surpassed his rivals was a beautiful feeling. He loved it, there was an adventure in even working hard. He ran towards the group and put his hands up in a friendly type of way.
"How about a quick spar?Hmm? 4 vs 1?"
"You underestimate us Niko" One of the gladiators said calling him by his nickname before drawing his sword. "This guy." Jahan thought. He moved forward sending a powerful punch to the gladiator stomach. He then grappled the man by his arm tossing him over his shoulder. The remaining few decided to attack all together, however they were just to slow. The men were quickly defeated, disarmed and sent flying.
"Hahahaha!" Jahangi bellowed his hands on his hips. "You guys are light years too early to face me!" Jahangri flexed his bicep playfully.
Thats when one of the following gladiators quipped playfully "You've gotten far stronger in the last few months, but you have failed to learn one thing."
"What?" Jahan asked curiously
"That light years measure distance not time. Idiot."
Jahangri fell to his knees feeling defeated. He'd have to do more than train his body and sword play.
