Personality:
Lien is just like an illusion, you can't trust what you see. Like a snake in the grass she waits to strike and devour her prey. She is cunning and quick witted, never missing a beat in the way she approaches a situation, even when it seems the odds are turned against her. She wears many masks but she never loses herself in them, smiling behind the lies she weaves as quickly as a spider's web. The magic she wields mirrors her perfectly, getting into your system until its too late for you to realize that she's able to cause more bad than good [ in some contradicting cases this is a reversed statement ].

Patience is a most valued and often lost trait, Lien's patience level is godly . She can sit through the most doldrum of things. This makes her a first choice for jobs that others would otherwise turn down. This also makes her a perfect teacher for those who have a hard time with learning. For all the things said in the first paragraph Lien is actually very friendly and a social butterfly. She would rather have friends than she would have enemies. She comes off as sweet, respectful and a bit shy. She won't allow any disrespect towards her or any in her company and can be stern when it is needed. She is particularly careful when it comes to people in general. Lien loves to meet new people so that she can dissect them from the mental to emotional aspects. To pick at their small unnoticeable details and makes mental points on them. Lien rather listen than to speak and can be a outlet for those who need to let off steam. Though she has absolutely no problem keeping up stimulating conversations, being so well educated and versed in the world around her.

Lien has National pride and loves the Zou empire. She enjoys her lavish lifestyle and fully believes that the Zou empire should rule over all, it's only right after all. Lien is all and all neutral to the world around her, as long as things fall in place in her favor she has no reason to go against the way of things. The lives of others do not concern her unless she needs them to further her own needs. She is known to dabble in the underbelly of the world and is very pro slavery. Lien understands that others do not see things the way she does but rather keep her own illicit activities very hush, hush.

To sum up Lien, her main priority is herself. She wants to learn about things out side of her own grasp but also wants a peaceful existence. She is not above using under handed techniques in order to get what she desires, and in truth she is not one someone should put any trust in at all. Her true nature makes her very dangerous as she can switch sides very quickly if it works out better for her. She enjoys the company of others and her actions can at times contradict her words and vice versa bringing out more of that conniving nature. She makes a perfect ally and a dangerous enemy. For those willing to take a gamble she is one to bet on.

Likes:
Snakes : The alluring creatures are pleasing to her eye and the abilities they posses on their own are something she as a Poison Magic wielder is attracted too.

Traveling : Lien enjoys going to new places and meeting new people. The people she meets are really only so she can study them and make " friends ".

Magic : Ever since she could remember Magic has pulled her out of many tough situations and has placed her on a different level from those who do not posses magical abilities. She enjoys her magic type more than anything else.

Dislikes:
Fanalis Race : Lien thinks the whole race to be pathetic and dangerous. She rather them be enslaved than free.

Peace : A boring concept that will bring the world nothing but staleness. Lien likes a bit of chaos to light the flames of fun and adventure.

Phobias:
Being caught in a lie : Being caught in her own lie or being pointed out that she is not the person one thinks, brings so much anger and frustration to Lien. She believes herself smart enough to fool and deceive, people for someone to outwit her well that's a thought of the impossible. This fear makes her extra careful to just not be caught. In ever doing so would probably have her kill the person who caught her in the first place

Aspirations:
Helping the Zou Empire in it's Conquest and Making a name for herself: Lien loves her country and everything it stands for. She wants to be a prominent figure, being in the ranks of the commanders one day and to surpass her father. Her true goal in life is unsure but for now she is satisfied with carrying out her father's bidding.

To Conquer a dungeon ( or a few ) : The power and riches inside of a dungeon is a very luring thing, even Lien is drawn into it's mysteries. To obtain any item even a Djinn would certainly help her gain the " name " she wants to acquire.

It's clear when one looks at Lien that she is from a upbringing fit for royalty and discipline. Before her physical appearance can be explained it is always noted that her body language is what stands out the most. Lien stands tall and no matter whom she looks at it always seems that she is looking down on them even when she must look up to see anyone. Her posture never falters and it is one that commands respect. Her back is straight with her chin always slightly up and out, not so much too seem like she is challenging anyone but enough to show that she is in complete control. When she walks she takes graceful strides that are well grounded and precise. It's because of her outstanding form that her true beauty shines.

