Job Overview: It has only been a couple of days since the cave snake has left the city and claimed his home. He is already hungry despite the large meal of the cave lion. He must now go out and hunt down enough food to sate his hunger no matter how temporary.
So in his large form, he would slither into the sands that had surrounded his new home and something he knew all too well in his previous life as a human. He would use the powerful muscles of his whole body to propel himself through the sand quickly and quietly. The orphan of the desert had chosen this form because it was stronger which meant he could move through the landscape at a greater pace than the smaller form. His small form was more agile and better suited for stealth which he has already used for hunting before but now it was a chance for him to try to gain a better understanding of his capabilities in this new form of his.
Soon he would catch a faint scent of something warm and fresh. The abyss that he was afraid would one day consume him called for the scent, craved the warm flesh that this sensory path would surely lead the human snake towards. The smell was getting stronger but did not seem to ever get closer to the one that was pursuing, as if it was aware of him. He would pick up speed as he continued too pursue the prey. He no longer cared about stealth as his hunger was too loud and smothered any voices of reason that he once had.
He was finally getting closer when he realized what this scent was. It was horse, he was certain of it. He had never had the chance to have horse while he was on the street so it was no surprise to him when saliva starts gushing out from his mouth leaving a trail of damp sand in his path.
As if giving into his animalistic urges and instincts, his vision begins to grow hazy as the horse comes into view. There were other, unrecognizable shapes near the horse as well as the buzzing of noise as they sounded like insects to him. Perhaps it was a herd of horses, ones that he could gorge himself on and sate this ever growing hunger he was seemingly cursed with at birth.
Without hesitation, the beast of scale and muscle would unhinge it’s jaw as it launches itself at the horse, swallowing it whole, feeling the warmth of blood as his muscular body crushes the prey that was now inside him. The taste was unimaginable delicious but he realized it was not just one taste but two? How was there two tastes?
Sated just the slightest bit, his hunger would return his full vision as he would see himself in a pool of blood with a leg in the sand before him, not one of a horse. The Buzzing would become more coherent as he found himself surrounded by not beast but humans. He had just committed an unforgivable sin. The consumption of the flesh of man.