Lien's facial appearance is in her honest opinion the second thing others see when they look at her. She has creamy vanilla colored skin that show no visible scars or blemishes. Her skin is also soft to the touch and lets off a light clean scent at all times. Her face is round and on her face she holds one pair of ever-changing brown eyes. Lien's eyes hold a rather playful, innocent stare which puts others at ease around her. Just below her eyes is a small, sharp, and slightly upturned nose. Her lips are rose pink in color and soft to the touch with her top lip being thinner than her thicker bottom lip. She wears no make up on her face and has a natural glow to her.

Blessed with long, Chestnut Brown hair that ,with a wild curly strand sticking out on the right side of her head that can't seem to be tamed. Her hair drops just below the arch of her back in soft waves at the end. She rarely styles her hair preferring to leave it down with a parted bang and two pink flowers in her hair, one placed on each side of her head. She will never cut her hair, considering it a taboo and finds woman who has cut their hair to be unsightly.

Pleasingly pretty Lien seems to fill the role of the " innocent type " in terms of looks. Standing at a height of five feet and six inches and weighing in at one hundred and twenty-five pounds, Lien's frame is rather average with nothing being too small nor too large. Her body is toned though not overly muscular yet with obvious signs that she has a rather rigorous training regime. Her arms and legs are slender with her legs being just a bit thicker around the thigh area. Her waist nips in and her hips flare out giving her a hourglass figure, though on a more petite scale. Her hands are small and her fingers are long though delicate while her nails are always neatly done in a perfect manicure. Her feet are the same though her toes are not as long as her fingers and rather short.

Lien's clothing selection is rather large due to her fortunate upbringing, but most in not all her clothing consists of a qipao with long, flowing sleeves, and a long white skirt. She favors pastel or earthy colors over dark or bright ones. On her feet she wears a pair of silk slippers that usually match the color of the outfit she wears. When in other countries she may or may try out the country style to adopt as her own, if it pleases her.

History:

Lien was original born in Heliohapt to a woman who worked in a " men's " bar and a man who was a Commander to the Zou Empire. Her father didn't fall in love with her mother and her conception was more or less from a night of drinking and lust. Once the deed was done Lien's mother already knew she had made a mistake, with the commander gone from her bedside in the early morning. Lien's mother who's name was Jamila quickly began to grow during her months carrying the child. She lost her job because of her body and she had to turn to prostitution. This put a strain on her and as she continue to grow she began to lose even customers. This forced her to make a choice for her and a child she did not want, yet did not want to harm.

Seven months into her pregnancy Jamila had save up a good sum of money and decided that she either had to find the father or place the child in better care. During the travel Jamila had given birth to the child prematurely. She didn't name the child because at this point she had already decided that she would not be going any further with the child. During one of the stops Jamila took her very vulnerable child and placed her in a basket and then placed her in someone's carriage. Jamila would have never known it but she placed her child right into the hands of her father....Funny how fate works.

Commander Jun was shocked at the basket he found as he stumbled back into the carriage. A tiny sleeping baby with messy hair and a weak appearance was in his ride. Upon further inspection he found the child to be a girl. Jun didn't know what to do but he had plenty of time to think on his way home. As the carriage continued on towards Zou, Jun picked up a wet nurse for the child and decided to give her a name and for some reason he himself did not fully understand to keep her.

Lien grew up in a very lavished and spoiled lifestyle and as she grew Jun could see the strong resemblance between him and his adopted daughter. Lien at a young age was taught many different things from politics to world history. Once it was found out that she had the capacity to become a mage, no time was wasted in finding her the absolute best teachers. So Lien grew up with things being handed to her left and right, with marriage proposals being sent to the Sheng family on a daily. Jun didn't care too much for the marriage proposals for his daughter and let it be up to her weather she wanted to be married or not, which of course she didn't. She wanted for nothing but feared that she would grow stagnant in this polished lifestyle. She head already learned from the best and in doing so she dipped her hand far into a world where young girls should never go. She had adopted a personality that could be seen as fearful. Her father had seen this but did not worry for his daughter and instead sent her out into the world to do the bidding of the Zou empire under his name.

Lien not once objected, excited to go out into the world. She receives missions from her father.....
